The Method of Evaluating The Potential for Conversion Legal Problems with Conversion And Basic Capacity of Vacant Onces in Tokyo

  • In Japan, the vacancy rates of office buildings have been at high in big cities since 1992. This problem is especially acute in Tokyo, where it is estimated that over 2.27 million square meters of office floor area will be oversupplied in 2003: big urban redevelopment projects will be completed in 2003. Under these circumstances, International Cooperative Research and Development on Sustainable Urban Management by Conversion of Buildings, called “SUMCOB”, has been carried out. This research aims to regenerate urban areas by converting redundant offices into flats, although instances of conversion are still very few in Japan. This paper introduces part of current results by SUMCOB, and discusses legal problems with conversion and basic capacity of vacant offices in Tokyo. It has been confirmed that there are no constraints concerned with Real Estate Registration Law (although it requires the change of the registration after conversion). and City Planning Law. However, some criteria are incompatible with Building Standard Law and Fire Service Law if the use of the building is changed from offices to flats. Typical incompatibility between offices and flats is lightening. If the buildings do not satisfy criteria for flats, the cost of renovation works for conversion will increase. To examine the basic capacity of vacant office buildings for conversion, field surveys in Tokyo have carried out at three areas: Kodenmacho (Chuo-ku), Toranomon (Minato-ku), and Iwamonocho (Chiyoda-ku). They are typical office areas that are included in center core of Tokyo. In Chuo-ku, the oldest commercial area in Tokyo, textile merchants have been located their headquarters. In Minato-ku, many rental office buildings have been located and several large scale redevelopments are advancing. Chiyoda-ku includes Marunouchi area, which is the prime office area in Japan. Thirty percent of the buildings in survey areas suffer from over twenty percent vacant floor rate, and fifty five percent were constructed before 1990. Especially most of buildings over forty percent vacant floor rate were constructed in 1980s. Vacant office problems haven't been seen in old buildings in Tokyo yet. The number of dwelling units made from office space will influence the conversion scheme. Seventy percent of the office buildings in survey areas have floor area of less than two hundred square meters. If they have been subdivided into two bedrooms type or three bedrooms type, the number of dwelling units in a floor would be less than three. The difficulty of conversion planning derives from frontage size, depth size, and their proportion. The five categories are proposed to grasp actual requirements for converting offices into flats.

도시홍수예보 골든타임확보를 위한 SWMM유출모형 단순화 연구 -대림배수분구를 중심으로- (A study on simplification of SWMM for prime time of urban flood forecasting -a case study of Daerim basin-)

  • 도시지역의 모든 하수관망을 사용하여 구축된 강우-유출모형은 그 규모가 방대하고 복잡하여 실시간 도시홍수예보에 적합하지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 상대적으로 도시화가 많이 진행된 서울시의 상습침수지역인 도림천 대림배수분구의 하수관망도를 이용하여 강우-유출모형을 구축하고 이를 단순화하였다. 하수관망 단순화는 노드의 누가유역면적을 단순화의 범위 산정을 위한 기준으로 설정하고 총 5단계의 과정으로 나누었으며 단순화 과정에서 SWMM의 모든 매개변수들을 면적가중치를 적용하여 계산하였다. 또한 하수관망의 적정 단순화 범위를 산정하기 위하여 유출모형에 5가지 단순화 범위를 설정하고 유출분석과 침수분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 유출모형의 노드와 관망의 개수 그리고 모의시간 모두 단순화 범위에 따라 50~90%까지 일정하게 감소하였으며 단순화 이전과 동일한 유출량 결과를 나타내었다. 2차원 침수분석의 경우, 누가유역면적별로 단순화의 범위가 커질수록 월류지점의 개수가 크게 감소하고 위치가 바뀌었으나 비슷한 침수양상을 나타내었다. 다만 누가유역면적을 기준으로 6 ha 이상에서는 상류부터 삭제되는 노드에 의해 나타내지 못하는 침수지역이 발생하였다. 2차원 침수면적, 주요침수구간, 침수심 등을 비교 분석한 결과, 누가유역면적을 기준으로 1 ha의 단순화 범위가 단순화 이전의 분석결과와 가장 유사함을 나타내었다. 본 연구는 SWMM 매개변수를 모두 고려한 하수관망 단순화를 실시함으로써 실시간 도시홍수예보를 위한 신속하고 정확한 유출자료 생성에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

천수만 일차생산자의 생물량 -식물플랑크톤 탄소량과 세포개체수 및 클로로필과의 관계- (Biomass of Primary Producer in the Ch$\check{o}$nsu Bay -Relationships between Phytoplankton Carbon, Cell Number and chlorophyll-)

  • 일차생산자의 생물량을 연구하기 위해 천수만에서 1985년 9월부터 1986년 8월까지 월별로 채집된 식물플랑크톤의 체적으로부터 계산한 식물플랑크톤의 탄소량은 $26.7-960.7{\mu}gC/l$의 분포를 보이며 월 평균 탄소량은 $58.6-684.7{\mu}gC/l$(연 평균 $208.5{\mu}gC/l$) 범위의 변화를 보인다. 식물플랑크톤 탄소량과 세포 개체수 및 클로로필 농도의 상호 관계를 분석한 결과, net plankton(> $20{\mu}m$)에서는 탄소량, 개체수 및 클로로필 상호간의 상관 관계가 밀접하게 나타나 이들 상호 관계가 주로 net plankton에 의해 좌우됨을 보여주고 있으며, nanoplankton(< $20{\mu}m$)의 경우, 상관 관계가 낮게 나타났는데 이는 nano-fraction이 제거하지 않은 picoplankton(< $2{\mu}m$)을 상당량 포함하고 있기 때문으로 사료된다. 중회귀 분석 결과 또한 식물플랑크톤 탄소량, 개체수 및 클로로필 상관 관계가 주로 net plankton에 의해 좌우되고 있음을 나타낸다. C/Chl-a 비율은 9.1-100.5의 범위로 변화폭이 큰데 net plankton의 C/Chl-a 평균 비율은 111, nanoplankton의 비율은 6.4로 나타났다. Net plankton의 비율은 높은 시기에는 C/Chl-a값이 높은 반면 nanoplankton비율이 높은 시기에는 기 값이 낮게 나타나는 것으로 보아 C/Chl-a 비율을 변화시키는 주요인은 식물플랑크톤의 크기인 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구 결과 C/Chl-a값의 변화 폭이 크기 때문에 클로로필에 일정 비율을 적용하여 탄소량을 추정하는 방법은 연안생태계에서 적절치 못한 것으로 판단된다.

RSA의 오일러 함수 𝜙(n) 해독 2kβ 알고리즘 (A 2kβ Algorithm for Euler function 𝜙(n) Decryption of RSA)

  • 대표적인 공개키 암호방식인 RSA에 사용되는 합성수 n=pq의 큰자리 소수 p,q를 소인수분해하여 구하는 것은 사실상 불가능하다. 공개키 e와 합성수 n은 알고 개인키 d를 모를 때, ${\phi}(n)=(p-1)(q-1)=n+1-(p+q)$을 구하여 $d=e^{-1}(mod{\phi}(n))$의 역함수로 개인키 d를 해독할수 있다. 따라서 ${\phi}(n)$을 알기위해 n으로부터 p,q를 구하는 수학적 난제인 소인수분해법을 적용하고 있다. 소인수분해법에는 n/p=q의 나눗셈 시행법보다는 $a^2{\equiv}b^2(mod\;n)$, a=(p+q)/2,b=(q-p)/2의 제곱합동법이 일반적으로 적용되고 있다. 그러나 다양한 제곱합동법이 존재함에도 불구하고 아직까지도 많은 RSA 수들이 해독되지 않고 있다. 본 논문은 ${\phi}(n)$을 직접 구하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 $2^j{\equiv}{\beta}_j(mod\;n)$, $2^{{\gamma}-1}$ < n < $2^{\gamma}$, $j={\gamma}-1,{\gamma},{\gamma}+1$에 대해 $2^k{\beta}_j{\equiv}2^i(mod\;n)$, $0{\leq}i{\leq}{\gamma}-1$, $k=1,2,{\ldots}$ 또는 $2^k{\beta}_j=2{\beta}_j$${\phi}(n)$을 구하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 $n-10{\lfloor}{\sqrt{n}}{\rfloor}$ < ${\phi}(n){\leq}n-2{\lfloor}{\sqrt{n}}{\rfloor}$의 임의의 위치에 존재하는 ${\phi}(n)$도 약 2배 차이의 수행횟수로 찾을 수 있었다.

위치종속임분조사(位置從屬林分調査)에 의한 개체목(個體木)의 경쟁지수(競爭指數) 및 흉고직경생장(胸高直徑生長) 추정(推定) (Estimating the Competition Indices and Diameter Growth of Individual Trees through Position-dependent Stand Survey)

  • 본 연구에서는 위치종속조사가법에 의해 소나무임분에서 조사된 자료로부터 임목의 크기 및 경쟁목과의 거리를 함께 고려한 개체목차원의 거리종속경쟁지수와 전통적인 임분차원의 밀도척도를 추정하고 이들을 흉고직경생장과 비교하여 경쟁상태에 대한 설명력을 검토하였으며, 경쟁지수가 영향변수로 고려된 개체목 흉고직경생장식을 유도하였다. 경쟁목선정방법에 있어 경쟁치단각도를 30도로 설정했을 때의 경쟁지수가 흉고직경생장과 기장 높은 상관관계를 보인 반면, 경쟁구역거리는 흉고직경생장추정에 대한 경쟁지수의 설명력에 미미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 개체목별 거리종속경쟁지수에 근거한 대부분의 임분경쟁지수들은 임분의 경쟁상태를 비슷하게 나타내는 것으로 평가되었다. 임령과 지위지수의 영향을 배제한 상태에서의 편상관분석결과 Alemdag의 평균경쟁지수 및 상대공간지수가 흉고직경과 가장 높은 연관성을 나타냈는데, 이중 개체목의 위치를 파악하지 않고도 비교적 손쉽게 파악될 수 있는 상대공간지수가 임분의 평균흉고직경을 추정하는데는 좀더 적합한 것으로 판단되었다. 개체목차원의 거리종속 경쟁지수중에서, 지위 및 흉고직경의 영향을 배제시킨다면 Hegyi의 경쟁지수가 흉고직경생장과 가장 밀접한 영향관계에 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이로부터 Hegyi경쟁지수 및 임령, 우세목수고, 개체목의 흉고직경을 영향인자로 하는 다음과 같은 흉고직경생장식을 유도하였다. $$dbh^{\prime}=3.975362676{\cdot}age^{-1.099274613}{\cdot}ho^{0.199893990}{\cdot}dbh^{0.269430865}{\cdot}HgCI^{-0.353643587}$$ 위의 식은 다른 조건이 같다면 지위지수는 흉고직경생장에 유리한 영향을 미치는 반면 임령 및 경쟁지수의 증가에 의해서는 흉고직경생장이 둔화된다는 일반생장법칙에 부합되어 흉고직경생장식으로 적합하다고 판단되며, 단목생장모델을 위한 함수식으로 활용될 수 있다.

빅테크 플랫폼 기업의 스포츠콘텐츠 사업의 특징과 시사점 : 아마존을 중심으로 (Characteristics and Implications of Sports Content Business of Big Tech Platform Companies : Focusing on Amazon.com)

  • 본 연구는 디지털 대전환이 빠르게 진행되는 환경에서 빅테크 플랫폼 기업들의 스포츠콘텐츠 비즈니스의 특징을 밝히는 데 있다. 구체적으로는 아마존을 대상으로 빅테크 플랫폼 기업의 시장구조를 살펴보고 이런 구조에서 스포츠콘텐츠가 그들에게 어떤 역할을 하는지 아마존의 스포츠마케팅 사업의 특징을 밝혀 빅테크 플랫폼 기업의 스포츠콘텐츠 비즈니스를 전망하였다. 양면시장 플랫폼 비즈니스를 기반으로 한 빅테크 플랫폼 기업들은 자신들의 플랫폼의 가치를 제고하는 전략에 스포츠콘텐츠가 존재하고 있다. 때문에 스포츠콘텐츠는 이들에게 플랫폼의 가치를 높이고 나아가 인프라와 같은 플랫폼 생태계의 시너지를 높여 수익을 극대화함으로써 독점적 지위를 공고히 하는 도구로 사용된다. 아마존은 대륙이나 국가별로 인기 있는 라이브스포츠중계권을 획득하여 이를 플랫폼에 공급하여 신규고객의 증가와 구매효과 뿐 아니라 경기단체나 팀에게 IT솔루션 서비스를 제공하고 다양한 프로모션 콘텐츠를 기획 공급하면서 광고 사업을 비롯한 아마존 플랫폼 전체에 시너지를 내고 있다. 아마존프라임비디오와 아마존 프라임에 라이브 스포츠 콘텐츠를 공급하고, 아마존 웹 서비스를 통해 다양한 스포츠 이해관계자들에게 기술적 서비스를 제공하고 있으며 동시에 광고주의 광고와 마케팅 성과를 분석하고 예측하는 아마존마케팅클라우드 서비스를 제공하면서 비즈니스 기회를 넓히고 아마존 전체의 가치를 높이고 있다. 이는 양면시장 플랫폼 기반의 빅테크 기업과 단면시장 기반의 레거시 글로벌 기업과의 시장구조의 차이에서 기인하며 디지털시대 스포츠마케팅 비즈니스의 새로운 변화라고 할 수 있다. 이 새로운 모델의 핵심은 라이브스포츠 스트리밍 중계권을 기반으로 한 다양한 콘텐츠 개발을 통한 비즈니스이며 스포츠콘텐츠 마케팅은 기존 중계권, 스폰서십과 함께 스포츠비즈니스의 주요 분야가 될 것이다. 아마존, 애플, 구글과 같은 빅테크 플랫폼 글로벌 기업들은 또 다른 새로운 글로벌 스포츠마케팅 기업이 될 수 있으며 현재의 스포츠마케팅 회사와 광고회사 그리고 팀과 경기단체들은 위기와 기회가 공존해 있다.

한국전쟁의 교훈과 대비 -병력수(兵力數) 및 부대수(部隊數)를 중심으로- (The lesson From Korean War)

  • Just before the Korean War, the total number of the North Korean troops was 198,380, while that of the ROK(Republic of Korea) army troops 105,752. That is, the total number of the ROK army troops at that time was 53.3% of the total number of the North Korean army. As of December 2008, the total number of the North Korean troops is estimated to be 1,190,000, while that of the ROK troops is 655,000, so the ROK army maintains 55.04% of the total number of the North Korean troops. If the ROK army continues to reduce its troops according to [Military Reform Plan 2020], the total number of its troops will be 517,000 m 2020. If North Korea maintains the current status(l,190,000 troops), the number of the ROK troops will be 43.4% of the North Korean army. In terms of units, just before the Korean War, the number of the ROK army divisions and regiments was 80% and 44.8% of North Korean army. As of December 2008, North Korea maintains 86 divisions and 69 regiments. Compared to the North Korean army, the ROK army maintains 46 Divisions (53.4% of North Korean army) and 15 regiments (21.3% of North Korean army). If the ROK army continue to reduce the military units according to [Military Reform Plan 2020], the number of ROK army divisions will be 28(13 Active Division, 4 Mobilization Divisions and 11 Local Reserve Divisions), while that of the North Korean army will be 86 in 2020. In that case, the number of divisions of the ROK army will be 32.5% of North Korean army. During the Korean war, North Korea suddenly invaded the Republic of Korea and occupied its capital 3 days after the war began. At that time, the ROK army maintained 80% of army divisions, compared to the North Korean army. The lesson to be learned from this is that, if the ROK army is forced to disperse its divisions because of the simultaneous invasion of North Korea and attack of guerrillas in home front areas, the Republic of Korea can be in a serious military danger, even though it maintains 80% of military divisions of North Korea. If the ROK army promotes the plans in [Military Reform Plan 2020], the number of military units of the ROK army will be 32.5% of that of the North Korean army. This ratio is 2.4 times lower than that of the time when the Korean war began, and in this case, 90% of total military power should be placed in the DMZ area. If 90% of military power is placed in the DMZ area, few troops will be left for the defense of home front. In addition, if the ROK army continues to reduce the troops, it can allow North Korea to have asymmetrical superiority in military force and it will eventually exert negative influence on the stability and peace of the Korean peninsular. On the other hand, it should be reminded that, during the Korean War, the Republic of Korea was attacked by North Korea, though it kept 53.3% of troops, compared to North Korea. It should also be reminded that, as of 2008, the ROK army is defending its territory with the troops 55.04% of North Korea. Moreover, the national defense is assisted by 25,120 troops of the US Forces in Korea. In case the total number of the ROK troops falls below 43.4% of the North Korean army, it may cause social unrest about the national security and may lead North Korea's misjudgement. Besides, according to Lanchester strategy, the party with weaker military power (60% compared to the party with stronger military power) has the 4.1% of winning possibility. Therefore, if we consider the fact that the total number of the ROK army troops is 55.04% of that of the North Korean army, the winning possibility of the ROK army is not higher than 4.1%. If the total number of ROK troops is reduced to 43.4% of that of North Korea, the winning possibility will be lower and the military operations will be in critically difficult situation. [Military Reform Plan 2020] rums at the reduction of troops and units of the ground forces under the policy of 'select few'. However, the problem is that the financial support to achieve this goal is not secured. Therefore, the promotion of [Military Reform Plan 2020] may cause the weakening of military defence power in 2020. Some advanced countries such as Japan, UK, Germany, and France have promoted the policy of 'select few'. However, what is to be noted is that the national security situation of those countries is much different from that of Korea. With the collapse of the Soviet Unions and European communist countries, the military threat of those European advanced countries has almost disappeared. In addition, the threats those advanced countries are facing are not wars in national level, but terrorism in international level. To cope with the threats like terrorism, large scaled army trops would not be necessary. So those advanced European countries can promote the policy of 'select few'. In line with this, those European countries put their focuses on the development of military sections that deal with non-military operations and protection from unspecified enemies. That is, those countries are promoting the policy of 'select few', because they found that the policy is suitable for their national security environment. Moreover, since they are pursuing common interest under the European Union(EU) and they can form an allied force under NATO, it is natural that they are pursing the 'select few' policy. At present, NATO maintains the larger number of troops(2,446,000) than Russia(l,027,000) to prepare for the potential threat of Russia. The situation of japan is also much different from that of Korea. As a country composed of islands, its prime military focus is put on the maritime defense. Accordingly, the development of ground force is given secondary focus. The japanese government promotes the policy to develop technology-concentrated small size navy and air-forces, instead of maintaining large-scaled ground force. In addition, because of the 'Peace Constitution' that was enacted just after the end of World War II, japan cannot maintain troops more than 240,000. With the limited number of troops (240,000), japan has no choice but to promote the policy of 'select few'. However, the situation of Korea is much different from the situations of those countries. The Republic of Korea is facing the threat of the North Korean Army that aims at keeping a large-scale military force. In addition, the countries surrounding Korea are also super powers containing strong military forces. Therefore, to cope with the actual threat of present and unspecified threat of future, the importance of maintaining a carefully calculated large-scale military force cannot be denied. Furthermore, when considering the fact that Korea is in a peninsular, the Republic of Korea must take it into consideration the tradition of continental countries' to maintain large-scale military powers. Since the Korean War, the ROK army has developed the technology-force combined military system, maintaining proper number of troops and units and pursuing 'select few' policy at the same time. This has been promoted with the consideration of military situation in the Koran peninsular and the cooperation of ROK-US combined forces. This kind of unique military system that cannot be found in other countries can be said to be an insightful one for the preparation for the actual threat of North Korea and the conflicts between continental countries and maritime countries. In addition, this kind of technology-force combined military system has enabled us to keep peace in Korea. Therefore, it would be desirable to maintain this technology-force combined military system until the reunification of the Korean peninsular. Furthermore, it is to be pointed out that blindly following the 'select few' policy of advanced countries is not a good option, because it is ignoring the military strategic situation of the Korean peninsular. If the Republic of Korea pursues the reduction of troops and units radically without consideration of the threat of North Korea and surrounding countries, it could be a significant strategic mistake. In addition, the ROK army should keep an eye on the fact the European advanced countries and Japan that are not facing direct military threats are spending more defense expenditures than Korea. If the ROK army reduces military power without proper alternatives, it would exert a negative effect on the stable economic development of Korea and peaceful reunification of the Korean peninsular. Therefore, the desirable option would be to focus on the development of quality of forces, maintaining proper size and number of troops and units under the technology-force combined military system. The tableau above shows that the advanced countries like the UK, Germany, Italy, and Austria spend more defense expenditure per person than the Republic of Korea, although they do not face actual military threats, and that they keep achieving better economic progress than the countries that spend less defense expenditure. Therefore, it would be necessary to adopt the merits of the defense systems of those advanced countries. As we have examined, it would be desirable to maintain the current size and number of troops and units, to promote 'select few' policy with increased defense expenditure, and to strengthen the technology-force combined military system. On the basis of firm national security, the Republic of Korea can develop efficient policies for reunification and prosperity, and jump into the status of advanced countries. Therefore, the plans to reduce troops and units in [Military Reform Plan 2020] should be reexamined. If it is difficult for the ROK army to maintain its size of 655,000 troops because of low birth rate, the plans to establish the prompt mobilization force or to adopt drafting system should be considered for the maintenance of proper number of troops and units. From now on, the Republic of Korean government should develop plans to keep peace as well as to prepare unexpected changes in the Korean peninsular. For the achievement of these missions, some options can be considered. The first one is to maintain the same size of military troops and units as North Korea. The second one is to maintain the same level of military power as North Korea in terms of military force index. The third one is to maintain the same level of military power as North Korea, with the combination of the prompt mobilization force and the troops in active service under the system of technology-force combined military system. At present, it would be not possible for the ROK army to maintain such a large-size military force as North Korea (1,190,000 troops and 86 units). So it would be rational to maintain almost the same level of military force as North Korea with the combination of the troops on the active list and the prompt mobilization forces. In other words, with the combination of the troops in active service (60%) and the prompt mobilization force (40%), the ROK army should develop the strategies to harmonize technology and forces. The Korean government should also be prepared for the strategic flexibility of USFK, the possibility of American policy change about the location of foreign army, radical unexpected changes in North Korea, the emergence of potential threat, surrounding countries' demand for Korean force for the maintenance of regional stability, and demand for international cooperation against terrorism. For this, it is necessary to develop new approaches toward the proper number and size of troops and units. For instance, to prepare for radical unexpected political or military changes in North Korea, the Republic of Korea should have plans to protect a large number of refugees, to control arms and people, to maintain social security, and to keep orders in North Korea. From the experiences of other countries, it is estimated that 115,000 to 230,000 troops, plus ten thousands of police are required to stabilize the North Korean society, in the case radical unexpected military or political change happens in North Korea. In addition, if the Republic of Korea should perform the release of hostages, control of mass destruction weapons, and suppress the internal wars in North Korea, it should send 460,000 troops to North Korea. Moreover, if the Republic of Korea wants to stop the attack of North Korea and flow of refugees in DMZ area, at least 600,000 troops would be required. In sum, even if the ROK army maintains 600,000 troops, it may need additional 460,000 troops to prepare for unexpected radical changes in North Korea. For this, it is necessary to establish the prompt mobilization force whose size and number are almost the same as the troops in active service. 의성지역 백악기 암석에 대한 고자기 연구 (Palaeomagnetism of Cretaceous Rocks in the Ǔisǒng Area, Kyǒngsang Basin, Korea)

  • The Cretaceous Kyongsang Basin is known to be composed of several tectonic blocks (or subbasins) with each distinct stratigraphic succession. The study area represents a major part of one of these blocks, i. e. the $\check{U}is\check{o}ng$ block. The area is charaterized by a suite of WNW-trending sinistral strike-slip faults as well as a number of ring faults. A total of 292 independently oriented core samples were drilled from 23 sites, covering virtually all the formations of the Cretaceous $Ky\check{o}ngsang$ Supergroup. Alternating field and thermal demagnetization experiments were conducted to reveal the primary magnetization. Due to the homoclinal nature of the strata in the area, it was not possible to make use of the conventional fold test It is, however, believed that the primary remanent components have been obtained from the majority of the formations, considering the similarity of the palaeomagnetic pole positions with those of contemporary strata of other blocks and the existence of antiparallel reversed remanence. It was found neither any significant difference in magnetic declination on each side of the strike-slip faults nor systematic change of magnetic declination with distance from the fault-line. This does not support such a block rotation hypothesis associated with the strike-slip faulting in the area as alleged by some authors. The samples from the outcrops on or near the fault-lines were severely overprinted by the recent magnetic fields regardless of age and lithology. Epithermal Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn mineralizations are known along some fault lines in the area. It is interpreted that these two facts are closely related with fluid circulations along the fracture zones caused by fault activities. In regard to the age of the strata as deduced from the magnetostratigraphic consideration, the $Ch\check{o}mgok$ formation and the lower strata should be older than Barremian or 124 Ma. The age of volcanics of the $Yuch^{\prime}\check{o}n$ Group sampled in this study should be younger than Campanian or 83 Ma.

한국 여성단체의 아동복사활동의 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Child Welfare Activities in the Korean Women's Organizations)

  • This study attempts to shed additional light on the national diffusion process and interaction of welfare services for children and mothers. The central hypothesis examined is the following : In general, the implant of social welfare system is first considered on the characteristics of their own socio-economics , and diffusion prodess of welfare services tends to occur faster in countries with open sicieties than in countries where entry barriers are high and society ranking rigid. The scope of the study is limited in several ways. Attention is concentrated on the agency of woman in the belief that an in-depth case study of one field can yield more insight than a less detailed investigation embracing a number of social welfare systems. The angency of woman is selected for several reasons. a) It is important the agency of woman alone produce more effective than services affecting both the child welfare and women's libertion bradually. Moreover, these services will form the heart of mother's welfare. b) The services of women's agency is gradually wide spread, since a role of government is still negligible before a full realization of economic income. c) The services of women agency is a prime example of a social welfare. d) statistical data and other information are more readily available. One of major findings of our study is the existence of the barriers inhibiting child welfare form " motherhood cult". Despite all the distinct advantages for mother and child , social attitudes appear to be some resistant on child welfare system among men and women even the agenices of women. What is surprised is the extent of the awareness that strategies of women's agency to liberate woman and to increate activities of women involve the strategies to liberate child. The conviction that solving application problems for child welfare in line with the activities of agency by women offer greater freedom and more advantage to mother are not apparent on the data collected from 18 of multi-functional agencies in our country. there are little sign that such agencies cooperate toward attainment of common goals. The intensive early focus of the movement on consciousness raising is a necessary beginning and such efforts by women's organizations would help both in the continuous evolution of women and child. Some of the agencies offer a variety of services to women and children, others are specialized in that they offer fewer services or even only one. Social welfare agenices giving service to children and their families are identified by various names usually women service and child welfare from govern , mental agency and voluntary public agency to foreign aided. What is totally missing , however, is an integrated synthesis of child welfare program Through women's agency. Social changes to occur, but delineation of appropriate and comprehensive social policy is also necessary at this point at this point since efforts, social changes and polices must be well coordianted and focused, as well as mutually supprotive and reinforcing.

온라인 시민저널리즘 양상과 시민 영향력에 관한 한.미 간 비교 연구 - '유가' 관련 보도를 중심으로 (A Comparative Study on Online Civic Journalism Practice and Civic Influence in the U.S. and Korea - Focus on News about the 'Oil Price')

  • 미국 사회에서 1980년대에 시작된 시민저널리즘(civic journalism)이 한국에서는 2000년대에 들어와서야 그 자리를 잡고 활성화되기 시작했다. 기성 저널리즘의 구조적인 문제점들을 보완하기 위해 태동한 대안 저널리즘으로서의 시민저널리즘은 증가하는 온라인 시민기자와 온라인 뉴스 미디어 확산에 의해 새로운 국면을 맞이하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라, 두 나라의 시민저널리즘 양상과 그 실천에 있어서의 시민 영향력이 몇몇의 요인에 따라 유의미하게 차이를 드러낸다는 사실에 주목하며 본 연구에서는 그 요인들을 찾아내고 두 나라의 온라인 시민저널리즘을 실증적으로 비교 분석하고자 한다. 이러한 목적 하에 미국의 CNN "iReport", 한국의 "오마이뉴스"라는 양국의 대표적 온라인 시민저널리즘을 다음과 같은 4가지 측면에서 분석하였다: 탈객관주의 정도, 사회 문제에 대한 해결책 모색, 기사의 생산과 소비에 미치는 시민의 영향력 정도. 그 결과로, 미국의 시민저널리즘에서는 전통적인 저널리즘의 객관주의로부터 벗어난 경우가 많고, 사회 문제에 대한 대안 및 해결책 모색과 시민 기자의 활용 정도에 있어서 한국의 시민저널리즘보다 앞서 있다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 또한 기사 의제 설정에 있어서의 시민 의견 반영 정도나 생산된 기사에 대한 시민 참여 및 영향력에 있어서도 한국의 시민저널리즘보다 발전된 모습을 보이고 있었다. 그에 반해, 한국의 시민저널리즘은 기사 의제 설정에 있어서의 여론 조사 반영에 있어서만 미국의 저널리즘보다 앞서 있었고, 정부와 관련된 특정 이슈에 대한 기사에 대해서만 시민의 영향력 이 미치는 특징을 나타냈다.
