치과위생사 국가 실기시험 개선 연구 (A study on the improvement of the national dental hygienist practical examination)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the problems with the current practical examination, to suggest some of the right directions for that and to facilitate the improvement of the exam. Methods : The subjects in this study were the selected professors involving professors in charge of practice and the selected clinical dental hygienists who had ever served as the graders of the national practical exam. Results : A direct practical test was required in the national practical exam (77.3%), and educational facilities(79.2%)(p<0.05). They didn't put confidence in the national practical exam(81.0%) nor viewed the items about the removal and detection of dental calculus as appropriate(58.5%), either. Specifically, the items were considered to be more inappropriate by the professors in charge of practice(74.3%) than by the other professors and clinical dental hygienists(p<0.05). Concerning ways of administering the national exam, the largest group preferred that a professional evaluator should evaluate students in person by visiting their colleges(66.8%). Conclusions : The above-mentioned findings illustrated that both of the dental hygiene professors and the clinical dental hygienists thought the current national dental hygienist practical exam would absolutely be necessary since it exerted a great influence on education and educational facilities, and that the national exam should be improved to gain more confidence, to solve comprehensive problems and to ensure the efficiency of administration.

직무기반 치과기공사 실기시험 시행 방안에 대한 제언 (Suggestions on the implementation plan for job-based dental technician practical exam)

  • Purpose: This study aims to make suggestions for the implementation of the job-based dental technician practical exam. Methods: The duties of dental technicians and the recent trends in the dental technician field were defined and identified, respectively, to achieve the purpose of the current study. The practical test system of domestic and foreign national tests was comparatively analyzed to seek improvements. Additionally, the direction of the practical test to be taken in the future was investigated through a public hearing of domestic experts. Results: As a result of this study, the job site of dental technicians was recently found to be undergoing many changes, and it can be observed that related laws and the work site have already changed. Comparison of overseas test systems showed that Korea was limited to a rather small evaluation range; in general, the scope of the evaluation of the practical tests in foreign countries was widely conducted. In the results of the public hearing, opinions exist that the evaluation range of the practical test was expanded and that new subjects were needed, but the opinion on the existence of practical difficulties was mainly mentioned. Conclusion: The evaluation range of the current practical examination subjects should be expanded and the evaluation of digital dental engineering subjects should be added to proceed with the job-based practical examination. However, it seems that efforts should be made gradually through various efforts in the future due to practical difficulties.

치과기공사의 직무기반 국가 실기시험 실행을 위한 조사 연구 (Survey research to implement a job-based national practical exam for dental technicians)

  • Purpose: This study proposes measures needed to implement a job-based national practical exam for dental technicians. Methods: For this study, a survey was conducted targeting 244 currently employed individuals. The current national practical test for dental technicians was divided into directions for the job-based practical test, subjects that need improvement among the current practical test subjects, items that need to be reflected in the practical test evaluation for each subject, and subjects that need to be added to the practical test. It comprised ten questions (Cronbach's α=0.801). Results: The following results were obtained. Satisfaction with the current practical test was lower than average. Future improvement should focus on job-based evaluation. The dental ceramic lab technology subject needs to be reorganized urgently, and the tasks that require evaluation for each subject are different. Moreover, if evaluation subjects are added in the future, the introduction of assessment for dental CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing) subjects was found to be the most urgent. Conclusion: In this study, the most necessary tasks of the current national practical examination for dental technicians were evaluated and the content needed for future reorganization was investigated. Future tests should be expanded to evaluate critical job areas. Furthermore, it is necessary to open new courses in fields such as CAD/CAM, as they are in high demand in the workplace.

치과기공사 국가시험 실기시험 제도 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Dental Technicians practical examination system)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the improvement measure of dental technicians practical examination system. Methods: The subjects in this study were 290 dental technicians who were self-written questionnaire. The results were analyzed by SPSS 16.0. The collected data was analyzed by frequency and chi-square test. Results: Dental technician practical exam feasibility of survey were largely negative views. Articulators work required in practical exam as a tool used (28.7%), electric wax carver (19.5%), heating clear (17.8%), handpiece (16.2%) had a response. Dental Technician positions in accordance with practical exam in comparison to satisfaction, the professor is satisfied, but the clinical dental technicians were generally dissatisfied (p<0.05). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, Current is necessary to analyze the practical test. It also should be compared with foreign institutions. Long-term and short-term improvement examination system that can be applied to the improvement of the dental technician to draw practical test it is necessary to improve the system.

  • New national certified license tests for the facility management of new and renewable energy is given from this year. There are three national certified licenses including craftsman, industrial engineer and engineer. The subjects for the craftsman are photovoltaic facility for written exam and practical business of photovoltaic facility for writing exam. The subjects for the industrial engineer are theory, construction, management and law of the photovoltaic system for written exam and practical business of photovoltaic system for writing exam. The subjects for the engineer add one more subject compared with the industrial engineer, such as design of photovoltaic system. The first tests were given in september 28 in this year. The tests will be given three in 2014.

A study to improve the national technical qualification practical evaluation method of National Competency Standards in the field of organic agriculture

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest an improvement plan for the National Technical Qualification Practical Evaluation focusing on National Competency Standards. First, in order to strengthen practical techniques such as field abilities and expertise, practical evaluation methods were applied to the National Competency Standards, referring to a learning module focused on field performance. Second, an expert advisory committee in the field of organic agriculture was utilized to compare, analyze, and match the competency unit and competency unit elements of the National Competency Standards with the national technical qualification examination standards in field of organic agriculture. In addition, in order to identify work in progress in the industrial field, share professional practice skills, and analyze facilities and equipment, we visited an organic agriculture industry site. Through this, a practical evaluation exam was developed. Subsequently, in order to confirm the adequacy of the developed exam, the pilot test assessment was conducted for those majoring in organic agriculture. Finally, as a feasibility study, a survey was conducted. Based on the results, greater technical job competency in the field of organic agriculture will contribute to strengthening knowledge in this field by suggesting an improvement plan for the national technical qualifications practical evaluation method in the field of organic agriculture.

교원임용 시험을 준비하는 중등학교 기간제 교사들의 교직생활과 삶에 관한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on the Lives of Non-Tenured, Secondary School Teachers Who Are Preparing for Teachers' Exam)

  • 본 연구에서는 교원임용 시험을 준비하고 있는 기간제 교사들의 교직생활과 삶을 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 10명의 기간제 교사들을 대상으로 반구조화된, 일대일 면담을 진행하였고, 합의적 질적 연구 방법을 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대부분의 참여자들은 경제적 필요를 충족시키고 자신의 꿈인 교사생활의 기쁨과 보람을 맛보며, 임용 시험에 실질적인 도움을 얻고자 기간제 교사직을 선택한 것으로 나타났다. 기간제 교사생활에서 경험하는 어려움으로는 학교 관리자로부터의 차별 대우가 가장 두드러졌으며, 이로 인한 자존감의 저하와 정체성의 혼란을 겪고 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 이러한 차별이 오히려 임용 시험 준비에 대한 강한 의지로 전환되어 참여자들은 안정되고 당당한 교사 신분을 얻기 위해 임용시험준비에 전념하고 있다고 진술하였다. 하지만, 시험준비 과정에서 부족한 공부시간, 끝없는 공부양, 다양한 삶의 역할 수행, 체력 저하, 난해한 시험 유형, 이전 실패경험에서 오는 불안감 등으로 상당한 스트레스를 경험하는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구결과를 토대로 향후 연구의 방향에 대해 제언하였다.

  • Implementation of a process control language for a pager manufacturing is dealt in this paper. The pager manufacturing process is consisted of a tune and an exam part. In the tune part, three capacitor trimmers are tuned to optimize the state of the pager. In the exam part, message receiving status with the arbitrary calling is tested using a vision system. The program has the ability to reuse the address discarded in the exam part when the, pager testing is not working properly even though there exist the processing gaps between two processes. The system is composed of a personal computer(PC586) and TEM-cells, Flex pager testers, an oscilloscope, a camera, and actuators. Visual Basic running on the Windows 95 is used to implement the control software which has the GUI to make an operator convenient. The validity of applying the completed program to practical machines, which are developing in the KITECH, is shown by using the virtual machine.

텔파이 방법에 의한 응급구조사 국가시험 과목개선 제안 (Proposal of a New EMT National Registry Exam using the Delphi Method)

  • Purpose : The National Registry Exam had some problems on validity of EMT evaluation and verification. The aim of this study was to propose a New EMT National Registry Exam. Methods : Conducted using the Delphi Method(lst meeting March 29 in 2008, 2nd meeting May 31 in 2008, 3rd meeting September 20 in 2008, 4th meeting January 16 in 2009) from questionnaire data(391 from Paramedic, 317 from Basic EMT) collected between June 16-30(lst questionnaire) and October 16-30(2nd questionnaire) in 2008 and a public hearing on February 5 in 2009. Results: The subjects proposed at the request of the National Health Personnel Licensing Examination Board were Introduction, Medical+Trauma Emergencies(Paramedic & Basic) for written examination and scenarios+protocols(Paramedic), protocols(Basic) for practical examination. Conclusion : To be able to response patients' problems in various emergencies, this integrated examination was selected and proposed.

Effect of Exam Anxiety, Academic Stress and Alcohol Dependence on Academic Achievement of Nursing Students

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is that the college age is an important transition period from youth to adulthood. Nursing students are unfamiliar with their field of study and need to adapt to a large amount of academic and practical training, so that they can have a better college life. An attempt was made to determine the effect of exam anxiety, academic stress, and alcohol dependence on the academic achievement of nursing students. Research design, data, and methodology: The subjects of the study were 130 students from all grades who agreed to participate in the study after expressing convenience among students attending the Department of Nursing at a university in Gyeongnam. The data collection period was from August 15 to September 15, 2023. It was about a month. The data investigation was conducted through a self-report survey. Results: Results showed that significant variables included exam anxiety, academic stress, alcohol dependency, parent relationships, peer relationships, and major satisfaction, explaining a total variance of 31.9%. Among these, the most influential factor was academic stress (β=-.352). Conclusions: This study identify factors influencing the academic achievement of nursing college students and hopes to contribute to formulating strategies for their growth and competence development.
