인천지역 노인들의 식품군별 식품섭취 및 관련인자 비교연구 (A Comparison Study of the Daily Food Intake and Its Related Factors of the Elderly Living in Incheon)

  • The daily food intake and its related factors of the elderly(aged over 60) living in Incheon were compared. Self administered questionnaires were collected from 418 elderly. Statistical data analysis was completed using a SPSS v. 10.0 program. The results are summarized as follows: About 70% of elderly took grains and starch foods relatively high. The daily intakes of them was significantly influenced by ages of elderly, self-perceived health status, degree of drinking, meal regularity and nutritional balance of meals. More than 80% of elderly responded to take the food group of meat, fish and eggs poorly. Among various factors, the residence type and snack intake frequency influenced the daily intake of those foods statistically. A half of elderly took the vegetables and fruits everyday more than average. The daily consumption of vegetables and fruits was significantly influenced by sex, ages, exercise, snack intake frequency and preference of spices. Most elderly consumed fewer servings of milk and dairy products. About 60% of them did not take milk and dairy products daily. The daily contribution of those foods was significantly influenced by residence and exercise. 45.5% of elderly took oils and sugars more than average everyday which was influenced significantly by residence, exercise, snack intake frequency and meal regularity. In conclusion, the important influencing factors on the daily food intakes of elderly might be related to ages, residence, family, smoking, drinking, exercise, snack intake frequency and meal regularity. Therefore, a situation-oriented and practically organized nutrition education and ingestion support programs which consider the elderlies' socioeconomic status may help to improve the daily food intake of elderly in Incheon area.

기장읍 치면열구전색 사업에 대한 학부모의 인식도에 관한 조사 (Knowledge and Attitude of the Parents on School Based Fissure Sealant Program at Gigang-eup, Korea)

  • 본 연구는 치면열구전색 사업의 확대 발전에 기여할 수 있는 기초 자료를 마련할 목적으로 2002년부터 사업을 실시하고 있는 부산광역시 기장읍 소재의 3개 초등학교 학생 학부모 899명을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 치아우식예방수단 중에서 치면열구전색의 상대적 중요도는 100점 만점에 50.1점으로 잇솔질이나 식이조절에 비해 낮게 나타났다. 2. 치면열구전색 사업에 대한 인지자율은 93.3%였으며, 치면열구전색 사업 목적에 대한 정인지자는 96.3%였다. 3. 치면열구전색 사업 찬성여부에 대해서는 '좋다'가 94.1%로 높게 나타났으며, 성별, 연령별, 학력별 모두 90% 이상으로 높게 나타났다. 4. 치면열구전색 사업의 인지획득 경로별 응답률은 '전문가(치과병의원, 보건소)'가 59.5%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 5. 치면열구전색 실시 후 64.5%가 유지상태를 살펴보았으며, 96.4%가 치면열구전색 후 재검사를 희망하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on the Color Characteristics of Preferred Clothing Textiles of Female College Students - A Comparison of Blouses and Shirts -

  • This study analyzed and compared the color characteristics of preferred textiles for blouses and shirts of college students. After the survey of preference in fabrics for blouses and shirts of college students according to season, colors of preferred fabrics were analyzed. Spectral data were measured and a chromaticity diagram was drawn. The color of shirt fabric that college students preferred in the spring/fall was PB (Purple-Blue) and light shades, and in summer, PB color and pale shades. Generally achromatic black or a simple color that is close to an achromatic color, light and soft shades were preferred. For blouse fabric, PB, d (dull) and g (grayish) tones were preferred in spring/fall, G (Green) and It., d. were preferred in summer. Achromatic white and medium, soft shaded chromatic especially greenish colors were preferred. In spring fall, regardless of the clothing item, PB was the most preferred color. Y (Yellow) was the most preferred color for shirts, and for blouses, R (Red) was the most preferred. For achromatic color, black is preferred for shirts, white is preferred for blouses. In summer, the color of preferred shirt fabric was PB, and blouse fabric had a lot of G color. College students prefer simple colors which are close to achromatic colors, and light and soft color were preferred for shirt fabric and they preferred various, medium shaded and closer to pure colors for blouses because college students tend to consider the aesthetic side as important and usually wear blouses less often than shirts.

국내·외 SPA 브랜드의 이미지 기반 패션 큐레이션 이미지 유형 및 이용자의 이미지 선호에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Image Types and User's Preference on Image-based Fashion Curation of Domestic and Foreign SPA Brands)

  • This study classified and analyzed the types of images posted on official accounts operated by domestic and foreign SPA brands on Instagram and Pinterest, which are image-based fashion curations, and performed a survey on preferred image types in the fashion curations of SPA brands. It aims to induce active apparel purchasing behavior of consumers through the suggestion of image types about fashion curations for effective communication between fashion brands and consumers. The survey to targets the 20s and 30s was carried out from October 23, 2015 until November 22 and conducted factor analysis, paired t-test. The above images were classified into four types based on previous studies: product images, brand images, lifestyle images, multiple images. The results of the survey were also divided into four factors in line with the classification of image types. Generally, foreign SPA brands(H&M, Uniqlo, Zara) used image-based fashion curation services more frequently than domestic SPA brands(8Seconds, Mixxo, Spao, Tngt). The analysis of image types in the fashion curations of SPA brands showed that product images accounted for the highest proportion of images used in the official accounts of SPA brands. However, the comparison of averages on the preferred image types of survey respondents showed that the users who had once visited the official accounts of SPA brands on Instagram and Pinterest preferred in the order of lifestyle information > product information > brand information > multiple information provided by SPA brands, which was statistically significant.

An Outline of Meat Consumption in the Indian Population - A Pilot Review

  • The consumption of meat is increasing in India and agriculture is considered as the backbone of a majority of people. Livestock plays a significant role, and poultry and dairy are the major sectors contributing to economic development. The majority of meats consumed in India are fish, bovine, mutton, goat, pig, and poultry. In Indian context, culture, traditions, customs, and taboos influence meat consumption to a great extent. However, studies show that urbanization has been causing a rise in demand for meat products. India is the world's second largest exporter of beef. In India, 95% of goat meat produced is consumed locally. Meat consumption, in particular, is determined by the religions where pork is forbidden to Muslims and beef is prohibited to Hindus. The preference and consumption of chicken meat can be considered as a universal phenomenon and chicken meat is greatly accepted by consumers in India as compared to the other meat consumption. The increase of chicken meat consumption is due to the versatility of the meat, relatively low cost in comparison to other meat, and the acceptance of the chicken meat to all religions. There has been a great rise in the production of livestock products and this is expected to continue in the future. The pattern of meat consumption depends considerably on culture, tradition and urbanization. This review was formulated with the objective of identifying the meat consumption patterns in a typical Indian society.

포스팅 정보원 유형에 따른 정보가 브랜드 신뢰도, 제품태도 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향 - 시나 웨이보(Sina Weibo) 일반인 포스팅과 기업 포스팅 비교 - (The Effect of Posting Source Type Information on Brand Reliability, Product Attitude and Purchase Intention - Comparison of general person posting and corporate posting in Sina Weibo -)

  • 본 연구는 중국의 시나 웨이보에서 수용자가 동일한 제품 정보를 접하더라도 정보원의 유형(일반인/기업)에 따라 받아들이는 수용자의 브랜드 신뢰도, 제품태도 및 구매의도 태도의 변화가 어떠한지를 확인하고자 총 160명을 2 그룹으로 나누고 실험을 실시하였다. 설문은 2017년 4월 3일부터 7일까지 실시하였으며 오류가 없는 일반인 포스팅 77명과 기업 포스팅 70명의 설문을 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과 시나 웨이보에서 포스팅 정보원 유형에 따른 브랜드 신뢰도(일반인 포스팅 M=2.5455), 기업 포스팅 M=2.1306), 제품 태도(일반인 포스팅 M=2.4589, 기업 포스팅 M=1.9690) 및 구매의도(일반인 포스팅 M=2.5974, 기업 포스팅 M=2.2750)에 대한 결과 일반인 포스팅이 기업 포스팅보다 높은 선호도를 보였다. 본 연구 결과는 중국 SNS상에서 정보원 유형 차이에 따른 소비자의 태도를 이해하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

  • The aim of affective engineering is to develop a new product by translating customer affections into design factors. Affective data have so far been analyzed using a multivariate statistical analysis, but the affective data do not always have linear features assumed under normal distribution. Rough sets model is an effective method for knowledge discovery under uncertainty, imprecision and fuzziness. Rough sets model is to deal with any type of data regardless of their linearity characteristics. Therefore, this study utilizes rough sets model to extract affective knowledge from affective data. Four types of scent alternatives and four types of sounds were designed and the experiment was performed to look into affective differences in subject's preference on air conditioner. Finally, the purpose of this study also is to extract knowledge from affective data using rough sets model and to figure out the relationships between rough sets based affective engineering method and statistical one. The result of a case study shows that the proposed approach can effectively extract affective knowledge from affective data and is able to discover the relationships between customer affections and design factors. This study also shows similar results between rough sets model and statistical method, but it can be made more valuable by comparing fuzzy theory, neural network and multivariate statistical methods.

거처지별로 비교한 대학생의 식생활 행태 (Comparison of Dietary Behaviors by Type of Residence among College Students)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the differences of the dietary behavior of the college students by the type of the residence, that is, home-living, dormitory-living, and self-cooking. The responses of 307 students to the questionaire were analyzed. The average meal frequency of the students was 2.4 times a day. Breakfast was skipped most frequently, especially in dormitory-living and self-cooking students compared to home-living ones. Forty-three percent of the students were found to eat breakfast less than twice a week. Such a poor eating habit was mainly due to insufficient time or idleness. When the quality of the meal was evaluated, dormitory-living and self-cooking students had worse scores than home-living ones. The formers had poor dietary habit in terms of balanced breakfast and food diversity of each meal compared to the latter. Fast foods and coffee were consumed more frequently by dormitory-living and self-cooking students than home-living ones. The main food they eat was rice. However, female dormitory-living students had a higher tendency to enjoy bread for breakfast and noodle for dinner compared to the other groups. Home-living and self-cooking students had snack more frequently than dormitory-living ones, and female than male. In terms of snack time, most of the respondents had snack between lunch and dinner or after dinner. The percentage of those who had snack after dinner was greater in dormitory-living and self-cooking students than home-living students. Results of the food preference test showed that their favorite dishes were fruit salad, Bulgogi, uncurdled Tofu stew, Kimbab, and boiled rice. We observed that dormitory-living and self-cooking students had more problems in their dietary behavior. Therefore, they need to learn how to manage their own meals. This study might be helpful to develop nutrition education materials for the dietary improvement of the college students.

실내공간의 이미지 평가에 나타난 주시시간 특성에 관한 연구 - 실내공간 유형별 정보획득을 중심으로 - (A Study on Characteristics of Observation Time Found in Image Evaluation of Interior Space - Focusing on Acquisition of Spatial Information by Interior Space Types -)

  • Assuming that different spatial types involves the change of observation time to acquire the spatial information, this study intended to analyze the observation time by interior space types and derive the proper time for spatial evaluation. Coming to the study method, in order to analyze the characteristics of observation time in the image evaluation of interior space by types, it looked into the observation time chosen by the testees during evaluation. The findings of this study are as follows: First, the observation time differed by genders and spatial types: men's average time was longest for modern (93.3 sec.) and natural (89.4 sec.) spaces; women's average time was longest for classic space (110.7 sec.), which was the shortest for men. Second, the intensity of observation time zone differed by spatial types: this finding can imply that different design types require different establishment of observation time for evaluation even if the spatial elements are the same. Third, analyzing the distribution of time zones chosen by most testees showed that men's observation time zones were more intensely distributed than those of women. Fourthly, the observation lime for general space could be derived from the gender-based comparison that excluded the difference by types, but considering that different design types lead to different observation time, it could be seen as proper for evaluation of interior space to establish the difference of observation time by spatial types. Finally, Analysis showed the highest preference to the time '(3)'. However, obtaining information presented is the most highly effective time is '(6). Thus, the preferred time zone is different and effective, according to the results of the analysis.

엠파이어 시대의 드레스 재현을 위한 형태분석 및 패턴연구 (Analysis of Dress Style and Patterns for the Reproduction of Empire Style Dress)

  • This study aims at analyzing the silhouette, dress patterns and detail of Empire Era(1789-1825), and making use of this results for the modern stage costume construction. The dresses of Empire era were divided into X and H style. The results revealed that the bust girth of X style group was bigger than that of H style group. Such patterns as high waistline, puff sleeve, train, etc. which appeared during the peak time of Empire style period were more remarkable for H style group. This obviously indicated that more epical characteristics were observed for H style group than for X style group. Similarly to silhouette analysis, based on the results from cluster analysis conducted to put similar groups together, two groups were formed - a visually differentiated and complex group and a simple group in the absence of detail. Most dress details from Empire period had simple embellishments. Comparison of the average size of the patterns between two groups indicated that waist front length of H style was shorter than that of X style. Front interscye was even greater than back width for both groups. Such trend was quite different from today's pattern in which back width is larger than front width based on body measurements. Preference for big breast during the period was reflected on dress patterns and the side length of front side goes across the back much further for bodice patterns. Two representatives were selected and reproduced using materials similar to those of real dresses of Empire style, following two times fit test.
