'채식의 날' 기후변화 캠페인이 소셜미디어 반응과 캠페인 참여에 미치는 영향: 부산 지역 대학생들을 중심으로 (The Influence of Veggie Day Climate Campaign on Social Media Responses and Pro-environmental Behaviors: Based on University Students in Busan)

  • 이상기후 현상이 심각해지면서, 최근 채식 권장을 통한 기후 문제 해결 캠페인이 새로운 패러다임으로 등장했다. 본 연구의 목적은 소셜미디어를 활용한 채식 권장 기후 캠페인의 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 구체적으로, 캠페인 메시지의 흥미도와 이해도가 소셜미디어 반응과 캠페인 참여 의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 조사하고 그 변수들에 대한 평소 채식 관심 정도의 조절효과를 검증한다. 이를 통해 소셜미디어를 활용한 기후변화 대응전략에 대한 함의를 이끌어내고자 한다. 설문조사 결과, 채식 권장 기후 캠페인 메시지로부터 지각된 흥미도와 이해도가 높을수록 소셜미디어에서 캠페인 메시지에 반응하고자 하는 의도와 캠페인 참여 의도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 채식에 관한 관심이 낮은 집단이 높은 집단보다 흥미도가 캠페인 참여 의도에 미치는 영향이 더욱 크다는 것을 확인했다. 이 연구는 채식 권장 기후 캠페인의 효과를 높이기 위한 구체적인 메시지 전략을 제시한다는 점에서 정책적 함의를 가진다.

관광개발 영향인식, 지역애착, 주민관여, 주민지지 및 친환경 행동의도 간의 영향관계: 제주도민을 대상으로 (The Relationship between Tourism Development Impact Perception, Local Attachment, Resident Involvement, Local Resident Support and Eco-friendly Behavior Intention: A Study of Jeju Island Residents)

  • Purpose - This study examined the influence relationships between the impacts of tourism development, local attachment, and resident involvement and local residents' support and pro-environmental behavior intentions in Jeju Island. Design/methodology/approach - A questionnaire was distributed to the Jeju Island residents and 373 samples were used for the analysis. Findings - The results showed that the perceived positive impact of tourism development has a positive effect on local residents' support, while the negative impact has a negative effect. Local attachment has no significant effect on local residents' support, while local involvement positively affects local residents' support. The positive impact of tourism development has a negative effect on pro-environmental behavior intention, while the perceived negative impact has a positive effect. Finally, when analyzing the relationship between local attachment, local involvement, and local support for eco-friendly behavior intention, it was found that they all have a positive effect. Research implications or Originality - Theoretical and managerial implications and suggestions for future research are discussed.

  • Cadmium is an environmental pollutant and exhibits nephrotoxicity, hepatotoxicity and immunotoxicity. Recently, cadmium was found to induce DNA fragmentation, a biochemical hallmark of apoptosis, in cultured renal cells, hepatocytes and neuroblastoma cell. Therefore, the various toxicities of cadmium are thought to be caused by the induction of apoptosis. Lipids-derived pro-apoptotic ceramide has emerged as an important intracellular signaling molecule that mediates diverse cellular effects, of which programmed cell death, or apoptosis, has attracted significant interest. 중학생의 환경에 대한 지식, 신념, 태도가 쟁점 기반의 환경문제 해결력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Knowledge, Beliefs and Attitudes about Environment on Issue-Based Environmental Problem Solving in Middle Schools)

  • This article investigated the effects of students' knowledge, beliefs, and attitudes about environment on environmental issue-based environmental problem solving in secondary school students. This article also investigated whether these factors are related to the environmental problem solving. Therefore, we first developed the test instruments to measure secondary school students' environmental knowledge, environmental beliefs, and environmental attitudes. Then, we developed the environmental issue-based teaching materials for secondary school students. The subjects participated in a environmental issue-based approach that consist of 3 lesson over an three weeks period. The results of this study presents that environmental knowledge and environmental beliefs are effective for the environmental problem solving in middle school environment class. First, secondary school students knew well ecological knowledge about environmental problem, and was entertaining most ecological beliefs. Second, secondary school students were having attitude which is most pro-environmental behaviors. Third, secondary school students are referring necessity of development partially about environment point at issue of country level. But, they were retaining situation of preservation about environment point at issue of area level. It's not easy to generalize these results because of many different variables, but the results suggests that teachers should make an effort to improve student's environmental problem solving ability applying environmental issue-based learning. And it's necessary to develop many kinds of environmental issues and teacher's instruction method to enrich problem solving ability in the process of environmental issue-based learning.

노래 가사 바꿔 부르기를 활용한 수업이 초등학생의 환경감수성에 미치는 영향 (Effects on Environmental Sensitivity of Elementary Students through Method of Rephrasing Lyrics of Songs)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of environmental education using method of rephrasing lyrics of songs on environmental sensitivity. In order to perform this study, 60 sixth-grade students in an elementary school in Seoul are selected and divided into two groups. Half of the students belong to the experimental group which undergoes environmental education using method of rephrasing lyrics of songs. The others are in the control group which gets traditional environmental education with textbook. A questionnaire was used to survey effects of environmental education using method of rephrasing lyrics of songs. The results of this study are as follows: First, it is found that the environmental education using method of rephrasing lyrics of songs is effective on building up the environmental sensitivity. Second, the environmental education using method of rephrasing lyrics of songs is effective on 4 domains of the environmental sensitivity - positive reception, expectation, disagreeableness and anger for environment and environmental problems. Moreover, the environmental education using method of rephrasing lyrics of songs makes the students in the experimental group have pro-environmental attitudes and behavior. This study revealed that using method of rephrasing lyrics of songs could be effective on the environmental education. Therefore, we have to provide a variety of chances using this method to enhance the environmental sensitivity.

  • [Met5]-Enkephalin (ME) secretion and the expression of proenkephalin A (proENK) mRNA were studied following long-term exposure of bovine adrenal medullary chromaffin (BAMC) cells to pertussis toxin. Prolonged (24 hr) stimulation of BAMC cells with pertussis toxin increased the secretion of ME as well as proENK gene expression. BAMC cells were also incubated with pertussis toxin in the presence or absence of other secretagogues such as nicotine, angiotensin II and phorbol myristate acetate.

제7차 중학교 ‘환경’ 교육과정과 청소년 환경교육 (Middle School Environmental Education of the 7th National Curriculum and Application to Teen-agers Practice of Environmental Education)

  • The Quality of human living depends on the environmental quality of the region sustaining the life. The environmental deterioration of the modern society is due to mechanical environmentalism. For the better quality of the life, The changes of recognition and attitude on the environments are required. These changes of mind are also important in environmental education for teenagers. The 7th national curriculum, officially anounced December 1998, focuses on the change of attitude to environments and practical behavior in real life for “Environments”, the environmental education curriculum in middle school. Basic elements of the curriculum are cultivation of the pro-environmental thinking, multi-levelling of teaching materials and methods, and encouraging of student participating activity. Actually, the curriculum construction is composed of stepped-levelling of teaching and learning, reasonable contents volume, encouraging of student practice, and suggesting of evaluation standards of textbook writing. Three main subjects of environmental education for middle school consist of (1) man and environment, (2) recognition of environmental problem, and (3) protection activity for environment. Methodology of environmental education can include multi-disciplinary approaches, variable teaching methods, and continuing evaluation of student practice and participation attitude. Environmental education for teenagers relating to the 7th national curriculum focuses on recognition of the environmental problems and practice activity in daily life. The recognition includes considering relationship of human life to environment, solving environmental problems in regional context, and development of comprehensive understanding concept of the environments. For the practice education, variable teaching methods, such as field survey and application of multi-media, are needed.

나권형 모듈을 이용한 압력지연삼투 공정의 에너지생산에 관한 연구 (Assessment of Power Generation by Pressure Retarded Osmosis Process from Spiral-Wound Membrane Pilot-Plant)

  • 압력지연삼투는 삼투압을 구동력으로 하여 에너지를 생산하는 새로운 막 기술이다. 압력지연삼투는 반투과성 막을 사이에 두고 삼투압으로 인해 저농도의 유입원수가 고농도의 유도용액으로 이동하는 것이다. 본 연구는 역삼투 공정의 농축수를 유도용액으로, 역삼투 공정의 생산수를 유입원수로 하여 8인치 나권형 막모듈의 성능을 평가 하였다. 실험에 사용된 유입원수와 유도용액의 유량은 2.4 L/min, 5.0 L/min, 10.0 L/min, 압력범위는 5 bar에서 30 bar이다. 유입원수와 유도용액의 농도, 유입유량, 유입비에 따른 공정 성능의 영향을 본 연구에서 확인 하였다. 중요 결과로 유도용액의 농도의 증가는 압력지연삼투 공정의 전력밀도, 투과수량을 향상시키는 결과를 보였다. 유입유량의 증가 또한 전력밀도와 투과수량을 향상시키는 결과를 보였다. 또한 최대 전력밀도를 형성하는 유입원수와 유도용액의 최적 유입비는 1:1의 비에서 나타났다.

산화촉진제 첨가가 플라스틱 필름의 물성과 분해에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Addition Pro-oxidant on the Physical Properties and Degradation of the Petroleum- derived Plastic Film)

  • 최근 지구온난화 심화와 환경재난 등으로 석유유래 플라스틱의 분해에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 플라스틱의 분해를 촉진하는 산화촉진제로 ferric ion(Fe2+)을 농도별로 첨가하여 필름을 제조하였다. 대조군으로 LLDPE필름과 산화촉진제를 농도별로 첨가한 필름에 UV를 시간별로 조사하여 인장강도, 신장율과 분자량변화를 조사하였다. 수지에 ferric ion 첨가량이 많아질수록 물성저하가 컸으며, 분자량 변화도 큰 것으로 나타났다. 인장강도는 대조군에 비해 산화촉진제 첨가필름이 조사시간 100시간 후 부터는 현저하게 저하되었으며, 이러한 현상은 신장율에서도 비슷한 것으로 나타났다. 분자량은 산화촉진제 첨가에 따른 결과로 UV 조사 50시간 후 63.6%, 100시간 후에는 73.8% 분자량이 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 플라스틱 필름에 산화촉진제인 ferric ion(Fe2+)을 첨가함에 따라서 필름의 강도와 분자량이 저하되는 결과와 김 등 등의 보고를 바탕으로 필름의 분자량이 저하되면 그만큼 필름이 분해되고 있다고 판단할 수 있을 것으로 사료되었다.

A Systematic Literature Review of the Environmental Upgrading in Global Value Chains and Future Research Agenda

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to provide a systematic literature review related to environmental upgrading in Global Value Chains (GVCs) and suggest possible future research agendas in advancing environmental upgrading and ultimately GVC boundaries. Research design, data, and methodology - The academic databases such as Science Direct, EBSCO, ProQuest and Google Scholar were explored using a structured keywords searches to identify relevant research in the environmental upgrading area in GVCs. Only relevant papers were selected after reading the abstracts, and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results - Overall analysis of the literature review suggests two critical developments in the field of environmental upgrading. The first and foremost major development is an enhanced understanding of environmental upgrading as a concept and phenomenon. The second significant development is that environmental upgrading has been empirically proven to be fundamentally based on relationships and power structures within GVCs. Conclusions - Environmental upgrading in GVCs has been studied individually and not in relation to financial outcomes and social upgrading. Hence, the relationship of environmental upgrading with financial outcomes and social upgrading needs to be investigated. Furthermore, the impact of the interaction of varying institutional structures on environmental upgrading is worthy of future study.
