The purpose of this study was to develop and examine the effects of flipped learning in ancient Mesopotamian costume history. The flipped learning class was designed to three steps(pre-class, in-class, after-class). Pre-class: Students learned the socio-cultural background of Mesopotamia by watching videos online and Mesopotamian costume with PPT. In-class: Students were evaluated for their prior learning through the quiz. After the quiz, the instructor had a supplementary mini-lecture. Then the advanced learning was progressed with the team project(Mesopotamian costume analysis) by online Louvre Museum. Students made a team presentation and the instructor provided feedback. After-class: The effectiveness of flipped learning was measured based on the students' self-reflective journals and class awareness surveys. As the results, students actively participated in flipped learning and the class was rated appropriate. Students were satisfied with the overall quality of the flipped learning class. The Effect of Flip Learning Classes in reflective journals were shown as 'related flipped learning style,' 'related online Louvre museum project,' 'understanding of cooperative learning,' and 'contents of the class'. In conclusion, the flipped learning applied to Mesopotamian costume history was positive as a learner-centered education.

Internet ethics is one of liberal arts courses in a college. We also have taught this subject for a number of years. In order to effectively communicate to students the internet ethics course, we gave some demonstration practice lectures by taking advantage of internet ethics related videos. Since the latest video presentation and its discussion were performed, it was helpful for students to recognize the internet ethical issues and concerns. However, simply video watching is short in the view of students' learning outcome improvement, since each student just watches the content passively in a class. Thus, we assign small student group consisting of 3 people make a video on internet ethics topic. This team project based class methodology is effective to each student who actively participates in the class and understands the concept which they directly make a video. We confirmed that classroom students' understanding for internet ethics has been increased by a survey of the class attendees.
Background: This study aimed to create and present content that can be used in the dental hygiene ethics process to help dental hygiene students develop desirable work ethics and ethical values. Methods: In order to operate the dental hygiene ethics course in all academic systems, one three-year dental hygiene professor and one four-year dental hygiene professor participated in setting core competencies and learning goals for the dental hygiene ethics course. The class consisted of two credits, two hours of theoretical classes, and class activity sheets developed according to the learning contents and learning topics for each week that can be operated for 15 weeks. Results: The contents of the dental hygiene ethics subject were developed to be conducted as theoretical education and case-oriented discussion classes. The 15-week class consisted of a theory lecture on dental hygiene work ethics (eight weeks), discussions and presentations for ethical decisions based on actual cases related to dental hygiene ethics (four weeks), and the design and presentation of individual professional mission statements and codes of conduct (three weeks). The class data for each week consisted of four stages: "Learning goal-thinking," "open-thinking," "learning content-thinking," and "according to learning goal." Conclusions: In order to establish desirable workplace ethics and ethical values for dental hygiene students, it is necessary to approach education in a way that values understanding and application of dental hygiene practices, legal and ethical standards, ethical decision-making models, and ethical principles.

Theoretical benefits and research findings on the use of Microcomputer-based Laboratory (MBL) are considered for using MBL in a way that will be of benefit to students and teachers, and discussed as a whole for further synthesis, including the formulation of a research agenda for future consensus-based action. Based on the findings obtained from a comprehensive review of the literature, using a systematic approach, the uses of MBL were compared and contrasted for advancing understanding of the teaching and learning processes in science and mathematics. A number of benefits were proposed by MBL developers but not investigated by educational researchers. A few research studies considered the following practical aspects raised by classroom science teachers: technical problems of MBL equipment; inaccuracy or incompleteness of presentation; efficient ways for handling class time with MBL instruction; and development of MBL curriculum materials for their own instruction. This lack of research related to the use of MBL in science classrooms resulted in educational research that was neither respected nor utilized by science teachers. Setting a research agenda based on the theoretical benefits and research findings is necessary for the effective use of MBL in science classrooms can help to maximize the prospects for successful school improvement projects while minimizing the innovation-related frustrations of individuals.
The solution of the environment problem is the common issue all over the world, for this reason the necessity of the environmental education of school has emphasized. On this a variety method for environmental education is needed, this paper planned and applied the 'ecology & environment' for high school which are based on GBS theory and presented a new model of environment education. GBS(Goal-Based Scenario) is that learners are presented with an end goal that is motivating and challenging. This goal is structured such that, in order to successfully meet it learners are required to build a predetermined core set of skills and knowledge by process mission and scenario. GBS is an active learning environment in which learners are trained in study that have a real-world context. When they are back in real-world they have increased ability to apply what was learned by reflecting on the GBS learning experience. This study was designed on GBS theory and taught a class by using internet Blog. As a result, when carefully reviewing the materials such as final presentation reflect journal, we conclude that the students' awareness of a learning environment is improved and the students seems to try to apply the learning outcome to a real life.

This study proposes an entrepreneurship education process for fashion product start-ups through rewards-based crowdfunding. It examines issues such as: the general concept of crowdfunding and the pros and cons of rewards-based crowdfunding, the detailed curriculum plans in a chronological order for the regular class development, and the presentation of a visual plan to show the whole process. An entrepreneurship education process is developed in 13 steps: research on crowdfunding market, prototype plan, prototype production, story development, visual contents development, rewards development, project evaluation, public schedule & service setting, period setting & start funding, community management (Q&A), funding ends & deposit, complete manufacturing & start delivering, and the final information disclosure & open the next project plan. This research is intended to investigate rewards-based crowdfunding as a new paradigm of entrepreneurship and apply entrepreneurship education in fashion product development. However, it is limited to studying the Wadiz crowdfunding platform in Korea. Therefore, we propose a case study on various crowdfunding platforms in Korea, a case study on entrepreneurial curriculum application, and a follow-up study on the possibility of entry into an overseas crowdfunding platform.

The purpose of this study is to apply the principles of CGI(Cognitively Guided Instruction) into mathematics class in Korean elementary schools and to explore which mathematical concepts Korean students have and how they use informal knowledge and procedures to solve problems. In addition, this study tries to analyze difficulties that teachers might face when they are planning mathematics teachings based on CGI. The conclusions of this study are followings: First, the mathematics teaching based on CGI provides opportunity for students to communicate about mathematical knowledge that they know, The students are sure of their thoughts and learn from others by presentation. Second, the mathematics teaching based on CGI make students think mathematically. The students try to understand the meaning of problems and find various ways. Third, teachers should lead appropriate environment for the mathematics teaching based on CGI. They should offer proper problems and encourage their students to ask and answer questions respectively.

This paper describes the procedure of recreating the classics which introduced in author's lecture on "Classics and Creation." The work and result of this paper is based on the activities in the Korean language and literature lecture which the author was leading at university A in Seoul in 2014. This paper aims to identify aspects of introspection that college students underwent during the procedure of recreating. The subjects for analysis were the works created by college students participating in the class through three presentations. In section 2, it is discussed three major issues regarding the process of recreating classics. One is "presentation of the background for the selection of the work to recreate and the way of implementation". Second is "analysis of the original works and case studies on recreated works". Third is "recreation of works and meta writing". Those activities were conducted as part of the lecture. In section 3, it is investigated that the pattern of introspection of college students. It focused on analyzing the attitudes of the students toward life based on their selection, analysis, and recreation of classic works. Moreover, their self-assessment of the recreated works was examined as well. It is noted that the attitudes and tendency of students when faced with problems if any. While the students in the class selected diverse works for recreating, this paper compared and analyzed the works and introspective aspects of two students who recreated Simcheongjeon. Therefore, aspects of creativity could be identified based on the pattern of their recreation, which participants subtly describe the relationship with their father in recreated works. In accordance with the analysis, it is required to select more works for an effective class on recreation of classic literature and investigate a more systematic and diverse methodology for doing so. However, since the class for recreation of classic literature uses the narrative of the original work, it would reduce the burden on creation. In addition, it is possible to scrutinize in-depth problems of participant's general issue in life by using classic literature as a medium for introspection. Moreover, it was identified that a public presentation of these works enabled exploring self-narration on more objective aspects and collecting feedback from others.

Objective: The inhibitory leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptors (LILRBs) play an important role in innate immunity. The present study represents the first description of the cloning and structural and functional analysis of LILRB1 and LILRB3 isolated from two genetically disparate chicken lines. Methods: Chicken LILRB1-3 genes were identified by bioinformatics approach. Expression studies were performed by transfection, quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Signal transduction was analyzed by western blots, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometric. Cytokine levels were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: Amino acid homology and phylogenetic analyses showed that the homologies of LILRB1 and LILRB3 in the chicken line 6.3 to those proteins in the chicken line 7.2 ranged between 97%-99%, while homologies between chicken and mammal proteins ranged between 13%-19%, and 13%-69%, respectively. Our findings indicate that LILRB1 and LILRB3 subdivided into two groups based on the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIM) present in the transmembrane domain. Chicken line 6.3 has two ITIM motifs of the sequence LxYxxL and SxYxxV while line 7.2 has two ITIM motifs of the sequences LxYxxL and LxYxxV. These motifs bind to SHP-2 (protein tyrosine phosphatase, non-receptor type 11) that plays a regulatory role in immune functions. Moreover, our data indicate that LILRB1 and LILRB3 associated with and activated major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I and ${\beta}2-microglobulin$ and induced the expression of transporters associated with antigen processing, which are essential for MHC class I antigen presentation. This suggests that LILRB1 and LILRB3 are transcriptional regulators, modulating the expression of components in the MHC class I pathway and thereby regulating immune responses. Furthermore, LILRB1 and LILRB3 activated Janus kinase2/tyrosine kinase 2 (JAK2/TYK2); signal transducer and activator of transcription1/3 (STAT1/3), and suppressor of cytokine signaling 1 genes expressed in Macrophage (HD11) cells, which induced Th1, Th2, and Th17 cytokines. Conclusion: These data indicate that LILRB1 and LILRB3 are innate immune receptors associated with SHP-2, MHC class I, ${\beta}2-microglobulin$, and they activate the Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription signaling pathway. Thus, our study provides novel insights into the regulation of immunity and immunopathology.
