International Standardization Analysis for Environmental Management and Labelling (국제환경경영 표준화와 환경라벨링의 동향)

  • Today, as globalization continues and international trading blocks are formed, world markets are intensely competitive and abound in product variety, volume, complexity and environmental management. Specifically, green consumer's needs and expectations are changing and diversifying, resulting in a changed global environment for industry. Due to these changes, domestic companies are striving to achieve the Environmental Management System (ISO 14000) certification. This is considered a basis step in meeting the guiding principle and practice of ISO/TC 207/SC 3 resolution. In this paper, we will present three type(I, II, III) of Environmental Labelling programs to build a model for environmental management system by analysing practitioner and stakeholder. After companies establish an ISO 9000 quality system these companies should focus on improve toward their own Environmental Labelling program and continue to build ISO 14000.

  • It is prescribed for the controls layout of agricultural tractors to offer a comfortable workspace in ISO 4253 as international standard. To export other country to the Korea agricultural tractor, it needs to come up to the nation standard. The objective of the study is to investigate for location of control operation of the Korea agricultural tractor after applying the ISO 4253, to know whether it suits or not the nation standards with the tractor of product and supply within the country. As the research result of Korea agricultural tractor, Controls position of them are few in zone of comfort which defined in ISO 4253 and escapes lots in the zone of reach.

  • Remanufacturing is an industrial manufacturing process. The merits of remanufacturing are to reuse old products to perform like a new product and to save energy, natural resources, landfill space and to reduce air pollution by less re-smelting. This paper proposes a systemic approach for activating the domestic remanufacturing industry. The approach is based on inside and outside regulations to apply remanufacturing companies. And, we analyzed the state and problems of remanufacturing industry for automobile parts. Also 5 essential tactics and 20 detail strategies are suggested. On the basis of the approach, the domestic remanufacturing industry will carry out the cooperation for their competitions.

  • The purpose of this study is to present HACCP management method for improving customer satisfaction in bakery industry. As a study method, literature review on HACCP and customer satisfaction and developing questionnaires through model design were done. Then, a survey was done to 209 customers who had experiences of visiting small size bakeries in Seoul or the national capital region. It was then statistically analyzed and examined. In conclusion, even though the respondents showed positive expectation that the certification of HACCP will have an effect on the factors of customer satisfaction like brand image, quality of product and service, facility and physical environment and so on, but as we proved in the course of study model's hypothesis confirmation, actually, current promoting efforts and strategies of the government or related institutions to spread recognition of HACCP don't have an meaningful effect on the factors of customer satisfaction.

  • In the Korean domestic construction field, there are a lot of problems related to construction information exchange and sharing owing to the absence of construction drawing information exchange standard. To remedy the aforementioned inefficiency effectively, it is necessary to apply the STEP standard which is known as an international standard for achieving the establishment of Construction CALS. This study focus on suggesting a methodology to activate the STEP based construction drawing information exchange standard to the current construction drawing information exchanging and sharing practice. In this paper, the domestic and foreign standardization projects related to the construction drawing information have been investigated and analyzed. In addition, a methodology of applying and activating the STEP standard has been suggested. Finally, a verification and certification methodology for applying the CALS/EC construction drawing information exchange standard(STEP) have been suggested.

  • 소프트웨어 개발 응용 패러다임이 분산 환경 기반을 두면서 보안 문제가 매우 중요시되고 있다. 정보통신 제품이나 시스템을 개발할 경우 보안에 대한 평가를 위해서 표준화된 요구사항들의 목록으로 공통평가기준이 정의되어 있다. 공통기준에서 고려되어야할 결함 교정에서 구체적인 절차와 결함 항목의 식별, 속성, 행위 정의가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어공학 프로세스에서 보안측면을 고려하여, 생명주기의 자원과 프로세스에서 결함 추적 및 교정을 위한 기능적, 비기능적인 엔티티와 이를 기반으로 한 프로세스를 제안한다. 즉, 생명주기를 통한 개발과 평가를 지원하고, 개발자와 평가자에게 고려해야할 기준 이외에 생명주기 상에서의 자원 처리의 유무나 중요도 제공이 가능하다. 결함 추적과 교정을 위한 엔티티 적용에 대한 부가적인 비용과 노력을 감소시키고 정보보호 제품 개발과 밀접하게 연관된 결함을 검증하고 교정함으로써 제품의 개발과정의 신뢰성을 제공하고 생명주기 관리의 효율성을 증가시키고자 한다.

Test Witness Methodology for Acquisition of the Composite Material Qualification Data (복합재 재료인증을 위한 시험입회 방법론)

  • Since the late 1990's, FAA, NASA and the aerospace industry have worked together to develop the sharing system of the composite material qualification databases which were obtained through the standardized fabrication and testing procedures. The result was what is now known as the AGATE(Advanced General Aviation Transport Experiments) or NCAMP(National Center for Advanced Materials Performance) methodology, a more cost-effective concept that shifts the major responsibility for qualification and testing from the aircraft manufacturer to the material supplier. The properties of composite materials are largely dependent on the testing as well as the raw material properties and the manufacturing process including the process control parameters. Thus it is important in the composite material qualification to comply with the standardized testing procedures. In this paper, I will describe the standardized witness methodologies of certification engineers to reduce the effect of testing variability within the qualification data.

  • As technology has developed, companies in Korea change the object which improve the quality of product to meet customer satisfaction not to produce products more. While companies are trying to follow the international standard for quality assurance or obtain certification, outside verification and work by trusting is temporary. This research suggested organization composition and role for assuring quality of company through researching for ISO9000 and organization.

  • This paper analyses how technological capabilities and entrepreneurship of technology-based start-ups affect their performance. In this paper, a multiple regression analysis was conducted on 248 technology-based start-ups. The effects of indicators of technological capacity like R&D intensity, R&D organization, technology competitiveness, patents, and certification were analyzed. Factors affecting sales were R&D intensity and technological competitiveness. Technology competitiveness and patents were the significant factors influencing product competitiveness. The factor that positively influenced organizational performance, customer performance, and achievement of start-up goals was technological competitiveness. The results of such an analysis should be designed to discover and foster long-term innovation potential, rather than relying on short-term financial performance.

  • This study examines the performance of the pre-treatment process system to use CGS, a by-product generated in IGCC, as a concrete fine aggregate for construction materials, on the quality of CGS fine aggregate. As a result of the analysis, it is judged that the quality of fine aggregates of CGS can be improved at both density, absorption rate, and 0.08mm body passage amount after the hydroelectric screening process using water as a medium during the pretreatment process. It is believed that it can be used as basic data for national standard certification of CGS fine aggregates in the future.
