  • The purpose of this thesis is to study multi-view fashion design with an analysis of multi-view art's formation and philosophical perspective. The production of unique artwork is dependent on how we see, think and represent what is around us. Multi-view art has great potential as a concept related to the continuity of time and space, it is not limited to space and time but it extends to infinitely, according to the artist's will and imagination. The study of time and space has been used as principles for deriving the formative of multi-view art, and the principles applied for analyzing multi-view fashion design. And the formation of multi-view art is reflected in fashion design. Simultaneity, deconstructivity, continuity and virtuality in terms of multi-view art are support the formation of multi-view fashion design, such as fabrication, expandability, concealment and transparency. As such, it is important to study multi-view fashion design as a creative design method with immense potential for further development.

  • Spatial perception and spatial structure that focus on psychological effects produce a real force through the medium of space that can control human actions, even their psychology. The job of understanding the characteristics and effects of architectural spaces that recognize the relationship between architecture and human beings, including the psychological dimension, is an alternative search for quality spaces that can increase the mutual relationship between space and human beings. This paper introduces two propositions called "space" and "psychology" in order to discover a meta-pattern connecting space and the human mind with the aim of systematizing that internal network and establishing a new architectural system concerning space and human beings. This paper also proposes a method of accessing physical spaces that can affect psychological states through a conceptual substitution called "extension," with the aim of discovering the implications inherent in such extensive relationships and proposing a methodology of organizing psychological spaces based on the characteristics of that extensive connection. The means of extensively connecting psychological spaces were classified into the three categories of memory system, sensory system, and motor system, and their corresponding extensive connection characteristics called "simultaneous relativity," "non-mediated immediacy," and "purification process" were also derived. These characteristics accelerate the changes in psychological intensity and function as principles that organize psychological space.

  • This study aims to disclose the dynamics of Daniel Libeskind Museums by the principles of counterbalance. Balance as a dynamic concept is the settlement of instability and tension and to draw overall sense of balance by controlling new perception elements that may cope with the unbalance elements. This is based on balancing compensation and can be explained as a counterbalance. Daniel Libeskind, a representative architect of deconstructivism, creates dynamic space by using oblique lines on the plane. The study was carried out under the assumption that this space would be designed under the certain principles rather than the result of momentary feelings and the analysis was conducted by the counterpoint of music and counterbalance. As a result, Daniel Libeskind balances in a way of forming the mutual right angle by using oblique lines which cancel out the unbalance in plane composition or making the same angle based on vertical / horizontal axis. Counterbalance has been achieved in the section and elevation as well as plane and complex and diverse oblique lines were worked under the constant principle not accidental results. The axes of Daniel Libeskind's architecture have been known to follow contextualism with symbolism and historicity but it was found that a design technique considering counterbalance was used in the overall control.

  • The problems with the small exhibition buildings such a small gallery and art center recently constructed did not make the characteristics of the place specifying and did not form a big flow in the line of urban connection. Also it was deficient in the image like a cultural space because of the commercial aspects of the individual buildings. According to this view, this study is to evaluate the exteriors of the small exhibition buildings that the public prefers on the psychological side as a design theory and then, it is to present the direction of desirable form constitution hereafter. In the design of the small exhibition buildings exterior that the public must prefers, the principles and techniques of constitution that operate are the most initiative as follows. As for the principles of unity in the constitution of the small exhibition buildings exterior that the public prefers, Eigen Value is 7.573 and the explanatory force takes 21.637% at the top and it plays a leading role. In the comparison of the appearance, it shows that it is a factor with the largest specific gravity. The next factors were grouped in good order: the balance, ornamental technique, change, shipping technique, rhythm, harmony, symbolic technique, area technique and adding technique. As a result, in the design of the small exhibition buildings exterior, the architects have to constitute the principles of balance, change, rhythm and harmony by most of the unity and the symbolic technique and form technique by most of the ornamental techniques harmoniously and have to give Identity like exhibition buildings.

In the modern society, the vast amount of, complex, and artificial forms of information such as big-data is accounted for the majority and claims of interest focusing on how to effectively design those kinds of information are being increased. This study explored the visualization methods applied with the natural objects as motives as one of the ways for users to easily get their perception and cognition to the information. Nature has long influenced on the human figural activities. The natural objects take the optimum visual shapes and provide the diverse inspiration and emotion to the designers in the various design fields such as product design, architecture design, and so on. Through the literature studies, we suggested the compositional principles of natural objects and the principles for observing and analysing natural objects as a principle to use the natural objects for information design domain. We, also, suggested the information design approach model which is inspired the natural objects by linking those two kinds of principles to the information design's visual realization factors and explored the possibilities of utilizing of the approach model by the case studies.

  • This study starts from the judgment that the evaluation about preserved flower package design has to be performed based on the product attribute. The principles and components of package design are reestablished from preceding researches, the product type model is suggested based on the product attribute. The 6 principles of package design are usability, esthetic element, attracting attention, creativity, identity and implication, and the 5 components of package design are form, material, color, graphics and branding factors. The product types are classified into 4 areas following the 2 axises. The 1 axis means the degree of perception risk on acquiring information and the other means the approaching type to expected effects about products. The characteristics of package design components are analyzed from the cases belonged at each area on the product type model. Based on the this model, the strategy of preserved flower package design is drawn. At last the package of 'Preserville' is analyzed, we find out the critical points and suggest the intention point in planning the preserved flower package.

  • This study conducted an exploratory factor analysis to examine how consumers' confidence on the local foods used at tasty farm eateries influence their purchase behaviors. The four factors of perception of local foods used at tasty farm eateries and the factors of consumer confidence and purchase behaviors were extracted for a reliability analysis, correlation analysis of variables, and simple and multiple regression analysis. The following are the findings: first, among the four factors of perception of local foods used at tasty farm eateries, safety, sociality and product value had statistically significant influences on consumer confidence, whereas regional economic value did not. In other words, safety referring to the nutritional value and sanitary safety of food ingredients used for the native foods at the tasty farm eateries, product value referring to the characteristics differentiated from general Korean cuisine, and sociality referring to the various related experiences for the interests in farm culture and local food, leads to consumer confidence, whereas regional economic value referring to farm household income, local job creation, and development of farm tourism does not. Second, consumer confidence had a statistically significant positive impact on consumers' purchase behaviors. Among the five principles of local foods, reliability is the most important factor. When consumers gain confidence on local food items and are satisfied with them, they make additional purchases and revisits. Therefore, confidence is a very important aspect for the loyalty and sustainability of business.
