In this paper, we study a problem of a non-constant entire function f that shares a set S = {a, b, c} with its k-th derivative f^(k), where a, b and c are any three distinct complex numbers. We have found a gap in the statement of the main result of Chang-Fang-Zalcman [10], and with the help of their method, we have generalize their result in a more compact form. As an application, we generalize the famous Brück conjecture [9] with the idea of set sharing.

Knowledge management (KM) is emerging as a robust management mechanism with which an organization can remain highly intelligent and competitive in a turbulent market. Organization knowledge is at the heart of KM success. As a vehicle of acquiring organizational knowledge in a distributed decision-making environment, we applied a fuzzy cognitive map (FMM) technique and proved its effectiveness in a distributed knowledge management environment. Our approach was applied to the financial statement analysis problem, yielding a robust result.

The spectral content of ground displacement of the 10 largest last California earthquakes is studied. Specifically, the power spectral density function of the critical horizontal-component record of the closest-to-epicenter station is analyzed in each case. The results permit to state that horizontal ground displacement is a narrow-band process. This fact was previously noticed while trying to solve the large-base-displacement problem in isolated structures and it was fundamental in the solution of this issue; however, these preliminary results were limited in number to enable a statement like the foregoing one. Thus, the broader results presented herein were necessary.

Reliability calculation of a system is frequently required in industrial, military, and everyday life situations. For such a calculation, it is necessary to specify the configuration of components and subsystems, the failure mode of each component, and the states in which the system is classified as failed. In this paper, we are primary interested in the time to the first failure of a system. And we discuss failure probability of coherent system under various condition, especially focus on probability calculation of subsystem failure before system failure used by Bayes formula. Problem statement and general applications illustrated by several examples.

The target of this article is to modify the algorithm given by Fang and Huang [6]. The rate of convergence of our algorithm is faster than that of Fang and Huang [6]. A numerical example is given to justify our statement.

Fuzzy set theory has been extensively researched in various fields of engineering. In nuclear science, a significant influence of fuzzy sets can be noticed. However, applications of fuzzy set theory to nuclear engineering is novel. In this paper, we start with a basic statement of the decision-making process based on fuzzy set theory, and then apply it to nuclear science with some practical applications (a fuzzy decision making in an accidental release to the atmosphere as well as in a problem of land suitability classification). We believe that the use of fuzzy set theory in nuclear science has potential advantages.

우리는 여러 종류의 인과적 믿음을 지니고 있으며, 인과적 믿음은 합리적인 결정을 내리는 과정에서 중요한 역할을 한다. 이 직관을 발전시킨 인과적 결정 이론은 행위자의 결정이 합리적이라는 설명을 제시하기 위해서 그 행위자의 결정이 의존하는 인과적 믿음을 명확하게 밝히는 것이 필요하다고 주장한다. 그럴 필요가 없다는 입장의 증거적 결정 이론은 뉴컴 문제를 통해 반박된다. 그러나 뉴컴 문제의 다양한 형태 중에서 의학의 뉴컴 문제가 증거적 결정 이론을 반박하는 데에 가장 성공적이라는 일반적 판단은 잘못이라는 점이 본 논문에서 논증된다. 본 논문은 의학의 뉴컴 문제는 인과 관계를 명료하게 진술함으로써 오히려 증거적 결정 이론을 반박하기 어려워진다는 점을 지적한다. 이 과정에서 본 논문은 증거적 결정 이론과 인과적 결정 이론 사이의 차이점을 드러내고, 합리적 결정 과정에서 인과적 믿음이 정확하게 어떤 역할을 하는지를 밝힌다.

The science in elementary school has the purposes of having interest and curiosity in nature phenomena and things, of understanding basic concepts of science, realizing experimental know-how for students. And it also intends students to develop self-leading research ability and creative problem-solving ability through looking-in and experience about nature. However, existing science is accepted very hard and no interesting, just bothering to prepare more then a ability-developing or interest. In this report, I will analyze the study problems suggested in science textbook from 3rd to 6th grade, then find a new way for study problem suggesting and adopt it. It would help students have interest, approach problem without tense, understand problem exactly, and stand a concreat study schedule of experiment, observation, rearrangement, result interpretation that have students study by themselves. Because the suggesting way of science study problem statement is important thing to develop students' creativity and problem- solving abillity and to make self-leading attitude, I wish the exiting, veneficial, and waiting-for science class, through apply the newly developed methology suggested in this report.

본 연구는 현재 우리나라 고등학교 1학년 명제단원의 내용 체계가 수학적 논리사고를 함양하기 위한 기초 준비로는 너무 약화되어 있어, 그러한 명제 교육을 받고 대학에 진학한 신입생들이 명제와 관련된 개념 이해에서 많은 어려움을 보일 것이라는 가정 하에서 진행되었다. 이에 본 연구는 제 7차 수학과 교육과정에 따른 명제교육을 받고 지방 중위권 대학에 입학한 이공계 신입생들의 명제에 대한 이해 정도를 알아보기 위해, 대학 기초 수학 학습에서 요구되는 기본 명제 개념들로 이루어진 문제를 적용하고, 그 문제 해결과정에서 보이는 신입생들의 오류와 특징들을 조사, 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 이공계 신입생들의 명제 관련 개념들에 대한 이해 실태를 보고함으로써, 대학 수학 교육에서 수학적 논리 기초 개념들에 대한 지도를 어느 수준까지 해야 할 것인가에 대한 시사점을 제공하는데 그 의의가 있다.
