연성보에서 연결 구조에 따른 파동 전달 특성 (Characteristics of Wave Transmission Through Various functions in Coupled Beams)

  • The objective of this paper is to analyze the characteristics of wave transmission through various junctions in coupled beams. The in-plane vibration as veil as the out-of-plane vibration are generated due to the wave conversion at the junctions in the coupled beams. The out-of-plane vibration is associated with propagation of out-of-plane waves (flexural waves). The in-plane vibration is associated with propagation of in-plane waves (longitudinal and torsional waves). In order to effectively reduce vibration and structure-borne noise, it is necessary to understand the characteristics of wave conversion at various junctions in the coupled structures. The numerical results in this paper have showed the characteristics of wave transmission through various junctions in coupled beams. Those could be helpful to designer to develop the idea to reduce vibration and structure-borne noise.

  • In this paper, propagation and damping characteristics of PD pulse in GIS are analyzed using SNM. These characteristics are very important to make a diagnosis and protection of accident in GIS. SNM is numerical method in time domain and very useful method to analyze 3-Dimensional structure such as GIS. GIS modeling is made simply as the form of coaxial cable and then spacers are inserted in it. The scattering and reflection in the GIS are appeared and damping characteristics of PD pulse are shown. When simulation using SNM compare to measurement, two results are similar.

  • This paper presents millimeter-wave (mmWave) propagation characteristics and channel model parameters including path loss, delay, and angular properties based on 28 GHz and 38 GHz field measurement data. We conducted measurement campaigns in both outdoor and indoor at the best potential hotspots. In particular, the model parameters are compared to sub-6 GHz parameters, and system design issues are considered for mmWave 5G Giga communications. For path loss modeling, we derived parameters for both the close-in free space model and the alpha-beta-gamma model. For multipath models, we extracted delay and angular dispersion characteristics including clustering results.

연료희석이단면확대채널에형성된삼지화염의전파속도에미치는영향에관한실험적연구 (An Experimental Study on the Effect of Fuel Dilution on the Propagation Velocity of Triple Flames in a Diverging Channel)

  • When triple flames propagated in a diverging channel, the effects of fuel dilution on the lift-off characteristics of triple flames were investigated. A multi-slot burner was used to stabilize the lift-off flame especially at weak fuel concentration gradients. It was reported that there is a maximum propagation velocity at a critical concentration gradient in an open jet regardless of fuel dilution. The enhancement of a diffusion flame affected to increase the propagation velocity around critical concentration gradients. However, the influence of a confined channel on the structure of triple flames according to fuel dilution needs to be investigated compared with an open jet case. This study aimed to examine the effect of a confined channel on the structure and the propagation velocity of the triple flames according to fuel dilution. Lift-off height and propagation velocity of triple flames were investigated by employing three kinds of fuel compositions diluted by nitrogen (0%, 25%, 50% $N_2$), Fuel dilution reduced the propagation velocity of triple flame in a confined channel mainly due to the decrease of flame temperature in premixed branch. Despite the difference in fuel dilution, the propagation velocity has a maximum value at a specific fuel concentration gradient even though the critical concentration gradient increases with fuel dilution. And the critical concentration gradient in a confined channel is larger than that in an open jet due to enhancement of convective diffusion.

동해에서 난수성 소용돌이의 원거리 음파전달에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Warm Eddy on Long-range Sound Propagation in the East Sea)

  • 동해에는 주변 수온보다 온도가 높은 난수성 소용돌이가 자주 발생되는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이러한 난수성 소용돌이의 발생은 음속구조의 변화를 야기해 음전달특성을 변화시키게 되며, 특히 원거리 음전달에 큰 영향을 줄 것으로 예상된다. 본 논문에서는 난수성 소용돌이가 확인되는 2007년 3월 23일의 수온자료를 재분석한 자료를 이용하여 난수성 소용돌이가 원거리 음전달에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구를 위해 포물선 방정식 모델을 이용해 음파 전달손실과 평균 직접 신호초과 거리를 이용한 탐지거리 성능분포분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 난수성 소용돌이의 존재는 난수성 소용돌이가 존재하지 않을 때와는 매우 다른 음전달 특성을 보여주고 있으며, 특히 난수성 소용돌이의 경계는 음전달의 제한적인 요소가 될 수 있기 때문에 원거리 음전달에 불리할 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 난수성 소용돌이에 의한 원거리 음전달의 제한은 해저 심도가 낮을수록 더 커지는 것을 확인하였다.

식료품 분진의 발화 및 폭발 위험성 (Hazards of Explosion and Ignition of Foods Dust)

  • 식료품 가공 산업에서 분진폭발사고가 자주 발생하고 있으며 배관이나 장치 내의 화염전파에 의한 폭발피해가 증가하고 있다. 그러나 다양한 분체특성으로 인하여 활용 가능한 화재폭발특성자료가 적다는 문제가 있다. 사고발생 빈도가 높고 사회적 수요가 많은 설탕, 옥수수, 밀가루의 발화 위험성과 폭발특성을 실험적으로 조사하였다. 설탕, 옥수수, 밀가루 분진의 평균입경은 27.56, 14.76, $138.5{\mu}m$로 나타났으며 이러한 분체조건에서 열중량분석(TGA) 및 시차주사열량계(DSC)를 사용하여 발화온도를 조사하였다. 최대폭발압력($P_m$) 및 폭발지수는($K_{st}$) 각각 7.6, 7.6, 6.1 bar 및 153, 133, 61 [$m{\cdot}bar/s$]로서 분진폭발 위험성은 설탕이 가장 높고 밀가루가 가장 작았다. 또한 분진폭발 시의 화염전파로 인한 피해확대 위험성을 평가하기 위하여 분진화염전파의 소요시간을 계산하였으며 화염전파로 인한 폭발피해 위험성은 설탕, 밀가루, 옥수수 분진의 순으로 높았다.

  • 도심지역 이동통신에 있어서 전파특성을 정확히 예측ㆍ분석하는 것은 통신 서비스영역의 결정, 최적 기지국 선정, 셀 설계 등에 있어 매우 중요한 사안이다. 이러한 분석에 있어서 사용되는 안테나의 종류, 지향각, 지형지물의 형태에 따라 변화하는 전파예측모델이 정확히 제시되어야 한다. 또한, 선택된 지역에 대하여 셀 설계를 수행하기 전에 기존에 제시된 다양한 모델 중 유사성을 가진 모델을 분석하고 그 파라미터를 측정하여 평가하는 작업을 진행하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 도심지역의 지형 및 장애물 등을 고려한 전파예측모델을 제안하고 그에 따르는 파라미터를 추출하여 분석된 전파환경에 적용하고 그 전파특성을 분석하기 위한 시뮬레이션을 실시하였다. 이러한 과정을 통하여 우리는 주어진 전파환경에 적절한 기지국의 위치, 지형고도, 안테나의 종류 및 높이 등 핵심적인 파라미터들을 원하는 정확도로 추출하였다.

치과용 도재의 균열전파 특성과 도재 -금속간의 응력분석 (AN EVALUATION OF THE CRACK PROPAGATION CHARACTERISTICS OF PORCELAIN AND THE BOND STRESS OF CERAMO-METAL SYSTEM)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of the crack propagation characteristics and bond stress of ceramo-metal system. In order to characterize the crack propagation, the static crack propagation stored in $37^{\circ}C$ distilled water of two commerical porcelains and the dynamic crack propagation under cyclic flexure load of ceramo-metal system were examined. In order to characterize the bond stress, the shear bond test, the 3-point flexure bond test, and the finite element stress analysis of ceramo-metal system were conducted. The results obtained were as follows : 1. Bulk densities and Young's moduli of opaque porcelains increased with repeated firing. 2. Maximum fracture toughness during 4 firing cycles showed at the group of 4 firing cycles in Ceramco porcelain and 2 firing cycles in Vita porcelain. 3. Shear bond strength and flexure bond strength of Ceramco-Verabond specimen were larger than those of Ceramco-Degudent G specimen (p<0.05). 4. Interfacial stresses under three point flexure bond test were concentrated at the edges of ceramometal system. 5. When a cyclic flexure load was applied, the crack growth rate of porcelain surface of ceramometal specimens was decreased as load cycles increased.

Dormancy-breaking and Germination of Chelidonium majus L. subsp. asiaticum H. Hara Seeds by Stratification and Gibberellins

  • The demand for Chelidonium majus L. subsp. asiaticum H. Hara is expected to increase due to its pharmacological properties such as antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects. However, an effective propagation system for this species has not yet been established. This study was conducted to analyze the seed dormancy and germination characteristics of C. majus L. subsp. asiaticum H. Hara native to Korea and establish a mass propagation system. The dormancy type was primarily classified by analyzing the general information of the collected seeds. The seed dormancy breaking was investigated by comparing the effects of cold stratification (0, 2, 4, 8, 10, or 12 weeks) with warm stratification (S, summer temperature, 25/15℃) and intermediate temperature stratification (A, autumn temperature, 15/10℃) of alternating temperature stratification (S12-A4 or S12-A8 weeks). After dormancy break, 500 mg/L GA3 and GA4+7 treatment replaced cold stratification and improved seed germination. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data for future seed propagation and mass propagation by analyzing the dormancy and germination characteristics of C. majus L. subsp. asiaticum H. Hara seeds.

브라운가스의 특성에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Brown Gas)

  • The characteristics of Brown gas was experimentally studied in view of efficiency and flame propagation. For this study, the Brown gas stack with 7 cells was manufactured following the Brown gas related patents and reports. All measuring equipments were re-tested and calibrated by Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS) certified laboratories. Since the amount of produced gas is most crucial in determining the efficiency, we adopted two gas collecting methods such as bottle trap method and wet gas meter method. The energy efficiency of our own fabricated stack was measured to be 75%, which is comparable to general alkaline water electrolysis efficiency. In order to analyze the flame propagation characteristics of Brown gas, we measured the flame propagation pressure, velocity, and shape by using strain type pressure sensor, optical sensor, and high speed camera in conjunction with Schliren system, respectively. From the experimental results, it was found that the flame propagation behavior of Brown gas was almost the same as that of hydrogen and oxygen mixture gas in 2:1 molar ratio. Moreover, from the high speed camera analysis, we concluded that Brown gas flame exhibits explosion behavior as does mixture gas ($H_{2}:O_{2}=2:1$).
