Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of an education program on safety perception, safety control, autonomy and accountability in clinical nurses. Precedent cases related to patient safety were used in the education program. Methods: A quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest measures was used. Participants in the study, 72 nurses in the experimental group, 71 nurses in the control group, were enrolled for 3 months. The education program was composed of the 20 precedent cases related to patient safety from home and foreign countries. Results: The major findings of this study were as follows: Safety perception (p=.000), Safety control (p=.000), attitude toward autonomy (p=.000), and attitude toward accountability (p=.000) improved after the education program. Conclusion: The findings from this study indicate that an education program using precedent cases is an efficient method to improve behavior and change attitudes towards protecting patients' safety and preventing malpractice claims against nurses.

The master of ship is always authorised to perform whatever acts are ordinarily necessary for the safe and proper prosecution of the voayge with regard to both ship and cargo. In other words, when a ship is away from her home port, where her business was managed, the master generally carried the owner's authority, and ordinarily he had power to enter into engagements, on their behalf, for carrying goods in the ship, or for letting her service, provided those engagements were consistent with the usual manner of employing her adopted by the owners. Accordingly he has always to decide onboard for an adequate applying of statutory law and cases whenever he acts. But the master would appear to have no such autho-rity where he can communicate with the owners without difficulty as, now-a-days, he nearly always can. This paper, therefore, intend to review some guidance of his authority in accordance with the Korean Code of Commerce as well as precedent based on it. The paper is also simply to place at the disposal of young shipmasters and those who aspire to command some legal information concerning limit of master's authority away from vessel's home port through legal commentation on the precedent, which may assist them to a better understanding of the many problems they may be faced with in the course of their ca-reers. In order to make an efficient study of legal structure concerned for shipmaster's authority, several up-to-date precedents are selected and described herein by writer's opinion for preventing unreasonable legal dispute in this field before courts in future.

Precedents are data containing various types of information. In this study, I proposed a method to be utilized as legal information system for the public using automatic text analysis performed on precedents. It is carried out to analyze the defamation precedent using reference provision, judgment issues, major points of judgment, and reference precedents. As a result of the analysis, legal provisions used in defamation, key issues covered by defamation, and key cases are extracted. Although only applied to the Supreme Court case regarding defamation, the proposed methodology could be applied to various legal topics.

This study intended to investigate exploratorily the precedent factors affecting two types of perceived balances between work and life(family/leisure) and the antecedent ones affected by them, focusing on the metro train drivers. To attain this purpose, literature survey on the precedent factors, work-life balance, and antecedent factors was performed, and the study model was designed based on this survey, and then this model was analyzed empirically using Multiple-Regression. The results on the precedent factors showed that Job Demand, Self-Efficacy, and Age have significant effects on the negative transfer of work. On the other hand, it was shown that Affiliative Culture, Self-Efficacy, and Internal Locus of Control have significant effects on the family centered balance. And the results on the antecedent factors showed that family centered balance has significant effects on Job Satisfaction, Psychological Depression and Fatigue, Safety Behavior, and accident, and the negative transfer of work has significant effects on Physical and Psychological Depression and Fatigue, Emergency Stress, and Safety Behavior.

Precedent research and development of personal armor and anti-stab wearing system has been conducted since 2018 as a part of the government-affiliated cooperative development project to create the best utilization of present technology and achievement according to the civil and military technical cooperation project promotion law. At present, the armor system operated by the ROK(Republic of Korea) military, the police, and the marine police is utilizing only basic armor using armor vests and plates. Therefore it is necessary to develop the personal armor and anti-stab wearing system which is suitable for various tasks in army with maximum protection capability. In this paper, we analyzed the study about international technologies, market trends of the developed countries and scope of research, utilization plan, R&D results for the best armor and anti-stab wearing system development.

Recently, with the advance of computing and networking technique, the high speed internet becomes widespread, however, it is still hard job to do streaming the media which requires high network bandwidth over the internet. Previous VoD system researches for streaming over the internet mainly proposed techniques that controls the QoS(Quality of Service) of the media in proportion to the network status. Though, this could be the solution for the service provider while the service user who wants constant QoS may not satisfy with variable QoS. In the paper, we propose greedy precedent frame transmission technique, GPFT, for guarantee of constant QoS. In GPFT, Streaming VoD server prefetches precedent frames and transmits the frame greedily by increasing the frame transmission rate while the available network bandwidth is high. The GPFT uses the prefetched precedent frames to guarantee the QoS while the available network bandwidth is low. The experiment result shows that the proposed GPFT could guarantee the constant QoS by prefetching the frames adaptively to the network bandwidth with the characteristic of video stream.

The purpose of this study is to analyze precedents related with child abuse for protection of the rights of the child. There should be the law related with 'punishment for child abuse,' which is the grounds of punishment, to make a precedent in the law punishing for 'child abuse,' but there is the concept only for 'child abuse' in the Child Welfare Law, the fundamental law; therefore, for a direct judgment for punishment, only precedents of 'child abuse' related with loss of parental rights and judgements for criminal cases, civil cases and laws covering special cases have been made. For that reason, 'the special law related with punishment for child abuse cases' is desperately required (On last December 23, 2013, the special law related with punishment for child abuse cases passed the National Assembly). Hence, precedent analysis had performed by grouping precedent from 2000 to 2013 which were not judged as child abuse in trial but can be regarded as child abuse. When analyzing each precedent according to the contents of analysis and judgment by fact relevance in this study, problems which the current legislative system has were deducted through an implication of each case by diagnosing using diagraming after classifying lower instance terminated cases, which precedents of the Supreme Court and judgments sent to the Supreme Court were excluded, while excluding cases settled in the civil level and classifying analysis of civil case precedents which did not become a criminal case and completed as a civil case, analysis of criminal case precedents, classification of precedents of loss of the parental rights (regarding child abuse) and precedents of any other special laws. And compensatory tasks for special laws regarding punishment of child abuse were presented while suggesting compensatory tasks for the legislation regarding deducted problems.

Ecomuseum has changed for general museums with a strong historical connotation, and more identity museums, which reminds one of their purposes of providing evidence, conserving and remembering. Small museums playa very important social role and have a level of importance which should do something to improve cultural policy. The "ecomuseum" phenomenon, in other words this spontaneous birth of numerous museums in local communities, this desire to retrace one's history and fix it in one's mind, has only one precedent in Italy. This precedent involved the opening of numerous museums dedicated to the "Risorgimento" and "Patriotic History", which, in the closing decades of the 19th century, were founded on political input all over the country, in big towns and little villages alike. Searching amidst the exhibits for the memory of a national identity and they are proof that local communities are filled with an unstoppable need to know about their roots and to reassess their own identities.

The reduction of recovery time for delay, in the train movements, is generally realized through train operations in the shortest running time and it leads to maximum energy consumption. At the region of this shortest running time, the amount of energy consumption is sharply reduced according to the running time. So the effect for the energy savings can be largely obtained by furnishing a little spare time on train operations. In this paper, it has been modelized the delay and it's enlargement phenomena and formualted the relief patterns in order to restore the delay by restraint and relief of precedent traints. Also it has been proved the number of relief trains for minimum energy consumption exists and then represented one example of relief patterns.

Objectives Although tongue diagnosis is one of major diagnostic methods in east Asian traditional medicine, the standard of normal tongue color have not established. So we tried to suggest the method to establish the standard of normal tongue color range and the pilot data about the normal range. Materials and methods: 22 precedent study papers that presented the numerical data of normal (light red) tongue color were analyzed. At the same time, 46 adult people tongue color data were also collected and analyzed. Results Precedent studies showed remarkable fluctuations of the range of normal tongue color. Collected tongue color data of the 46 people showed mean Hue value 2 and standard deviation 14 in HSB system. Additionally, 3 ways of standard establishment for normal tongue color were suggested. Conclusion We suggest statistical method as a reasonable method for tongue color standard establishment and $2{\pm}14$ as a reference Hue value for normal tongue color.
