PREISACH 모델을 이용한 수직자기기특장치의 유한요소해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Perpendicular Magnetic Recording System using PREISACH Model)

  • In this paper, perpendicular magnetic recording system which consists of a single pole head and a double, layer medium is analyzed by using 2D-finite element simulation and Preisach model for describing hysteresis characteristics. For confirming this method, we compare the calculated magnetic field intensity which is above the isolated transition of magnetization and scale up experimental data which have already published. The results show a good agreement and we can conclude that this method is very useful to analyze perpendicular magnetic recording system.

  • This paper deals with the stator design solution of a synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) with various slot number by loss & torque evaluations related to the slot open, teeth width using coupled Preisach modeling & FEM. The coupled Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) & Preisach model have been used to evaluate the nonlinear solution. Comparisons are given with characteristics of a SynRM according to the stator winding, slot number, slot open, teeth width variation, respectively

  • This paper deals with the characteristic Analysis of synchronous reluctance motors (SynRMs) using coupled Preisach modeling & FEM. The focus of this paper is the characteristic Analysis relative to Inductances and losses on the basis of stator slot number, winding in SynRMs. The coupled Finite Elements Analysis (FEA) & Preisach model has been used to evaluate the nonlinear solution. Comparisons arc given with characteristics of normal distributed winding SynRM and those according to stator slot number, winding in concentrated winding SynRM, respectively.

  • This paper reports the development of an analysis method in a synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) using the finite element method (FEM) coupled with the electromagnetic field of the Preisach model, which represents an additional thermal source due to hysteresis loss and a thermal field. This study focused on thermal analysis relative to hysteresis and copper losses in a SynRM.

  • 본 논문은 기계시스템의 마찰 현상 중 히스테리시스 현상을 실험적으로 규명하고 뉴럴 네트워크 알고리즘을 이용한 프라이자흐(Preisach) 모델을 제안하였다. 제안된 모델은 실험을 통해 구한 마찰 특성을 오류역전파(back propagation) 알고리즘을 이용하여 뉴럴 네트워크의 가중 행렬(weighting factor)를 갱신할 수 있도록 하였다. 학습된 가중행렬은 프라이자흐 모델의 파라미터로 활용하였다. 마찰 거동을 규명하기 위한 실험 및 제안된 프라이자흐 모델은 LabView소프트웨어를 이용하여 구현하고 마찰이 있는 기계 및 로봇 시스템의 정밀 제어 시스템 구축을 위한 알고리즘으로 활용할 수 있도록 제안하였다. 제안된 모델의 성능은 실험을 통해 규명하였다.

  • Previous dynamic models of hysteresis motor use an extended induction machine equivalent circuit or somewhat different equivalent circuit with conventional one, which makes unsatisfiable results. In this paper, the hysteresis dynamic characteristics of the motor rotor are analyzed using the inverse Preisach model and the hysteresis motor equivalent circuit considering eddy current effect. The hysteresis loop for the rotor ring is analyzed under full-load voltage source static state. The calculated hysteresis loop is then approximated to an ellipse for simplicity of dynamic computation. The permeability and delay angle of the elliptic loop apply to the dynamic analysis model. As a result, it is possible to dynamically analyze the hysteresis motor according to the applied voltage and the rotor material. With this method, the motor speed, generated torque, load angle, rotor current as well as synchronous entry time, hunting effect can be calculated.

  • In the classical Preisach model for hard magenets, there break out several problems which are the asymmetry and negative domains of the distribution functions and the contradiction of the congruency. In this paper, generalized hysteresis model is proposed by applying the molecular field theory to the classical Preisach model. And it is showed that the problems above are solved by the generalized hysteresis model. The experiments are compared with the simulations and we got acceptible results.

  • This paper presents force feedback control performance of a 3DOF haptic device that can be used for minimally invasive surgery (MIS). As a first step, a 3DOF electrorheological (ER) joint is designed using a spherical mechanism. And it is optimized based on the mathematical torque modeling. Subsequently, the master haptic device is manufactured by the spherical joint. In order to achieve desired force trajectories, model based compensation strategy is adopted for the ER master. Therefore, Preisach model fur the PMA-based ER fluid is identified using experimental first order descending (FOD) curves. A compensation strategy is then formulated through the model inversion to achieve desired force at the ER master. Tracking control performances for sinusoidal force trajectory are presented, and their tracking errors are evaluated.

  • A great deal of external magnetic variation is required to demagnetize a magnetic material. In order to analyze a demagnetization model, hysteresis is employed and the best numerical analysis technique so far, regarding hysteresis, is Preisach model. In general, Preisach model, however, bears the instability problem with respect to convergence and hence in this paper, a method adopting M-B variables is proposed to solve the problem. In addition, comparison is made between the experimental MTF equipment and the hysteresis modeling technique for the purpose of developing an effective demagnetization protocol.
