디지털 계전기를 이용한 전력감시 및 분산제어 (Power Monitoring and Distributed Control by Digital Relay)

  • In this paper, intelligent methods using digital protection relay in power SCADA system is developed in order to protect power systems by means of timely fault detection during operation and control at starting for induction motor which have various load environments and capacities in power systems. The digital protective relay was designed with DSP CPU(TMS320C31) to protect and measure more quickly and precisely. The test result on the basis of KEMC 1120 and IEC60255, show that the operation time error of the digital motor protection relay is improved within ${\pm}5%$. Also, we can control motors at starting according to starting types with simple method as programmable sequence editor. So we can improve the demerits of high cost and much manhour for rework.

차량용 HDD 의 수동형 진동저감 시스템 설계 (Design of Passive Vibration Attenuation System for a Vehicle HDD)

  • The shock performance of hard disk drives has been a serious issue for Car PC. Since the vibration and disturbances from a car gives an adverse effect on a HDD of Car PC, it is necessary to protect a HDD from them. In this study, passive vibration attenuation system for a vehicle HDD was developed. Acceleration from the ground through the tire and suspension system was measured to figure out the frequency translated to Car PC. Critical frequency to Car PC was determined by exciting it with a shaker and measuring a data transmitting speed from HDD. A newly designed vibration attenuation system was fabricated to protect HDD from the acceleration. It was shown that the developed system had an excellent vibration attenuation ability.

  • Protection martial arts are neither the ability to protect oneself nor the exercise to increase the personal record. Their aim is to protect clients for the sake of their safety, Therefore, it needs special training course distinguished form general martial arts. Those who perform the duty of protection should make efforts to master every skill capable of meeting any situations in which unforeseen accidents may occur. So the coaches of protection martial arts should teach their disciples basic techniques by stages according to each martial art. They also should teach them systematically how to deal with each accidental affair on the ground of protection method. With teaching the way to cope with a crisis coaches might make the disciples feel real by presenting the real situation of different events to which protection arts can be applicable. And a mock exercise with a careful plan and enough practices as well as a mental training to all evaluate the anxiety which might be shown on duty could be helpful for educating elite personnel who will perform the duty of protection completely.

  • The increasing evidence for the involvement of food borne HAs in the aetiology of human cancer has stimulated intense efforts to identify dietary constituents which protect against these compounds. About 280 articles on this topic have been published in the last 20 years, most of them were antimutagenicity studies with indicator cells that require addition of exogenous activation mix. The experimental models do not adequately reflect protective mechanisms that are active in vivo and may give misleading results.(omitted)

  • Digital watermarking techniques are widely applied to protect the integrity and copyright of digital content. In a majority of the literature for watermarking techniques, the watermarked image often causes some distortions after embedding a watermark. For image-quality-concerned users, the distortions from a watermarked image are unacceptable. In this article, we propose a removable watermarking scheme that can restore an original-like image and resist signal-processing attacks to protect the ownership of an image by utilizing the property of singular value decomposition (SVD). The experimental results reveal that the proposed scheme meets the requirements of watermarking robustness, and also reestablishes an image like the original with average PSNR values of 59.07 dB for reconstructed images.

  • 최근 멀티미디어 산업의 팽창과 네트워크 기술의 발전으로 문서, 음성, 사진 및 동영상 데이터 둥의 다양한 컨텐츠들에 대한 저작권 보호의 필요성이 절실히 요구되게 되었다. 현재 사용되는 암호화 기법의 컨텐츠 보호는 디지털 컨텐츠에 대하여 접근이 극히 제한된다는 단점과 한번 암호가 풀린 컨텐츠는 더 이상 보호 할 수 없다는 한계를 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 하나의 수단으로 디지털 워터마킹(Digital Watermark) 기법이 제안 되었다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 워터마크 기술에 대한 표준화, 기술 동향 향후 발전방향등에 대한 국내외 연구 내용을 조사하고 향후 기술적인 동향을 알아본다.

  • With the popularity of smart device, mobile applications are playing more and more important role in people's daily life, these applications stores various information which greatly facilitate the user's daily life. However due to the frequent transmission of data in the network also increases the risk of data leakage, more and more developers began to focus on how to protect user data. Current mainstream development models include Native development, Web development and Hybrid development. Hybrid development is based on JavaScript and HTML5, it has a cross platform advantages similar to Web Apps and a good user experience similar to Native Apps. In this paper according to the features of Hybrid applications, we proposed a security scheme in Hybrid development model implements message-level data encryption to protect user information. And through the performance evaluation we found that in some scenario the proposed security scheme has a better performance.

  • Because information on biological agents in the workplace is lacking, biological hazard analyses at the workplace to securely recognize the harmful factors with biological basis are desperately needed. This review concentrates on literatures published after 2010 that attempted to detect biological hazards to humans, especially workers, and the efforts to protect them against these factors. It is important to improve the current understanding of the health hazards caused by biological factors at the workplace. In addition, this review briefly describes these factors and provides some examples of their adverse health effects. It also reviews risk assessments, protection with personal protective equipment, prevention with training of workers, regulations, as well as vaccinations.

  • Nowadays. risk management in the enterprise is considered as the important activity. Risk management ran be defined as the activity which is the analysis of risk factors related to damages, the estimation of the magnitude of risk, and the determination of investment to protect damage in a company. Initially, risk management was originated in financial areas. But the concept of risk has been expanded in the enterprise. Most companies have extended their activities in various areas. In this tendency, most activities must be considered in supply chain So, risk management must be ronsidered as the concept in the viewpoint of supply chain. The framework of risk management in supply chain and the related mathematical model are represented in this paper. Risk management in supply chain ran provide a positive opportunity not only to protect various damages, but also to improve the relationship between partners.

국제팩토링계약과 한국민법의 개선점에 대한 연구 (A Study on the International Factoring Agreement for Improvement of Korean Civil Law)

  • The trend of payment terms of an international trade has been changed from letter of credit to open account. In this regard factoring has come out to support SMEs in terms of financing on a without recourse basis. However, factoring is in Korea is not workable softly due mainly to legal system affecting smooth assignment of receivables. Therefore this study suggest the following solutions : Korean Civil Law shall be modified to protect factor's position as a right creditor to debtor and protect factor's position when perfection among several creditors are incurred. However, formal modification to this end would not be easy in short run and it is suggested that a special law be established in case a commercial receivable assignment both domestic and internationally happens between seller and factor.
