  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the latest evidence for interventions involving adolescent newlyweds, and the feasibility of premarital coaching (PMC). Methods: A narrative literature review design carried out through related studies was used for the present literature review. A diverse search from several databases was performed to create a critical appraisal and to develop a more integrated model for the PMC program. Studies that empirical, written in English, peer-reviewed, and published during 2008~2017 were included. Results: Six articles were selected for the review. The principal findings identified three major themes including underage period as a high-risk for marriage, development tasks of the newly married spouse, parenting self-efficacy and the psycho-educational approach of PMC to enhance parenting knowledge, skills, and readiness. Conclusion: It was found that content of PMC as the preparation of underage married couples were formulated based on coaching technic, various spouse and parenting educations, and adjusted based on couples's preferences. Rigorous studies with measurement of long-term retentions are needed.

  • Participant observations, in-depth interviews, and analyses of documents were used for collecting data. Children separated from their parents were living with grandparents because their parents were working abroad. Results included socio-cultural and psycho-social factors. (1) The socio-cultural grounded factors or the common characteristics of young children's family life in both living circumstances included early childhood academic achievement orientation, demands of responsibility and obedience, limited opportunity for social development, and societal phenomenadeveloping wide family concept affected by China's Confucianism and Korean-Chinese social culture. (2) Psycho-social grounded factors included the present care-givers' perceptions of the child's agency and their beliefs in the importance of play and friendship. • The psycho-pharmacological effect of BRHAT VATACHINTAMANI RASA (BVC) an Ayurvedic preparation was investigated, both in animal and clinical models. It was observed that BVC possess a sedative or quitening effect in that it significantly decreased the spontaneous motor activity, and also lowered the exploratory behavior of the amphetamine treated animals. This was further evident by increase in climbing out time and taming effect on animal in isolation induced aggression test. Apart from very high dose it seems have little effect on pentobarbital sleeping time and narcotic analgesic test. The drug BVC increases performance of the animal in forced locomotor test. The effect of VATACHINTAMANI RASA on clinical study was not significant.

  • Using eye mark recorder and polygraph, basic laboratory experiments have been conducted to investigate the validity of psycho-physiological measures to the analysis of on-line cognitive information characteristics at man-machine interface (MMI). It is concluded that various psycho-physiological measures are useful to estimate various aspects of human cognitive characteristics and thus to the evaluation of MMI designing from the viewpoint of its harmony to the human cognitives.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the main factors and attributes of psychological evaluation to noise. For this purpose, a psycho-acustic experiment was conducted by using the method of rating scale. 52 subjects were participated in the experiment, 20 stimuli were presented to subjects in random order with 23 adjectives. As a result of factor analysis, it was found that the primary factors for evaluating the quality of noise subjectively are four factors of unpleasantness, intensity, irregularity, and sharpness. And, as a result of MDPREF(multi-dimensional analysis of preference data), it was found that the noise sources including the factors of unpleasantness, intensity, and irregularity are related to the sounds of hammering in construction field, car horn, road traffic, idling of car, and printing by computer printer, and the factor of sharpness are the sounds of car siren, claps of thunder, car horn, and snowstorm etc.

  • For the accurate evaluations of influence of construction noise, it is necessary to investigate not only physical characteristics of construction noise but also the subjective psycho-acoustical respects of individual persons. To develope the effective evaluation procedures for construction noise, we investigated Korean vocabularies which can express the feelings for construction noise, and analyzed psychological factors influencing on the subjective feelings of persons, through a series of psycho-acoustical experiments to construction noise. As a result of, it was found that the construction noise sources including the six factors. And this study intends to get the basic data for the evaluations about construction noise.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the mutual reciprocal relationship between elders' ego integrity and depression including physical and psycho-social predictors of both variables. The study also investigated the significant predictors of elders' ego integrity and depression. Methods: Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from 137 elders. Results: Perceived health status, self-esteem, family interaction, and depression were significant predictors of ego integrity, whereas pain, self-esteem, and ego integrity were significant factors of depression. The results also showed that ego integrity and depression had reciprocal relationship with each other. Conclusion: Psycho-social factors might be more important to improve ego integrity and to alleviate depression in elderly subjects than physical factors.

  • This study aims to examine the existing single rating index in terms of level reduction limit of heavy-weight floor impact sound. To achieve this goal, sounds which have same loudness according to rating methods were suggested to subjects. And followings are results. 1) The rating method of measurement frequency level average is more suitable than that of other methods which are dependent on specific frequency for rating heavy-weight floor impact sound. 2) Level average for measurement frequency of $31.5\;Hz{\sim}500\;Hz$ is more correspondent to psycho-acoustic response than that of measurement frequency of $63\;Hz{\sim}500\;Hz$ which is for KS F 2863-2, existing rating method.

  • Human sensibility is assessed by measuring and analyzing various physiological signals in an objective way, or by analyzing adjectives chosen by the subjects in a subjective way. The present study aims at developing an integrated human sensibility assessment system that measures changes in a person's objective and subjective sensibility in real-time and analyzes them in an integrative way. The present system is composed of a real-time subjective sensibility assessment system, an automatic subjective sensibility assessment system and a real-time physiological signal measurement and analysis system for sensibility assessment, which are separated from one another. It can be utilized individually, or can be combined as a synthetic sensibility assessment system for comprehensive sensibility assessment.
