Transformation Methodology : From the Farmer Model To Component Interface meta Model

  • A fundamental tenet of CBD is that a component has a specification which describes what that component does, and how it behaves when its services are used. In general, the implementation may be written in a different programming language and execute on different technology platform, from the language and platform used by the client program. In order to implement practically the system that is designed by the Farmer model, there is need to have the ISM (Interface Specification Model) which explains specification about the functions of entities of the Farmer model, such as, entity node, aspect node and ILB/OLB. This paper suggests the transformation methodology from the concepts of the Farmer model to the mapping notions of the ISM. Also in reality, TMN agents system which is designed by the Farmer model is transformed to the ISM system design.

  • 재사용성과 확장성을 높이는 객체지향 개발이 보편화되면서 새로운 소프트웨어를 개발할 경우 기 개발되어 검증된 객체지향 산출물을 재사용함으로써 개발기간을 단축하고 품질을 향상할 수 있다. 이렇게 성능이 검증된 기 개발된 객체지향 산출물을 이용하여 컴포넌트 기반 모델로 변환하면 짧은 기간에 고품질의 컴포넌트 기반 시스템을 구축할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이미 개발되어 있는 객체지향 설계 모델을 이용하여 컴포넌트 기반 설계로 변환하되 변환의 정확성을 위해 정형명세 기법을 사용한다. 컴포넌트 기반 설계를 정형명세하기 위해 컴포넌트 정형명세 언어를 정의한다. 그리고 객체지향 설계의 정적, 동적, 기능적 측면을 정형명세 언어 Object-Z를 사용하여 정형명세하는 기법을 제시한 후, 객체지향 정형명세를 컴포넌트 정형명세로 변환하는 기법을 제시한다. 사례연구는 제시된 변환 기법을 적용하여 객체지향 정형명세가 컴포넌트 기반 정형명세로의 변환과정을 설명한다.

  • 소프트웨어 개발자와 사용자에게 직면한 가장 중요한 문제는 프로그래밍 시스템 의 크기와 개발 노력의 예측이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 자료 흐름도, 자료 사 전, 소단위 명세서로 구성된 구조화 명세서에 관한 각각의 특성을 정의하고, 구조화 명세서의 정량적인 평가 요소를 프로그램 메트릭스에 적용하였다. 또한 구조화 명세 서를 구성하는 자료 흐름도에 관해서는 정량적인 평가 실험을 하였다. 그 결과 상위 공정의 분석 단계에서의 산출물에 의한 하위 공정에 관한 공수 예측 모델을 제안한다.

  • It is noteworthy that IMT -2000 communication network based on All-HP/AIN(Advanced Intelligent Network) should accomodate current and future wire/wireless AIN service easily through integration and gearing AIN construction elements. In this paper. Intelligent Farmer model(I-Farmer Model) and methodology are suggested in order to solve the several problems including standardization on implementation of Q3 interface in Telecommunication Management Network(TMN) agents which is caused by heterogeneous platform environment and future maintenance. Also this paper proposes ITI algorithm transforming the system which is designed by I-Farmer model to Interface Specification Model(ISM) applying the I-Farmer model. In addition to ITI algorithm. we suggest NTS(Node to SIB) algorithm converting entity node and ILB/OLB component in agent system designed by the I-Farmer model to SIB of AIN GFP(Global Functional Plane) and to ASIB for application program.

Ada 프로그램에서 패키지 활용의 국부화 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on Localization Model of Package Usage in Ada Program)

  • Software system is a hierarchical structure with collection of program units. Software system can import external packages globally or locally depending on the usage within a system. If the imported package is used globally, the soft-ware system can be influenced globally by any change of package and programmer's debugging time for the program maintenance will be greater. To solve these problems, it is desirable to use the imported package locally right on the usage point within the system. The model presented in this paper analyzed entity usage of package in structure of program, identified the usage level to obtain localization and provided information for restructure of the program to localize package usage. To obtain localization, it identified declared entities inside the imported package and analyzed the specification and body part of program unit to identify entities referenced from the imported package. The proposed model can be used to improve the maintainability of software system and contributed to reduction of programmer's debugging time in program maintenance.

  • This paper describes a methodology for the development of models of discrete event system. The methodology is based on transformation of continuous state space into discrete one to homomorphically represent dynamics of continuous processes in discrete events. This paper proposes a formal structure which can coupled discrete event system models within a framework. The structure employs the discrete event specification formalism for the discrete event system models. The proposed formal structure has been applied to develop a discrete event specification model for the complex spectral density analysis of strip for urin analyzer system. For this, spectral density data of strip is partitioned into a set of Phases based on events identified through urine spectrophotometry. For each phase, a continuous system of the continuous model for the urine spectral density analysis has been simulated by programmed C++. To validate this model, first develop the discrets event specification model, then simulate the model in the DEVSIM++ environment. It has the similar simulation results for the data obtained from the continuous system simulation. The comparison shows that the discrete event specification model represents dynamics of the urine spectral density at each phase.

라디에이터용 납작관의 최적형상 도출을 위한 열.유동해석 (Flow and Thermal Analyses for the Optimal Specification of Flat Tube at Radiator)

  • The flow and thermal phenomena in flat tubes of radiator are analyzed numerically. To predict the characteristics of heat transfer and pressure drop, the flow analysis program for three-dimensional complex geometry is developed, which adopted an non-staggered grid system and Cartesian velocities as dependent variables of the momentum equations. Using the developed program, the effect of tube specifications on the heat transfer characteristics is investigated for various flat tubes. From this study, the following results are obtained; (1) For the same hydraulic diameter($D_h{\doteq}5.2$mm), the Nusselt numbers of three basic modeis(D, J, and H-model) are 8.71, 8.92, and 10.58, respectively, and the pressure drops of D-, J-, and H-model are predicted as $-3.08{\times}10^{-2}\;Pa,\;-3.12{\times}10^{-2}\;Pa,\;and\; -3.98{\times}10^{-2}$ Pa, (2) In case of the same flat tube specification, the fins must be brazed at upper tube surface because the heat is more vividly transferred. Therefore, it is found that the H- model is the most effective tube as a heat exchanger and these results are used as a fundamental data for the design of tube.

LTS 명세 검증을 위한 모델 검증기 개발 (A Study on Implementation of Model Checking Program for Verifying LTS Specification)

  • 본 논문은 LTS 프로세스 명세 검증을 위해 프로토콜의 행위와 상태에 대한 deadlock, livelock, reachability, liveness 검증을 위한 모델 검증기 구현에 대해 기술하였다. Modal mu-calculus를 사용하여 구현된 모델 검증기는 modal logic으로 표현된 프로토콜 특성이 LTS 명세하에서 만족하는지를 자동적으로 검증해 주는 model checking 도구이고 LTS 명세의 Safety와 Liveness 검증에 매우 강력한 성능을 보이는 것을 구현을 통해 실험적으로 증명하였다. 제시된 도구는 Windows NT 환경하에서 IBM PC로 $C^{++}$언어를 사용하여 구현되었다.

Implementation of a Simulation Model for a Local Area Network Design

  • This thesis provides the implementation of a simulation model for a particular Local Area Network (LAN), employs carrier sense multiple access (CSMA) bus architecture, which implements functions of the Stock Point Logistics Integrated Communication Environment (SPLICE). First, specifications of the model are identified based on the given functional specification and operating system design. Then the approach taken for modeling and programming in GPSS is discussed. Finally, the program and results of the simulation run are provided.
