원자로 내부구조물 종합진동평가 고유 해석방법론 개발 (Development of The New Analysis Methodology for Comprehensive Vibration Assessment Program for Reactor Internals)

  • This paper describes a newly-developed analysis methodology in comprehensive vibration assessment program (CVAP) of reactor internals to develop a valid-prototype for the design of nuclear power plants. The new analysis methodology developed in this study will be confirmed through a scale model testing (SMT). Based on the measurements obtained from dynamic pressure transducers in the SMT, a new non-dimensional equation is developed to apply the forcing functions at reactor internals for the prototype. In addition to the new non-dimensional equation, a computational fluid dynamics(CFD) is used to develop the application of the hydraulic loads at reactor internals for the prototype.

  • Durability estimation of a prototype vehicle has traditionally relied heavily on accelerated durability tests using predefined proving grounds or rig tests using a road simulator. By use of those tests, it is very difficult to predict durability failures in actual service environments. This motivated the development of an integrated CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) methodology for the durability estimation of a prototype vehicle in actual service environments. Since expensive computational costs such as computation time and hardware resources are required for a full vehicle simulation in those environments with a very long span of event time, the conventional CAE methodologies have little feasibility. An efficient computational methodology for durability estimations is applied with theoretical developments. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology is shown by the comparison of results of the typical actual service environment such as the city mode with those of the typical accelerated durability test over the Belgian road.

  • 조선족문화지도는 아시아전자문화지도 구현을 위한 첫 단계로 기획된 프로토타입 전자문화지도이다. 조선족은 조선어와 한어를 함께 사용하며 한민족 고유의 유 무형 전통문화와 중국의 문화를 융합된 형태로 지닌 소수민족 특유의 문화특징을 보여주며, 이러한 소수민족적 특징은 다민족적이고 다문화적인 아시아 문화를 이해하고 표현하는데 있어 중요한 요소중 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 조선족 문화지도 설계를 위해 관련 자료의 수집 분류, 키워드추출, 유사항목 분류, 문화지도요소 추출, 전자문화지도 기술요소 추출 및 프로토타입 설계, 전자문화지도의 구현 등 아시아전자문화지도 전체에 적용될 설계방법론을 제시하고 있다.

MPV 프레임의 피로수명 예측 (Fatigue Life Prediction of a Multi-Purpose Vehicle Frame)

  • Recently, for the development of vehicle structures and components there is a tendency to increase using numerical simulation methods compared with practical tests for the estimation of the fatigue strength. In this study, an integrated powerful methodology is suggested for fatigue strength evaluation through development of the interface program to integrate dynamic analysis quasi-static stress analysis and fatigue analysis, which were so far used independently. To verify the presented evaluation method, a single and zigzag bump run test, 4-post road load simulation and driving durability test have been performed. The prediction results show a good agreement between analysis and test. This research indicates that the integrated life prediction methodology can be used as a reliable design tool in the pre-prototype and prototype development stage, to reduce the expense and time of design iteration.

반응표면분석법을 활용한 조미굴김의 개발 및 특성 (Development and Characterization of Seasoned Laver with Concentrated Cooking Oyster Effluent Using RSM)

  • To develop a seasoned laver from cooking oyster effluent (C-COE), this study optimized the C-COE concentration, roasting temperature and time using response surface methodology (RSM). The optimal C-COE concentration, roasting temperature and time for producing seasoned laver from C-COE were 31.0%, 182.2℃ and 21.1 sec, respectively. The proximate composition of the seasoned laver prepared with C-COE under the conditions was 5.2% moisture, 37.4% crude protein, 8.2% crude lipid, 11.1% ash, 38.1% carbohydrate. The water activity of the prototype seasoned laver was 0.038. The prototype had stronger taste and flavor intensities than a commercial product. There was no difference (P>0.05) in the Hunter color value between the prototype and the commercial product. The peroxide (POV) and acid values (AV) of the prototype were 6.0 meq/kg and 1.4 mg KOH/g, respectively, which are considered acceptable. The results suggest that the seasoned laver with C-COE developed can be industrialized.

  • As the new model development lead time becoming shorter and the market requirements becoming more strict, automobile manufacturer begins to utilize 3-dimensional CAD system based techniques such as DMU (Digital Mock-up), Rf (Rapid Prototyping), VE (Virtual Engineering) to meet the market trends. But, no satisfactory utilities have been developed yet, to represent emotional properties such as embossment on the surface of interior parts, touch originated from material characteristics in virtual environment, so it is inevitable to manufacture prototype parts to verify actual feeling which passengers feel in automobile. This paper suggests a methodology to enhance the human sensitivity via embodying embossment on the surface of prototype car interior trim without deterioration of dimensional accuracy using RIM (Reaction Injection Molding) and thermoforming method.

  • 최근 인간 중심의 디자인이 패러다임을 형성하면서 인터페이스 디자인에서도 사용자 이해를 위한 노력이 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 그래픽 인터페이스 디자인을 위한 체계적인 프로세스에 대한 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자 중심의 인터페이스 디자인을 위하여 디자인 프로세스상에서 프로토타입을 활용하는 방법에 대해 연구가 이루어 졌다. 연구는 세 부분으로 구성되어 있다. 먼저 문헌 연구를 통해 프로토타입의 정의, 종류, 활용의 의의, 활용 기법에 관한 다각적인 자료를 정리 소개하였다. 그리고 두 번째로는, 이러한 이론적 배경지식이 프로토타입을 활용한 인터페이스 제품 개발의 프로세스의 모델에서 종합된다. 즉, 인터페이스 디자인에서의 프로토 타입은 아이디어 스케치부터 실제품 수준의 것까지 다양한 종류가 있으며, 디자인 프로세스의 각 단계에서 목적에 따라 그에 맞는 수준의 프로토타입이 개발되면 그에 맞는 방법으로 평가가 이루어지는 틀을 제시한다. 그리고 마지막으로는, 다중 참여 교육용 멀티미디어 제품 개발의 사례를 통해 앞에서 제시한 프로세스 모델의 구체적인 예를 보이고 검증한다.

Effect of the Application of the CBD Output Management Technique for the Development of Operation Software for a Space Observation System

  • The application of software engineering is not common in the development of astronomical observation system. While there were component-wise developments in the past, large-scale comprehensive system developments are more common in these days. In this study, current methodologies of development are reviewed to select a proper one for the development of astronomical observation system and the result of the application is presented. As the subject of this study, a project of operation software development for an astronomical observation system which runs on the ground is selected. And the output management technique based on Component Based Development which is one of the relatively recent methodologies has been applied. Since the nature of the system requires lots of arithmetic algorithms and it has great impact on the overall performance of the entire system, a prototype model is developed to verify major functions and performance. Consequently, it was possible to verify the compliance with the product requirements through the requirement tracing table and also it was possible to keep to the schedule. Besides, it was suggested that a few improvements could be possible based on the experience of the application of conventional output management technique. This study is the first application of the software development methodology in the domestic astronomical observation system area. The process and results of this study would contribute to the investigation for a more appropriate methodology in the area of similar system development.

  • 본 연구의 최종 목표는 모바일 인터넷 서비스의 사용편의성을 높이는 데 있어 그래픽디자인 평가 방법론을 개발하고, 인터페이스 디자인에서의 사용자 니즈(needs)를 예측할 수 있는 측정모델을 개발하며, 평가기반을 시스템화 하는데 있다. 이를 위해 GUI 디자인 평가 방법론의 핵심 내용을 시스템화하여 프로토타입(Prototype) 설계 및 평가과정을 직접 지원하는 UI 설계지원 시스템으로 구현하였다. Small Screen이라는 제한된 display 환경에서는 사용자가 인지의 과부하 없이 단시간에 임무를 완성하도록 조작정보의 흐름을 즉각적이고 함축적인 방법으로 알려줄 수 있는 사용자 중심의 시각언어-이미지를 이용하여야 하며, 또한 UI 설계에 반영함에 있어서는 객관성을 높여야만 한다. 이에 모바일 인터넷의 사용편의성을 체계적으로 평가할 수 있는 디자인 평가 방법론은 매우 중요하며, 특히 사용자의 디자인 니즈 및 트렌드(Trend)를 예측할 수 있는 그래픽디자인 평가모델은 사용자의 감성적인 측면을 인터페이스 디자인에 반영할 수 있다는 특성으로 해서 그 의의가 매우 크다고 할 것이다. 이러한 디자인 평가라는 결과를 토대로 모바일 인터넷 표준 GUI가 설계되었으며, 차후 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 환경의 GUI 개발에도 활용이 될 수 있는 기초가 되었으면 한다.

식스 시그마 DFSS 와 VE 를 이용한 경량 파렛트 설계 (The Development of pallet based on the DFSS Methodology and Value Engineering for Lighter Logistics)

  • A steel pallet to carry lighter logistic articles is developed based on the DFSS(design for Six Sigma) methodology. Combining the conventional DFSS(Design For Six Sigma) methodology with that of VE(Value Engineering) is the novel feature of this paper to achieve maximum cost reduction. In this paper, systematical steps to achieve the required structural spec's are presented by conventional DMEDI(Define-Measure-Explore-Develop-Implement) process. To imply the target costing, evaluation of functions consisting of the pallet has been performed by value methodology. Then best design concept is selected in the Explore step, following structural optimization utilizing FEM. Finally the performance of prototype is investigated by pilot test in the Implement step. The developed steel pallet is being commercialized in the fields of automated ware house.
