공과대학생의 학업지속과 진로준비행동에 영향을 미치는 공학효능감과 결과기대, 흥미간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relationships among Engineering Self-Efficacy, Outcome Expectations, Interests, Learning Persistence and Career Preparation Behavior of Engineering Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate structural relationships among engineering self-efficacy, outcome expectation, interest, learning persistence, and career preparation behavior of engineering students. Participants (n=428) completed measures of engineering self-efficacy, outcome expectations, interests, learning persistence, and career preparation behavior. Results from structural equation modeling analysis were found to support the proposed model which included learning persistence and career preparation behavior, influence from engineering self-efficacy, outcome expectations, and interests. In addition, major persistence intention and career preparation behavior of engineering college students are influenced by the direct and indirect effects on engineering self-efficacy, interest, and outcome expectations. The implications of the findings on practice for Korean engineering college students are discussed.

The Effects of College Life Adaptability on Career Preparation Behaviors of College Students: Mediating Effects of Major Satisfaction, Job Stress, and Self-Directed Learning

  • This study is a study to empirically verify the mediating effect on college life adaptation and career preparation behavior of college students. The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the multi-mediated effects of major satisfaction, job stress, and self-directed learning. For this study, 216 university students were enrolled. For the collected data, SPSS Process macro was used. The result is as follows. First, there were multiple parallel mediating effects and multiple serial mediating effects on major satisfaction, job stress, and self-directed learning between college life adaptability and career preparation behavior. Second, the path of simple mediation and double mediation effect was found between college life adaptation and career preparation behavior. Based on the research, the necessity of revitalizing the program for revitalization of teaching activities and industry-academic cooperation activities in the major field and improvement of career preparation behavior and university life adaptation ability and follow-up research were suggested.

  • 본 연구는 공학계열 대학생을 대상으로 학습민첩성과 취업준비행동의 관계에서 학습몰입과 교수-학생 간 상호작용의 조절된 조절효과를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2년제 P대학 2학년 재학생 206명으로부터 수집한 데이터를 바탕으로 Process v3.5.3 for SPSS를 활용하여 연구 모델의 조건부 효과(직접효과 및 조절된 조절효과) 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 공학계열 대학생의 학습민첩성은 취업준비행동에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학습민첩성과 취업준비행동의 관계에서 학습몰입은 유의한 부적 조절효과가 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학습민첩성과 취업준비행동 관계에서 학습몰입의 조절효과는 교수-학생 간 상호작용 빈도에 의해 조절되고, 그 영향은 통계적으로 유의하고 정적인 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 학문적·실무적 논의와 시사점을 제시하였다.

Study on Relationship between Self-Directed Learning and Career Preparation behavior of College Students: Major Satisfaction, Positive psychological capital, Job-Seeking Stress mediation effect

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediating effects of major satisfaction, positive psychological capital, and job-Seeking Stress in the relationship between college students' self-directed learning and career preparation behavior. For this purpose, the study was conducted on 253 college students. The parallel mediation effect was analyzed using SPSS (24.0). Process Macro and Bootstrapping. The following results were confirmed. First, self-directed learning, major satisfaction, positive psychological capital, job-Seeking stress, and career preparation behavior were found to have a mutually significant influence relationship. Second, in the relationship between self-directed learning and career preparation behavior, major satisfaction, positive psychological capital, and job-seeking stress were confirmed to be variables that affect the parallel mediation effect and serial multiple mediation effect.Third, college students' self-directed learning was found to increase career preparation behavior through the mediating roles of major satisfaction, positive psychological capital, and employment stress. Therefore, in order to increase the career outcomes and success rates of college students, their own efforts, professors, and schools must create diverse environments and develop programs for college students' careers. Additionally, follow-up research must continue to supplement this.

Prediction of elementary school academic performance abilities for young children's academic abilities and preparation for learning, which the mothers and the teachers rated

  • This study was conducted by researchers to compare the differences between the ratings of mothers and teachers on young children's academic ability and learning ability, and to confirm their influence on elementary school academic performance ability. This study was conducted using data from the 7th year(2 014) and 10th year(2017) of the panel study on Korean children. The analysis data were individual basic background, academic ability, preparation for learning, and academic performance ability. 600 children were used for the study. We suggests that close interaction and cooperation between mother and teacher are necessary to support young children's academic ability and learning preparation.

중학생이 지각하는 모의 학습관여와 진로준비행동과의 관계: 희망의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Relationship between Perceived Maternal Learning Involvement and Career Preparation Behaviors among Middle School Students : The Mediating Effects of Hope)

  • 최근 들어 초기 청소년기인 중학생 시기부터 진로준비를 적극적으로 해나가야 환경적 요구가 증가하면서 적극적인 진로준비행동을 촉진하는 환경적, 심리내적 변인에 대한 연구의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 필요성에 근거하여 중학생을 대상으로 모의 학습관여가 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 희망이 매개하는지 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 이를 위해 강원도 W시의 중학생 320명을 대상으로 모의 학습관여, 진로준비행동, 희망에 대한 설문을 실시하였고, 그 결과를 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 매개효과 검증절차에 따라서 검증하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 모의 학습관여의 학업정보제공/조언, 학습방법존중은 희망 및 진로준비행동과 유의한 정적상관을 보였다. 반면 모의 부정적 학습관여인 학습성과 압력은 진로준비행동, 희망과 유의미한 상관을 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 희망은 모의 긍정적 학습관여인 학업정보제공/조언과 진로준비행동 간의 관계에서 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 학습방법존중과 진로준비행동 간의 관계에서 완전매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 희망은 모의 부정적 학습관여인 학습성과 압력과 진로준비행동 간의 관계에서 매개효과를 나타내지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 중학생의 진로준비행동의 수준을 높이기 위해 적절한 학업정보와 조언을 제공하고, 학업정보제공/조언과 학습방법존중을 통해 희망을 고취하는 것이 중요함을 시사한다.

Learning experience of undergraduate medical students during 'model preparation' of physiological concepts

  • Purpose: Learning physiological concepts and their practical applications in the appropriate contexts remains a great challenge for undergraduate medical students. Hence the present study aimed to analyze the learning experience of undergraduate medical students during an active learning process of 'preparation of models' depicting physiological concepts. Methods: A total of 13 groups, involving 55 undergraduate medical students with three to five individuals in each group, were involved in model preparation. A total of 13 models were exhibited by the students. The students shared their learning experiences as responses to an open-ended questionnaire. The students' responses were analyzed and generalized comments were generated. Results: Analysis of the results showed that the act of 'model preparation' improved concept understanding, retention of knowledge, analytical skills, and referral habits. Further, the process of 'model preparation' could satisfy all types of sensory modality learners. Conclusion: This novel active method of learning could be highly significant in students' understanding and learning physiology concepts. This approach could be incorporated in the traditional instructor-centered undergraduate medical curriculum as a way to innovate it.

치기공과 학생들의 진로준비행동에 대한 자기주도학습의 중요성에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Importance of Self-directed Learning on Career-preparation Behavior of Department of Dental Technology Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study is to learn the importance of self-directed learning about career-preparation behavior of department of dental technology students. Methods: Using the questionnaire, the department of dental technology in Gyeongnam Province conducted a survey of students of department of dental technology at A and B college for one month from May 15, 2019 through June 15, 2019, and finally 204 students were surveyed for Self-esteem, Self-determination, Self-efficacy, Internal control, College life adaptation, Self-directed learning, and Career-preparation behavior. Results: Self-esteem among students has been shown to improve self-directed learning by increasing the stress of college life, and self-efficacy has only a direct effect on self-directed learning. In addition, self-determination and internal control of department of dental technology students were found to be variables that have a common positive effect on college life adaptation and self-directed learning. In addition, college life adaptation gives direct positive effect to self-directed learning, but indirect effect through self-directed learning was found to be stronger than direct effect on career-preparation behavior, and the career-preparation behavior of students was further strengthened through self-directed learning. Conclusion: The changes in college restructuring and various policies also suggest that students should actively seek ways to instill certainty about their major's vision and career path within the college rather than deciding their future through extreme measures such as academic secession at a time when anxiety and uncertainty about their career is strong.

대학생의 성찰학습이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향과 그릿의 매개효과 (Influence of University Students' Reflective Learning on Career Preparation Behavior and the Mediating Effect of Grit)

  • 이 연구는 대학생의 진로준비행동에 미치는 인지적, 심리적 선행요인을 확인하고 변인 간의 구조적 관계를 밝히고자 하였다. 먼저, 대학생의 성찰학습이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 확인 한 후 성찰학습과 진로준비행동 사이에서 그릿의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 국내 4년제 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 중 진로와 취업준비에 비교적 관심이 많고 실제적으로 많은 노력을 기울이고 있는 3, 4학년 307명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 성찰학습(성찰, 비판적 성찰)은 그릿(흥미일관성, 노력지속성)과 진로준비행동(정보수집활동, 도구구비활동, 목표달성활동)의 모든 변인에서 유의한 정적 관계를 가지며, 무성찰학습(습관적 행동, 이해)은 주요 변인 모두에서 유의하지 않는 관계를 갖는다는 것을 검증하였다. 추가적으로 성찰학습은 진로준비행동에 직접적인 정적 영향을 미치고, 그릿은 성찰학습과 진로준비행동의 관계에서 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 대학생의 진로준비행동 향상을 위하여 보다 원천적인 변인을 추가적으로 규명하고 확장하였으며, 대학 교육 현장에서 적용할 수 있는 진로 및 취업준비 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공 했다는 것에 의의가 있다. 또한, 대학생 스스로가 주변 환경과 상황을 비판적으로 성찰할 수 있는 능력을 향상시키고 이를 지속적으로 노력하고 관심 과제에 대한 흥미를 유지하는 것이 중요함을 확인하였으며, 이를 위해 고등교육기관은 학생의 진로결정 및 취업과 관련한 보다 근본적이고 확장적인 실천 방법과 교육환경 제공이 중요함을 제언하였다.

XML을 이용한 프로젝트 학습사이트의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Project Learning Site by Using XML)

  • The purpose of this study was to design and implementation of project learning site by using XML. The development of the Internet site for project learning was planned as per preparation, development and test/application stages. At the stage of preparation, literature and cases were reviewed to find the elements of design principles needed for development of a project learning program and those required in the actual development. At the stage of development, the elements of the design principles and those for the actual development, both explored from the stage of preparation were used to develop a draft Internet site for project learning. The elements used for the development of the Internet site for project learning were motivation, specification of learning goals, reminiscence of preceding knowledge, positive participation in teaching activities, learning-guide feedback, evaluation, reinforcement and correction. It is changing web based format. XML advent because of HTML limitations of web based internet and expand it's field. XML is able to gather data on HTML of text based format, thus it is possible to control it's inside. It is expected that many teachers apply this model to their classes and show realistic results.
