중국국적 결혼이주여성들의 취업준비 경험에 대한 과정분석 (A Process Analysis of the Employment Preparation of Chinese International Marriage Migrant Women)

  • This study is aimed at examining the employment preparation of Chinese migrant women and exploring measures to support their employment in a practical manner. To accomplish the objectives, in-depth interviews with 15 Han Chinese and Korean Chinese women, who represent the highest proportion in Korea, were conducted. Each interview lasted for about an hour and a half on average, and there were additional questionnaires and observations on vocational courses. Collected data was analyzed in 4 steps by utilizing the analysis methods suggested by Lichtman (the three C's of data analysis: codes, categories, concepts), which were transformed to fit the final data. The research findings are as follows. First, the fundamental reasons that Chinese migrant women seek employment in Korea are as follows: role model as a mother based on motherhood and the desire to be recognized as a member of society. Second, as for employment strategies, although all the respondents were only dependent on the referral of their acquaintances and national institutions, Han Chinese and Korean Chinese women had ambivalent attitudes toward each other. Third, they attributed the causes of unemployment to personal aspects such as the amount of effort made and luck, and social structural aspects, including employment instability and low acceptance of multi- cultural individuals. Fourth, the migrant women hoping for 'complete integration' in the future, suggested some practical employment support measures. Such measures should be established by comprehensively reflecting their reasons for getting a job, employment strategies, attributions of unemployment, and employment outlook, rather than as response measures to the low birth rate and aging issues in Korea.

Patent and Anti-wrinkle Cosmetics

  • In the 21st century, the development of cosmetics is led to pursue the high functionality of cosmetics with excellent effectiveness and safety. As Cosmetic Act took effect in 2000, functional cosmetics is provided in the law. As a result, the research and development of functional cosmetics has continually increased, and the number of patent applications in functional cosmetics has also rapidly increased as a plan for preoccupying in the functional cosmetics age. Now, the cosmetic industry has a great interest in developing anti-wrinkle cosmetics among functional cosmetics, because women's desire for having young resilient skin has increased since Korea entered an aging society thanks to the advanced medical technology. The patent application trends of anti-wrinkle cosmetics at home since 2000 particularly show the rapid increase in the applications in natural plant extracts. It may be because Korean consumers preference of vegetable cosmetics has resulted in the development of raw materials based on the traditional medicine. As for the existing preparation such as Retinoid or Ascorbic acid, the patent application itself will be an essential technical element in the future because patent applications are filed in the field of a preparation of cosmetics for stabilizing ingredients, reducing skin irritability or promoting absorbance, and in the field of cosmetic formulation technology. As there are many studies on the causes of skin wrinkles, it is expected that new raw materials of cosmetics can be developed due to new mechanisms, and that the number of patent applications in new technologies will increase due to a change in the thought of cosmetics accompanied by the integration of cosmetics with biotechnology using Genetic Engineering, including the practical application of the medicine previously used far treating skin diseases to an anti-wrinkle agent and the mass production of active ingredients of cosmetics.

공공도서관에서 제공하는 노인대상 교육프로그램에 관한 연구 - 노인종합복지관과 비교하여 - (A Study on the Services of Senior Programs in Public Libraries: Compared with the Senior Programs in Senior Welfare Centers)

  • 본 논문은 고령화 사회의 공공도서관에서 제공되는 노인대상 프로그램 개발의 기초자료 수집을 위해 서울시 소재 노인종합복지관과 공공도서관 홈페이지의 노인교육 프로그램을 비교하였다. 프로그램 내용을 건강, 문해/교양, 정보화교육, 죽음준비교육, 취미, 취업/자원봉사의 6가지 세부주제로 구분하여 각 기관별 해당 주제를 조사하였다. 두 기관에서 가장 많은 교육프로그램이 제공된 분야는 취미분야였으며, 노인종합복지관에서는 공공도서관보다 3배이상의 프로그램을 운영하고 있었다. 공공도서관의 경우, 취미(34.1%), 기타, 문해/교양(24.4%), 건강과 정보화교육(22.0%), 취업/자원봉사(17.1%), 죽음준비(7.3%)순으로 프로그램이 제공되었으며, 문제점에 따른 제언을 제시하였다. 그리고 죽음준비교육 프로그램의 일환으로 '행복지도 만들기'를 14주차에 걸쳐서 시행할 수 있도록 프로그램을 예시하였다.

이중에너지 엑스선 흡광분석법을 이용한 골밀도검사의 관리법 (Management Methods of Bone Mineral Density Examination Using Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry)

  • In recent years, demand for examination of bone mineral density (BMD) is increasing in Korea according aging society. Therefore, it is required to develop an efficient management program that can increase the safety and reliability of Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) that can be applied to the criteria of the World Health Organization. It is necessary to develop a management program that can design a program to improve the accuracy and precision of the results of the analysis and to improve the accuracy of diagnosis of osteoporosis by development a high quality DXA report. It is recommended to prepare the examination manuals and to establish procedures of standard operating including the program to prevent the pitfalls during the examination, the compatibility evaluation of the examination data, and the contents of the radiation safety. In addition, relevant regulations on the production of high-quality DXA reports are required and government and related agencies should introduce individual and facility recognition programs through DXA measurement and education programs and training. It is considered that efforts should be made to prepare high quality DXA report by guidelines on all aspects of BMD for preparation about aging society.

$Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3$ 강유전체 박막 이력곡선의 변형에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Deformation in the Hysteresis Loop of $Pb(Zr,Ti)O_3$ Ferroelectric Thin Films)

  • 다양한 Zr/Ti 비율을 갖고 있는 강유전체 PZT박막을 졸-겔 법으로 증착하였고 상부 백금전극의 제조방법과 열처리온도의 변화에 따라 강유전체 특성을 측정하여 이력곡선의 변형 원인을 조사하였다. Pt/PZT/Pt 캐패시터는 상부 백금전극을 반응성 이온 식각(RIE) 하는 과정에서 생성된 dc plasma 전압에 의하여 양의 방향으로 분극되었고 도메인 계면에 포획된 전하에 의해 내부전장이 발생되었다. PZT 박막은 sputtering으로 상부전극을 증착하는 과정에서 이력곡선의 중간에 잘룩하게 되는 시효현상이 관찰되었다. 상부전극을 제작한 후 열처리는 포획된 전하흫 제거시켜 양호한 이력곡선 특성을 되찾게 하였다. Zr/Ti 비율이 감소함에 따라 내부전장이 증가하였으며 내부전장이 없어지는 열처리온도가 증가하였다.

Effect of dimethyl sulfoxide on bond durability of fiber posts cemented with etch-and-rinse adhesives

  • PURPOSE. This study was undertaken to investigate whether use of an adhesive penetration enhancer, dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), improves bond stability of fiber posts to root dentin using two two-step etch-and-rinse resin cements. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Forty human maxillary central incisor roots were randomly divided into 4 groups after endodontic treatment and post space preparation, based on the fiber post/cement used with and without DMSO pretreatment. Acid-etched root dentin was treated with 5% DMSO aqueous solution for 60 seconds or with distilled water (control) prior to the application of Excite DSC/Variolink II or One-Step Plus/Duolink for post cementation. After micro-slicing the bonded root dentin, push-out bond strength (P-OBS) test was performed immediately or after 1-year of water storage in each group. Data were analyzed using three-way ANOVA and Student's t-test (${\alpha}$=.05). RESULTS. A significant effect of time, DMSO treatment, and treatment${\times}$time interaction were observed (P<.001). DMSO did not affect immediate bonding of the two cements. Aging significantly reduced P-OBS in control groups (P<.001), while in DMSO-treated groups, no difference in P-OBS was observed after aging (P>.05). CONCLUSION. DMSO-wet bonding might be a beneficial method in preserving the stability of resin-dentin bond strength over time when fiber post is cemented with the tested etch-and-rinse adhesive cements.

긴급전환형 임시음압격리병실의 기밀도에 따른 최소 급배기 유량차 평가 (Analysis of Minimum Airflow Differences between Supply and Exhaust Air according to Airtightness of Rapidly Converted Temporary Negative Pressure Isolation Rooms)

  • Purpose: During the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many cases of converting regular hospital wards into temporary negative pressure isolation wards. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the minimum airflow differences that satisfies the pressure difference criteria(-2.5 Pa) according to airtightness of switching type wards, in preparation for utilization of aging regular wards as negative pressure isolation wards. Methods: Visual inspection and field measurements were conducted using blower door to evaluate airtightness of 5 hospital wards. CONTAM simulation was used to assess the airflow differences when pressure difference between the corridor and wards met the criteria at various levels of airtightness. Results: The ACH50 of evaluated wards ranged from 19.3 to 50.1 h-1 with an average of 37.0 h-1, indicating more than four times leakier than other building types. The minimum airflow differences increased as the airtightness of the wards decreased and the size of the wards increased. Implications: When operating rapidly converted negative pressure isolation wards, understanding airtightness is crucial for determining the minimum airflow differences to maintain the pressure differences. The analysis of this study suggests that improving the airtightness of aging rooms is essential and the minimum airflow differences should be suggested considering both the airtightness and size of rooms.

Preparation of Silica Monoliths with Macropores and Mesopores and of High Specific Surface Area with Low Shrinkage using a Template Induced Method

  • In this study we report a new method for the synthesis of a silica monolithic column bed with bimodal pores (throughpores and mesopores). The template induced synthesis method was used to direct bimodal pores simultaneously instead of the usual post base-treating method. Block polymer Pluronic F127 was chosen as a dual-function template to form hierarchically porous silica monolith with both macropores and mesopores. This is a simplification of the method of monolithic column preparation. Poly(ethylene glycol) was used as a partial substitute for F127 can effectively prevent shrinkage during the monolith aging process without losing much surface area (944 $m^2/g$ to 807 $m^2/g$). More importantly, the resultant material showed a much narrower mesopore size (centered at 6 nm) distribution than that made using only F127 as the template reagent, which helps the mass transfer process. The solvent washing method was used to remove the remaining organic template, and it was proved to be effective enough. The new synthesis method makes the fabrication of the silica monolithic column (especially capillary column) much easier. All the structure parameters indicate that monolith PFA05 prepared by the above method is a good material for separation, with the merits of much higher surface area than usual commercial HPLC silica particles, suitable mesopore volume, narrow mesopore size distribution, low shrinkage and it is easily prepared.

티탄이 기본인 Ziegler-Natta 촉매에 의한 선형저밀도폴리에틸렌의 제조 (Linear Low Density Polyethylene Preparation by Titanium-Based Ziegler-Natta Catalysts)

  • 선형저밀도폴리에틸렌(LLDPE)의 제조를 위해 여러가지 티탄알콕시드-알킬알루미늄 화합물을 촉매로 하여 에틸렌과 1-부텐을 슬러리 상태로 공중합하였다. 이때 촉매성분의 종류 및 농도, 숙성시간, 중합시간과 중합온도 등이 촉매활성과 공중합체 조성에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 그리고 공중합체의 성질과 1-부텐 함량과의 관계를 조사하였다. 그 결과 티탄사노르말부톡시드-염화디에틸알류미늄의 촉매를 사용하였을 때 가장 큰 촉매활성, 보다 많은 1-부텐 함량 및 가장 작은 가용성 부분의 LLDPE를 얻을 수 있었다. 얻은 공중합체의 밀도, 유리전이온도, 녹는점 및 녹음열 등은 1-부텐의 함량이 증가함에 따라 감소하였다.

인구·경제·조직 측면에서 공기업 임금피크 근로자 분석 (A Study on Public Enterprise Workers with Wage Peak System -Population, Economic and Organizational Aspects-)

  • 본 연구는 고령인력 증가가 다른 영역보다 빨리 진행되며, 인적자원관리가 쉽지 않은 공기업 임금피크 근로자의 인구 경제 조직적 특성과 임금피크제 및 퇴직 간 관계에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 임금피크제 실시 공기업 19개사에 종사하는 임금피크 근로자 211명이었다. 연구결과에 따르면 인구 경제적 특성에 있어서, 교육수준, 가계총수입, 퇴직 후 생활비, 퇴직대비저축과 투자금액은 임금피크만족도, 임금피크수용도, 퇴직준비와 퇴직태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 조직적 특성에서는 직급과 직군, 근무기간과 정년퇴직잔여기간, 퇴직준비프로그램 참여 그리고 임금피크 적용 여부에 따라 각각 차이가 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 고령사회를 위한 실효성 있는 임금피크제 시행을 위해서는 복지지원, 교육훈련, 전직지원과 같은 고령친화인사제도의 직군, 직급, 경제수준 및 교육수준 별 시행의 필요성을 시사함과 동시에 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
