Procedural Improvements to the Comprehensive Impact Assessment of IMO GHG Reduction Measures

  • The International Maritime Organization (IMO) Marine Environmental Protection Committee (MEPC) may adopt actions after completing impact assessments and reviewing results in accordance with the original strategy and impact assessment procedure (MEPC.1/Circ.885). The assessment of the impact of greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction measures is an important step in determining whether to implement GHG regulations. This study identifies and proposes improvements in the impact assessment procedure for future mid- and long-term measures. Improvements for future measures should start with a review of "the procedure for assessing impacts on states of candidate measures" and "the actual process of the comprehensive impact assessment for short-term measures in 2021." The procedural improvements were largely derived from the order and period of task performance, the clear definition of terms, and the review of task results through lessons learned, analysis, and expert workshops. The impact assessment of future mid- and long-term measures should be procedurally improved to ensure uniformity and consistency, which will provide objective results for Member States and industries to help smooth the adoption of measures.

THE PRE-SERVICE SECONDARY TEACHERS' PRESCRIPTION FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS' ERRORS IN LINEAR FUNCTIONS

  • This study was subjected to 9th graders after making a conformity analysis about errors in function from a selected linear function domain learned in 8th grade, and using this we analyzed some errors learners have in the linear function domain. Learners showed the most deficiency in mastery of prerequisite facts concepts out of errors in linear functions and lack of skill in interpreting the content of the questions and technical errors occurred often as well. How the pre-service secondary school teachers prescribed these errors of linear function was analyzed from the point of problem solving strategies, accessing methods and whether or not the learner's error was used. Looking into the pre-service secondary teachers' prescription of the learners' errors in 3 fields, for the problem solving strategy a procedural strategy was used more than a conceptual strategy, and as for the accessing methods over 90% gave teacher led type explanations to the students. Also over 90% of pre-service secondary teachers did not use the learner's errors that turned up in problems.

PMO의 역량과 조직공정성이 IT 프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of PMO Capability and Organization Justice on IT Project Performance)

  • 본 연구는 PMO(Project Management Office)가 도입된 IT 프로젝트 경험자를 대상으로, 내 외부 PMO의 역량과 프로젝트 성과 간의 관계에 있어 조직공정성을 매개변수로 하여 영향 관계를 파악한 연구이다. 연구결과, 내부 PMO 역량은 절차공정성과 분배공정성뿐만 아니라 프로젝트 성과와도 직접적 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 외부 PMO 역량은 절차공정성에만 관련이 있고, 프로젝트 성과와는 관련이 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 절차공정성과 분배공정성은 모두 프로젝트 성과와 관련이 있는 것으로 확인됐다. 일반적으로 조직 내부에서는 프로젝트 관리역량을 충분히 갖추고 있음에도 불구하고, 프로젝트 관리의 공정성 객관성을 위해 외부 전문 컨설팅 기관의 역량을 도입한다. 그러나 절차공정성에 대한 검정통계량값의 경우, 내부 PMO 역량이 외부 PMO 역량에 비해 상대적으로 높고 유의성이 있는 것으로 드러났다. 또한 내부 PMO 역량만이 분배공정성과 프로젝트 성과에 직접적 상관성을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 내 외부 PMO 활동 수행에 필요한 인적 역량을 도출하는데 그 지표가 될 것이며, 내 외부 PMO 도입을 통한 프로젝트 관리 전략을 세우는데 기반을 마련했다는데 의의가 있다.

도서관 활용수업에서 사서교사와 교과교사의 협동수업 향상을 위한 교수설계 전략에 대한 연구 (A Study of an Instructional Design Strategy for Improving the Collaborative Teaching Between School Librarians and Subject Teachers in Library-Assisted Instruction)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 도서관 활용수업에서 사서교사와 교과교사의 협동수업을 향상하기 위한 교수설계전략을 개발하는 것이다. 협동수업은 학교 공동체에서 사서교사의 교수자로서의 역할을 강화할 수 있는 중요한 경영 활동이다. 그러나 협동수업의 실천 전략인 도서관 활용수업은 협력수준에서 이루어지고 있으며 자료 선정을 제외하고는 교과교사가 교수-학습활동을 주도하고 있는 실정이다. 도서관 활용수업은 자원기반학습이기 때문에 정보활용교육의 방법적 지식과 교과의 학습주제가 통합되도록 설계되어야 한다. 그리고 수업 준비 과정에서 나타날 수 있는 시행착오를 줄이고 성공을 확산시킬 수 있어야 한다. 이러한 측면에서 도서관 활용수업용 협동수업 설계 전략을 '협동수업 상황기술-공동설계-공동수업-공동평가'와 같이 설정하였다

공정성 조절효과에 따른 서비스 실패 관련 변인들 간의 관계구조분석 - 공정성 조절효과를 중심으로 - (Analysis of the Relational Structure among Service Failure-related Variables after Moderation of Fairness - Focusing on fairness-related -)

  • This study attempts to analyze relational structures among service failure-related variables after the moderation of fairness in the beauty service industry with the following purposes: First, it aims to review and investigate service failure & service recovery strategies, non-switching intentions after recovery, revisit intention, the intent to provide word-of-mouth recommendations and previous studies on service failure and recovery in the beauty service industry. Second, it targets the analysis of the role of fairness as a variable that moderates relations between service recovery strategies and post-recovery satisfaction in the beauty service industry. For this, the following research method was used: This study has investigated the effect of service failure and its recovery strategies (behavioral recovery strategy, psychological recovery strategy, monetary recovery strategy) on customer satisfaction for beauty service users and used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) to further analyze and verify the effect of the satisfaction on post-satisfaction behavior (non-switching intention, repurchase intention and the intent to provide word-of-mouth recommendations). The SEM was divided into a measurement model and structural model to determine if the model is appropriate and estimate the parameters of the path coefficient. In addition, this study examined to see if fairness (procedural fairness, distributive fairness and interactive fairness) works as a moderating variable while the service recovery efforts affect customer satisfaction. Then, the role of service recovery strategies, targeted to satisfy the customers who were dissatisfied because of service failure, were investigated. In addition, its effect on post-satisfaction behavior was analyzed from the structural aspect, and the moderating role was examined as well. Then, the role of the service recovery strategy, which can be used to satisfy dissatisfied customers, was examined, and the effect of the satisfaction on customer behavior was analyzed from a structural perspective. In addition, the moderating role of fairness was tested. As a result, this study is significant in that it helps service providers formulate service recovery-related strategies.

정교화 교수이론에 근거한 중학교 기술.가정 교과서 '건설기술과 환경' 단원 분석 (The content Analysis on the Unit of 'Construction Technology and Environment' in the Technology.Home Economics Textbooks of Middle School Based on Elaboration Theory)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 중학교 1~3학년 기술 가정 교과서 '건설기술과 환경' 단원을 Reigeluth의 정교화이론에 근거하여 내용체계를 분석하여 단원의 내용체계와 개선해야 할 부분을 살펴보고, 차후 교과서 집필 시 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 각 교과서는 12종 모두 절차적 방법에 의한 정교화 과정을 제시하여 내용체계를 구성하였다. 둘째, '건설기술과 환경' 단원은 선수학습능력의 계열화 전략으로 '생각열기'를 많이 제시하였으며, 요약자의 사용전략으로 단원을 끝부분에 제시되는 '단원마무리'를 중점적으로 제시하였다. 또한 종합자의 사용전략으로는 용어의 차이는 있지만 대부분 그 단원을 배우고 난 후 학생들의 성취 정도를 나타내는 '학습목표'가 가장 많이 제시되었다. 인지전략의 활성자 전략으로는 모든 교과서에서 '그림', '표', '도식', '용어설명'이 사용되었으며, 특히 '그림'은 인지전략의 활성자 전략에서 다른 모든 요소에 비하여 압도적으로 많이 제시되었다. 마지막으로 학습자 통제 전략으로는 '보충학습'과 '심화학습'이 각각 4종과 5종에서 제시되었고, '더 나아가기', '더 알고가기', '생각넓히기', '하나 더 알기' 등 다양한 용어로 활용되었다. 셋째, 정교화 이론의 7가지 교수전략 중 비유의 활용 전략은 교과서의 단원별 구성 항목에서는 거의 이용되지 않았다. 이는 Reigeluth가 7가지의 전략 중에 비유를 강조한 점과는 대조적인 것을 알 수 있다.

지역정보화 정책 수립을 위한 지역정보화지수 작성에 관한 연구 (The regional information index in major cities of korea)

  • This study aims at designing and calculating of the information index for efficient implementation of the regional information policy. The content and scope of this study are designing the struture of information index, measuring the informatization level in major cities of Korea and inducing rough idea for better performing of Korea information policy. Thereby we calculated tables ofinformation indexon seventy-eight cities in Korea from 1985 to 1994 and also basic strategy for better policy implementation. And we found that every citities share the benefit almost equal in the use of old media but not in that of new media. It can be expected that the bovernment will make a good use to get procedural validity in the course of designing some information policy based upon quantitative data.

인지갈등을 통한 개념수업 절차 모형의 점검틀 고안 (A Development of Checklists on the Cognitive Conflict Process Model Application in Science Concept Learning)

  • Many science teaching models have been devised and published for the students' conceptual change by researchers. However, the science teachers have been confused with so many models to be used in teaching science. Since the models are composed of ambiguous statements, it seems to be difficult for the teachers to understand their characteristics and natures. Therefore, the models were difficult to be adopted in science instructions. In this study, the researcher developed two checklists which were devised especially for the teachers who apply the Cognitive Conflict Process Model (the Procedural Teaching Model using Cognitive Conflict Strategy) in Science Concept Instruction. One is for planning instructions using the model, the other is for examining or analysing them. Each of them consisted of 20 items and 33 items, respectively. Using these checklists, the Cognitive Conflict Process Model can be checked whether it was applied properly in actual instruction or not.

인터넷 쇼핑몰 사이트 설계 속성들의 사용성 관점에서의 요인분석적 분류 (Factor Analytic Classification of Design Attributes of Shopping-Mall Sites under the View of Usability)

  • This research provide the basic information to enhance the user-orientedness of usability design guidelines for software products and an effective empirical guidance to classify design attributes of internet shopping mall sites. The results of analysis show that design attributes can be classified into the procedural attribute group, the shopping tool attribute group, the visual attribute group, linguistic attribute group, and others. The results show that shopping tool attribute group can be divided further into the search tool attribute group and purchase tool attribute group and that the visual attribute group can be divided further into the screen condition attribute group and the character legibility attribute group. The research reveals that when designers design software interfaces and features they should take the compound effect of a group of design attributes into consideration to enhance the usability of the system.

웹 기반 정보시스템의 지속적 사용에 관한 통합적 연구 : 인터넷 쇼핑 사이트를 중심으로 (An Integrative Study on Continued Use of Web-Based Information Systems: Focusing on Online Shopping Sites)

  • This paper develops an integrative model for IT continuance in the internet shopping environments by integrating the expectation-confirmation and the switching cost factors. Using this model, in addition, this study investigates their differential effects on the mediating variables, such as user satisfaction, commitment, and trust which have been identified as antecedents of users' IT continuance intention. Results show that the product and service-related expectation confirmation factors and the relational switching cost factor can have greater impacts on users continuance intention than the web site design factors, and the financial and procedural switching cost factors. In particular, it is interesting to note that relational switching cost can lead users to more commitment, which is revealed as the strongest antecedent of their continuance intention to use a certain shopping site.
