The major objective of this paper is to empirically examine the effect of process maturity on the performance of industrial R&D projects. Process maturity, a fundamental concept of the Capability Maturity Model developed by Software Engineering Institute, represents the essential of Total Quality Management (TQM). Based on literature, our research model constructs process maturity in terms of structured process, goal setting and controlling, metrics, and process learning; and links it to the R&D performance that consists of technical, commercial and managerial successes. The model also includes firm size as a moderator of different effects that process maturity may have across firms. Measures for process maturity are based on the best practices identified in literature. Data are obtained from 77 successful R&D projects carried out by Korean manufacturing firms. Multiple regression and t-test are used to test proposed hypotheses. Findings are as follows. (1) In the R&D process, process maturity partially contributes to the performance of R&D projects. More specifically, goal setting and controlling-related practices drive both technical and commercial successes, while process learning-related practices drive commercial success. In contrast, traditionally emphasized elements such as structured process or metrics are found not to be significant. (2) The degree of process maturity is significantly higher in large firms. (3) Process maturity impacts on commercial success in the case of large firms, whereas it does on technical success in the case of small firms. The results imply that the TQM principles are partially associated with R&D performance, and the nature of benefit from high maturity could vary according to firm size.

소프트웨어 산업의 발전에 따라 소프트웨어 개발조직에서는 소프트웨어 품질이 중요한 이슈로 부각되었다. 특히 여러 종류의 테스트 성숙도 모델을 통해 조직의 소프트웨어 테스트 성숙도 향상에 대해 다양한 방면으로 시도하고 있다. 하지만 현재 테스트 성숙도를 측정할 수 있는 모델들은 기존의 개발 성숙도 측정 모델을 기반으로 개발하여 테스트 부분에 대한 언급이 부족하고 단지 테스트 성숙도 레벨만을 측정하였다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 소프트웨어 개발프로세스와 한께 테스트 프로세스를 수행할 수 있도록 이중 V모델과 테스트 성숙도의 용이한 평가를 위한 테스트 평가 속성과 레벨을 정의한 테스트 속성과 상호관련 매트릭스를 제안하였다. 테스트 프로세스 개선(Test Process Improvement: TPI)의 개선제안(Improvement Suggestion) 방법을 통해 테스트 성숙도 모델 확장하고, 측정된 성숙도를 향상시킬 수 있는 개선방향을 제시한다. 또한, 본 연구에서 제안하는 테스트 성숙도 상호관련 매트릭스는 테스트 성숙도를 정량적으로 평가하기 위해 사용하였다. 결과적으로는 확장된 테스트 성숙도 모델을 통해 조직의 테스트 성숙도를 높이는데 기여 할 수 있으리라 생각한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how software policy shows the moderating effects between organizational capability maturity and organizational performance. The software policy includes the proportions of development personnel and development budget that can affect organizational performance. It is important to empirically identify whether the ratios of budget and personnel, which are some of the main policy indexes of the organization can promote the causal relationship between organizational maturity and organizational performance. These personnel and budget may be assumed to affect the causal relationship between organizational capability maturity and organizational performance. The results of this study shows that the moderating effects of software policy are partially proved. The two policy indexes, personnel ratio and budget ratio, showed a moderating effect between process implementation and organizational performance, but did not show any moderating effect between quantitative management and organizational performance. This is because the companies participating in the survey are still in the early stages of quantitative process management and quantitative management does not show the differentiated results among the participating organizations. The significance of this study is as follows. In the academic aspect, the causal relationship between organizational maturity and organizational performance was examined empirically, and it was analyzed whether the two adopted policy indicators have a moderating effect between organizational maturity and organizational performance. On the practical side, the analysis suggested that the ratios of budget and personnel emphasized by the government or organization played a role of facilitating the organizational maturity and organizational performance.

This paper proposes an e-business maturity model for small and medium-sized enterprises. The model consists of five maturity levels, which are on-line access, on-line business, matured on-line business, and full on-line business from least matured level to most matured level. The model can be used to assess e-business maturity level of individual enterprises. individual enterprise's maturity level can be assessed by examining sample check lists. Additionally, this paper summarizes the results of an application of the proposed model to a couple of small and medium-sized enterprises. This model can also be used to suggest what individual enterprises need to be upgraded towards higher maturity level.

본 연구는 음악과 심상 음악치료의 과정에서 치료사와 내담자간의 상호 성장의 경험을 치료사의 관점에서 조망하고자 하였다. 치료사-내담자 간의 상호 성장의 과정을 치료사의 관점으로부터 심층 인터뷰를 통해 질적 자료를 취합하였으며, 이를 근거이론의 방법으로 분석하였다. 이 연구의 연구 문제는 음악과 심상 치료사가 느끼는 '상호 성장 경험(the experience of mutual maturity)'은 어떤 과정이며, 그 경험은 어떤 의미를 갖는가'이다. 상호 성장 경험과 관련하여 치료사들은 반구조화된 심층인터뷰를 통해 상호 성장에 대한 개인적 정의와 그 예들, 상호 성장 경험에 관한 통찰과 깨달음, 상호성장 경험의 의미와 해석에 관하여 대답하였다. 본 연구의 인터뷰에 참여한 4명의 치료사들은 Lisa Summer가 인증하는 음악과 심상치료사(MIT, Music & Imagery Therapist)의 자격을 획득한 음악과 심상치료사이며, 현재 GIM(Guided Imagery & Music) 훈련과정에 있다. 분석된 심층 인터뷰의 내용은 개방 코딩의 결과 총 81개의 개념들이 추출되었고, 이들 개념들은 20개의 하위범주로 나뉘었으며, 축코딩을 통해 9개의 범주로 정리되었다. 근거이론의 패러다임 모형에 입각하여 분석된 범주들로부터 음악과 심상 치료사들의 성장 과정이 도출되었는데, 결론적으로 내담자-치료사 간 상호 성장 경험에서 '역전이를 다루는 것'은 중심현상을 이루고 있다. 역전이를 작업한 결과로서 치료사들은 자신에 대한 앎과 수용을 넓혀 스스로의 성장을 경험하며, 다른 한 축으로는 치료사로서의 유능감을 확인받아, 내담자의 성장을 이끈다고 하겠다.

Newborn period is a transitional stage for independent adaptation from intrauterine to extrauterine life by maintaining respiration, temperature and nutrition. In general, the adaptability of the newborn is proportional to the gestational age(GA), so knowing the accurate GA is critical to develop nursing process in the newborn nursery. A newborn ma turity rating, a Ballard examination, has been used to measure GA by assessing the maturity of new-born. It consists a total of 12 items, which is the 6 items for the neuromuscular maturity and the 6 items for the physical maturity A total of 75 new-born were assessed for the maturity and GA using the Ballard examination. The results are follows : 1) The score of each item of Ballard examination is propotional to GA using the Ballard examination as well as LMP. 2) There was a greater positive relationship between neuromuscular, physical and total maturity, and the GA measured by Ballard examination, than the GA measured by LMP. 3) Any stressful environment to the newborn could influence to the maturity of newborn. In summary, the study showed the Ballard examination Is more reliable and clincially feasible method to measure the accurate G4 compared to the GA by LMP. Therefore, it suggests the application of Ballard examination to measure the new born maturity and GA is beneficial in developing nursing process. The expansion of the study with the variety of the subject characteristics nil on hance the clinical applicability of the examination.

본 논문에서는 기본적인 TMMi 레벨 인증으로부터 정형화된 올바른 테스트 프로세스를 적용하여 소프트웨어의 품질을 높이고자 한다. 조직의 테스트 성숙도 수준 평가 모델인 TMMi과 테스트 프로세스를 개선 모델인 TPI NEXT의 분석을 통해 상관 관계도를 제안하고, 그 기반에서 조직의 테스트 성숙도 측정으로 테스트 프로세스 향상을 위한 가이드를 제공하고자 한다. 또한 기존의 테스트 성숙도 상호관련 메트릭의 보완 및 개선 통해 성숙도 측정을 도식화 한다. 제한된 레벨 수준의 사례로 TMMi와 TPI NEXT의 상관 관계도와 보완한 테스트 성숙도 상호관련 메트릭을 통해 조직의 테스트 프로세스 개선을 위한 가이드를 보여준다.

데이터의 품질을 평가하기 위해서 데이터 자체의 품질을 측정하는 방법과 데이터 품질을 관리하는 프로세스를 측정하는 방법이 활용되고 있다. 최근에는 조직의 데이터 품질을 보장 및 인증하기 위해 데이터 품질관리 프로세스의 성숙도를 측정하는 방법을 활용하고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 본 논문에서는 데이터 품질관리의 프로세스 성숙도를 평가하는데 필요한 프로세스 참조모델을 제시한다. 우선 데이터 품질관리 프로세스 성숙도 평가 모델의 개요를 제시한다. 그리고, 프로세스 성숙도 평가에 기본이 되는 프로세스 참조모델을 제시한다. 여기서는 프로세스 도출 방안, 데이터 품질관리의 기본 원칙, SPICE 프로세스 참조 모델의 기본 개념을 기초로 하여 프로세스 참조모델의 구성과 세부 프로세스를 개발하였다. 그리고 본 모델의 특징 및 개선점을 ISO 8000-150의 프로세스와 비교하여 설명하였다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate a student's career maturity during a career exploration program based on the ecological system perspective and to propose directions for the career maturation process to help H. Meister High School students to get jobs. A single-case 12-session career exploration program was applied to a first-year student at H. Meister High School in U. City for 90 minutes per session twice a week. To verify the effects of the program, this study conducted a pre-test and post-test of career maturity to analyze changes. In addition, the study qualitatively analyzed changes in the program activity sheets and process evaluation sheets per session. The results of the study are as follows: Firstly, the career exploration program based on the ecological system perspective conducted with the student at H. Meister High School improved the student's career maturity. Secondly, changes were observed in the scores in the sub-factors of career maturity between the pre-test and the post-test. Significant differences in the results of the analysis of the sub-factors of career maturity indicate that the program had a statistically positive impact on the career maturation process of the participant. In conclusion, as a result of the in-depth implementation of the program for 12 sessions, the participant expressed his desires which were clarified. In addition, a positive career maturation process appears to have taken place, owing to the self-directed program that led the participant to initiate plans and explore his career by himself. This study was conducted as a single case based on the ecological system perspective concerning career exploration and the career maturation process, but it will be necessary to expand the study to investigate the effects of group counseling, information exchange considering peer influences, common discussions on goal-setting, and other methods on the career maturation process.

소프트웨어 아키텍처는 소프트웨어 집중적인 시스템의 가장 주요한 부분으로, 아키텍처 평가는 시스템에서 매우 중요한 과정이고 소프트웨어 재앙을 예방할 수 있는 가장 저렴한 방법이다. 본 논문은 성숙모델을 통하여 아키텍처를 평가하는 새로운 방법을 소개한다. 기존의 성숙모델들은 소프트웨어나 소프트웨어 프로세스에 관한 것으로 지금까지 빠른 속도로 발전되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기법들을 소프트웨어 아키텍처에 적용한 SAMM(Software Architecture Maturity appraisal Model)을 제안한다. SAMM은 여섯 등급으로 구성되어 있다 제안한 성숙 모델 SAMM은 시스템 개선을 관리하는 발전된 아키텍처를 구성하고 소프트웨어 아키텍처 설계를 개선하기 위해 필수적으로 요구되는 아키텍처 요구사항들을 명세한다. 또한, 아키텍처 설계를 위한 노력을 줄이고, 질 높은 아키텍처를 구성할 수 있는 지침을 마련해주며, 아키텍처를 평가하여 등급을 매긴다.
