Moleciular Reorientation in the Presence of the Extended Diffusion of internal Rotation in Liquid Perdeuterotoluene

  • The effect of internal rotation of methyl group in liquid perdeuterotoluene on nuclear quadrupole relaxation of methyl deuterons is investigated. A model of a spherical diffusor undergoing rotational diffusion is extended to include the extended diffusion of internal rotation. The overall reorientational correlation time in the presence of internal rotation is explicitly given as an analytical function of the angular momentum correlation time. Also, the degree of inertial effect in the internal rotation is evaluated.

사이버대학에서 교수실재감, 인지적 실재감, 사회적 실재감과 학습성과와의 구조적 관계 규명 (The Structural Relationship among Teaching Presence, Cognitive Presence, Social Presence, and Learning Outcome in Cyber University)

  • 본 연구는 사이버대학에서 교수실재감, 인지적 실재감, 사회적 실재감과 학습성과와의 구조적 인과관계를 분석하여 사이버교육의 개발 및 운영전략 모색에 기초자료를 제공하려고 한다. 2009년 1학기, W사이버대학생을 802명을 대상으로 교수실재감, 인지적 실재감, 사회적 실재감 및 학습성과를 조사하고 이들간의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 교수실재감과 인지적 실재감은 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 인지적 실재감은 학업성취도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 사이버대학에서의 사이버교육의 질 제고를 위해 요구되는 교수설계 및 운영전략을 제언하였다.

스마트 기기를 활용한 온라인 토론학습에서 모달리티가 학습자의 상호작용경험에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Modality and Smart Device on Learner's Interaction Experience in Online Learning)

  • 본 연구에서는 스마트폰, 태블릿 PC를 활용한 스마트러닝 환경에서 기기의 유형 및 모달리티(modality)가 학습자의 주관적인 상호작용경험에 미치는 영향을 실험연구를 통해 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 모달리티는 사회적 실재감 및 학습자의 상호작용경험(상호작용경험 평가, 다른 학습자에 대한 태도)에 유의미하게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 스마트 기기 유형의 경우 사회적 실재감 및 학습자의 상호작용경험에 직접적으로 미치는 영향은 없었으나, 모달리티가 사회적 실재감 및 학습자의 상호작용경험에 영향을 미칠 때 조절변인으로서 상호작용효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과는 다양한 기기를 활용한 스마트러닝 환경에서 사회적 실재감 및 학습자 간 상호작용을 증진시킬 수 있는 학습 환경의 설계 원리를 제시한다는 측면에서 시사점을 가진다.

플립러닝 교수법이 간호대학생의 그릿, 학습실재감 및 학습만족도에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of the Flipped Learning on Grit, Learning Presence, and Learning Satisfaction of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 플립러닝 교수법 적용 후 간호대학생의 그릿, 학습실재감, 학습만족도에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위함이다. 간호학생을 대상으로 ADDIE 모델을 기반 플립러닝 교수법을 활용한 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 평가하였다. 연구 결과, 프로그램을 적용한 후 그릿(t=-3.07, p=.003), 학습실재감(t=-4.87, p<.001), 및 학습만족도(t=-5.18, p<.001) 모두 유의하게 증가하였다. 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 그릿은 학습실재감(r=.469, p<.001) 및 학습만족도(r=.258, p<.005)와 학습실재감은 학습만족도(r=.548, p<.001)와 유의한 양의 상관관계가 나타났다. 플립러닝 교수법은 학습자의 그릿과 학습실재감, 학습만족도를 향상시키며, 앞으로 간호교육 분야에서 플립러닝 교수법의 토대를 마련하기 위한 다각적인 노력이 필요하다.

네트워크 효과를 고려한 천연가스산업의 기술적 효율성 분석 (Efficiency analysis in the presence of network effect with DEA method)

  • This study takes an issue of efficiency analysis in the presence of network effect utilizing the DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) framework. Network effect has important policy implication for the regulation of local monopolies which undertake their business through physical network, such as electricity, natural gas, local telephony, etc. If the difference in spatial condition between companies is not controlled properly, the performance comparison and associated incentive regulation bear significant bias. In this study, we propose a methodology to measure the true managerial or technical efficiency apart from efficiency difference accruing from the difference in spatial condition. A series of modified DEA efficiency models are combined to investigate the extent of exogenous and endogenous efficiency component in the Korean natural gas distribution companies. Empirical results show that the network effect plays significant role in determining superficial performance difference.

Triton X-100이 Trichoderma koningii의 성장 및 형태에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Triton X-100 on the Growth and Morphology of Trichoderma koningii)

  • We investigated the effect of Triton X-100 on the growth and morphology of Trichoderma koningii by comparing various parameters representing the frowth of mold in the presence or absence of Triton X-100. The specific growth rate and doubling time of T. koningii were not affected by the addition of 0.05% Triton X-100 in batch culture. However, in the presence of Triton X-100, cultures reached its stationary phase earlier and showed reduced level in total yield of biomass. The addition of Triton X-100 into solid medium also resulted in decrease in the colony radial growth rate and this response was correlated with the formation of mycelia which showed increase in branching and septation in the presence of Triton X-100.

Effect of the Presence of Corpus Luteum on Oocyte Recovery and Subsequent in vitro Maturation and Fertilization in Buffaloes

  • The effect of the presence or absence of corpus luteum in the ovaries of slaughtered buffaloes was studied for the oocytes recovery and their subsequent maturation and fertilization in vitro. On an average, 0.41 and 0.67 oocytes per ovary were recovered from ovaries with and without corpus luteum, respectively. Immature oocytes were matured in TCM-199 medium. Significant difference was observed in maturation rate between good (74%) and fair (37%) oocytes. However, there was no significant difference in cleavage rate between the two types. The results of this study show that although the presence of corpus luteum in the ovary at the time of recovery significantly affected availability of total oocytes and in-vitro maturation, but fertilization and cleavage remained unaffected under in vitro conditions.

  • This study was carried out to examine the effect of the presence of non-structural walls in apartment buildings subjected to an earthquake. It was believed that the presence of non-structural walls, which has not been considered in the structural design process, was usually built together with structural walls and this led to significant damages to the apartment buildings in Pohang earthquake, 2017. In this study, a 22-story apartment building was selected and modeled to simulate the seismic behavior due to earthquakes. The story drift, performance point, and compressive strain in the walls were the main parameters to evaluate the seismic performance with the presence of non-structural walls.

Quality of Experience Experiment Method and Statistical Analysis for 360-degree Video with Sensory Effect

  • This paper proposes an experimental method for measuring the quality of experience to measure the influence of the participants' immersion, satisfaction, and presence according to the application of sensory effects to 360-degree video. Participants of the experiment watch 360-degree videos using HMD and receive sensory effects using scent diffusing devices and wind devices. Subsequently, a questionnaire was conducted on the degree of immersion, satisfaction, and present feelings for the video you watched. By analyzing the correlation of the survey results, we found that the provision of sensory effects satisfies the 360-degree video viewing, and the experimental method was appropriate. In addition, using the P.910 method, a result was derived that was not suitable for measuring the quality of the immersion and presence of 360-degree video according to the provision of sensory effects.

A Study of the factors affecting the satisfaction of online classes

  • With the recent expansion of online lectures, studies on their effectiveness and their influencing factors have increased. This study examines the factors affecting the satisfaction of online classes, considering the utilization and importance of online lectures, which have greatly increased in recent years. Based on the review of previous studies, this study identified learning presence, self-efficacy, and learning immersion as factors affecting the satisfaction of online classes, and suggested hypotheses that explain the relationship between these factors, and empirically reviewed the hypotheses. As a result of the study, it was found that learning presence and self-efficacy had a positive effect on learning immersion, and learning immersion had a positive effect on learning satisfaction. Based on the research results, some practical implications for improving the satisfaction of online classes were suggested.
