건축 설계 단계에서 설계지침정보의 공유 및 교환을 위한 IFC 확장모델의 개발 (Development of IFC Modeling Extension for the Exchange and Sharing of Design Guideline Information in the Architectural Design Phase)

  • Architectural design work depends on information made from earlier phases such as feasibility study, planning, and conceptual design. This design guideline information includes design objectives, requirements, and constraints made by decision-making, and has great influence on various works of latter phases of design process. Despite of this cognition, however, the lack of design guideline information management still remains as one among the critical issues in design area. Design tools with design guideline information do not also address the issue of interoperability throughout the life-cycle of buildings. The purpose of this research is to propose a method for design guideline information management by using the IFC technology and IFC Property set (Pset) extension mechanism. The method comprises defining and mapping the practically used design guideline items and extensible IFC data model, and includes the management of relationships that exist between design guideline information and design model in the IFC data model.

사진스캐닝 기술에 의한 매장문화재 기록방법에 대한 연구 (The Study on Recording Method for Buried Cultural Property Using Photo Scanning Technique)

  • 사진스캐닝 기술은 여러 장의 사진정보를 조합하여 대상물을 3차원으로 재구성하는 기술로 3D 스캐너처럼 포인트 클라우드를 생성하고 폴리곤 모델을 생성할 수 있다. 생성된 데이터로는 매장문화재의 3차원 형상뿐만 아니라 2차원 실측에 필요한 평면과 단면 형상정보를 얻을 수 있다. 야외조사 현장에서 이루어지는 매장문화재의 기록은 많은 시간이 필요한데 사진스캐닝 기술은 별도의 장비와 인력이 이중으로 투입될 필요가 없이 조사 직후 유구 정리가 가장 양호한 상태에서 바로 작업을 진행할 수 있다. 또한 사진촬영을 통해 획득된 이미지를 활용하여 3차원 데이터를 구축할 수 있어 경제적인 부담이 적으면서도, 최적의 상태에서 빠르고 간편하게 3차원의 입체형상 정보를 기록화 할 수 있는 기록방법이라고 할 수 있다.

  • 사고대비물질 취급 사업장에서 사고가 발생하면 일반 화학물질사고보다 더 많은 인명, 재산피해를 야기한다. 사고를 예방하기 위해 여러 시스템들과 제도들을 개발하고 있지만, 사고발생의 주원인인 작업자의 오류를 제거 또는 감소시키기 위한 기술들은 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 2012년 9월 구미 불산 누출사고 case study를 통해 국내기술지침들을 기반으로 위험작업 수치화 및 잠재위험확인, 작업평가를 수행하였으며 기존 시스템들을 보완하기 위한 새로운 risk mapping 방법론 개발에 관한 연구를 진행하였다.

인공신경망 기법과 굴진면 관찰자료를 활용한 터널 역해석 연구 (A tunnel back analysis using artificial neural network technique and face mapping data)

  • 터널 설계 시 사용되는 지반물성치는 한정적인 조사 및 시험을 통해 산정되기 때문에 불확실성을 내포한다. 본 연구에서는 최적의 지반물성치를 찾기 위해 터널의 굴진면 관찰자료와 계측자료를 활용하여 인공신경망을 이용한 역해석을 수행하였다. 우선 굴진면 관찰자료를 이용하여 연구대상 터널의 암반등급이 선정되었다. 기존연구에 대한 문헌고찰을 통해서 암반등급별로 지반물성치의 가능한 범위를 지정하여 보다 정확한 학습자료 구축을 위해 활용되었다. 또한 최적의 학습모델을 찾기 위해 은닉층 수와 각 은닉층의 노드 수를 기존연구보다 세분하여 변화시켜가며 매개변수 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과, 기존 연구와 비교했을 때, 보다 정확한 지반물성치를 얻을 수 있었다. 따라서 계측자료 뿐만 아니라 굴진면 관찰자료를 인공신경망을 이용한 역해석에 활용하면 결과의 정확성을 높일 수 있음을 확인하였다. 향후 본 연구에서 제시된 방법론을 사용하여 지반물성치를 보다 정확하게 추정할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

블록단위의 프래탈 근사화를 이용한 영상코딩 (Image Coding by Block Based Fractal Approximation)

  • In this paper, a block based image approximation technique using the Self Affine System(SAS) from the fractal theory is suggested. Each block of an image is divided into 4 tiles and 4 affine mapping coefficients are found for each tile. To find the affine mapping cefficients that minimize the error between the affine transformed image block and the reconstructed image block, the matrix euation is solved by setting each partial differential coefficients to aero. And to ensure the convergence of coding block. 4 uniformly partitioned affine transformation is applied. Variable block size technique is employed in order to applynatural image reconstruction property of fractal image coding. Large blocks are used for encoding smooth backgrounds to yield high compression efficiency and texture and edge blocks are divided into smaller blocks to preserve the block detail. Affine mapping coefficinets are found for each block having 16$\times$16, 8$\times$8 or 4$\times$4 size. Each block is classified as shade, texture or edge. Average gray level is transmitted for shade bolcks, and coefficients are found for texture and edge blocks. Coefficients are quantized and only 16 bytes per block are transmitted. Using the proposed algorithm, the computational load increases linearly in proportion to image size. PSNR of 31.58dB is obtained as the result using 512$\times$512, 8 bits per pixel Lena image.

CAD 수단을 이용한 벡터형 공간자료의 위상 검출과 격자도면화를 위한 유틸리티 개발 (Development of a CAD-based Utility for Topological Identification and Rasterized Mapping from Polygonal Vector Data)

  • The purpose of this study is to develope a CAD-based tool for rasterization of polygonal vector map in AutoCAD. To identity the layer property of polygonal entity with user-defined coordinates as topology, algorithm in processing entity data of selection set that intersected with scan line was used, and the layers were extracted sequentially by sorted intersecting points in data-list. In addition to the functions for querying and modifying topology, two options for mapping were set up to construct plan projection type and to change meshes' properties in existing DTM data. In case of plan projection type, user-defined cell size of 3DFACE mesh is available for more detailed edge, and topological draping on landform can be executed in case of referring DTM data as an AutoCAD's drawing. The concept of algorithm was simple and clear, but some unexpectable errors were found in detecting intersected coordinates that were AutoCAD's error, not the utility's. Also, the routines to check these errors were included in algorithmic processing. Developed utility named MESHMAP was written in entity data control functions of AutoLISP language and dialog control language(DCL) for the purpose of user-oriented interactive usage. MESHMAP was proved to be more effective in data handling and time comparing with GRIDMAP module in LANDCADD which has similar function.

A Real-Time Pattern Recognition for Multifunction Myoelectric Hand Control

  • This paper proposes a novel real-time EMG pattern recognition for the control of a multifunction myoelectric hand from four channel EMG signals. To cope with the nonstationary signal property of the EMG, features are extracted by wavelet packet transform. For dimensionality reduction and nonlinear mapping of the features, we also propose a linear-nonlinear feature projection composed of PCA and SOFM. The dimensionality reduction by PCA simplifies the structure of the classifier, and reduces processing time for the pattern recognition. The nonlinear mapping by SOFM transforms the PCA-reduced features to a new feature space with high class separability. Finally a multilayer neural network is employed as the pattern classifier. We implement a real-time control system for a multifunction virtual hand. From experimental results, we show that all processes, including virtual hand control, are completed within 125 msec, and the proposed method is applicable to real-time myoelectric hand control without an operation time delay.

Assume that every weakly compact convex subset of E has the fixed point property. For $f\;:\;C\;{\rightarrow}\;C$ a contraction and $t\;{\in}\;(0,\;1)$, let $x_t$ be a unique fixed point of a contraction $T_t\;:\;C\;{\rightarrow}\;E$, defined by $T_tx\;=\;tf(x)\;+\;(1\;-\;t)Tx$, $x\;{\in}\;C$. It is proved that if {$x_t$} is bounded, then $x_t$ converges to a fixed point of T, which is the unique solution of certain variational inequality. Moreover, the strong convergence of other implicit and explicit iterative schemes involving the sunny nonexpansive retraction is also given in a reflexive and strictly convex Banach space with a uniformly $G{\hat{a}}teaux$ differentiable norm.

  • In this paper, to analyze the initial valued non-homogeneous elastic half space by the scaled boundary analysis, the infinite element approach was introduced. The free surface of the initial valued non-homogeneous elastic half space was mode1ed as a circumferential direction of boundary scaled boundary coordinate. The infinite element was used to represent the infinite length of the free surface. The initial value of material property(elastic modulus) was considered by the combination of the position of the sealing center and the power function of the radial direction. By use of the mapping type infinite element, the consistent e1ements formulation could be available. The performance and the feasibility of proposed approach are examined by two numerical examples.

  • We proposed a 2-step neural network approach for estimating machining parameters of electric discharge wire cut. The first step net, which is described as a backward neuro-estimation, is designed for estimating coarse cutting parameters while the second phase net, as a polishing forward neuro-estimation, is utilized for determining fine parameters. Sequential estimation procedure, based on backward and forward net, is performed using the net's approximation capability which is M to 1 and 1 to M mapping property. Experimental results an given to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed 2-step neuro-estimation.
