Contact material is widely used in the field of electrical parts. Ag-CdO material has a good wear resistance and stable contact resistance. In order to establish optimizing heat treatment condition, rolling temperature and oxidation process, we studied the microstructure of Ag-CdO material with various conditions. The experimental procedure were melting using high frequency induction, heat treatment, rolling and internal oxidation. And we experimented on difference process, Post-oxidaion. In this study, we obtained the optimizing heat treatment condition was $700^{\circ}C$ for 15 min. and the optimizing rolling temperature was $730^{\circ}C$. In investigation of the microstructure of oxidized material, coarse oxide and depleted oxidation layer existed. The hardness was average Hv 70. When we used Post-oxidation, oxides were finer than prior process and depleted oxidation layer did not exist. The hardness of Post-oxidation material was average Hv 80. And the optimizing rolling temperature was $800^{\circ}C$.
In the present investigation, we are newly developing a new forming process which can fabricate micro patterns on large-area polymeric substrates for high speed mass production. The key idea of the new process is to pressurize multiple vacuum-packed substrate-mold stacks above the glass transition temperature ($T_g$) of the polymeric substrates. The new process is thought to be promising micro-pattern fabrication technique in three aspects; firstly, isostatic pressing ensures the uniform micro-pattern replicating condition regardless of the substrate area. Secondly, the control of forming condition such as temperature and pressure can realize well-defined process condition exploited in the conventional hot embossing research field. Thirdly, multiple substrates can be patterned at the same time. A prototype forming machine for the new process was developed with the design consideration realizing the present idea. With a developed machine, micro prismatic array patterns with 50 um in size were successfully made on the $380{\times}300{\times}6\;mm$ PMMA plate.
A batch and a continuous type experiments were conducted to test the conditions for simultaneous phosphorus release and uptake, and denitrification, taking place in one process. The bacteria able to denitrify as well as to remove phosphorus were evaluated for the application to biological nutrient removal(BNR) process. In the batch-type experiment, simultaneous reactions of phosphorus release and uptake, and also denitrification were observed under anoxic condition with high organic and nitrate loading. However the rate and the degree of P release were lower than that occurred under anaerobic condition. BNR processes composed of anaerobic-anoxic-oxic(AXO), anoxic-anaerobic-oxic(XAO) and anoxic-oxic(XO) were operated in continuous condition. The anoxic reactors in each process received nitrate loading. In the AXO process, P release in anaerobic reactor and the luxury uptake in oxic reactor proceeded actively regardless to nitrate loading. However in XAO and XO processes, P release and luxury uptake occurred only with the nitrate loading less than $0.07\;kg{NO_3}^--N$/kgMLSS-d. With higher nitrate load, P release increased and the luxury uptake decreased. Therefore, it appeared that the application of denitrifying phosphorus-removing bacteria (DPB) to BNR process must first resolve the problem with decrease of luxury uptake of phosphorus in oxic reactor.
Doping process of crystalline silicon solar cell process is very important which is as influential on efficiency of solar. Doping process consists of pre -deposition and diffusion. Each of these processes is important in the process temperature and process time. Through these process conditions variable, p-n junction depth can be controled to low and high. In this paper, we studied a optimized doping pre-deposition temperature for high solar cell efficiency. Using a $200{\mu}m$ thickness multi-crystalline silicon wafer, fixed conditions are texture condition, sheet resistance($50\;{\Omega}/sq$), ARC thickness(80nm), metal formation condition and edge isolation condition. The three variable conditions of pre-deposition temperature are $790^{\circ}C$, $805^{\circ}C$ and $820^{\circ}C$. In the $790^{\circ}C$ pre-deposition temperature, we achieved a best solar cell efficiency of 16.2%. Through this experiment result, we find a high efficiency condition in a low pre-deposition temperature than the high pre-deposition temperature. We optimized a pre-deposition temperature for high solar cell efficiency.
We study one-step iteration process to approximate common fixed points of two nonexpansive mappings and prove some convergence theorems in convex metric spaces. Using the so-called condition (A'), the convergence of iteratively defined sequences in a uniformly convex metric space is also obtained.
In this paper, a new condition diagnosis algorithm for the lens injection molding process using various features extracted from cavity pressure, nozzle pressure and screw position signals is developed with the aid of probability neural network (PNN) method. A new feature extraction method is developed for identifying five (5), seven (7) and two (2) critical features from cavity pressure, nozzle pressure and screw position signals, respectively. The node energies extracted from cavity and nozzle pressure signals are also considered based on wavelet packet decomposition (WPD). The PNN method is introduced to build the condition diagnosis model by considering the extracted features and node energies. A series of the lens injection molding experiments are conducted to validate the model, and it is demonstrated that the proposed condition diagnosis model is useful with high diagnosis accuracy.
The set-up of an injection molding process is a ye complicated and time-consuming job because it is required to well determine a lot of variables closely related to products. Thus, the productivity of the set-up process mainly depends on operators' expertise and know-how. To solve the problem mentioned before, this research constructs a support system which helps operators determining the condition of the injection molding easily and systematically. The construction of the support system consists of the following four steps: 1) to determine the control variables which affect the target defect types, 2) to design and implement UI(user interface) using a scenario of set-up process, 3) to design and implement the search algorithms for the initial and optima] condition, and 4) to construct the embedded system which integrates the support system with the operating system of a plastic injection molding machine. The test experiments of some typical products are performed using the embedded system to verify the validity of the support system.
Owing to the variability of large-scaled wind power system, the development of wind farm management technologies and related compensation methods have been receiving attention. To provide an accurate and reliable output power, certain wind farm adopts a specified management system including a wind prediction model and grid expectation solutions for considering grid condition. Those technologies are focused on improving the reliability and stability issues of wind farms, which can affect not only nearby system devices but also a voltage condition of utility grid. Therefore, to adapt the develop management system, an expectation process about voltage condition of Point of Common Coupling should be integrated in operating system for responding system requirements in real-time basis. This paper introduce a grid imposing method for a real-time based wind farm management system. The expected power can be transferred to the power flow section and the required quantity about reactive power can be calculated through the proposed system. For the verification process, the gauss-seidel method is introduced in the Matlab/Simulink for analysing power flow condition. The entire simulation process was designed to interwork with PSCAD for verifying real power system condition.
In this paper, we analyzed the effect of EVA Sheet Gel Content depending on curing condition for photovoltaic module. Gel Content was measured by manufacturing Glass/EVA Sheet/Back Sheet scheme at several curing temperature and curing time. And the surface analysis of EVA Sheet depending on process condition could be observed using SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope). Through this experiment, we could confirm that there are differences on Gel Content of EVA Sheet and surface configuration depending on curing temperature and curing time. To find out the optical characteristic dependency on curing condition, Class/EVA Sheet/Glass scheme was fabricated. The optical transmittance of EVA Sheet at visible wavelength was enhanced 5% when compared to Glass/Glass scheme. And the transmittance of $130^{\circ}C$/4min, $110^{\circ}C$/4min, $160^{\circ}C$/6min process condition was higher at ultraviolet wavelength range. These curing conditions could be regarded as the best process for suppression the discoloration speed of EVA Sheet under UV light.
The operation of flocculation process and the evaluation thereof have been mainly based on G, t and $G{\times}t$ values which are available from design guidelines and texts. However, their suggested ranges are too wide to find the optimum condition specific to a particular water treatment plant and none of the existing method can be used to evaluate and suggest the optimum operational condition. Recently, a commercially available particle counter is found to be useful in determining the flocculation process based on the particle dynamics. The optimum condition is defined as one that best suits the purpose of flocculation; the number of small particles should decrease, while that of large particles should increase. The experiments were performed at two conventional water treatment plants in Korea, one with horizontal mechanical flocculators, and another with vertical type mechanical flocculators. In this paper, experiences to evaluate the flocculation process and to suggest the optimum operation condition will be presented. Although particle counting method is found to be beneficial compared to any other existing methods, the optimum condition is very much site-specific and should be evaluated at each water treatment plant for different conditions.
