국내 대학의 영화 및 영화 관련학과 교과과정 효율화를 위한 연구 (A Study on Effective Adjustment of the Curriculum in Film and Film Related Major in Korean Colleges)

  • 국내 대학에서 영화 및 영상 관련학과가 개설된 지는 50년이 되었지만 초창기의 10여개의 대학을 제외하고는 대부분 90년대 이후에 대거 신설되었다. 이들은 그동안 영화가 발전하는 것을 좇아서 학과내의 커리큘럼을 수정해왔지만 영화라는 매체의 특성상 발 빠른 산업계를 학교가 따라가기에는 여러 가지 어려운 점이 있었다. 특히 90년대 이후에는 영화계에 디지털이 도입되면서 하루가 다르게 제작 양상이 변했고 때맞추어 대기업의 자본과 통신과의 결합, 멀티플렉스를 이용한 와이드 릴리즈 개봉 방식 등의 영화 산업계 전반에 닥친 혁명적 변화로 학교에서 양산한 영화 전문 인력은 현장에 그대로 투입되기에는 맞지 않는 부분이 많아지게 되었다. 영화 제작 현장과 대학 간의 괴리감은 시간이 흐를수록 심해지고 있고 현장은 별다른 검증 없이 투입된 신규 인력을 재교육 시켜야만 했다. 대학의 교과과정을 조정하여 현장 적응력을 높이는 방안을 강구해야 한다. 국내 대학 영화 및 영상 관련학과 선도 격인 학교들의 교과과정을 살펴보고 90년대 이후에 신설된 전국의 영화 및 영상 관련학과들이 경쟁력과 차별성을 갖기 위해서는 어떤 노력이 필요한지 알아본다. 전국에 산재한 영상 관련학과는 교과과정에서 만큼은 차별성이 없다. 해외 대학의 경우 영화 연출가나 촬영 감독 등 특정 직업군의 인력을 양산하기보다 다양한 영화 직종의 구체적인 소개와 실습을 통하여 필름메이커로 성장하도록 교과과정의 편성이 이루어져있다. 학생들이 곧바로 영화 전공과목에 접하기 보다는 먼저 인문학과 교양 과목 이수하도록 하여 창작에 필요한 기본기를 다지는 시간을 강조하는 학교들도 있다. 영화이론, 영화 및 영상 제작, 영화 (매체) 연기 등 크게 세부분으로 나누어져 있는 대부분의 국내 대학 영화 및 영상전공 세부 과정은 각급 대학의 특성을 고려하여 확장 가능한 범위내에서 독창적이고 경쟁력 있는 세부 전공 과정을 개발하여야 영상 관련 대학경쟁에서 우위에 설 수 있고 이는 곧바로 대한민국 영화의 경쟁력으로 이어질 것이다. 영화 전공 교과목을 나열하여 특정 분야에 치중해 있는 과정은 통합하여 수를 줄이고 구색 맞추기 정도의 프로덕션 디자인, 사운드, 편집, 특수 영상, 마케팅과 홍보, 컴퓨터 그래픽등의 분야는 입문 과정과 심화 과정을 별도로 운영하여 균형을 이루게 해야 할 것이다. 모든 영화 학교에서 제안한 모든 과정을 개설하기 보다는 특정 분야를 정하여 교육과정을 개발하고 현장 경력 유경험자의 교수진을 운영한다면 지금보다 나아진 다채롭고 창의적인 영화 인력을 길러낼 수 있을 것이다.

브랜드 아이덴티티 기반 문화콘텐츠 OSMU 전략 연구 (A Conceptual Framework for One Source Multi Use Strategy of Culture Content)

  • 본 연구는 OSMU를 문화콘텐츠가 창출하는 부가가치를 극대화하기 위한 일련의 마케팅 활동으로 파악하고, 브랜드 이론가들이 주장하는 브랜드 자산관리의 전략적 틀을 적용하여, '브랜드 아이덴티티 기반 문화콘텐츠 OSMU 전략'의 개념적 모델을 제시하였다. 문화콘텐츠와 관련하여 소비자가 떠올리는 강력하고 호의적인 연상은 콘텐츠의 높은 브랜드 자산 가치를 구축하는데, 이를 위해 저작권자는 전달하고자 하는 콘텐츠 브랜드 아이덴티티를 결정하고, 이를 OSMU 전략의 수립과 집행의 근간으로 삼아야 한다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 전략 모델에 따르면, 콘텐츠 브랜드 아이덴티티는, 1)다양한 창구를 통해 콘텐츠를 노출시킴에 있어서 필요한 창구화 의사결정, 2)원천 콘텐츠를 어떤 장르로 전환하는 것이 바람직하며, 장르 전환에 있어서 어떤 요소가 유지, 강화되어야 하는가 등에 관한 장르전환 의사 결정, 3)상품화 대상 선정, 상품화 활용 요소 및 상품화 디자인과 관련한 상품화 의사 결정 등 다양한 OSMU 의사 결정의 기준을 제공한다. 또한, 다양한 경로의 소비자 접촉을 브랜드 아이덴티티를 중심으로 조율하고 통합하며, 브랜드 자산의 지속적인 평가를 통해 콘텐츠의 장기적인 부가가치 극대화에 기여한다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 점에서 기존의 연구와 차별되는 의의를 갖는다고 할 수 있다. 첫째, OSMU를 일련의 과정으로 파악하여 전체적인 흐름을 조망함으로써 OSMU 논의의 폭을 넓히고 있다. 둘째, 창구화, 장르전환, 상품화 등 다양한 OSMU 활동을 통합하고 조율할 필요성에 주목하였다. 셋째, 전략의 초점을 원천 콘텐츠 (One Source)의 부가가치 극대화에 맞춤으로써, 멀티 유즈 (Multi Use) 결과인 장르 전환된 콘텐츠 또는 관련 상품을 위한 전략과의 혼란을 배제하였다. 넷째, OSMU 실행과정에서 저작권자에게 요구되는 다양한 의사결정을 파악하고, 그 기준을 제시함으로써 OSMU 주체의 역할을 강조하였다. 다섯째, 콘텐츠의 내용 이외에도, 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 요소를 논의의 대상에 포함시킴으로써, 콘텐츠 향유자뿐 아니라 미래의 잠재고객을 콘텐츠의 장기적 부가가치 창출원으로 인식하였다.

무인항공기 영상 활용 자동 정합점 추출을 통한 KOMPSAT-3A 위성영상의 RPC 보정 (RPC Correction of KOMPSAT-3A Satellite Image through Automatic Matching Point Extraction Using Unmanned AerialVehicle Imagery)

  • 고해상도 위성영상의 기하보정을 위해 촬영 당시의 위성 센서와 지표면과의 기하학적 관계를 복원하는 센서모델링 과정이 필요하다. 이를 위해 일반적으로 고해상도 위성은 RPC (Rational Polynomial Coefficient) 정보를 제공하고 있지만, 제공 RPC는 위성 센서의 위치와 자세 등에 의해 발생하는 기하왜곡을 포함하고 있다. 이러한 RPC 오차를 보정하기 위해 일반적으로 지상기준점(Ground Control Points)을 활용한다. 지상기준점을 수집하는 대표적인 방법으로 현장 측량을 통해 지상좌표를 취득하지만, 이는 위성영상의 품질이나 촬영 시기에 따른 토지피복의 변화, 기복변위 등으로 위성영상 내에서 지상기준점을 판독하기에 어려운 문제가 있다. 이에 최근에는 다양한 센서로부터 취득된 영상지도를 참조자료로 이용하여, 영상정합 기법을 통해 지상기준점 수집을 자동화할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 무인항공기 영상을 활용하여 추출된 정합점을 통해 KOMPSAT-3A 위성영상의 RPC를 보정하고자 한다. 무인항공기 영상과 KOMPSAT-3A 위성영상의 정합점 추출을 위한 전처리 방법을 제안하고, 대표적인 특징기반 정합기법(Feature-based matching method)과 영역기반 정합기법(Area-based matching method)인 SURF (Speeded-Up Robust Features)와 위상상관(Phase Correlation) 기법을 각각 적용하여 추출된 정합점의 특성을 비교하였다. 각 기법을 통해 추출된 정합점을 활용하여 RPC 보정계수를 산출한 후, GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) 측량을 통해 직접 취득한 검사점에 적용하여 KOMPSAT-3A의 기하품질을 향상하였다. 제안기법의 성능 및 활용성 검증을 위해 GCP를 이용하여 보정한 결과와 비교하여 분석하였다. GCP 기반 보정 방법은 제공 RPC보다 Sample은 2.14 pixel, Line은 5.43 pixel 만큼 개선된 보정 정확도를 보였다. 그리고 SURF와 위상상관 기법을 활용한 제안기법은 제공 RPC보다 각각 Sample은 0.83 pixel, 1.49 pixel만큼 보정되었으며, Line은 4.81 pixel, 5.19 pixel만큼 개선되었다. 이를 통해 GCP 기반 위성영상 RPC 보정 방법의 대안으로 무인항공기 영상이 활용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

위성관측운량 보정을 위한 알고리즘의 개발 (Development of a Retrieval Algorithm for Adjustment of Satellite-viewed Cloudiness)

  • 본 연구에서는 위성관측운량을 지상관측운량에 가깝게 보정하기 위한 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 위성관측운량과 지상관측운량은 같은 구름을 각각 평면과 반구면에 투영한 관점이라는 차이를 가진다. 따라서, 개발된 위성보정 알고리즘은 평면의 위성관측 영역에 투영된 구름에 적절한 높이를 부여하여 지상관측 영역인 반 구면에 투영된 구름으로 변환하는 것이 핵심이다. 이때 평면구름은 위성 구름탐지를 이용하며, 높이는 운정압력을 이용하여 결정한다. Himawari-8 Level 1B 관측자료로 입력자료를 만들어 기존의 위성관측운량과 개발된 알고리즘을 통해 산출한 위성관측운량을 2016년 7월부터 2017년 6월, 매월 1일부터 7일까지 낮 시간 동안 한국(22개소)과 중국(724개소)의 종관지상관측소의 목측 전운량에 대해 검증하였다. 그 결과, 개발된 알고리즘을 통해 산출한 보정위성관측운량이 기존 위성관측운량에 비해 작은 평균오차($1.01{\rightarrow}0.61$)를 가지며, 예측의 성공률(PC) 또한 증가($55%{\rightarrow}61%$)했다. 특히 '흐림(Cloudy)'에 대한 관측률(POD)이 증가하였다($60%{\rightarrow}73%$). 예측 성공률은 55%에서 61%로 상승하였다. 이때, 겨울 기간(12-2월)에는 구름 과탐지에 의한 것으로 추정되는 오차가 다소 증가하나, 전 계절과 마찬가지로 좋은 예측 성공률을 보인다($56%{\rightarrow}60%$). 개발된 알고리즘으로 산출한 보정위성관측운량이 기존의 위성관측운량보다 지상관측운량에 더 가까워지는 것을 확인하였다.

전도성고분자, 티로시나아제 효소 및 이온성 액체 전해질을 융합한 전압전류법 기반의 비스페놀F 검출 센서 (Voltammetric Sensor Incorporated with Conductive Polymer, Tyrosinase, and Ionic Liquid Electrolyte for Bisphenol F)

  • 본 연구에서는 일회용 센서 칩으로 제작 가능한 스크린 프린팅된 탄소칩 전극(screen printed carbon electrode; SPCE) 표면에 전도성고분자 및 효소 티로시나아제(tyrosinase, Tyr)를 적층하여 전기화학적인 방법으로 남성 질환, 갑상선 질환 등과 연관성이 입증된 내분비계 교란 물질인 비스페놀F (bisphenol F, BPF) 검출에 적용하였다. 산소 플라즈마 처리를 통해 음전하를 띠게 한 SPCE 작업전극 표면에 양전하를 띄는 전도성 고분자인 poly(diallyldimethyl ammonium chloride) (PDDA)과 음전하를 띠는 고분자 화합물 poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) 그리고 PDDA 순서대로 정전기적인 인력으로 층을 쌓고, 최종적으로 pH (7.0)를 조절하여 음전하를 띄게 한 효소, Tyr층을 올려 PDDA-PSS-PDDA-Tyr 센서를 제작하였다. 상기 전극 센서를 기질이자 타겟분석물인 BPF 용액에 접촉하면, 전극 표면에서 Tyr 효소와 산화반응에 의해 4,4'-methylenebis(cyclohexa-3,5-diene-1,2-dione)가 생성되고, 순환전압전류법과 시차펄스전압전류법을 이용하여 생성물을 0.1 V (vs. Ag/AgCl)에서 환원하면 4,4'-methylenebis(benzene-1,2-diol)이 생성되면서 발생하는 피크 전류 값의 변화를 측정함으로써, BPF의 농도를 정량적으로 분석하였다. 또한, 기존에 많은 연구에서 사용되는 인산완충생리식염수를 대체할 수 있는 이온성 액체 전해질을 사용하여 BPF의 검출 성능 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 BPF와 유사한 구조를 갖는 방해물질로 작용하는 비스페놀S에 대한 선택성을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 실험실에서 준비한 실제 시료안의 BPF의 농도를 분석하는데 제작한 센서를 적용함으로써 센서의 실제 적용 가능성을 입증하고자 하였다.

임플랜트 식립부위 형성시 골조직의 온도변화에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE TEMPERATURE CHANGES OF BONE TISSUES DURING IMPLANT SITE PREPARATION)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the possibility of thermal injury to bone tissues during an implant site preparation under the same condition as a typical clinical practice of $Br{\aa}nemark$ implant system. All the burs for $Br{\aa}nemark$ implant system were studied except the round bur The experiments involved 880 drilling cases : 50 cases for each of the 5 steps of NP, 5 steps of RP, and 7 steps of WP, all including srew tap, and 30 cases of 2mm twist drill. For precision drilling, a precision handpiece restraining system was developed (Eungyong Machinery Co., Korea). The system kept the drill parallel to the drilling path and allowed horizontal adjustment of the drill with as little as $1{\mu}m$ increment. The thermocouple insertion hole. that is 0.9mm in diameter and 8mm in depth, was prepared 0.2mm away from the tapping bur the last drilling step. The temperatures due to countersink, pilot drill, and other drills were measured at the surface of the bone, at the depths of 4mm and 8mm respectively. Countersink drilling temperature was measured by attaching the tip of a thermocouple at the rim of the countersink. To assure temperature measurement at the desired depths, 'bent-thermocouples' with their tips of 4 and 8mm bent at $120^{\circ}$ were used. The profiles of temperature variation were recorded continuously at one second interval using a thermometer with memory function (Fluke Co. U.S.A.) and 0.7mm thermocouples (Omega Co., U.S.A.). To simulate typical clinical conditions, 35mm square samples of bovine scapular bone were utilized. The samples were approximately 20mm thick with the cortical thickness on the drilling side ranging from 1 to 2mm. A sample was placed in a container of saline solution so that its lower half is submerged into the solution and the upper half exposed to the room air, which averaged $24.9^{\circ}C$. The temperature of the saline solution was maintained at $36.5^{\circ}C$ using an electric heater (J. O Tech Co., Korea). This experimental condition was similar to that of a patient s opened mouth. The study revealed that a 2mm twist drill required greatest attention. As a guide drill, a twist drill is required to bore through a 'virgin bone,' rather than merely enlarging an already drilled hole as is the case with other drills. This typically generates greater amount of heat. Furthermore, one tends to apply a greater pressure to overcome drilling difficulty, thus producing even greater amount heat. 150 experiments were conducted for 2mm twist drill. For 140 cases, drill pressure of 750g was sufficient, and 10 cases required additional 500 or 100g of drilling pressure. In case of the former. 3 of the 140 cases produced the temperature greater than $47^{\circ}C$, the threshold temperature of degeneration of bone tissue (1983. Eriksson et al.) which is also the reference temperature in this study. In each of the 10 cases requiring extra pressure, the temperature exceeded the reference temperature. More significantly, a surge of heat was observed in each of these cases This observations led to addtional 20 drilling experiments on dense bones. For 10 of these cases, the pressure of 1,250g was applied. For the other 10, 1.750g were applied. In each of these cases, it was also observed that the temperature rose abruptly far above the thresh old temperature of $47^{\circ}C$, sometimes even to 70 or $80^{\circ}C$. It was also observed that the increased drilling pressure influenced the shortening of drilling time more than the rise of drilling temperature. This suggests the desirability of clinically reconsidering application of extra pressures to prevent possible injury to bone tissues. An analysis of these two extra pressure groups of 1,250g and 1,750g revealed that the t-statistics for reduced amount of drilling time due to extra pressure and increased peak temperature due to the same were 10.80 and 2.08 respectively suggesting that drilling time was more influenced than temperature. All the subsequent drillings after the drilling with a 2mm twist drill did not produce excessive heat, i.e. the heat generation is at the same or below the body temperature level. Some of screw tap, pilot, and countersink showed negative correlation coefficients between the generated heat and the drilling time. indicating the more the drilling time, the lower the temperature. The study also revealed that the drilling time was increased as a function of frequency of the use of the drill. Under the drilling pressure of 750g, it was revealed that the drilling time for an old twist drill that has already drilled 40 times was 4.5 times longer than a new drill The measurement was taken for the first 10 drillings of a new drill and 10 drillings of an old drill that has already been used for 40 drillings. 'Test Statistics' of small samples t-test was 3.49, confirming that the used twist drills require longer drilling time than new ones. On the other hand, it was revealed that there was no significant difference in drilling temperature between the new drill and the old twist drill. Finally, the following conclusions were reached from this study : 1 Used drilling bur causes almost no change in drilling temperature but increase in drilling time through 50 drillings under the manufacturer-recommended cooling conditions and the drilling pressure of 750g. 2. The heat that is generated through drilling mattered only in the case of 2mm twist drills, the first drill to be used in bone drilling process for all the other drills there is no significant problem. 3. If the drilling pressure is increased when a 2mm twist drill reaches a dense bone, the temperature rises abruptly even under the manufacturer-recommended cooling conditions. 4. Drilling heat was the highest at the final moment of the drilling process.

해외농업투자에 따른 유통체계 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A study on the improvement of distribution system by overseas agricultural investment)

  • 세계경제 및 환경의 변화에 따라 농산물의 불안정적인 수급으로 인한 문제점이 노출되고 있으며, 우리나라의 경우 농산물의 안정적인 확보를 위하여 국가 전략적 차원에서의 해외농업투자의 필요성이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 정부차원의 지원 미진, 해외 농업에 대한 정보 및 기술 미비, 개발자금 확보의 어려움, 장기간의 투자금 회수기간, 사후관리 미흡 등의 이유로 성과를 이루지 못하고 있는 실정이며, 특히 해외 농산물의 국내 반입 시 관세의 장벽, 물류 유통비용 등으로 가격 경쟁력이 떨어지고 있어 국내에 반입되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 해외농업투자의 기본개념 및 실태를 살펴보고 해외농업투자의 필요성과 고려사항, 문제점 등을 도출하여 해외에서 재배된 농산물의 경쟁력을 위한 유통 측면에서의 개선방안을 정부의 간접적인 지원, 유통 현대화 및 유통정보기능 강화, 유통시설, 수송루트, 하역업무개선, 경쟁력 확보를 위한 정부의 정책적 지원, 교육 훈련을 통한 전문인력 양성 등 다섯 가지 측면에서 제시하였다.

  • The problem addressed by this study was to determine the effect of nurse - patient agreement on the means to achieve nursing goals in the early postpartum period of primiparous mothers. It was hypothesized that the experimental treatment would result in hegher self-confidence and satisfaction in maternal role performance. This purpose was to contribute to the planning of nursing care to enhance self- confidence and satisfaction in maternal role performance and to the development of relevant nursing theory. Especially, the early postpartum period is crucial toward in recovery from childbirth and attainment of the maternal role. Maternal role attaintment is a complex social and cognitive process of stimulus -response accomplished by learning. Most women attain the maternal role sucessfully. But, some primiparous mothers experience difficultites in attainment of the maternal role due to lack of experience and knowledge. Self-confidence and satisfaction in maternal role performance are important factors in attainment and adjustment to the maternal role (Mercer, 1981a, 1981b ; Lederman, Weigarten, and Lederman, 1981 :Bobak and Jensen, 1985). Nursing is defined as behaviors of nurses add patients that attain nursing goals through action, reaction, interaction, and transaction. For attainment of nursing goals, active participating transactions must occur by agreement on the means to achieve those goals through nurse -patient mutual goal setting and establishment of their active relationships(King, 1981, Ha, 1977). Based on King's theory of goal attainment (1981), this stuy was planned as a non-equivalent control group, non -synchronized quasi -experimental design using agreement on the means to achieve nursing goals in early postpartum as the experimental treatment. The data were collected from July 20 to Sep. 1, 1991 by questionnaires with 60 primiparous mothers planing to breast feed after normal deliveries at W hospital in Pusan, Korea. The subjects were divided into a control group(conventional group) -those admitted from July 20 to Aug. 12, and an experimental group(agreement group) - those admitted from Aug. 13 to Sep. 1. The instument for agreement on the means to nursing goals in the early postpartum period included five steps - identification of disturbances of problems through action, reaction, and interaction with primiparous mothers : mutual early postpartal nursing goal setting : exploration of the means to achieve goals ; agreement on the means (self- care, ealry maternal -infant contact, performance of mothering behavior, and communicating about the infant's behavior and health condition) : implementation of the means. This instrument was developed on the basis of King's elements that lead to transactions in nurse-patient interactions. Lederman et al's (1981) scale for Confidence in ability to cope with tasks of motherhood and Lederman et al's(1981) scale for Mother's satisfaction with motherhood and infant care were used to measure self-confidence and satisfaction in maternal role performance ·with the subjects immediately after admission and on the day of discharge. Self-care performance in the experimental group was measured by self -evaluation tool developed by the investigator from the literature concerned. The tools to measure Pelf-confidence and satisfaction in maternal role performance, and the tool to measure self-evaluation of self-care performance were tested for internal reliability. Cronbach's Alphas were 0.94, 0.94, and 0.63. The data were analysed by using in S.P.S.S. computerized program and included percentage, x²-test, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The conclusions obtained from this study are summerized as follows : 1. The degree of self-confidence in maternal role performance of the total subjects group measured before the experimental treatment was above average with a mean score of 2.77(range 2.14-3.64). Out of 14 items, those with relatively high mean scores were ‘I would like to be a better mother than I am’(3.95), and ‘I have my doubts about whether I am a good mother’(2.87). Those with low mean scores were ‘I know that my baby wants most of the times’(2.28), ‘When the baby cries, I can tell what she /he wants’(2.37), and ‘I have confidence in my ability to care for the baby’(2;50). That is, the self - confidence of Primiparous mothers was considerably high in mothering, but rather low in activities concerning the infant care and understanding of the infant behavior. The degree of satisfaction in maternal role performance of the total subjects group measured before the experimental treatment was high with a mean score of 3.18(range 1.92-3.92). Out of 13 items, those with relatively high mean scores were ‘I am glad 1 had this baby now’(3.75), ‘I play with the baby between feedings when s/he is awake and quiet’(3.67), and ‘I enjoy being a mother’(3.27). Those with low mean scores were ‘I am upset about having too many responsibilities as a mother’(2.78), ‘It bothers me to get up for the baby at night’(2.82), and ‘I get annoyed if the baby frequently interrupts my activities’.(2.82), That is, the satisfaction of primiparous mothers was considerably high in mothering and infant care, but rather low in restraints in time or on the mother's self accomplishment and development. 2. Agreement on the means to achieve nursing goals in the early postpartum period included process of mutual goal setting, exploration of the means to achieve goals, and ahreement in concert means to achieve goals based on the mothers' condition, concerns, self-perception of the nurse - patient interactions. In the process of agreement, there was agreement that the means to achieve goals should be through trust and establishment of active relationships with the nurse through identification of problems according to planned nursing goals and active interaction, such as explanations, teaching, changing of opinions, acceptance or rejection of explanations, and proposing of questions. Therefore agreement on the means to achieve nursing goals in the early postpartum period appears to be an effective nursing intervention for primiparous mothers. 3. The degree of self- confidence in maternal role performance of the exprimental group was higher than that of the control group(t=3.95, p<0.01). Out of 14 items, those with higher score in the experimental group were ‘I would like to be a better mother than I am’(t=1.93, p<0.05), ‘I know that my baby wants most of the times’(t=2.75, p<0.01), ‘When the baby cries, 1 can tell what she/he wants’(t=2.10, p<0.05), ‘I have confidence in my ability to care for the baby’(t=3.72, p<0.01), ‘I trust my own judement in deciding how to care for the baby’(t=1.96, p<0.05), ‘I feel that I know my baby and what to do for him /her’(t=2.44, p<0.01), ‘I am concerned about being able to meet the baby's needs’(t=2.87, p<0.01), ‘I know what my baby likes and dislikes’(t=3.26, p<0.01), ‘I don't know to care for the baby as well as I should’(t=2.07, p<0.05), and ‘I am unsure about whether I give enough attention to the baby’(t=3.04, p<0.01), That is, the degree of self-confidence in mothering, activities concerning infant care, and understanding of infant behavior of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. Therefore, the first hypothesis, that the degree of self-confidence in maternal role performance of the experimental group would be higher than that of the control group, was supported(t=3.95, p<0.01). 4. The degree of satisfaction in the maternal role performance of the exprimental group was higer than that or the control group(t=2.31, p<0.05). Out of 13 items, those with higher score in the experimental group were ‘I am glad I had this baby now’(t=2.29, p<0.05), ‘I enjoy taking care of the baby’(t=2.4g, p<0.01), ‘It is boring for me to care for the baby and do the same thing over and over’(t=2.87, P<0.01), ‘I am unhappy with the amount of time I have for activities other than childcare’(t=2.51, p<0.01), and ‘When bathing and diapering the baby, I would like to be doing something else’(t=2.43, p<0.01). That is, the degree of satisfaction in mothering, infant care, and restraints in time of on the mother's self accomplishment and development in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. Therefore, the second hypothesis, that the degree of satisfaction in maternal role performance of the experimental group would be higher than that of the control group, was supported(t=2.31, p<0.05). 5. The third hypothesis, that the higher the degree of satisfaction in materenal role performance, the higher the degree of self-confidence in materenal role performance in the experimental group, was supported (r=0.57, p<0.01)

병원 간호사의 선호근무시간대에 관한 연구 (A Study on Hoslital Nurses' Preferred Duty Shift and Duty Hours)

  • The duty shifts of hospital nurses not only affect nurses' physical and mental health but also present various personnel management problems which often result in high turnover rates. In this context a study was carried out from October to November 1995 for a period of two months to find out the status of hospital nurses' duty shift patterns, and preferred duty hours and fixed duty shifts. The study population was 867 RNs working in five general hospitals located in Seoul and its vicinity. The questionnaire developed by the writer was used for data collection. The response rate was 85.9 percent or 745 returns. The SAS program was used for data analysis with the computation of frequencies, percentages and Chi square test. The findings of the study are as follows: 1. General characteristics of the study population: 56 percent of respondents was (25 years group and 76.5 percent were "single": the predominant proportion of respondents was junior nursing college graduates(92.2%) and have less than 5 years nursing experience in hospitals(65.5%). For their future working plan in nursing profession, nearly 50% responded as uncertain The reasons given for their career plan was predominantly 'personal growth and development' rather than financial reasons. 2. The interval for rotations of duty stations was found to be mostly irregular(56.4%) while others reported as weekly(16.1%), monthly(12.9%), and fixed terms(4.6%). 3. The main problems related to duty shifts particularly the evening and night duty nurses reported were "not enough time for the family, " "afraid of security problems after the work when returning home late at night." and "lack of leisure time". "problems in physical and physiological adjustment." "problems in family life." "lack of time for interactions with fellow nurses" etc. 4. The forty percent of respondents reported to have '1-2 times' of duty shift rotations while all others reported that '0 time'. '2-3 times'. 'more than 3 times' etc. which suggest the irregularity in duty shift rotations. 5. The majority(62.8%) of study population found to favor the rotating system of duty stations. The reasons for favoring the rotation system were: the opportunity for "learning new things and personal development." "better human relations are possible. "better understanding in various duty stations." "changes in monotonous routine job" etc. The proportion of those disfavor the rotating 'system was 34.7 percent. giving the reasons of"it impedes development of specialization." "poor job performances." "stress factors" etc. Furthermore. respondents made the following comments in relation to the rotation of duty stations: the nurses should be given the opportunity to participate in the. decision making process: personal interest and aptitudes should be considered: regular intervals for the rotations or it should be planned in advance. etc. 6. For the future career plan. the older. married group with longer nursing experiences appeared to think the nursing as their lifetime career more likely than the younger. single group with shorter nursing experiences ($x^2=61.19.{\;}p=.000;{\;}x^2=41.55.{\;}p=.000$). The reason given for their future career plan regardless of length of future service, was predominantly "personal growth and development" rather than financial reasons. For further analysis, the group those with the shorter career plan appeared to claim "financial reasons" for their future career more readily than the group who consider the nursing job as their lifetime career$(x^2$= 11.73, p=.003) did. This finding suggests the need for careful .considerations in personnel management of nursing administration particularly when dealing with the nurses' career development. The majority of respondents preferred the fixed day shift. However, further analysis of those preferred evening shift by age and civil status, "< 25 years group"(15.1%) and "single group"(13.2) were more likely to favor the fixed evening shift than > 25 years(6.4%) and married(4.8%)groups. This differences were statistically significant ($x^2=14.54, {\;}p=.000;{\;}x^2=8.75, {\;}p=.003$). 7. A great majority of respondents(86.9% or n=647) found to prefer the day shifts. When the four different types of duty shifts(Types A. B. C, D) were presented, 55.0 percent of total respondents preferred the A type or the existing one followed by D type(22.7%). B type(12.4%) and C type(8.2%). 8. When the condition of monetary incentives for the evening(20% of salary) and night shifts(40% of. salary) of the existing duty type was presented. again the day shift appeared to be the most preferred one although the rate was slightly lower(66.4% against 86.9%). In the case of evening shift, with the same incentive, the preference rates for evening and night shifts increased from 11.0 to 22.4 percent and from 0.5 to 3.0 percent respectively. When the age variable was controlled. < 25 yrs group showed higher rates(31.6%. 4.8%) than those of > 25 yrs group(15.5%. 1.3%) respectively preferring the evening and night shifts(p=.000). The civil status also seemed to operate on the preferences of the duty shifts as the single group showed lower rate(69.0%) for day duty against 83. 6% of the married group. and higher rates for evening and night duties(27.2%. 15.1%) respectively against those of the married group(3.8%. 1.8%) while a higher proportion of the married group(83. 6%) preferred the day duties than the single group(69.0%). These differences were found to be statistically all significant(p=.001). 9. The findings on preferences of three different types of fixed duty hours namely, B, C. and D(with additional monetary incentives) are as follows in order of preference: B type(12hrs a day, 3days a wk): day shift(64.1%), evening shift(26.1%). night shift(6.5%) C type(12hrs a day. 4days a wk) : evening shift(49.2%). day shift(32.8%), night shift(11.5%) D type(10hrs a day. 4days a wk): showed the similar trend as B type. The findings of higher preferences on the evening and night duties when the incentives are given. as shown above, suggest the need for the introductions of different patterns of duty hours and incentive measures in order to overcome the difficulties in rostering the nursing duties. However, the interpretation of the above data, particularly the C type, needs cautions as the total number of respondents is very small(n=61). It requires further in-depth study. In conclusion. it seemed to suggest that the patterns of nurses duty hours and shifts in the most hospitals in the country have neither been tried for different duty types nor been flexible. The stereotype rostering system of three shifts and insensitiveness for personal life aspect of nurses seemed to be prevailing. This study seems to support that irregular and frequent rotations of duty shifts may be contributing factors for most nurses' maladjustment problems in physical and mental health. personal and family life which eventually may result in high turnover rates. In order to overcome the increasing problems in personnel management of hospital nurses particularly in rostering of evening and night duty shifts, which may related to eventual high turnover rates, the findings of this study strongly suggest the need for an introduction of new rostering systems including fixed duties and appropriate incentive measures for evenings and nights which the most nurses want to avoid, In considering the nursing care of inpatients is the round-the clock business. the practice of the nursing duty shift system is inevitable. In this context, based on the findings of this study. the following are recommended: 1. The further in-depth studies on duty shifts and hours need to be undertaken for the development of appropriate and effective rostering systems for hospital nurses. 2. An introduction of appropriate incentive measures for evening and night duty shifts along with organizational considerations such as the trials for preferred duty time bands, duty hours, and fixed duty shifts should be considered if good quality of care for the patients be maintained for the round the clock. This may require an initiation of systematic research and development activities in the field of hospital nursing administration as a part of permanent system in the hospital. 3. Planned and regular intervals, orientation and training, and professional and personal growth should be considered for the rotation of different duty stations or units. 4. In considering the higher degree of preferences in the duty type of "10hours a day, 4days a week" shown in this study, it would be worthwhile to undertake the R&D type studies in large hospital settings.

  • 양송이 합성퇴비(合成堆肥) 배지(培地)의 제조(製造)에 있어서 탄소원(炭素原), 질소원(窒素源) 등(等) 영양원(營養源)과 물리적(物理的) 안정(安定)을 위(爲)한 보조재료(補助材料)의 선정(選定), 볏짚을 주재료(主材料)로 사용(使用)할 때의 퇴비재료(堆肥材料)의 배합(配合), 야외퇴적(野外堆積) 및 후발효(後醱酵), 볏짚 퇴비배지(堆肥倍地)에서의 유해생물(有害生物) 발생(發生) 및 방제(防除)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)를 수행(遂行)한 바 그 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 합성퇴비배지(合成堆肥倍地)의 탄소원(炭素原)으로서 볏짚은 보리짚과 밀짚보다 발효(醱酵)가 신속(迅速)하고 퇴비(堆肥)의 질소함량(窒素含量)이 높으며 배지(培地)의 질(質)이 양호(良好)하여 양송이 자실체(字實體) 수량(收量)이 현저(顯著)히 높았다. 2. 한국(韓國)에서 생산(生産)되는 일본형(日本型) 벼와 통일품종(統一品種等) 두 계통(系統)의 볏짚은 초형(草型) 및 이화학적(理化學的) 성질(性質)이 달라서 퇴비(堆肥)의 발효상태(醱酵狀態)에 차이(差異)가 많았다. 통일(統一)볏짚은 발효(醱酵)가 빠르게 진행(進行)되므로 퇴적기간(堆積期間)을 단축(短縮)하고 수분공급량(水分供給量)을 감소(減少)시키며 물리성(物理成) 안정재(安定材)를 첨가(添加)하여야 한다. 3. 보릿짚 퇴비(堆肥)는 볏짚퇴비(堆肥)보다 생산성(生産性)이 낮으나 보릿짚과 볏짚을 50 : 50으로 혼용(混用)하면 볏짚과 대등(對等)한 수량(收量)을 얻을 수 있었다. 4. 퇴비배지(堆肥倍地)의 전질소(全窒素), 전유기물(全有機物) 질소(窒素) 및 Amino산태(酸態), Amide태(態) Amino당태(糖態) 질소(窒素)와 자실체(字實體) 수량간(收量間)에는 각각(各各) 높은 정(正)의 상관(相關)이 있으나 Ammonia태(態) 질소(窒素)는 균사생장 및 자실체(字實體) 형성(形成)에 심(甚)히 유해(有害)하였다. 5. 볏짚을 주재료(主材料)로 사용(使用)할 때 무기태(無機態) 질소원(窒素源)으로서 요소(尿素)가 가장 좋았고 유안(硫安)과 석회질소(石灰質素)는 부적당(不適當)하였다. 요소(尿素)는 3회(回) 분시(分施)할 때 손실(損失)이 감소(減少)되고 퇴비(堆肥)의 질소함량(窒素含量)이 증가(增加)하였다. 6. 유기태영양원(有機態營養源) 중(中) 들깻묵, 참깻묵, 밀기울, 계양(鷄養) 등(等)의 첨가(添加)는 퇴비(堆肥)의 발효(醱酵)를 양호(良好)하게 하고 자실체수량(字實體收量)을 증가(增加)시켰다. 7. 들깻묵, 밀기울 등(等) 유기태영양원(有機態營養源)은 장유박(醬油粕), 이분조미료폐비(泥粉調味料廢肥) 등(等) 공장폐엽물(工場廢葉物)로서 대체(代替)하여 재배(栽培)할 수 있었다. 8. 볏짚퇴비(堆肥) 제조시(製造時) 석고(石膏)와 Zeolite를 첨가(添加)하면 과습(過濕) 및 결착(結着) 등(等)으로 인(因)한 물리성(物理性)의 악화(惡化)가 방지(防止)되며, 자실체수량(字實體收量)이 증가(增加)하는데 그 효과(效果)는 일본형(日本型) 볏짚보다 통일(統一)에서 현저(顯著)하였다. 9. 볏짚을 주재료(主材料)로 퇴비재료(堆肥材料)를 배합(配合)할 때 계양(鷄養) 10%, 깻묵 5%, 요소(尿素) $1.2{\sim}1.5%$, 석고(石膏) 1%를 첨가(添加)하고 봄재배(栽培) 때는 발열촉진(發熱促進)을 위(爲)하여 미강(米糠)을 첨가(添加)하는 것이 좋았다. 10. 볏짚배지(培地)의 야외퇴적시(野外堆積時) 적산온도(積算溫度)와 퇴비(堆肥) 부열도간(腐熱度間)에는 r=0.97의 높은 상관(相關)이 이고 적산온도(積算溫度) $900{\sim}1000^{\circ}C$일 때 자실체(字實體) 수량(收量)이 가장 많았다. 11. 퇴적기간(堆積期間)이 길어질수록 퇴비(堆肥)의 부열도(腐熱度)가 높아지고 전질소함량(全窒素含量)이 증가(增加)하고 Ammonia태(態) 질소(窒素)는 감소(減少)하였는데, 볏짚배지(培地)의 퇴적기간(堆積期間)은 봄재배(栽培) $20{\sim}25$일(日), 가을재배(栽培) 15일(日)이 적당(適當)하였고 그때의 부열도(腐熱度)는 각각 19및 24%였다. 12. 퇴비(堆肥) 후발효시(後醱酵時) 수분함량(水分含量)이 높은 퇴비(堆肥)를 진압(鎭壓) 하여 입상(入床)할 때 공기유통(空氣流通)이 감소(減少)하여 Ammonia태(態) 질소(窒素)의 잔류량(殘溜量)이 증가(增加)하고 Methane과 유기산(有機酸) 등(等) 환원성(還元性) 물질(物質)의 생성(生成)이 많았다. r=-0.76, 휘발성(揮發性) 유기산(有機酸)과는 r=-0.73의 부(負)의 상관(相關)이 있었다. 13. 입상시(入床時) 퇴비(堆肥)의 수분함량(水分含量) $69{\sim}80%$ 범위(範圍)에서 자실체(字實體) 수량(收量)은 수분함량(水分含量)이 증가(增加)할수록 감소(減少)하였는데 (r=-0.78) 이것은 공극량(孔隙量)의 감소(減少)에 기인(基因)하는 것이었다. 입상시(入床時) 균상(菌床)의 적정 공극량(孔隙量)은 $41{\sim}45%$. 14. 후발효(後發效) 정열(頂熱)은 병해충 방제(防除) 뿐 아니고 Ammonia의 제거(除去)를 위(爲)해서 필수적(必須的) 과정(科程)이며 정열후(情熱後) 4일간(日間)의 발효(發效) 과정(科程)이 필요(必要)하였다. 15. 볏짚 퇴비배지(堆肥倍地)에서 양송이 균(菌)에 유해(有害)한 영향(影響)을 미치는 사장균 10종(種)이 동정(同定)되었는데 그 중(中) Diehliomyces microsporus, Trichoderma spp.,Stysanus stemoitis 등(等)은 발생빈도(發生頻度)가 높고 피해(被害)가 심(甚)하였다. 16. Diehliomyces는 재배사(栽培舍) 온도조절(溫度調節), Basamid와 Vapam처리(處理)로서 방제(防除)가 가능(可能)하며 Trichoderma spp.는 Bavistin과 Benomyl 철포(撤布)로서 방제(防除)되었다. 17. 퇴비중(堆肥中) 서식(棲息)하여 양송이를 가해(加害)하는 4종(種)의 선충과 5종(種)의 응애(類)는 퇴비(堆肥)를 $60^{\circ}C$에서 6시간(時間) 정열(頂熱)시키므로서 방제(防除)할 수 있었다.
