지중배전계통 보호설비 적정위치 선정을 위한 실증시험과 해석 (Field Test and Analysis for Proper Location of Protective Equipment in Underground Distribution System)

  • This paper describes the method for proper location of protective equipment in underground distribution cable through field test and analysis at testing lines. To prove the reliability for analysis simulated by EMTP/ATPDraw, the testing results obtained by the real test and the analysis for the same test lines were compared each other. The accuracy of analysis was proved by the comparison. Over voltages were measured and analyzed at each point of cable and switches in case of which lightning surge current was applied. The analysing method was applied to real distribution systems to select the proper location of protective equipment. It is evaluated that the location of protective equipment was properly selected.

해외 원자력발전소 방호도장 유지관리 현황 고찰 (Study on Protective Coating Management Status in Overseas Nuclear Power Plant)

  • Protective coatings at nuclear power plants should be designed to withstand exposure to ambient conditions during normal operation or design-basis accidents. However, there was a change in the perception of the protective coating to the revision of the Regulatory Guidelines by the NRC in July 2000. In other words, maintenance guidelines have been strengthened in order to minimize the clogging of the cooling water system due to the substances in the containment building. Therefore, KHNP, the contractor and operator of the nuclear power plant, plans to develop the coating system for nuclear power plants in accordance with the regulation, and plans to develop its own coating expert.

  • An experimental study to evaluate to evaluate corrosion protection systems was undertaken with 44 reinforced concrete slab specimens subjected to cyclic wet and dry saltwater exposure. Corrosion measurements included monitoring macrocell corrosion currents, which are genrerally accecpted in United States practice. Test results indicate that specimens containing 2 kg/$\textrm{m}^3$ of NaCl and exposed to wet(outdoor) and dry(indoor) conditions but not to saltwater show very low values of corrosion measurements regardless applying any corrosion protective systems. Corrosion currents of the specimens exposed at 10 percent of NaCl were higher than that of the specimen exposed at 5 percent of NaCl, so the density of the salt water had an influential effect on the test. For the specimens with water repellent membrane currents kept relatively low numerical values, but test specimens with surface corrosion inhibitor protective system showed high values of corrosion current. It would be expected that evaluation of the corrosion protective systems need long-term measurement.

  • Recently, There has been growing interest in new renewable energy systems with high-energy efficiency due to the increasing energy consumption and environmental pollution problems, but an insertion of new renewable energy systems to existing power distribution systems can cause several problems such as voltage variations, harmonics, protective coordination, increasing fault current etc, because of reverse power. This paper was applied to Sukumar M, Brahma, A. Girgis[1] proposal schemes and identilys the faulted section performing short-circuit analysis by MATLAB programs to 22.9[kV] distribution system interconnected a large number of new renewable energy system and was analyzed on protective coordination between reclose and Sectionalizer.

  • It is important the protective relay should have high selectivity and sensitivity performance and it is achieved by correct setting of the relay parametes. The verification of accurate setting for the protective relay is very difficult before a actual fault occurs. This paper reports a diagnosis expert system to verify the correctness of the relay setting by using the operation results in the power system fault simulation.

  • In recent years, a lot of research was done for earth fault protection in ungrounded dc power supply system. As a result, selective-breaking integrated protective relaying system is developed in progress and is currently field-testing are planned. Algorithm on a PC using PSCAD done a lot of testing before performing field tests, but in this study developed algorithms and functions needed to determine whether they were operating normally. Therefore, simulated system is similar to the actual situation was required and made. selective-breaking algorithm verification and validation was performed with simulator.

  • In the point of view protective relay, the selectivity and sensitivity is very important in its performance. The correct setting of the relay parameter is required. The verification of accurate setting for the protective relay is very difficult before a actual fault occurs. In this paper, we proposed the diagnosis expert system as a method to verify the correctness of the relay setting. The developed system proved effectiveness through the tests on the real systems.
