The principal objective of this study was to assess perceptions and preferences of chungkukjang in elementary school children who used a school foodservice. In this investigation, 583 elementary school students(300 boys, 283 girls) in the Seongnam area were surveyed via questionnaire, and the collected data were analyzed using the SAS package. The results demonstrated that 82.0% of students responded that they were aware of chungkukjang. Female students were more aware of chungkulgang than were male students, and children of the nuclear families were more aware of those of the extended family. With regard to the origins of their interest in chungkulgang, 51.8% of the subjects answered 'through home education' and 35.5% learned about chungkukjang 'through mass media'. Most students recognized chungkulgang as a 'healthy food' and a 'Korean traditional food'. Approximately 44% of the students ate chungkukjang in the school foodservice once per month, and 41.7% preferred this menu. Therefore, in order to increase elementary school students' knowledge and intake of chungkulgang, the school should attempt to foster the quality of chungkulgang in nutrition education, to serve chungkukjang frequently in school foodservices, and to develop recipes for tastier chungkukjang foods for children.
It is common knowledge that a conventionally woven textile consists of two assemblies of parallel threads (warp and weft), one interlaced with the other at ninety degrees. Where each of the two assemblies is arranged in a particular colour sequence, a check design, known as a 'tartan', may be created. Although similar check-type cloths have been produced worldwide, it is the tartans of Scotland which have received most attention and it is here that a complex set of rules evolved and tartans of different types became associated traditionally with different regions, family groups or 'clans'. There is an impressive array of publications focused on the identification of tartans and their clan associations. This paper explains the nature of tartans, analyses typical surface structures, ratios and proportions, and suggests possible avenues of use for modern designers. The principal sources of data were a collection of tartans held at ULITA - An Archive of International Textiles (University of Leeds, UK) and Stewart's 1974 publication The Setts of Scottish Tartans. Based on the observation that divisions into halfs and thirds were dominant, a series of templates is presented with the intention of developing an awareness among designers that ratios and proportions used in familiar or traditional frameworks can be employed in a modern context.
The principal objective of this study was to assess dietitian's awareness and performance with regard to food suppliers' selection guidelines and purchase guidelines for the receipt of safe food materials. A questionnaire was administered to 203 dietitians working at an elementary school in Gyeonggi North province, and 190 responses were ultimately returned. Excluding responses with incomplete answers and significant missing data, 161 responses(79.3%) were ultimately utilized for data analysis. We determined that meat/poulty and seafood were purchased mainly by manufacturer's branch(59.8% and 78.3%), and processed food and kimchi were generally purchased by producer's cooperatives(47.7% and 44.9%). 78.3% of the contracts were made via informal purchasing and the frequency of contracts was less than 3 times per year(53.4%). Market studies were conducted individually(54.7%), and by group(47.2%). Dietitian and parents volunteered(50.3%) or dietitians, and school and foodservice staffs(45.3%) participated - together in receiving and inspection. School contracted with $4{\sim}5$(39.1%) and $6{\sim}8$ food suppliers(29.8%). Dietitians(42.3%) or school councils(40.2%) evaluated food suppliers once per semester(60.2%). The majority of dietitians(96.3%) conducted sanitary education for food suppliers once per semester (68.3%). All 13 guidelines which were usually used to evaluate food suppliers were thought to be important(more than 4) based on a 5 scale(1: never important, 5: very important). Among them, 'sanitary storage status of food products(4.85)', 'have a chill car(4.83)' and 'proper control of refrigerator, freezer and storage room(4.81)' were the most crucial guidelines. As dietitians evaluated food supplier's-observances of 13 guidelines, 'have a chill car(4.89)', 'hold medical examination of employees(4.89)' and 'hold liability insurance for handling product(4.80)' were fulfilled relatively well. The guidelines for conducting education for their employees(4.45) and keeping their establishment and equipment sanitary(4.79) were important, but were not observed well(3.39 and 3.37). Additionally, the difference between the importance and the observance score of the 'HACCP certificate' were fairly significant(4.44 and 3.54). Dietitians tended to report that purchasing management related to the removal of foodborne illness factors(4.71), return confirmation(4.50) and purchase specification(4.32) were important. The difference between importance and performance was highest in the process of changing food suppliers when the contracts were violated more than three times. Dietitian's age, education work experience and employment type had no observable effects on how important they considered purchase management to be, but their work experience significantly affected performance in terms of the removal of foodborne illness factors(p<0.05). As supplier management is the most critical factor, it is clearly desirable to educate suppliers at specialized training centers and to supervise suppliers in accordance with the established sanitary guidelines.

In this study, We tried to investigate the relationship between the Caregiver's Autonomy of duty and the Their innovation action at the present situation of awareness diffusion of caregiver's job autonomy and rapid aging increasing. We analyzed the factors effected to the innovative action by the caregiver's job autonomy and demographic factor, to the caregivers who work in Seoul. As a result of the analysis, it was found the factors that effect to innovation action statistically and significantly are job autonomy, work schedule, decision-making, methodology, age, education, type of facility, scale of facility and job title. In other words, the organization tries to invest enough job autonomy to caregiver in their environment and the organizational culture tries to encourage new idea is induct positive effect to the innovative action. In this regards, the principal requires ability to create environment that the caregivers can suggest new idea, and develop the management strategy to improve caregiver's job autonomy.

This Study is to propose the resonable management for cancer patients by identifying correlation among the treatment, their length of hospital stay and medical charges. Research subjbject is 144 patient that breast cancer, uterine cancer and Family Medical patients of inpatients in K University Hospital in Korea during six month, from January 1, 2010 to June 30, 2010. The analysis shows that the emergecy is superior range thag outpatient because each of them has 97.9%, 2.1% by looking at the path to admission. And the age of 40-49 is the higest group by age. When matrix components of breast cancer patients, principal component is composed of two axes. Factors associated with the first component appeared correlations between all variables without the age. Following results, this study is considered similar types of disease or treatments are need to introduce the DRG.

Two project-centered secondary school programs were studied as part of an effort to elucidate successful components for science reform-based curriculum development. The Teachers for Exciting Science (TES), and Foundational Approaches in Science Teaching (FAST) programs in Korea and U.S., respectively, are project-centered programs because their curricula are centered on the activities initiated and engaged in by the students. Students serve as principal investigators in their projects, and teachers serve as guides. Both programs were analyzed based on criteria such as curriculum design, teaching, lives of students, lives of teachers, evaluation of program, from the Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS). In the programs, teachers and students directed the development of curricula and their implementation. Students assumed teacher roles as mentors of other students. And emphasis was on development of communication skills through student-delivered talks and written papers, and professional development of teachers as educators and scientists. Participation in TES stimulated secondary school student interest in science, encouraged inquiry thinking, increased achievement in learning science, and promoted better awareness of science related to real life. FAST students practice laboratory and field techniques, experimental design, hypothesis formation, generalization, and practical implications of research as academic and applied disciplinarians. These project-centered programs have been successfully implemented in field, lab, and classroom curricula for secondary science education. Comparison of these programs will provide an opportunity for identifying key elements instrumental in successful implementation of guidelines for science education, as measured through successful outcomes.

This study is Low-floor(1~2 floor) for high accessibility, important management and a lot of locomotion. This study is analysis by floor of newly established schools in Chungbuk. Facility and space on the possible low-floor situated are classified administrative zone, health zone, student support + local exchange zone, STEAM(creativity, personality) supporting zone. The administrative area includes administration office, principal's office and board rooms. The administrative zone is located against schoolyard. Because it is possible visual control of schoolyard. also it controls visitor access so it is placed near main entrance. Health zone is located near a special class, counseling center and wee class for emergency situation. and is located near schoolyard for visual control. Student support + local exchange area includes library and computer lab, audio-visual room, auditorium or gymnasium. It put more emphasis resident welfare, culture and education. So it opens for local residents. It is located center of few stories or near entrance. STEAM(creativity, personality) supports science lab, art room, family room. It is possible such a theory class, experience class and indoor and outdoor class. It is located few floors. This study is used as a reference for school building projects planing.
Objectives The Behavioral Activation of Depression Scale (BADS) has been reported to be a valid tool for assessing the different behavioral aspects of depression, such as activation, rumination or avoidance, and functional impairment. The aim of this study was to assess the reliability and validity of the Korean version of BADS (K-BADS). Methods A sample of 196 outpatients completed the K-BADS and the data were analyzed for internal consistency and factor structures. An additional 51 outpatients re-filled the K-BADS after two weeks for the test-retest reliability. To test for the validity, the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), Working Alliance Inventory (WAI), Drug Attitude Inventory-10 (DAI-10), and Mindfulness Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS) were administered. Results Internal consistency of K-BADS was good (Cronbach's alpha=0.843) and principal component factor analysis revealed the four-factor structure. The K-BADS showed a reasonable test-retest reliability (r=0.863, p<0.001). The total score of K-BADS correlated significantly with the total scores of the HADS depression (r=-0.694) and HADS anxiety (r=-0.681). No correlations were found between the K-BADS and the K-WAI (r=0.170) and between the K-BADS and the K-DAI-10 (r=0.311). Conclusion The K-BADS is a reliable and valid instrument for measuring the behavioral activation for depression in Korean patients with depressive symptoms.

Purpose : Although quantitative research on alcohol consumption among nursing students is important, qualitative research is needed to determine the subjective views of individual students, such as their feelings and thoughts, and ensure the implementation of a targeted alcohol intervention program. Q-methodology is a systematic approach that examines the subjective perspectives of individuals, including their views, beliefs, and attitudes, enabling understanding of the types and characteristics according to the individual's subjectivity structure. This study examined the subjective perceptions of drinking among freshmen in nursing college using Q methodology. Methods : Q-sorting was conducted, collecting 38 P samples and 40 statements. The data were analyzed using the PC QUANL program. The principal component factor analysis method was used for Q-factor analysis. Results : The results identified four types of drinking perceptions among freshmen in nursing college. Type 1 was "safety and health pursuit," type 2 was "friendship pursuit," type 3 was "'norm-oriented," and type 4 was "sound manners." When looking at the subjective perceptions of drinking among freshmen in nursing college, there was a common opinion that drinking should not be forced and that it is an individual choice. However, the difference in views (positive and negative) of drinking shows the need for customized educational programs and interventions suitable for each type. Conclusion : Nursing freshmen should be prepared to play an important role in health care as an educational role and model in preventing damage from drinking and maintaining health promotion throughout their life by habituating proper drinking behavior during college life. In addition, it is necessary to develop a plan to increase positive awareness of drinking among nursing students through various strategic programs that can participate in sobriety prevention programs within the university.
Purpose: The global burden of disease and mortality is greatly influenced by malaria, particularly in children. Nigeria alone accounts for about 25% of global malaria cases and fatalities. Despite efforts to control and eliminate malaria, conventional treatments have limitations, prompting the need for a vaccine. However, while efforts have focused on researching and developing malaria vaccines, less attention has been given to public acceptance and preparedness for vaccination. Materials and Methods: The study employed a cross-sectional approach to assess the knowledge, perceptions, and readiness of caregivers towards the malaria vaccine. Data were collected through a physical and online survey among a representative sample of caregivers across the six geopolitical regions of Nigeria. The data was analyzed using principal component analysis and percentages. Results: Out of 347 respondents, 180 (51%) men, 165 (46.6%) women, 2 (0.5%) transgender, 156 (45%) rural settlers, and 191 (55%) urban settlers were identified in this study. The study reported an overall acceptance rate of 78.4% and 21.6% resistance rate. The age group between 21-30 years recorded the highest 207 (59.6%). A significant number of participants, 252 (59.6%), held at least a higher or post-secondary certificate, out of which 193 (55.6%) demonstrated strong readiness to accept the malaria vaccine. The study showed that fear of adverse effects was the main reason for malaria vaccine resistance among caregivers. Conclusion: This study's findings offer valuable insights into caregivers' knowledge about the malaria vaccine, highlighting the factors that impact the acceptance of the malaria vaccine.
