Recently, many researches have been conducted to solve data heterogeneity as a way for data integration. The elements of the system that we suggest are an XMDR wrapper and XMDR Repository. XMDR wrapper solves the heterogeneity of the existing system by creating the interface based on the standard information of XMDR, and performing the inter-conversion between global XMDR query and local query using mapping data on standard information and local schema. XMDR Repository are composed of XMDR which manages the mapping data on standard information and local schema, and of Proxy DB which saves the accomplished results. With XMDR wrapper and XMDR Repository, users can use the same interface, and they need not conduct repeated queries since XMDR wrapper not only solves the heterogeneity of the schema using the meta-semantic ontology of XMDR, but also considers the heterogeneity accompanying the meaning of the value through instance semantic ontology. Therefore, in this paper we suggest the grid wrapper for the solution of data heterogeneity and efficient data integration.
In this paper, we propose a Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) proxy system, to provide services for accessing and sharing various DLNA-based media contents which are distributed over his/her or other's home facilities via home network or internet. The proposed system based on DLNA[1] and SIP Notification mechanism[2] so that data such as contents can be transferred from home network consisted with private IP from outside public IP networks.
The need for end-to-end security has been increased with the widespread use of mobile devices in wireless internet access applications such as mobile commerce. The WAP1.x has an end-to-end security problem that the message transmitted between the mobile device and the Web server is decrypted inside the gateway within a short time. To overcome this problem, several protocols including WAP2.0 has been proposed. These protocols require that the heavy modules such as TLS or data compression modules should be installed on the mobile device with limited resources. This paper proposes a new WTLSW(WTLS-TLS at Web server) protocol and a new WAP2.0 proxy model in order to ensure end-to-end security between the mobile device and the Web server and to be appropriate for mobile devices with limited resources.
A reduction in search costs is generally believed to make markets more competitive. However, the effect may be mitigated or amplified if consumers must pay costs for switching products. This paper investigates how search costs affect prices in the presence of switching costs using U.S. domestic airfare data for 2000-2010. The airline industry experienced a dramatic decrease in search costs with increasing Internet use in the 2000s. At the same time, the industry is known for its frequent flyer programs (FFPs), which increase switching costs for consumers. We use the average network size of airlines in a market as a proxy for switching costs related to FFPs and Internet usage as a proxy for (the inverse of) search costs. The results show that increasing Internet usage lowers airfares but that the effect is smaller for markets with a larger average network size.
Purpose: Prior studies empirically examine how financial flexibility is related to required returns by using realized returns and considering cash holdings as net debts, but they fail to find consistent results. Conjecturing that inappropriate proxy of required returns and aggregation of cash and debts caused the inconsistent results, this study revisits this topic by using a refined proxy of required returns and separating cash holdings from debts. Research design, data and methodology: This study uses a multivariate regression model to investigate the relationship between required returns on cash holdings and financial leverage. The required returns are estimated using the return decomposition method by vector autoregression model. Empirical tests use US stock market data from1968 to 2011. Results: Empirical results reveal that both cash holdings and leverage are positively related to required returns. The positive relation is stronger in economic downturns than in economic upturns. Conclusions: Three major findings are drawn. First, risky firms prefer large cash balance. Second, information shocks in the realized returns caused failure of prior studies to find consistent positive relationship between leverage and realized returns. Third, cash and leverage are related to required returns in the same direction; therefore, cash cannot be considered as negative debts.

Current Traceback is difficult due to the development of bypass technique Proxy and IP-driven to trace the real IP Source IP is the IP traceback after the actual verification is difficult. In this paper, an intelligent about SQL Query field, column, table elements such as analysis of the value and the matching key values and Data used here to analyze source user hit point values for the user to trace the Application Layer IP for the analysis of forensic evidence guided by In this study, including forensic DB security will contribute to the development of electronic trading.
NAT (Network Address Translation) is an IP address modification protocol that translates private IP address into authentic Internet address. The main features of NAT are to improve network security and to save IP address. Generally speaking, in order to perform its functionality, NAT uses the address information in the packet header. Certain application protocols, however, use the information in the packet data as well as the information in the packet header to perform end-to-end communication. Therefore, to support these types of application protocols, NAT should be able to perform appropriate translation of protocol information in the packet data. In this thesis, we design and implement a method which translates virtual IP information in the packet date into real IP information by using port proxy server.

With the growth of Internet-of-Things (IoT) technologies, the number of IoT devices developers need to manage has increased exponentially. Many IoT standards have been proposed to allow those devices to communicate efficiently in day-to-day tasks. However, we lack trusted interworking entities for devices from different standards to collaborate securely. This paper proposes a blockchain platform that bridges multiple heterogeneous IoT platforms to co-exist and interwork. Specifically, we designed an interworking proxy application entity (IPE) implemented as a chaincode in Hyperledger Fabric to collect and process data coming from/to oneM2M and LWM2M architecture. The use of blockchain will guarantee network reliability and data integrity so that cross-standard communications can be audited and processed securely. Based on our evaluation, we show that the interworking between oneM2M and LWM2M through our blockchain platform is feasible. Furthermore, the proposed system can process up to 206 transactions per second with 1,000 running applications, which is about an 87% increase from the previously referenced study.
This paper describes the design and implementation of architecture for convergence of home network services and data broadcasting services based on UMB and ACAP middleware; the one is used for interoperability of home networked devices, and the other for data broadcasting services. The proposed architecture provides TV-centric user interface capable of managing home network services and data broadcasting services together using a remote controller and TV sets TV applying Java TV Xlet interface and HAVi user interface for home network services like data broadcasting services. Besides, we define the service proxy for accessing home network services in a set-top box and the service broker for providing data related to home network services in a home server. Finally, the application manager in ACAP middleware manages the lifecycle of home network services through service events from the service proxy to the application manager.
