  • The interface between two different materials in the insulation systems is the weak-link in the underground power transmission systems, In this paper, Optimum conditions of the interface between Epoxy and EPDM is studied. The variation factor condition of interface is roughness of surface, spreading of oils, interfacial pressure and temperature. The breakdown times under the constant voltage below the breakdown voltage were also gained. The breakdown voltage at the after laying time equivalent to is calculated by the V-t characteristic and the inverse power law. When this is done, the characteristic life exponent n is used and the long time breakdown voltage can be evaluated.

  • In order to solve the problem of traffic holdups and environmental pollution(contamination), several metropolises are operating the subway and many local government plans hereafter the light rail vehicle operation and it is in the process of preparing. This point of time, it need to evaluate the comfortable characteristic of the seat which is closely connected with passenger and it should be reflected to the product design through the data analysis. The methods of the comfortable characteristic evaluation should be considered to various methods from physical factor to psychological factor. Among these, the most universal and possible quantitative measurement estimate through 'Body pressure measurement system'. From this paper, it was measured the body pressure of the subway seat which is in the process of operating in a domestic and it will be compared and analyzed the material & seat shape, so we evaluated the comfortable characteristic of the short-distance transportation railway vehicle. It was operated the man and woman who belongs in standard shape of Korean, we compared and analyzed the Peak position where the body pressure is visible and body pressure spread out.

동맥압 형태를 고려한 오실로메트릭 모델분석 (Analysis of Oscillometric Model based on Shape of Arterial Pressure)

  • 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 동맥압 파형 형태에 대한 오실로메트릭 방법을 분석하고 수축기압과 이완기압을 검출할 수 있는 새로운 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 동맥압 파형 형태에 대한 오실로메트릭 방법을 분석하고 수축기압과 이완기압을 검출할 수 있는 새로운 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 동맥압 파형 형태에 대한 오실로메트릭 방법을 분석하기 위해 동맥압 파형 형태를 쉽게 가변할 수 있는 동맥압 모델을 만들었으며, 기존의 정적인 동맥 압력-용적 지수함수 모델을 이용하여 오실로메트릭 모델의 구현 및 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 동맥압 파형 형태와 보편화된 혈압 검출 기준인 특성비율과의 상관관계 분석을 통하여 동맥압 파형 형태와 맥압의 영향 때문에 특성비율이 수축기압과 이완기압을 결정하는 유일한 기준이 될 수 없음을 밝혔으며, 동맥압 파형 형태와 오실레이션 파형 형태의 상관관계 분석을 통하여 오실레이션 파형으로부터 동맥압 파형 형태를 추정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 최대 크기 오실레이션 파형과 동맥압 파형의 관계로부터 맥압을 구할 수 있는 맥압 표를 구성하여 수축기압과 이완기압을 검출할 수 있는 혈압 검출 알고리즘을 제시하였으며 그 결과 수축압, 이완압, 평균압의 절대편차 평균값은 각각 1.62%, 2.40%, 2.20%를 얻었다. 결론적으로 제안된 알고리즘은 정확한 혈압검출을 위한 유용 가능성을 보였다.

  • 혈압을 측정하는 방법에는 침습적(Invasive)인 방법과 비침습적(Non-invasive)인 방법이 있는데 침습적인 방법에 의한 혈압측정의 경우 정확한 값을 얻는 반면에 그 사용법이 복잡하고 환자에게 불편하므로 중환자의 경우를 제외한 경우 대부분 비침습적인 방법에 의해 혈압을 측정한다. 현재 전자 혈압계의 경우 대부분이 오실로메트릭(Oscillometric) 방법을 사용하여 기본적인 시스템을 구성하고 여기에 여러 가지 알고리즘을 부가적으로 적용하고 있다. 본 연구에서 이러한 혈압 측정 시스템을 개발하기 위해 커프(Cuff)의 압력을 제어, 측정하고 측정된 데이터를 필터링하여 혈압을 측정할 수 있도록 알고리즘을 구성하였다. 통신방식으로는 개발된 시스템의 모든 기능이 개인용 컴퓨터(Personal Computer)와의 통신을 통해 이루어지도록 구성되어져 있으며, 사용된 통신방식은 비동기 직렬 통신 방식(RS-232)인 패킷방식을 사용하였고 솔레노이드(Solenoid) 밸브를 이용한 자동 또는 급속 배기 방법을 이용하여 커프의 압력을 감압(Deflation)하였다. 혈압측정 알고리즘은 기본적인 오실로메트릭 방법과 최대 진폭 알고리즘(Maximum Amplitude Algorithm)을 사용하였다. 최대진폭 알고리즘에서는 측정된 오실레이션(Oscillation)중 최고의 진폭을 가지는 오실레이션 같은 오차의 원인이 되는 연령이나 체중, 팔의 두께에 따라 다양하게 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 오실레이션의 간에 획일적인 비율을 적용하지 않고 여러 가지 요인들에 대한 가변적인 특정 비율(Characteristic Ratio)반영하여 보다 정확한 최고혈압(Systolic Blood Pressure), 최저혈압(Diastolic Blood Pressure), 평균혈압(Mean Blood Pressure)의 값을 구하는 연구를 하였다. 최고진폭 알고리즘에서 가변적인 특성비율의 적용은 혈압간의 오차를 줄일 수 있을것으로 기대된다.

  • The structural characteristics of a small scale rice polisher was analyzed to improve its performance. Spraying characteristic of nozzles used for rice polishing was also analyzed by a machine vision system. The internal pressure of the polishing chamber was measured according to outlet resistance, water spraying, and roller shaft speed. In addition, the performance of the rice polisher was evaluated to improve it in the basis of internal pressure in polishing chamber, whiteness, and broken rice ratio of clean rice according to the operating conditions. Actual nozzle discharge rate and drop size were 125 cc/min and 86~97 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, respectively. In the case of water spraying on rices, the internal pressure showed 4.9~9.8N/$\textrm{cm}^2$ increase. broken rice ratio decreased, and there was no difference in whiteness. The internal pressure inueased up to two times with the increase of the outlet resistance. Also, the pressure at the upper part of screen was one and half times as high as the pressure at the lower part. In the case of water spraying rate of 150 cc/min, the roller shaft speed of 850 rpm resulted in no difference in whiteness and decrease of 0.3% in broken rice ratio, comparing to the roller shaft speed of 950 rpm.

  • The purpose of this paper was to investigate the overburden effect on soil-water characteristic curve and unsaturated permeability of unsaturated weathered soils. For this, unsaturated suction and permeability tests under various overburden stress were conducted respectively. Then, the coefficient of unsaturated permeability and moisture capacity of weathered soils were estimated and compared. All these results are presented in the paper.

  • The reciprocating type hydrogen compressor has a pulsation due to the reciprocative characteristics which results in noise and vibration. Snubber is installed for the relaxation of pulsation, but it causes reduction of compressor efficiency because of pressure loss. Five types of snubber were modeled for the numerical investigation of the effect of the relative position of inlet and outlet and buffer angle on the pulsation amplitude and pressure loss. MSC/NASTRAN is used as a numerical tool to identify the vibration characteristic of each type. Frequency responses in forced vibration mode are compared for various cases and buffer angles.

  • In this study, the optimal design of the multi-cavity mold layout and packing pressure for the automobile TCU connector cover is determined based on the injection molding analysis and the desirability function method for multi-characteristic optimization. The design characteristics to be optimized are the warpage and sink marks of the product, the scrap of the feed system, and the clamping force. The optimal design is determined by performing injection molding analysis and desirability analysis for design alternatives defined by a complete combination of five mold layouts and six-level packing pressure. The optimal design shows that the desirability values for individual characteristics are quite high and balanced, and the resulting values of individual characteristics are satisfactorily low.

Gas and Magenetic Field Effect to Low Pressure Plasma

  • Plasma hardly grows in lowpressure because of lack of collision. But low pressure plasma has useful properties because it has typically low electron density. In here, thermal electron is used to make breakdown in low pressure easily. We changed magnetic field strength and gas to control electron density or temperature. IV characteristic and electron density of the discharge are examined and the characteristic of the discharge in presence of magnetic field is also examined. Results showed that depending on the ionization cross section of the gas, electron density is changed and proper strength of magnetic field is required for high electron density.
