잉크젯 프린팅을 이용한 연속 조성 세라믹 화합물 구조체 형성 (Additive Manufacturing of Various Ceramic Composition Using Inkjet Printing Process)

  • 3D printing technology is a processing technology in which 3D structures are formed by fabricating multiple 2D layers of materials based on 3D designed digital data and stacking them layer by layer. Although layers are stacked using inkjet printing to release various materials, it is still rare for research to successfully form a product as an additive manufacture of multi-materials. In this study, dispersion conditions are optimized by adding a dispersant to an acrylic monomer suitable for inkjet printing using Co3O4 and Al2O3. 3D structures having continuous composition composed of a different ceramic material are manufactured by printing using two UV curable ceramic inks whose optimization is advanced. After the heat treatment, the produced structure is checked for the formation and color of the desired crystals by comparing the crystalline analysis according to the characteristics of each part of the structure with ceramic pigments made by solid phase synthesis method.

The Domestic Trend of Studies on 3D Printing Technology Applied to the Fashion Industry

  • This study, by analyzing previous studies, aimed to understand how 3D printing technology is applied and utilized in the fashion industry and to contribute to encouraging further studies on 3D printing technology in the fashion sector and suggesting proper ways for designing such studies. Firstly, 47 papers were selected from all literature concerning 3D printing technology published in 15 journals of fashion and design since 2013. Afterwards, these papers were analyzed with regard to the frequency, topics or sectors, and purposes or types of studies shown by outcomes. Results were as follows: First, the number of papers on 3D printing technology published in the journals was counted according to the year, which showed that this number increased rapidly after 2015 for about 3 years. Especially in the year 2016, this increase was quite notable. Although a little decrease in this number was found afterwards, a steady increase was highly expected. Out of the 8 journals, Journal of The Korean Society of Fashion Design had the maximum papers. Regarding areas of studies, works on designing and development of products were most common. Finally, regarding the purpose of studies, those suggesting or presenting apparel were predominant. Product items included clothes, shoes, and caps. Studies on caps mostly covered designing the products. Studies on clothes aimed at designing, characteristics of construction, and case study. However, there were very few works on 3D printing technology as an alternative material or composition of clothing.

Use of 3D Printing Technology to Create Personal Fashion: UTAUT and Need for Uniqueness

  • This study investigated the perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors of potential consumers toward using 3D printers to create their personal clothes. An online survey and a series of Welch's t-tests and ANOVA were conducted to investigate the differences in demographic characteristics, prior experiences in 3D printing, and levels of need for uniqueness among the sub-groups. A multiple linear regression analysis was performed to test the relationships among variables of the modified Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). There were significant differences in gender and prior experiences regarding the UTAUT of personal 3D printing. The need for uniqueness has a positive effect on consumers' intention to use 3D printing technology for designing personal clothes and perception of the price of the 3D printer used to create individual clothes is important. Positive relationships were found between UTAUT variables as well as the use and purchase intentions. This study analyzed the potential for popularization of 3D printing technology to create fashion items and explore consumer willingness to embrace and use personal fashion designs. The results of this study are expected to assist consumers, designers, retailers and marketers, and experts in 3D printing technology by providing insight into consumer awareness and acceptance of personalized 3D-printed fashion and products.

  • The Rheological properties are important factors in printing process. Specially, emulsification phenomenon is a very important factor that decides the quality of printing products in lithography. In this paper, I investigated the flow characteristics depending on calcium carbonate concentration for emulsified inks. By applying the data of this paper, I which to predict quality of printing product in practical printing process.

인쇄 기술을 이용한 친환경 종이 혈당 센서 스트립 개발 (Development of Eco-friendly Paper Glucose Sensor Using Printing Technology)

  • In this paper, we developed an electrochemical glucose sensor strip using a paper substrate. The paper glucose sensor strip is eco-friendly because it uses paper as a substrate, and it has the advantage that it can be manufactured only with four printing, drying and cutting processes. The paper glucose sensor is significantly simplified by the production process than the conventional glucose sensors because the production of only four printing on the paper substrate. In this paper, eco-friendly tracing paper was used to develop a paper glucose sensor strip, and screen-printing technology was used to form a carbon/silver electrode, insulating layer and glucose oxidase(GOD) layer. The developed paper glucose sensor strip has a flat structure with a size of 30 × 4.6 ㎟, and blood injection is a type of direct contact with the exposed enzyme layer above the strip. In this paper, the performance of paper glucose sensor strips was evaluated by analyzing the cyclic voltammetry(CV) and chronoamperometry(CA) characteristics.

  • 본 논문에서는 장치의 유연성과 소형화를 위해 EHD 잉크젯 프린팅 기술을 이용하여 은 나노 잉크의 굽힘 특성을 확인하였다. EHD 기술을 위한 최적조건을 도출하였고 은 나노 회로의 굽힘 특성을 파악하였다. EHD 프린팅을 위해서는 재료 특성, 밀도, 유량, 전압, 토출 높이 등 각 파라미터 별 최적점을 찾아내는 것이 필수적이므로 작동 높이와 인가 전압에 따른 각각의 최적점을 도출하였다. 또한, 제작한 굽힘 장치를 통해 각 곡률 반경 별 저항을 측정하여 굽힘 특성을 알아보았고, 곡률이 증가함에 따라, 저항변화율이 급격히 증가하는 것을 확인하였다.

경남 의령지역의 문집 간행양상 (Aspects and Characteristics of Publication of Collections of Works Printed at Uiryeong(宜寧) Area, Gyeongnam Province Korea)

  • 연구는 경상남도 의령지역에서 간행된 109종의 문집을 대상으로 문집 간행의 구체적인 양상과 출판문화적 의미를 파악하고자 문집의 판종, 유형, 저자사항, 간행사항을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과 다음과 같은 사실이 밝혀졌다. 경남 의령지역 간행 문집 109종의 판종, 유형, 저자사항, 간행사항을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 판종은 목활자본(52종, 47.7%), 석판본(25종, 22.9%), 신연활자본(18종, 16.5%), 목판본(14종, 12.8%)의 순이다. 2) 유형은 문집(53종, 48.6%), 유집(47종, 43.1%), 실기(9종, 8.3%)의 순이다. 3) 문집 저자의 출생연도는 1318년부터 1902년까지 584년의 간극이 있다. 1318년생은 <경은실기>의 저자인 전조생이고, 1902년생은 <회동유고>의 저자인 전용기(1902-1978)이다. 전체 저자 104명 가운데 19세기 전기 출생자가 16명(15.4%), 19세기 후기 출생자가 54명(51.9%)로서 19세기에는 전체의 67.3%에 해당하는 70명이 출생하였다. 4) 109종 문집 저자의 성관은 모두 29개로서 담양전씨(15종) > 고성이씨(12종) > 진양강씨·탐잔안씨(각9종)의 순이다. 5) 의령에서 문집의 간행년도를 보면, 1610년대부터 1980년대까지 370년간 간행되었고, 1820년대까지는 문집이 목판으로만 간행되었고, 1850년대에 목활자본 문집이 처음 나타나며, 1930년대에 석판본, 신연활자본 문집이 나타난다. 6) 저자 사후 문집간행에 소요되는 기간을 살펴보면. 저자가 별세하는 당해년부터 사후 545년까지 간행되었고, 저자 사후 50년 이내에 63%인 69종이 간행되었다. 7) 문집의 간행소는 판종에 구분없이 조상의 제향공간인 누정과 재실에서 가장 많이 간행되었다. 이는 문집간행이 선조의 학문과 행적을 선양하고자 하는 혈연공동체의 사업이었음을 말해준다.

  • In the last decade, digital image processing technics have been rapidly developed according to the advancement of electronic technique, and total scanner and DTP system were developed. Specially, there is need to retouch the color and image on the CRT. In this paper, we described a method to display surface color of printing on the CRT, and an algorithm to simulate the color reproduction by offset printing. The experimental results show that the described method and algorithm are useful and valid on the computer simulation of the multi-color printing adapted process ink characteristics.

  • Printed thin-film transistors (TFTs) have received profound interests as an alternative to their silicon counterparts for use in fabricating next-Gen microelectronics by virtue of projected low manufacturing cost and certain salient features (e.g., thin and lightweight characteristics, structural flexibility, etc.) that printed TFTs bring to device architecture. The economic advantages stem from engaging low-cost printing techniques (e.g., screen printing, gravure, flexography, etc.) for deposition and patterning in place of traditionally costly high-vacuum, high-temperature photolithographic processes. To render printing TFTs possible, solution processable materials are necessary.

메탈 프린팅용 압전액추에이터의 특성개선 (Characteristics Improvement of a PZT Actuator for Metal Printing)

  • The purpose of this paper is to improve the hysteresis characteristics of a stack type piezoelectric actuator using system identification and tracking control. Recently, several printing methods that are cost less and faster than previous semiconductor processes have been developed for the production of electric paper and RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification). The system proposed in this study prints by spraying the molten metal. And this system consist of a nozzle, heating furnace, operating actuator and an XYZ 3-axis stage. As an operating system, the piezoelectric(PZT) actuator is a very useful tool for position control of the metal printing system. However, the PZT actuator has a hysteresis nonlinearity due to the ferroelectric characteristics of the PZT element. This hysteresis causes problem position control characteristics in the system and deteriorates the performance of the system. In this study, an investigation was conducted to improve the hysteresis characteristics of the PZT actuator that has an output displacement for the input voltage. In order to reduce the hysteresis nonlinearity of the PZT actuator, this proposed a inverse hysteresis model and a mathematic modeling method that can express the geometric relationship between voltage and displacement. In addition, system identification and PID control methods were examined. Also, it was confirmed that the proposed control strategy gives good tracking performance.
