  • For the safety of train operation, monitoring & supervisory systems for train, signal, power, communication and facilities is operating independently in another place, so, its sensors are interdependently connected from each other to transfer gathering datas of sensing to control center. A Goal of Real-time railway safety supervision system is to improve the safety oversight efficiency and to prevent accidents by means of hazard prediction based on big data by integrating all of safety sensing data in wayside of railway, and the System is requested acquisition of all of sensing data of safety. So, we need special method of protocol converting for the purpose of integrating all of detecting data concerning safety without any changing application. In this paper we investigate the existing converting method in communication field, and propose a new progress to converting protocol adding function of transfer using XML file, and implemented this algorithm, and tested with example packets, finally.

Design of Multi-protocol IED for Networked Control System of Multi-Induction Motor in Industrial Fields

  • This paper proposes a new design and implementation of multi-protocol IED for networked control system of multi-induction motor in industrial fields. The experimental multi-induction motor based multi-protocol IED of Modbus/LonTalks/TCP/IP module is designed and fabricated. This article addresses issues in architecture of LonWorks/Ethernet sever, embedded processors architecture for converting Modbus protocol to LonTalks protocol, integrating preconfigured software, and Internet technologies. It is also verified that the multi-induction motor control and monitoring system using LonWorks/Ethernet server have available, interoperable, reliable performance characteristics from the experimental results, especially, the seamless integration of TCP/IP networks with control networks allows access to any control point from anywhere. Thus, the results provide available technical data for remote distributed motor control system of industrial field or building microgrid with LonWorks BAS.

  • This study aim is to effectively reduce the time that was required for the analysis on an existing communication protocol with the industrial monitoring equipment. We analyzed the collected data with the Modbus protocol and NMEA0183, which is widely used in industrial monitoring. and User will be easy converting to data for use on each devices. The main board of the protocol converter was used AVR128, and RS232C and Ethernet was configured to enable communication.

  • In this paper, we want to able to reduce the time effectively about the analysis of protocol and development of protocol converter in industrial network. For this purpose, we developed the user protocol converter that can be to analysing the communication protocol in the industrial network. and also that is able to converting to user protocol and transmitting to another network. The developed user protocol converter was consist of S/W and H/W, and is supporting the Modbus, the NMEA0183 and the ethernet. The hardware main processor was used the AVR128, and placed the serial communication part and the ethernet part in converter board. The experiment results, we acquired very high transmission rate and conversion rate.

  • In order to broadcast 8K UHD, domestic broadcasting is upgrading production, operation, and transmission technologies in a new way that has various forms such as terrestrial broadcasting, IPTV, mobile, and streaming services. In order to overcome the existing SDI transmission technology that has reached its limit, new transmission technologies using ICT-based convergence such as IT, Network, IOT, and Big Data are developing. Internet Protocol(IP) transmission technology is an IT-based core protocol that transcends various broadcasting infrastructures. Therefore, it can be said that the technology for converting the broadcasting system based on IP is a natural one for preparing for 8K UHD in the future. In this paper, we propose an IP transmission system that adopts a network that can transmit 8K with hardware of 12G Serial Digital Interface (SDI), in order to prepare for the future broadcasting system according to the development of ALL IP interface technology.

  • This is the last part of the four-part describing the development of a packet-switched computer communication network named the KORNET. In this paper we describe the design and implementation of the packet assembler/dissassembler (PAD) protocol for the asynchronous channel service, and of the network management softwares. The line processing module-B(LPMB) system supporting the asynchronous line includes a PAD protocol, a packet mode DTE/DCE protocol converting to the X.25 protocol, and the asynchronous receiver/transmitter(ART) software. The network management software is operated in master central processing module(MCPM) which includes virtual circuit management (VCM) managing the user channel, the routing management and the high level protocol for communication between the network management center (NMC) and the network node processor(NNP). In this paper, the design, implementation and operation of the softwares for the above service functions will be described in detail.

  • 무선통신 단말기의 발전과 함께 이를 활용할 수 있는 방법론에 대한 논의도 활발해지고 있으며, 이중 가장 주목받고 있는 것이 이동 통신 단말기를 이용한 무선인터넷 서비스이다. 이러한 서비스의 기반이 되는 것이 무선 인터넷 프로토콜인 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol)이다. 현재의 셀룰러망을 이용한 통신은 비교적 낮은 전송률을 가지고 있어, 대용량의 데이터들을 포함하는 WWW 문서 및 대량의 무선 마크업 언어(WML: Wireless Markup Language) 문서를 전송하기에는 너무 느린 단점을 가지고 있다. 이에 대한 대안으로 본 논문에서는 WAP 포럼 내에서 제정한 프로토콜에 변환기능을 추가한 Gateway를 설계 및 구현하였다.

  • 현재의 CDMA(code-division multiple access) 셀룰러망을 이용한 통신은 비교적 낮은 전송률을 가지고 있어 대용량의 데이터들을 포함하는 웹 문서 및 대량의 투선 마크업 언어(WML: Wireless Markup Language) 문서의 전송 속도면에서 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 대한 대안으로 해결을 위하여 WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) 포럼 내에서는 기본적으로 휴대용 기기나 모바일 기기에 최적화한 마이크로브라우저의 규격을 명시함은 물론 프로토콜 전판이나 모빌컴퓨터에 맞는 데이터전송을 최적화시킴으써 무선네트워크와 유선 인터넷간의 게이트웨이 기능을 하는 프록시서버 규격도 확립하였다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 점을 고려하여 Gateway 내에서 프로토콜을 변환하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다.

  • This paper proposes a new Web based-control concept & design method and implementation of LonWorks network system for a large scale renewable energy energy control and monitoring system in building. The Experimental LonWorks network system using LonWorks/Ethernet(Web) server is designed and fabricated.   • In this paper, we propose the protocol for construction of smart factory. The proposed protocol for construction of smart factory consists of an OPC UA Server/Client, a technology of TSN realtime communication, a NTP & PTP time synchronization protocol, a FieldBus protocol and conversion module, a technology of saving data for data transmit latency and synchronization protocol. OPC UA server/client is a system integration protocol which makes interface industrial hardware device and supports standardization which allows in all around area and also in not independent from any platform. A technology of TSN realtime communication provides an high sensitive time management and control technology in a way of sharing specific time between devices in the field of high speed network. NTP & PTP time synchronization protocol supports IEEE1588 standardization. A fieldbus protocol and conversion module provide an extendable connectivity by converting industrial protocol to OPC. A technology of saving data for data transmit latency and synchronization protocol provide a resolution function for a loss and latency of data. Results from testing agencies to assess the performance of proposed protocol for construction of smart factory, response time was 0.1367ms, synchronization time was 0.404ms, quantity of concurrent access was 100ea, quantity of interacting protocol was 5ea, data saving and synchronization was 1,000 nodes. It produced the same result as the world's highest level.
