9-(4-[$^{18}F$] Fluoro-3-hydroxymethylbutyl) guanine 합성의 자동화와 최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Automation and Optimization of 9-(4-[$^{18}F$] Fluoro-3-hydroxymethylbutyl) Guanine Synthesis)

  • 단순 헤르페즈 제1형 티미딘 키나제(Herpes simplex virus type 1 thymidine kinase. HSV1-tk) 유전자는 보고 유전자(reporter gene)로서 필요한 조건뿐만 아니라 별도의 치료 유전자를 따로 이입할 필요가 없다는 장점을 가지고 있어 유전자 영상과 치료에서 가장 널리 사용되는 유전자 중 하나이다. 본 연구는 HSV1-tk 보고 유전자의 기질로서 많이 사용하고 있는 9-(4-[$^{18}F$] Fluoro-3-hydroxymethylbutyl) guanine ([$^{18}F$] FHBG) 합성의 자동화와 더불어 최적의 합성 조건을 구현하기 위하여 실행하게 되었다. [$^{18}F$] FHBG 합성의 자동화를 위해 Explora-RN (CTI, USA) module을 사용하였다. 최적의 합성수율 조건을 찾기 위하여 반응시간의 변화(3 min, 5 min, 10 min)와 반응온도의 변화($110^{\circ}C$, $120^{\circ}C$, $130^{\circ}C$)를 주었다. 또한 precursor 용량의 변화(5 mg, 7 mg, 10 mg)에도 합성수율이 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. [$^{18}F$] fluorination 단계에서 가장 높은 합성수율을 보인 반응온도는 $130^{\circ}C$였고, 반응시간은 5분이었다. 반면 precursor의 용량 변화 실험에서는 10 mg을 넣었을 때의 합성 수율($32{\pm}1.2%$)에 비하여 5 mg과 7 mg의 양에서는 안정된 값을 얻지 못하였다. [$^{18}F$] FHBG 합성의 Explora-RN 모듈에서의 자동화를 완성하였고 최적의 합성수율을 재현할 수 있는 반응시간과 반응온도, precursor의 농도를 찾았다. 하지만 감량 precursor 방법은 낮은 농도에서 비교적 큰 편차를 보여 안정된 값을 얻지는 못하였다. 이에 따라 임상에 직접 적용하기 위해서 더 많은 연구가 시행되어져야 할 것이다.

Formation Mechanism of Y-type Barium Ferrite Prepared by the Glass-ceramic Method

  • Y-type barium ferrite $(Ba_2Zn_2Fe_{12}O_{22})$ was prepared by the glass-ceramic method. Glasses with composition of $0.1ZnO{\cdot}0.9(0.3Fe_2O_3{\cdot}0.5BaO{\cdot}0.2B_2O_3)$ were prepared, and the precipitation behavior of Y-type ferrite from the glass matrix was investigated by heating glass specimens at various temperature. $\alpha-BaFe_2O_4$ which is a precursor of M-type ferrite $(BaFe_{12}O_{19})$ was precipitated at about 813 K and an unknown compound, phase X, was precipitated at about 850 K. M-type ferrite and Y-type ferrite started to form at about 923 K and 1103 K, respectively. The formation of Y-type ferrite was int erpreted as the result of the reaction of M-type ferrite with a melt of phase X.

CFR 법에 의한 산화아연 박막의 제조 및 황 화합물 검출을 위한 전기적 특성 (Preparation of Zinc Oxide Thin Film by CFR Method and its Electrical Property for Detection of Sulfur Compounds)

  • 본 연구에서는 반도체식 가스센서 재료로서 활용 가능한 ZnO 박막을 Continuous Flow Reaction(CFR) 방법으로 실리콘 기판 위에 성장시켰다. 또한 전구물질로 사용한 zinc acetate의 농도에 따른 산화아연 박막의 성장특성과 이들의 전기적 특성이 조사되었다. 산화아연 박막 제조는 0.005~0.02 M의 zinc acetate 농도에서 수행되었다. 산화아연 박막을 구성하고 있는 ZnO의 입자크기는 농도가 증가할수록 증가되었으며, 박막의 두께도 함께 증가되었다. CFR 법에 의한 산화아연 박막의 성장속도는 전구물질의 농도에 비례적으로 의존되는 것을 확인하였으며, 균일한 박막을 제조하기 위한 전구물질의 최적 농도는 0.01 M이였다. 한편, 전구물질의 농도를 달리하여 제조된 산화아연 박막의 전압에 대한 전류를 I-V 측정기로 측정한 결과, 박막의 두께가 증가될수록 높은 전류가 흘렀다. 그러므로 산화아연 박막의 전류를 전구물질의 농도변화로 조절할 수 있다. 또한 산화아연 박막을 $300^{\circ}C$에서 5 min 동안 $500ppmv\;H_2S$에 노출시킨 결과, 전압에 대한 전류값이 낮아졌다. 이와 같이 산화아연의 전기적 특성은 가스센서로 응용할 수 있는 가능성을 확인시켜 주는 결과라 할 수 있다.

  • We studied on the synthesis of chloromethylated polystyrene as a precursor of optically active polymers for direct resolution of optical isomers. Changing the degree of crosslinking and the kind of crosslinking agents, several polystyrene resin matrices were synthesized. The matrices were chloromethylated with methylal and chlorosulfonic acid as chloromethylating agents. The effects of solvents of various dielectric constants on the chloromethylation were quantitavely examined. We also synthesized chloromethylated polystyrene of macroreticular type that retained large surface area and good physical stability. The differences between the macroreticular type and macroporous type were investigated.

COSMIC RAY ACCELERATION AT BLAST WAVES FROM TYPE Ia SUPERNOVAE

  • We have calculated the cosmic ray(CR) acceleration at young remnants from Type Ia supernovae expanding into a uniform interstellar medium(ISM). Adopting quasi-parallel magnetic fields, gasdynamic equations and the diffusion convection equation for the particle distribution function are solved in a comoving spherical grid which expands with the shock. Bohm-type diffusion due to self-excited $Alfv\acute{e}n$ waves, drift and dissipation of these waves in the precursor and thermal leakage injection were included. With magnetic fields amplified by the CR streaming instability, the particle energy can reach up to $10^{16}Z$ eV at young supernova remnants(SNRs) of several thousand years old. The fraction of the explosion energy transferred to the CR component asymptotes to 40-50 % by that time. For a typical SNR in a warm ISM, the accelerated CR energy spectrum should exhibit a concave curvature with the power-law slope flattening from 2 to 1.6 at $E{\gtrsim}0.1$ TeV.

Review: NanoFermentation을 이용한 자철석 합성연구 (Review: Magnetite Synthesis using NanoFermentation)

  • 미생물에 의한 광물합성은 지화학적 순환 및 미생물의 독성에 대한 저항기작을 위해 주로 연구되어져 왔으나 본 논문에서는 NanoFermentation을 통한 경제적, 친환경적, 저에너지, 대량생산이 가능한 나노입자 크기의 자철석 합성연구를 소개하고 또한 초상자성(Superparamagnetism)과 준강자성(Ferrimagnetism)을 결정짓는 입자크기에 대한 조절인자를 살펴보고자 한다. NanoFermentation을 통한 자철석의 합성 시 입자 크기의 조절 인자는 선택된 미생물 종 및 배양 온도, 배양액의 화학적 조성, 배양기간, 치환된 원소의 조성 및 함량, 자철석 전조물질(Precursor)의 형태, 반응 부피의 증가 및 자철석 전조물질의 농도와 같은 조건들의 조합에 의해 결정되어지며 주로 핵형성 및 결정 성장의 균형에 의해 조절된다. 생광물화 작용을 통한 무기재료의 합성 연구는 앞서 언급한 지표에서의 원소의 순환 및 미생물 생리학적 측면뿐만 아니라 최종 산물인 나노입자의 대량 생산을 통해 재료학적 응용 분야에도 많은 파급 효과가 예상된다.

Analysis of Bovine Seminal Plasma Proteins from Korean Native Cattle, Hanwoo, and Korean Native Brindle Cattle

  • After spermatogenesis, spermatozoa come in contact with fluids in the epididymis where they mature. During ejaculation, spermatozoa are mixed with secretions from prostate gland, vesicular glands, and bulbourethral glands. During natural mating, seminal plasma is deposited in the female reproductive tract eliciting various physiological and immunological responses. With the advances in proteomics, the components of seminal plasma have been identified and the information may be valuable in identifying markers for fertility. Components of seminal plasma that affect fertility have been discovered and the mechanism of action of these factors has been determined. The objective of this study was to determine the specific seminal plasma proteins from Korean native cattle, Hanwoo, and Korean native brindle cattle (KNBC) with the long term goal of improving fertilization rate. After SDS-PAGE and 2-dimensional gel electrophoresis, proteins were identified by Q-ToF analysis. They include plasma serine protease inhibitor precursor and platelet-activating factor acetylhydrolase after SDS-PAGE. Number and density of the spots in 2-dimensional gels were higher in KNBC than Hanwoo. Proteins identified from the paired spots of both breeds include chain A, bull seminal plasma PDC-109 Fibronectin Type II module, BSP-30 kDa precursor, and Spermadhesin Z13 or its precursor. Interestingly, some proteins were identified from multiple spots. The functional differences of these diverse forms of the proteins may require further studies. With their previously reported roles in sperm capacitation by these proteins, the studies on the mechanism of action, ligand interaction and the variation in the genome may help improving fertility in cattle.

원료물질에 따른 실리콘 질화막의 원자층 증착 특성 비교 (A Comparative Study on the Precursors for the Atomic Layer Deposition of Silicon Nitride Thin Films)

  • Silicon nitride thin films were deposited by atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique in a batch-type reactor by alternating exposures of precursors. XJAKO200414714156408$_4$ or$ SiH_2$$Cl_2$ was used as the Si precursor, $NH_3$ was used as the N precursor, and the deposited films were characterized comparatively. The thickness of the film linearly increased with the number of deposition cycles, so that the thickness of the film can be precisely controlled by adjusting the number of cycles. As compared with the deposition using$ SiCl_4$, the deposition using $SiH_2$$Cl_2$ exhibited larger deposition rate at lower precursor exposures, and the deposited films using $SiH_2$$Cl_2$ had lower wet etch rate in a diluted HF solution. Silicon nitride films with the Si:N ratio of approximately 1:1 were obtained using either Si precursors at $500^{\circ}C$, however, the films deposited using $SiH_2$$Cl_2$ exhibited higher concentration of H as compared with those of the $SiC_4$ case. Silicon nitride thin films deposited by ALD showed similar physical properties, such as composition or integrity, with the silicon nitride films deposited by low-pressure chemical vapor deposition, lowering deposition temperature by more than $200^{\circ}C$.

Properties of Synthesized Al2O3-CuO-ZnO/Ni Composite for Hydrogen Membranes

  • An $Al_2O_3$-CuO-ZnO (ACZ) precursor powder was synthesized by a facial sol-gel process using a nonionic surfactant span 80 as the chelating agent to improve the surface area and morphology. When creating a hydrogen membrane, several kinds of properties are required, such as easy dissociation of hydrogen molecules, fast hydrogen diffusion, high hydrogen solubility, and resistance to hydrogen embrittlement. ACZ-Ni composite membranes (cermet) were prepared with this precursor and pure Ni powder via the hot press sintering (HPS) method. The ACZ powder was characterized by XRD, BET, and FE-SEM. Hydrogen permeation experiments were performed by Sievert's type of hydrogen permeation membrane equipment. The hydrogen permeability of ACZ/Ni 10 wt% and ACZ/Ni 20 wt% was obtained as 7.2 and $10molm^{-2}s^{-1}$ at RT, respectively. These values of the corresponding membranes were slightly increased with increasing pressures.

Sol의 물리화학적 변수들이 $Pb(Mg, Zn)_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}O_3$ 박막의 우선 배향성에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Physico-chemical Factors of Sol on the Degree of Preferred Orientation in $Pb(Mg, Zn)_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}O_3$ Thin Films)

  • Thin films of Pb(Mg, Zn)1/3Nb2/3O3 were fabricated by spin coating the Pb-Mg-Zn-Nb-O complex alkoxide sols on(111) Pt-coated MgO (100) planes. It was observed that the content of H2O and the rheological characteristics of sol greatly influenced the orientation of perovskite grains after thin-film formation. A strong preferential orientation of (100)-type planes of the perovskite grains was obtained for the sol aged for 15 days with the molar ratio of H2O to total metal alkoxides=2. As small angle X-ray scattering experiment in the Porod region was performed to correlate the observed preferential orientation with the network structure of precursors at various stage of aging. It was shown that the degree of branching of the Pb-Mg-Zn-Nb-O precursor chain had a direct effect on the preferred oreintation, and weakly branched precursor systems led to highly oriented grains after thin-film formation.
