  • This study investigates the importance of professional models in the promotion of the corporate brand attitude through differentiated marketing strategies in the saturated low-cost carrier (LCC) aviation market. The attributes of professional models affect brand attitude and brand loyalty. The study seeks to identify the factors affecting brand loyalty through the contribution of professional models. The empirical analysis is based on a questionnaire survey conducted online and off line over a seven-month period, from January to July 2019. Some 292 valid samples could be used. The study conducted a positive factor analysis using AMOS 18.0 and a reliability analysis using SPSS 18.0. Reliability of measurement tools was performed using Cronbach's alpha. The attributes of professional models relating to airline advertising include: reliability, attractiveness and expertise. These attributes are shown to have a significant impact on brand attitude and brand loyalty toward LCCs. The findings reveal that reliability and expertise have a significant influence on the brand attitude and the formation of brand loyalty. Professional models' attractiveness has no significant impact on brand attitudes and brand loyalty. The mediating effect of professional models' attributes on the relationship between brand attitude and brand loyalty also show a significant positive effect.

  • Purpose: The effects of learning styles and nursing professional attitude on the problem-solving ability among nursing students were explained. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was performed with 245 nursing students who completed self-report questionnaires between April 14 and May 7, 2014. Results: The dominant learning styles of the nursing students were assimilating (33.9%) and diverging (33.1%), with converging (11.4%) being the least dominant. Nursing professional attitude in the nursing students was high (mean 65 out of 80). Problem-solving ability in the nursing students was high (mean 159 out of 225), especially among seniors. The relationship between learning styles and problem-solving ability in nursing students was not statistically significant (F=2.44, p=.065), even though nursing students with converging learning style had higher problem-solving ability than nursing students with other learning styles. The problem-solving ability of nursing students was influenced by nursing professional attitude, being a senior and preference for discussion. These variables explained 16.9% of the variance in problem-solving ability. Nursing professional attitude with 12.3% was the most influential. Conclusion: The problem-solving ability of nursing students was more influenced by nursing professional attitude than by learning styles. Therefore, we suggest strategies to develop a positive nursing professional attitude that leads to promoting the problem-solving ability of nursing students.

  • This study is a descriptive research on the subjects of hospital nurses to investigate the effect of job satisfaction and fatigue on their nursing professional attitudes. The subjects were 262 nurses working at five general hospitals in J and S cities. Data collection was conducted from December 2014 to January 2015 using structured questionnaires on job satisfaction, fatigue and nursing professional attitudes. As a result of the study, nurses' nursing profession attitude was high in 30 year old and married nurses, and in clinical experience of either less than a year or more than six years, and nurses' nursing profession attitude was higher in charge nurses and head nurses than in general nurses. The most influential factors affecting the nursing professional attitude were job satisfaction, clinical career, and fatigue in that order. These findings provide theoretical evidence to explain the importance of job satisfaction and fatigue variables in influencing factors on nursing professional attitude. Therefore, in clinical practice, it is necessary to develop and implement an education program to improve nursing professional attitudes by considering nurses' job satisfaction, clinical career and fatigue level.
