원 웨이 클러치 이너 레이스의 정밀 열간 단조 공정설계에 관한 연구 (Process Design Molding with Precision Hot Forging of One-Way Clutch Inner Race)

  • In this research, we developed a process design hot-forging technology that precisely forms an inner race. The inner race transmits power to a one-way clutch of an automatic transmission and minimizes the CNC machining allowance. For a multi-stage hollow shape (inner race), we proposed several shapes of blocker and finisher for the precision hot-forging process and analyzed the forging process using DEFORM. The hot-forging process was optimized for several parameters, such as metal flow pattern, forging defect, and forming load. Blockers and finisher dies in the hot-forging process were designed to select optimal shapes from finite element analysis, and experiments were conducted to optimize the hot-forging process.

수출용 축양품종 가지의 염절임 공정의 최적화 (Optimization for the Salting Process of Eggplant(Chukyang) for Export Using Response Surface Methodology)

  • 가지의 수출 경쟁력 향상을 위한 한 방안으로 수출용 가지품종인 축양품종을 염가공품으로 개발하기 위하여 염절임 공정을 최적화하였다. 염절임 시간, 절임온도, 염농도를 독립변수로 하고 절임 후 수분함량, 염도, 표면과 내부의 색도 등을 종속변수로 하여, 중심합성계획법으로 실험을 설계하여 최적조건을 얻고자 하였다. 수립된 이차회귀모형으로 예측식을 수립할 수 있었으며 특히 수분함량이나 염도, 표면과 내부의 L과 b 값에 대하여 높은 적합도를 보여 최적조건을 수립하기 위한 제한 변수로 선정하였다. 염농도를 중심점(30%)에서 고정시켜서 얻은 절임시간과 온도는 각각 5.5-6.5일과 13-17$^{\circ}C$였으며, 이때의 종속변수의 제한 요건으로는 수분함량 84%이하, 염도 14%이하 표면 L 값 10-20, b값 0 이하, 내부 L 값은 70-75, b 값이 16-18이었다.

마스낵 제조를 위한 당절임 공정의 최적화 (Optimization for the Sugaring Process of Yam for Snack Food Using Response Surface Methodology)

  • 대부분의 마는 건조분말제품으로 가공되고 있는데, 마를 다양한 가공품으로 개발하기 위한 방법의 하나로 삼투건조라는 전처리를 행하여 건조에 의한 품질손상을 억제하고 단맛으로 기호성을 높인 건조 마 제품을 얻을 수 있는 당절임 공정의 최적화를 시도하여 최적조건을 얻고자 하였다. 침지시간을 3-7시간, 온도는 20-6$0^{\circ}C$, 당농도는 30-70%로 하는 중심합성계획법으로 실험을 설계하여 최적화하였다. 이때의 종속변수로는 침지 후 수분함량, 당도, 색도, 그리고 동결건조후의 수분함량과 재수화율로 하여 분석한 결과 동결건조 후 수분함량에 대해서는 유의성이 없었다. 세 가지의 공정 변수 중 온도의 영향이 가정 적어 온도를 중심으로 고정한 후 침지시간과 당농도의 최적조건을 찾은 결과, 수분함량을 66-70%, 당도를 25-30%, L 75이상, a -2.1--2.4, b를 5이상 그리고 재수화율을 200-250을 제한 조건으로 하는 영역은 5.2-5.9시 간, 56-61%로 나타났다.

  • Process parameters of roller levelling process are intermesh of each roller, roller angle, roller arrangement and shape of rollers. Experimental optimization of these process parameters is very troublesome because of difficulties in evaluating the straightness of pipes to be levelled quantitatively. Finite element method can be a very efficient way to evaluate the straightness of the pipes and therefore to optimize the process. This paper is concerned with simulation and optimization of a roller levelling process. Process parameters of a 14-roller levller for aluminum T9 pipes are optimized with finite element method and Taguchi method. Parameters of significance in roller levelling process and their optimum are obtained.

  • In short channel MOSFET, it is very important to establish optimal process conditions because of variation of devise characteristics due to the process parameters. In this paper, we used process simulator and device simulator in order to optimize process parameter which changes of the device characteristics caused by process parameter variation. From this simulation, it has been derived to the dependence relations between process parameter and device characteristics. The experimental results of fabricated short channel device according to the optimal process parameters demonstrate good device characteristics.

자동차 연료탱크용 링 플레이트의 신 제조공법 (A New Manufacturing Process for the Ring Plate of Automotive Fuel Tank)

  • Currently, in the automotive industry, the efforts to reduce the manufacturing cost by changing the manufacturing process are continually performed. In this paper, we proposed a new manufacturing process, the roll bending process of a ring plate of automotive fuel tank instead of conventional press blanking process to reduce material loss and manufacturing cost. Finite element analysis was used to optimize the roll bending process to assure rectangular cross-section of the ring plate. Also, spring-back analysis after the roll bending process was performed and dimension of the bending die considering spring-back was analyzed. Finally, we verified a possibility for realization of the proposed method with prototypes.

BIM기반 설계프로세스의 전제조건에 관한 연구 (A study on the preconditions of BlM based design process)

  • The purpose of this paper is to find the preconditions of BIM based new design process. As BIM technology improves, investigating new design process will become a greater priority. Our traditional, linear and fragmented design process is not freed from a long-pending questions of poorly coordinated drawings and low production efficiencies. Rather the traditional process is one of the major causes of such issues of low productivity. AIA and NIST proposed new design process to fulfill clients' need for fast and precise delivery recently. The common goal of these two should be better, faster and more precise project delivery created by integration. And we need to create collaborative concurrent design process to optimize the design efforts, But our local AE industry's circumstances are quite different with foreign countries. Therefore, integrated project system cannot be adopted as it stands in foreign countries. This paper will investigate preconditions to expedite the progress of BIM based design process in Korea.

  • In grinding operations, one of the most important problems is to increase efficiency of process. In order to achieve this purpose, it is necessary to administer the tool lift of grinding wheel and to optimize grinding conditions. Frequently dressing result in lowering the process efficiency remarkably and makes production cost high. On the other hand, grinding with a worn wheel causes the workpiece surface roughness to increase and often results in the occurrence of such troubles as chatter vibration and homing.

  • Chemical vapor condensation (CVC) reactor was investigated for the deposition of Parylene-N thin films as the passivation layer for organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Several gas inlet manifold designs were tested to improve the deposition rate and its uniformity, and it was found that proper inlet design is crucial to get the desired film properties. Process characterization was also performed with the modified inlets to optimize the process variables.
