거주평형에 따른 소비자 홈 패션 구매 행동 및 선호도 연구 (A Study on Consumers Home Fashion Buying Behavior and Preferences Based on Housing Size)

  • The purpose of this study was to research buying behavior and home fashion preferences based on housing size. The target consumers were Korean women, aged 20~40s who reside in the Seoul & Kyunggido areas. We distributed questionnaires to 650 women. However, only 600 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. Data analyses were conducted with SPSS program on the frequency, Chi-square test, cluster analysis, t-test and ANOVA. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The considering factors for purchasing such as brand, trends coordinating existing furnishings with new products and functionality were significantly associated with housing size. The buyers who reside in bigger size homes. over 40 pyung place higher value on brand name, trends. or coordinating existing furnishing with new products than residents in smaller units. However, women who live in smaller units place higher value on functionality when purchasing home fashion products. Considering factors such as brand, trend, and materials were also significantly associated with segmented age group; 40~49 age group considered brand, trend, and materials more than 20~29 age group. The group who are highly interested in home fashion considered design/color, rand, coordination, and functionality than the group who are low interested in home fashion. 2. Residents in over 40 pyung homes buy home fashion products at department stores, while residents in less than 39 pyung homes buy them at discounted store. 3. Respondents preferred solid colors more than patterns. However, they favored character pattern for textile bedding products for their children. 4. there is also a statistical difference in preferences for types of window treatments between large ad small housing sizes. Residents living in over 40 pyung preferred tie-back/cottage curtain, while residents living in less than 29 pyung preferred Roman shade style.

요양시설 거주 노인의 에너지와 영양소 섭취 실태 및 식품선호도 조사 (Study on Energy and Nutrient Intake and Food Preference of the Elderly in Care Facilities)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess energy and nutritional intake and investigate the preference for food and cooking methods of the residents in elderly care facilities. Methods: Data were collected from 72 residents (10 males and 62 females) aged ${\geq}70$ years in elderly care facilities using questionnaires, food photographs for estimating dietary intake and records for daily physical activity. Results: Average age of the study participants was 85.0 years and 41, 36 and 8 had dementia, hypertension and diabetes mellitus, respectively. 15%, 65% and 19% of subjects were physically mobile, enervated, and immobile, respectively. Daily energy intake was 1360.2 kcal in men and 1378.0 kcal in women, which were 68.0% and 86.1% of the estimated energy requirement (EER) of dietary reference intake for Koreans (KDRI) for ${\geq}75$ year old individuals, respectively. Estimated energy expenditure (EEE) of subjects calculated using formula from KDRI was 1361.9 kcal and EER calculated using estimated daily physical activity (EDPA) was 1232.9 kcal. Energy intake and EEE from KDRI were higher than EER from EDPA. Dietary intake of dietary fiber, calcium, potassium, zinc, vitamin $B_2$, niacin, vitamin C were lower, and protein, phosphorous, iron, sodium, vitamin A, vitamin $B_1$, vitamin $B_6$, vitamin E were higher than the corresponding ones of KDRI. Subjects liked meats, fishes and shellfish, and fruits, while subjects disliked milk, seaweeds and salted fish and salted vegetables. Cooked rice, soybean paste soup, beef, cooked sliced radish strip, and yogurt were favorite foods, with steam being a favorite cooking method. Subjects considered nutrition as the most important factor for improving food service quality. Conclusions: Results of this study could be utilized for improving food-service for the residents in elderly care facilities, and provide a basis for setting reference intake of energy and nutrients of the elderly having very low activity levels.

옥천군 생활문화체육센터 도서관 건립 후 운영 방안을 위한 이용자 인식조사 연구 (A Study on the User Perception for the Operational Plan Following the Establishment of the Okcheon-gun Daily Life Culture and Sports Center Library)

  • 본 연구는 옥천군 생활문화체육센터 도서관 건립 이후 운영 방안을 수립할 필요성을 기반으로 하며, 옥천군 내의 공공도서관 이용자를 대상으로 옥천군 도서관의 기능·역할 및 장서 운영방향, 이용자 서비스 활성화 및 이용현황 조사, 향후 이용 의사 등에 대한 선호도 조사, 희망 서비스에 대한 인식 등을 조사하였다. 인식조사 결과를 기반으로 옥천군민이 도서관에 요구하는 방향성을 파악하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 장서 계획 수립 시 이용자의 요구도를 반영하여 자료 유형은 인쇄자료 및 멀티미디어 자료를 기반으로 하고, 문학, 예술, 역사, 기술과학 등의 주제분야를 우선적으로 고려하여 수집할 필요가 있을 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 다양한 정보서비스를 제공하기 위해 전반적인 정보서비스 계획 수립이 필요하며, 이와 함께 이용자 선호도에 따른 다양한 정보서비스 개발과 협력형 서비스 제공이 필요할 것으로 파악되었다. 셋째, 옥천군민들의 프로그램에 대한 요구도가 높은 것을 고려하여 향후 다양한 주제 및 각 연령층에 적합한 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해야 할 것으로 파악되었다. 넷째, 신규건립 및 공간 개선이 필요하며, 전반적으로 열린 공간에 대한 선호도가 높게 나타났다. 문화공간의 경우 청소년 문화시설, 주민편의시설, 무한상상실, (체험)전시관 등에 대한 선호도가 높게 나타났다.

옻칠가구 디자인 개발을 위한 감성공학적 연구 (A Study to Sensibility Technology for the Development of the Traditional Lacquered Furniture Design)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the preference of traditional lacquered furniture and to suggest furniture design guideline. Subjects consisted of 336 residents aged up 20 years old in Seoul and Kyung-ki. area. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package. The results of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test and ANOVA are presented. The result of this study showed that the traditional and environmental values of the traditional lacquered furniture were highly appraised. With a furniture plan, modernized and stylelike design was desired and the table type furniture were wanted. And preference of traditional lacquered furniture was distinct by sex and age groups. Women and older age group wanted more decorative and luxury design than other groups. These results provide a practical guideline for the development of the traditional lacquered furniture design for users.

농촌경관의 시각 정체성에 대한 연구 - 도시와 농촌 거주자 지각 비교를 중심으로 - (A study on the Visual identity of Rural Landscape - Focusing on the Comparison between Urban and Rural Residents -)

  • Recently, there are many people who live in rural keep getting away from their town. The reason why become aging and reducing society in Rural is weakness of agricultural competition, education, culture and welfare. Thereupon, we need counter plans to make boom in exhaustion rural landscape counter plan, losing consciousness of citizenship, over developing from city planners who are giving serious damage to rural landscape. However, there are many promotions going on to cover weakness of rural. In this research, to set up the right view of rural which considered the different cognitions, it is important to derive each preference or non-preference scenery, and countrified or non countrified scenery. From different cognition, finding preserved and improved factors is necessary to preserve, reform, and improve the countryside scenery. Based on this, to investigate natural characters of viewpoint is providing right direction for future rural landscape.

색상 및 적용위치에 따른 DSC 통합창호 디자인 컨셉에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design Concept of DSC Window by Color and Installation Position)

  • The purpose of the study is to apprehend the preference of occupants to colors and installation locations for DSC combined windows and doors, and suggest a concept to optimize the design and function of windows and doors. A miniature model was made applying green, blue, and red colored DSC windows and doors to survey preference about DSC colors and applied location. And a survey was accomplished to 140 subjects by showing pictures of the model and the result of the survey became the basis for suggesting a concept to design DSC integrated windows and doors. Through the survey, blue color and upper part were chosen as the highest level of satisfaction in the situation of external brightness and residence. On the contrary to this, red color was chosen as the lowest level of preference when applied to both of upper and lower parts of winders and doors. Therefore, it's expected that, if various patterns of texture are developed for blue colored DSC, and installation is arranged based on upper part of windows and doors where lighting condition and comfort are less affected, then, conditions of brightness, view, and residents satisfaction will be equally fulfilled.

제천지역의 향토음식에 관한 인지도 및 기호도 조사 (Study on the Perception and Preference of the Native Local Foods in Jecheon Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to have a proper understanding and a concern about native local food in Jecheon area. The data was obtained by use of questionnaires to residents in Jecheon and statistical analysis was performed The results were as follows: 1. Deodeokgui got the highest score in perception, preference, and possibility of development as a native local food in Jecheon. 2. Hyangeobaeksuk and Memiljeonbyung are significantly different in perception by gender. Perception scores of native local food were not significantly different by increase of age and resident period The perception scores of Dotorichaemuk and Minmulbibimhoe by nuclear family member were significantly high compared with that by extended family members. The perception score of Deodeokgui increased as the monthly income increased 3. Female subjects liked Gondeurebap and Memiljeonbyung whereas male ones liked Hyangeobaeksuk and Minmulbibimhoe. Preferences of Torimyun, Dotorichaemuk, Kongtang, Hyangeobaeksuk, Chikyori, Gobonju Seungumchotteok were increased as the age increased 4. According to this study, modernization was required for development of native local food.

대전 지역 중국 유학생들의 한국 음식에 대한 인지도와 기호도 (Survey of Korean Food Acknowledgement and Preference by Chinese Students in Daejeon)

  • The acknowledgement and preference for Korean food by Chinese students in the Daejeon area of Korea was surveyed. The students(n=132) were comprised of 57.6% males and 42.4% females, with 56.1% being >20-years-of-age and 43.9% being<20-years-of-age and 42.4% being Korean residents for over 1 year. The most recognizable aspect of Korean food was familiarity with Kimchi, Bulgogi and Bibimbap. Participants were least aware of the affordability of Korean food. Average understanding for Korean food of the Chinese students was 2.77~3.00 on a 5 point scale. Participants highly preferred(in order) Ssalbap, Gomtang and Bulgogi, while Dolsotbap, Samgyetang and Gimgui were not preferred. Female students preferred Gamjatang and Manduguk more than male students. Those students who had lived in Korea for over 1 year preferred Bulgogi and Samgyeopsal, and those residing<3 months preferred Guksujangguk. Over half of the students surveyed had knowledge of Korean food and its preparation; of these students, Korean food preferences were for Kalguksu, Mul Naengmyeon, Moosengchae, and Oisengchae.

  • The fast growth of the elderly population and nuclear families have been creating substantial needs for residential facilities of aged people in Korea. In this study, reviews on housing preference and physical constraints have been performed based on previous researches. In this study, the results of the analyses propose developmental strategies for the elderly housing in Korea as follows: 1)Housing preference and other psychological trends of Korean elderly are rooted in changeable condition of the emotion and lack of knowledge. Therefore, the housing preference of the Korean elderly should not be considered a fixed reflection ; rather, it should be regarded as a continuously adjusted trends according to later experience and emotional status after residing in the elderly care facilities. 2)Design of elderly housing should be guided within two principles of easy access and high usability. The principles also require maximazation of social interactions among frail elderly residents on age-segregated structure. 3) The experiment among 201 frail elderly shows that each shower stall should accommodate 5-by-5 feet square for wheelchair u-turn, and 48 inch height for kitchen topsink. Finally, the experiment shows that ramp slope of the ederly housing should be within 1/16 and 1/20.

부산 지역 주민들의 김치 구매 및 섭취 선호도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Preference for Purchase and Ingestion of Kimchi among Busan Residents)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the preference for purchase and ingestion of Korean traditional food Kimchi among the different age groups in order to find a way to increase Kimchi consumption. The result of a questionnaire is from 51 male respondents(14.6%) and 299 female ones(85%). This indicates that most of the female respondents buy Kimchi. Second, 61.7% of the respondents have experience purchasing ready-made Kimchi. Third, the most preferred purchase place of Kimchi is a big mart or a department store. Fourth, the important factors of purchasing come nutrition, price, brand, color or package in that order. Also, 60.9% of respondents show that they "should eat Kimchi". Fifth, the reason of eating Kimchi is taste in the age groups under 20s and 30s and above 50s. Lastly, the analysis on the importance of ingestion shows as follows: respondents in their 20s are 57 persons(16.3%), 30s 59(16.9%), 40s 162(46.3%), and 50s 72(20.6%), showing 40s the highest among them.
