Factors Related to the Output of Health Centers (보건소의 사업성과에 관련된 요인)

  • This study was conducted to identify the factors that affect the output of health conters. An analystical model employed in this study was developed by modifying 'input-output model' and 'organizational behavior model'. Data were collected form two source; the 1995 report of thealth center which was submitted to the Ministry of Health and Welfare and a mail survey questionary of officers at health center, including 66 directors and 1,768 staffs of the health centers in southern region. The major findings are as follows: That analysis has identified the factors associated with dependent variables: medical services provided by the health center and health program performance(HPP). The number of primary medical facilities was negatively associated with health center performance while the number of staffs, job satisfaction, and professional background of health center directors were positively associated. These independent variables accounted for 40.1% of the variance of dependent variables. The variance of HPP was significantly explained by the number of health subcenter and primary health post, priority level of public health program by hief executive officers(CEOs) and legislator. A significant relationship was found between leadership types of health center directors and the performance of maternal and child health program. Considering these results, the authors suggested that the role in medical care service of health center in the should be rearranged at local level because medical care service of the health center is competing with primary medical facilities in the same region. It is also suggested that educational efforts be made to improve leadership of the health center directors and concern with public health program by the CEOs and legislators of local governments.

  • In this paper, NCTOP is an interactive NC auto programming system for two-dimensional machining. NCTOP consists of seven modules, that is pattern form input, free form input, AutoCAD interface, logic processing, postprocessor processing, output, and database upgrade module. The geometry information of a workpiece to be machined is put into NCTOP program. Then it generates NC program which is final output. NCTOP uses the machining dates from the data base.

Productivity effects of Hanwoo genetic improvement program

  • A genetic improvement program in Korea was implemented to improve the performance of Hanwoo cattle by generating livestock with genetically desirable economic characteristics. In particular, in response to external changes, such as the expansion of Free Trade Agreement (FTA), the livestock genetic improvement program has increased farm income by improving the productivity and quality of Hanwoo cattle. Using production cost data from Statistics Korea, the total input and output indices of Hanwoo feeding cattle from 2008 - 2021 were estimated and the growth and productivity changes were analyzed. The productivity change measures results were used to estimate the cumulative effects of the Hanwoo genetic improvement program on quality improvement, another purpose of the program, using a finite distributed lag model. The average annual increase in output (market weight) of Hanwoo was 0.9%. However, total input increased by 1.6%, resulting in a 0.6% decline in total factor productivity. In contrast, the Hanwoo genetic improvement program contributed significantly to the production of high quality beef, rather than contributing to improved productivity of the cattle. Hanwoo carcass weight, which is used as a performance indicator for the livestock genetic improvement program, has significantly improved and is projected to increase at a slower rate. The collective findings indicate the need for new performance indicators that can comprehensively indicate the performance of the genetic improvement of Hanwoo.

  • Sine CAM structure is regular structure as that of RAM of PLA, CAM generator program is easy to implement. This program outputs CAM layout in the form of CIF(Caltech Intermediate Format) and graphic display program is debugging or displaying CAM generator output, which are implemented on PC/AT with MS C(5.0) graphic library and C language. CIF parser is programmed with YACC(Yet Another Compiler Compiler) and LEX (Lexical Analyzer) in order to flat the CIF data. For the purposed of plotting the layout output using ROLAND XY plotter is developed. By combining these program described above, from CIF generation to layout plotting can be executed on pull-down menu according to user's option.

  • This paper presents a programmable single-phase ac power source that provides a sinusoidal output voltage with an adjustable output amplitude and frequency over a wide range as well as an arbitrary waveform. The ac power source under consideration have a linear power amplifier. The desired output values can be programmed with a personal computer. The power source operates at 220[V]/60[Hz] mains and the output voltage is isolated from the input circuit. The system consists mainly of a power converter to generate and amplify the waveform signal, a controller to control the desired output signal and measure the output parameters, and a control program to set the desired output and display the values. The prototype ac power source was constructed and tested with the results demonstrating a good performance.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of a 5kW programmable three-phase harmonic generator, which is capable of generating sinusoidal output voltages with adjustable output amplitude and frequency over a wide range as well as arbitrary waveforms. The considered harmonic generator is a linear power amplifier type. This system consists mainly of a power converter to generate and amplify waveform signals, a controller to control the desired output signal and measure the output parameters including voltage and current, and a control program to set the desired output and display the output values. The prototype programmable three-phase harmonic generator has been constructed and tested. Test results show that the developed programmable three-phase harmonic generator performs well.

  • LLC resonant converter is used to control laser power density in ruby laser power supply. Zero voltage switching(ZVS) is implemented to minimize the switching loss by the LLC resonant converter. Laser output power is investigated and experimented by changing the output current. That current is controled by the charging voltage of capacitor. From those results, we obtained the maximum laser output of 1.94J at the discharge current of 860A and the pulse repetition rate of 1Hz.

An Electrical Repair Circuit for Yield Increment of High Density Memory (고집적 메모리의 yield 개선을 위한 전기적 구제회로)

  • Electrical repair method which has replaced laser repair method can replace defective cell by redundancy’s in the redundancy scheme of conventional high density memory. This electrical repair circuit consists of the antifuse program/read/latch circuits, a clock generator a negative voltage generator a power-up pulse circuit a special address mux and etc. The measured program voltage of made antifuses was 7.2~7.5V and the resistance of programmed antifuses was below 500 Ω. The period of clock generator was about 30 ns. The output voltage of a negative voltage generator was about 4.3 V and the current capacity was maximum 825 $mutextrm{A}$. An antifuse was programmed using by the electric potential difference between supply-voltage (3.3 V) and output voltage generator. The output pulse width of a power-up pulse circuit was 30 ns ~ 1$mutextrm{s}$ with the variation of power-up time. The programmed antifuse resistance required below 44 ㏀ from the simulation of antifuse program/read/latch circuit. Therefore the electrical repair circuit behaved safely and the yield of high densitymemory will be increased by using the circuit.
