TPM was introduced to industries of Korea in the middle of the 80's. Thereafter, the reorganization of Korean industrial structure brought out the spread of TPM activities. However, TPM activities in Korean industries seem to be inferior to those in Japanese industries. We think this situation has occurred, because many Korean industries have directly applied the TPM model developed by Japanese industries without adjustment. In this paper, based on consulting experience, we present a TPM model that is suitable to the culture of Korean industries and can be a means of improving a competitive power of company.

A rapid diffusion of internet provides Korean companies with both business opportunities and challenges. Internet is becoming more and more important as an environment factor to industry in general. This paper investigated the present situation of internet marketing utilization in companies. And based on the research result, this paper suggests the efficient utilization measures of internet marketing in Korean companies.

This study focused on examining the effects of Objective, Subjective variables on the household economic well-being. Data were collected from 254 financial managers in Seoul. City. Results show that the Causal model supported hypothesis. Almost of the hypothesis were supported and Perceived adequacy of resources variable was mediated between Input variables and Satisfaction with financial situation variable. The present study implicated that this model apply to family resource management research.

An natural suitability evaluation of tourism farm was evaluated for Sabuk Myeon, Chunchon with considering natural location. In an evaluation of natural suitability, it was classified to the grade of one to four with evaluation items of stream, road accessibility, aspect, altitude, slope, soil drain, the present situation of land use, etc.

This survey is to know the present situation and effective alternatives of mathematics gifted education program for the 5-8 grade students in Korea. This is aiming at finding effective ideas useful to the definition of the gifted, the development of the methods and tools for identification, the proper organization of program and urgent issues. The number of collected questionnaire available by mailing is 92; 21 specialists, 24 experienced teachers and 47 scholars who are concerned with the education for the gifted. The purpose of this study is to get the data for architectural planning and design of health center, through researching actual conditions of the facilities. So statistical data and activities of facilities were surveyed and analyzed. The present situation of CWE(Computational Wind Engineering) and the papers presented to the CWE 2000 Symposium are reviewed from the following viewpoints; 1) topics treated, 2) utilization of commercial code (software), 3) incompleteness of CWE, 4) remaining research subjects, 5) prediction accuracy, 6) new fields of CWE application, etc. Firstly, new tendencies within CWE applications are indicated. Next, the over-attention being given to the application field and the lack of attention to fundamental problems, including prediction error analysis, are pointed out. Lastly, the future trends of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) applications to wind engineering design are discussed.

The actual situation of the rural house already improved since 1970's by standard plan of rural house was surveyed, to find out residential problems and farmers'intention to the improvement, and to make some space composition. The floor space of a living room and sanitary and bath facilities be required of larger dimensions than present. Facilities of sanitary and bath should be stayed indoors. The using-much-room is necessary to washing · and dressing after farm working. The space composition of rural house be variously developed on the basis of farmers'characteristies.

We present a simple geometric approach which uses polar transformation and elementary trigonometry to evaluating an orthant probability in a bivariate normal distribution. Figures are provided to illustrate the situation for varying correlation coefficient. We derive the distribution of the sample correlation coefficient from a bivariate normal distribution when the sample size is 2 as an application.
