건설공사관리체계는 실적자료를 바탕으로 운영되어야 하며, 공사실적을 정확하게 파악하기 위해서는 합리적인 건설공사진도 율 측정기준 및 그에 따른 진도 율 산정방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 건설공사관리체계 구축에 필수적인 건설공사진도율 산정시스템 개발 및 그 시스템의 합리적인 운용 방안을 제시하였다. 그 방법으로서 분할된 단위작업들은 공사 진행에 따라 집행된 내역물량을 기준으로, 상위레벨의 작업범위에 대하여는 실행기성(earned value)을 바탕으로 건설공사의 진도 율을 산정 할 수 있는 시스템(construction progress measurement system; CPMS)을 제시하였다 일반 PC의 Window환경에서 제공되는 프로그래밍 인터페이스(interface) 기능인 ODBC(Open DataBase Connectivity)는 상이한 프로그램간의 데이터 교환을 통해 정보공유를 가능케 하고 있다 본 연구에서 제시하는 건설공사진도 율 산정 시스템은 ODBC를 통해, 상용 일정관리프로그램을 활용해서 생성된 데이터를 그대로 이용하고, 시스템 내에서 생성된 데이터는 일정관리프로그램에 갱신(update)된 정보로 제공된다. 제안된 건설공사진도 율 측정시스템의 실용화를 촉진시키기 위해서는 진도 율 측정에 의한 수치 값을 분석하여 향후 공사의 전망 등을 예측할 수 있어야 하는데 이에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

Due to the increasing importance of technology development project evaluation, many evaluation methods have been developed. However, most project evaluation methods are not directly applicable for evaluating performance improvement projects in a manufacturing system. It is due to the fact that the existing project evaluation methods do not deal with the performance evaluation of the system. This paper deals with performance measurement model of a manufacturing system based on decomposition method and evaluation method for technology development project based on options thinking. A case example is discussed to illustrate the process of the proposed evaluation method.

Recent increases in construction costs on Korean public works projects, largely due to change orders caused by poorly elaborated design, become a motivation of applying VE process in Korean construction industry. The Seoul Toll Plaza project, recently value analyzed by four VE teams, demonstrates how value management helps save time, money and increase functional performance. The objective of this project is to upgrade and expand existing pay and ticket booths system on "Kyungboo Express Highway", the main artery for the Korean peninsula linking Seoul to Pusan. The value management study generated several innovate alternatives capable of saving up to 50% of project cost from the baseline project plan.

오늘날 우리나라의 건설산업은 변화의 한복판에 서 있다. 건설산업은 점차 대형화, 전문화, 고도화되어 가고 있으며 타 산업과의 융합 또한 빠른 속도로 진행되고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 이해관계자들이 참여하는 건설사업의 프로젝트 수행과정 평가의 투명성과 객관적 평가방법에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있으며 발주자 및 고객의 니즈(Needs)는 보다 구체화 되고 있다. 그 수준 또한 높아지고 있어 프로젝트의 성공 여부를 판단하기 위한 객관적 평가기준을 필요로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 건설사업 성과측정 시스템 분석을 통해 문제점을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 고객만족 등의 정성적 평가부분을 포함한 사후평가에 대한 영향요인을 분석하여 새로운 성과측정 시스템을 제시하고자 한다.

Indonesian construction companies are currently facing high competition both among themselves and with global construction companies. In order to address this issue, the Government of Indonesia has enacted specific regulations and policies relating to the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMSs) ISO 9001 based in construction, acknowledging that the consistency of construction project quality requires a formal quality system as a guarantee to raise quality standards at all project stages. The research has been undertaken to examine the effectiveness of the regulations and policies against several key performance indicators (KPIs) of the ISO 9001 Indonesian construction companies. A comprehensive review of the relevant regulations and policies together with interviews with the Government and National Construction Services Development Board recommend possible additional guidelines and supporting quality system, which intends to measure contractors' project output against defined standards as well as to assess their performance among other similar service providers. The outcomes of the research contribute to the development of the Indonesian own construction industry quality measurement and assessment system.

건설프로젝트는 현장여건의 변화와 불확실성으로 신뢰성 높은 계획을 수립하기 힘들고 따라서 건축시공시뮬레이션 시스템의 도입으로 그러한 문제점을 해결하고 신뢰성 높은 계획을 수립하려는 노력을 보이고 있다. 그러나 현시점의 시뮬레이션 시스템은 단순 애니메이션 용도로만 사용되고 실제 엔지니어링 업무를 지원하는 경우도 드물다. 최근 들어 이러한 한계점을 탈피하고 보다 시뮬레이션 시스템을 보다 적극적으로 사용하기 위한 연구와 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 BIM의 가장 핵심이 업무 효율성이라는 점에서 이러한 BIM기반 건축시공시뮬레이션시스템 등의 BIM기반 시스템은 성능 분석이 매우 필요한 요소라고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위하여 시뮬레이션의 핵심 업무 프로세스를 정의하고 표준 시나리오를 정의하여 이를 기준으로 성능을 분석하는 방법론을 제시함으로써 좀 더 효율적이고 적극성을 갖춘 시뮬레이션 시스템 개발을 가능하게 하고자 한다.

Wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA), high speed packet access (HSPA) and HSPA+ are third generation partnership project (3GPP) standards. These systems are the major wireless communication standards. In order to test the performance of WCDMA/HSPA/HSPA+ signal in a base station, the measurement hardware is required to the evaluation of the transmitted signals. In this paper, the algorithm for the performance measurement of the WCDMA/HSPA/HSPA+ is proposed. Also, the performance of the measurement algorithm is used to evaluate the generated signal by the WCDMA/HSPA/HSPA+ signal generator. Generally, the algorithm of normal modems cannot be applied to the measurement system because the signal measurement equipment needs to guarantee the high accuracy. So, the WCDMA/HSPA/HSPA+ signal measurement algorithm for the accurate measurement is proposed. By the simulation, it is confirmed that the proposed measurement algorithm has good performance compared with the specification. Therefore, the proposed algorithm can be usefully applied to verify the performance of the measurement using the simulation.

The purpose of this study is to test empirically the effect of Islamic business ethics and market conditions on organizational performance in state-owned construction companies in Indonesia. Data collection in this study was conducted online and the total number of data used was 81 respondents, both directors, heads of departments, and managers (general and project). This study uses a partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) with a quantitative approach that aims to test hypotheses and relationships between variables, such as Islamic business ethics, market conditions, project management, organizational culture, competitive strategy, and organizational performance. This study shows Islamic business ethics has a significant direct effect on organizational performance. Market conditions do not have a direct significant effect on organizational performance. Meanwhile, the mediating variables of project management and competitive strategy have a significant direct effect on organizational performance. Organizational culture does not have a significant influence on organizational performance. Conversely, market conditions have a significant influence through the mediating variables of project management and competitive strategy on organizational performance. Besides, this study is an attempt to determine the impact of the criteria factors affecting the measurement of the performance of construction organizations in Indonesia in terms of the external environment and organizational structure.

In the new web based learning environment which has recently emerged, a variety of new learning objectives and teaching methods suited to this learning environment have been adopted. Recently, web based project-based learning methods have received a great deal of attention from those wishing to improve learning performance. The objective of this study is to identify the impact of characteristics of communication media and instruction behavior on collaborative interaction and project performance through web based group projects. The characteristics of communication media were divided into richness, flexibility, and ease of use, and the characteristics of instruction behavior were divided into support and expression, which are independent variables. Collaborative interaction as a mediate variable, was divided into information sharing and negotiation. Project performance was the dependent variable. To verify the proposed research model empirically, an experiment was conducted in which learners participated in on-line and off-line courses with group projects. The group project was conducted virtual product development(VPD), and designed a web-site about the VPD. At the end of the project, a survey was conducted. Of the 270 students, 239 responded. The students were assigned to groups of 3 or 4 members, and represented different genders and levels of computer competence. The reliability, validity, and correlation of research variables were analyzed using SPSS 14.0, and the measurement model and the structural goodness-of-fit of the research model were verified through SEM analysis using Lisrel 8.54. We found important results as follows; First, richness and ease of use has positive impacts on each of sharing information and negotiation. This suggests that richness and ease of use are useful in sharing information which is related to the task and agreeing in opinions among group members. However, flexibility has not positive impacts on sharing information and negotiation. This implies that there is no great difference in performance of PC and information literacy of user. Second, support and expression of instructor have positive impacts on sharing information and negotiation. This indicates that instructors play an important role in encouraging learners to participate in the project and communicating with them, sharing information related to the project, making a resonable decision and finally leading them to improve a project performance. Third, collaborative interaction has a positive impact on project performance. This result shows that if the ability to share information and negotiate among students was improved then a project performance would be improved as well. Recently, in the state of revitalized web based learning, it is opportune that web-based group project is practically conducted, and the impact of characteristics of communication media and characteristics of instruction behavior on sharing information, negotiating among group members and improving a project performance is verified. On the basis of these results, we propose that forms of learning, such as web based project, could be one of solution which is to enforce interaction among learners, and ultimately improve learning performance. Moreover web-based group project is able to make up for a weakness which makes it difficult to make interpersonal relations or friendship among learners in computer mediated communication or web based learning.

In a very competitive construction business environment there is a need to measure and manage business performance across a wider spectrum of business success criteria. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and Triple Bottom Line (TBL) reporting concepts are emerging as champions in the race for sustainable business success. The construction business organisations are often judged based on their financial performance as well as wider performance. This paper aims at developing a universally accepted tool for assessing contractors' wider business performance in the construction industry. A prototype of web-based business performance measurement system has been developed to help contractors assess their own performance aimed at uplifting their performance. The consultants/clients can also use the tool to measure contractors' performance in a value-based contractor selection. The system was developed based on the research conducted among 63 senior construction professionals and therefore further research with the participation of a large number of managers across different countries and also an upgrade of the system will be required.
