This study relates to develop a quantitative method through which promising technology-based business items can be discovered and selected. For this study, we utilized patent trend analysis, technology-industry concordance analysis, and keyword co-occurrence analysis of US patents. By analyzing patent trends and technology-industry concordance, we were able to find out the emerging industry trends : prevalence of bio industry, service industry, and B2C business. From the direct and co-occurrence analysis of newly discovered patent keywords in the year, 2000, 28 promising business item candidates were extracted. Finally, the promising item candidates were prioritized using 4 business attractiveness determinants; market size, product life cycle, degree of the technological innovation, and coincidence with the industry trends. This result implicates that reliable discovery and selection of promising technology-based business items can be performed by a quantitative, objective and low- cost process using knowledge discovery method from patent database instead of peer review.

In this study, priority setting model of new promising IT industries which will be the growth engines for the Korean IT industry, was established. Based on the AHP model, priority setting of IT new promising IT industries was conducted. Firstly, the selection cases of the new promising IT industries and major priority setting methodologies including the AHP methodology, were analyzed. The AHP model was selected as the most feasible methodology for priority setting of the new IT industries, among the various priority setting methodologies. Secondly, in setting up the AHP model for prioritization of the new promising If industries, a 'goal' was established to be priority setting of the new promising IT industries, and an 'alternatives' to be 18 new promising IT industries. Then a logical and a systematic assessment criteria including 5 main criteria('Technological Innovation', 'Market Ability', 'SPin-off Effect', 'Public Benefit', 'Strategic Importance') and 14 sub-criteria, were developed for priority setting of the 18 new promising industries. Finally, with the AHP model, the substantial analysis was made to set up priority of the 18 new promising IT industries. The substantial analysis showed the following priority setting results and implications for the 18 new promising IT industries.

본 연구는 국내 무인항공기산업과 같은 신성장동력산업의 국제적 기술 경쟁력 확보와 시장성 확보 및 산업성장이 가능한 미래유망 기술을 도출하는 방법론을 제시하는 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 KrKwic, Excel, NetMiner등의 분석 툴을 활용하여 무인항공기산업 분야의 특허데이터를 대상으로 동시출현 단어를 활용한 소셜네트워크분석과 하위그룹분석, 인지지도분석 방법을 제시하였다. 그 결과, '비행조정 기술', '피아식별 기술' 등은 향후 유망한 기술로 선정하여 집중 투자할 필요성이 큰 기술이라 볼 수 있었다.

The world market is being restructured into one global market. The globalization makes the competition m IT industry more vigorous. It is, therefore, the vital procedures that the selection of the promising items among IT equipment and the intensive investment on the selected items to gain the competitiveness in the area of IT global market. With these in mind, in this paper, we introduce a very systematic and objective method which appraises the promise of IT equipment. The method is based on the factor Analysis which is very popular and powerful statistical technique.

This thesis examined and analyzed the occupational status of the promising occupations in the environmental industry. A study on the status of the occupations in the environmental industry is very necessary for planning policies and improving occupations in the environmental industry. Studies and discussions regarding the status of the occupations in the environmental industry, however, were extremely insufficient. A survey of the employees in the environmental industry was conducted in order to certainly comprehend the status of the occupations, educational and training programs, and occupational changes and to utilize the result of the survey as foundational data necessary for occupational studies in the environmental industry. The subject of the survey was limited to the employees who had work for one or more years in twenty promising occupations in the environmental industry. The content of the survey was occupational performance competencies, occupational careers, the degree of occupational satisfaction, vocational education and training, working conditions, occupational changes, and the security of the human resources. Dissimilarities as well as similarities among twenty promising occupations were discovered according to the analysis result of the occupations in the environmental industry. A major discovery was that there are lots of difficulties in securing environment-related human resources. Primary reasons for the difficulties were inconsistent working conditions and the shortage of the qualified human resources. To solve the difficulties in securing the human resources, the curriculum of the educational and the training institutes should be innovated and the human resources from the institutes could be applied to the workplace directly after the graduation.

효과적인 유망기술 발굴을 위해 미래 사회 변화를 전망하고, 미래기술 도출 방법론 및 프로세스 개선 연구가 필요하며, 연구소·기업에서 기술기획에 활용할 기초자료의 필요성이 꾸준히 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 국내 무인항공기산업과 같은 신성장동력산업의 국제적 기술 경쟁력 확보와 시장성 확보 및 산업성장이 가능한 미래유망 기술을 도출하는 방법론을 제시하는 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 KrKwic, Excel, NetMiner등의 분석툴을 활용하여 무인항공기산업 분야의 특허데이터를 대상으로 동시출현 단어를 활용한 소셜네트워크분석과 하위그룹분석, 인지지도분석 방법을 제시하였다. 이를 통해, 무인항공기산업 분야의 기술진화를 탐색하고 유망기술을 예측하는 방법을 제시하였다. 그 결과, '체계연동/통합 기술', '시험평가/감항인증 기술', '항공전자 기술', '비행제어 기술', '피아식별 기술', '비행통제 시스템 기술', '지원장비 기술' 등은 향후 유망한 기술로 선정하여 집중 투자할 필요성이 큰 기술이라 볼 수 있었다.

본 연구는 OLED 조명산업을 대상으로 직관적 방법론을 이용한 R&D 유망 분야 발굴 연구를 수행했다. 이를 위해 국내 조명산업 전문가 69명을 패널로 구성하여 1개월에 걸친 심층면접 및 설문조사를 진행하였다. 본 연구는 OLED 조명산업을 패널, 패널용 소재/부품, 제조장비, 조명시스템의 4개 분야로 대분류하고, 각 분야별로 핵심기술을 선정하여 총 14개의 R&D 가능분야를 세분류했다. 각 분야별 기술경쟁력을 평가한 결과, 우리나라의 기술경쟁력이 가장 높게 평가된 분야는 OLED 패널 분야로 나타났으며, 반면에 OLED 패널용 소재/부품의 기술경쟁력이 낮은 것으로 평가되어 개선책이 요구된다. 한편, 경제성, 정책부합성, R&D 효과성을 종합적으로 평가하여 7개 R&D 유망 분야를 선정했다. OLED 패널의 4가지 핵심기술인 백색, 투명, 색가변, 플렉시블 OLED 패널 제조 기술이 가장 유망한 분야로 평가되었고, 다음으로 면광원용 유기소재, 기판 소재/부품, 대면적 기판형성 장비가 유망 분야로 평가되었다.

방위산업은 최근 방산수출과 연계하여 국가의 주력사업으로 대두되었고 방산분야 중소벤처기업 육성은 국정과제로 진행 중이다. 따라서 방산분야 유망수출품목을 조사하고 합리적인 선정기준을 정하는 것은 방산 중소기업 육성정책을 수립하고 지원하는데 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 타 유사기관 유망품목 선정기준 등 사례연구를 통해 방산 중소기업에 적용 가능한 유망수출품목 선정모형을 제시하였다. 평가지표는 크게 품목 자체 경쟁력, 수출업체 역량, 수출파급효과 등 3가지 평가분야 및 하위 8가지 세부평가항목으로 구성되며, 항목 간 상대적 가중치는 AHP 설문을 통해 산정하였다. 평가 결과 일정 점수 이상시 유망품목 채택 혹은 타당성 검증을 통한 동의 후 채택 등 단계를 두어 유망품목 후보군을 좀 더 면밀히 검토하고 발굴할 수 있는 기준을 제시하였다. 특히, 실제 유망수출품목 발굴업무 시 방산분야 관계자 및 중소기업 종사자들을 대상으로 본 방법론을 적용하여 업무에 적용 중이다. 본 논문에서 제시한 모형은 중소기업 생산품목 중 상대적으로 수출경쟁력이 높고 방산수출에 적합한 우수품목을 신속하게 선별하여 지원하기 위한 효과적 수단으로 활용 가능하다.

Our country's fur clothing industry has rapidly grown for a short time since it started with simple needlework of fur pieces, and now it is still developing as export industry that some enterprises besides general business firm export more than ten million dollars a year. However, it is true that fur clothing industry is still in unsatisfactory level in its size and system, compared with manufacturing or leather industry. Of course, we import crude material and processed fur on an entire base, and we have few wild fur on an entire base, and we have few wild fur animals because of our natural condition and it is hard to breed them. On the other hand, the world's fur industry shows that the demand of fur clothes is increasing as fur animal breeding is improved and developed and supply has become rather abundant with the help of fur clothing fashion since late 19th century : Also, there is a trend that some developed countries depend on importing rather than self-prodoction because of the character-istic of labor-concetntraled fur industry. Accordingly, considering this situation, we can expect fur clothing industry as promising export industry by analyzing the present situation of our country's fur clothing industry and suggesting its problems and solutions, and here are developing plans for growing fur clothing industry as promising export industry. First, smoothing delivery of crude material. Second, making high quality products and diversifying goods. Third, establishing effective competition system in fur clothing industry. Fourth, raising skilled man power. Lastly, there should be coopetation among the related fields in the aspect of policy including the support from the government.

In this paper, we implemented technology assessment on the public R＆D activities in IT field in order to select the promising technologies, so called "star technology," making for national industry development. Technology assessment frame in this study included qualitative factors. IT technologies are classified five sector - network, wireless/broadcasting, SW/application/computer/terminal equipment, semiconductor/component. Expert opinion interviews on each field are carried out. Assessment factors consist of technology usefulness and technology competitiveness. In the final analysis, 23 technology items selected as a promising technologies and the results can be used public R＆D planning and If industry policy.
