  • 본 논문에서는 하나의 급전소자와 두개의 무급전 소자로 구성된 전 후방 지향성을 가진 비행체 탑재 능동 빔 조향 프린트형 야기-우다 안테나를 설계, 제작하였다. 제작된 안테나는 두개의 무급전 소자에 부착된 칩다이오드의 간단한 스위칭 작용(Open, Short)으로 지향성 다이버시티를 구현하였다. 그리고 모노폴 급전 소자와 두개의 무급전 소자와의 거리를 변화시켜 상호 임피던스의 영향이 고려된 최대 전.후방비를 찾았다. 중심주파수 1.81 GHz에서 모노폴 급전소자와 무급전소자간의 간격이 $0.25{\lambda}$일 때, 26.6 dB의 최대 전.후방비(Open-Short 또는 Short-Open)특성이 나타내었다. 이를 통해 후방에 있는 지상 통제소와 미사일의 비행 방향에 관계없이 교신 가능한 수신 레벨을 유지 할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Analysis of the Effect of Screen Printing Variables on Thick Film Thickness (스크린인쇄조건에 따른 후막인쇄물의 잉크층 두께에 관한 분석)

  • Four screen mesh counts of 100, 150, 200, and 305 threads per inch are chosen and a designed test figure is exposed on them for printing experiment to measure the ink deposit thickness. Among a number of variables, the ink viscosity, the screen gap and the squeegee pressure and speed are estimated with their effected thickness. These variables affect as much as around 50% compared with the theoretical ink volume listed by the mesh manufacturer and each variable has different influence on the thickness. The data and graphs have been analyzed for the thick film production.

Inkjet Printing on the Grain Leather: Evaluation of Line Image Quality on the Grain Leather

  • This paper addresses factors of line image quality on grain leather printed via inkjet printer. Lines were printed onto coated leather media, and line width, edge blurriness, and edge raggedness were evaluated for line image quality. Various factors influenced to wetting and capillary wicking were studied and found out that wicking through capillary between fibers causes significant feathering on leather surface similar with pulp capillary in copy Paper. Polyurethane and acrylic resin coating resulted good image qualify by reducing capillary wicking. The mixture of polyurethane and acrylic resin applied on grain leather satisfied with both image quality and surface hand. $AllWrite^{TM}$ ink brought best results of image quality, comparing with $VeraPrint^{TM}$ ink and $JetWrite^{TM}$ ink.

  • 3D printing has recently been used in various fields. Among various applications, 3D face data must be generated for 3D face printing. A laser scanner is used to acquire 3D face data, but there is a restriction that a person should not move during scanning. In this paper, we propose a 3D face modeling method based on a single image and a face transformation system to use the generated 3D face for virtual cosmetic surgery. We have defined facial feature points from the 3D face database for 3D face data generation. After extracting feature points from a single face image, 3D face of the input face image is generated corresponding to the 3D face feature points defined from the 3D face database. After 3D face modeling, 3D face modification part is applied for use such as virtual cosmetic surgery.

  • This paper presents an inkjet-printed plastic force sensor using PEDOT:PSS. Using a piezoelectric-type inkjet printer, the force sensor was manufactured by printing PEDOT:PSS ink onto a polyimide (PI) substrate film. Applying a vertical force of 0 to 100 N to the force sensor on the PI substrate with a thickness of 64 mm, the resistance of the force sensor increased in proportion to the input force by the length deformation of the PI substrates and the sensor pattern. As a result, the fabricated sensor has a characteristic of 0.001% /N with a linearity of 99.38%. In addition, as the thickness of the PI substrate film increased, the sensitivity of the sensor increased linearly. The fabricated force sensor is expected to be applied to industrial sites and healthcare fields.

By implementing Optimum Labeling Power Calibration for LightScribe, Labeling Quality can be improved. This paper proposes a new laser power calibration method using RFSUM signal.   • For constructing an intelligent multimedia database system for medical diagnosis, we are focusing on two technological points. One is a retrieval algorithm of databases, and the other is a coding algorithm of multimedia contents. For the first, previously we proposed a front-end database preprocessor called“keyword-network”, and in this paper we present its extended model providing an intelligent logical AND searching function especially for medical differential diagnosis. For the second, we present examples of multimedia intellectual coding methods for cardiovascular examination records.

  • On the process of cross-media color reproduction, a key feature is the use of gamut mapping techniques to adjust the different color gamuts between displays and printers. Even though a number of GMAs have been published, but there are no method satisfactory enough for more exect color reproduction. In this paper, the gamut mapping methods of nearest point clipping(NPC), centroid clipping (SLIN), straight clipping and cusp clipping(CUSP) were tested and analyzed with color difference, and a new gamut mapping algorithm based on variable anchor point method was proposed.
