The advent of BIM(Building Information Modeling) design process based on the digital media has brought innovation to the production and management of AEC industry. Accordingly the need for educating BIM professionals has been radically increased both in the real world practice and in academia. Some developed countries have already been studying and establishing the optimized curriculum in the academic architecture courses for BIM based education with multi_efforts using the digital media as design processing tools focused on educating architectural professionals with creativity and productivity. However in the domestic education systems, it is hardly found that researches and curriculums deal with the BIM education in the academia. Thus the objective of this paper is to investigate the architectural design pedagogy in the advanced digital media setting in response to the urgent need for BIM education. This study focuses on developing the curriculum based on practical adaptation of BIM programs for architectural education. It aims to provide students with the basic understanding of BIM theory and the practice of BIM tools as an instrument enhancing the creativity for architectural design. Thus this study proposes an BIM curriculum for the students who first encounter the notion and knowledge of BIM during their academic years. And the education result after the application of this curriculum has been analysed through the students questionnaires before and after the lecture.

The construction industry is considered the most hazardous industry globally. Therefore, safety education is crucial for raising the safety awareness of construction workers working at construction sites and creating a safe working environment. However, the current safety education method and tools cannot provide trainees with realistic and practical experiences that might help better safety awareness in practice. A metaverse, a real-time network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection, was created for more interactive communication, collaboration, and coordination between users. Several previous studies have noted that the metaverse has excellent potential for improved safety education performance, but its required functions and practical applications have not been thoroughly researched. In order to fill the research gap, this paper reviewed the potential benefits of a metaverse based on the current research and suggested its application for safety education purposes. This paper scrutinized the metaverse's key functions, particularly its information and knowledge sharing function and reality capture function. Then, the authors created a metaverse prototype based on the two key functions described above. The main contribution of this paper is reviewing the potential benefits of a metaverse for safety education. A realistic and feasible metaverse platform should be developed in future studies, and its impact on safety education should be quantitatively verified.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation between social education and secondary education of seaside and sea village schools for supporting the successors to fishery. Objects of the study were five groups; 321 fishermen, 107 staff members of a Fishery Guidance Center, 1, 001 students, 306 teachers of sea villages, 193 staff members of a Fishery Cooperative Association. The total number of people being object of this study was 1, 876 persons. The questionaire used for this study was made after preliminary counseling with fishermen in sea villages and teachers in seaside schools. The results of this study are as follow ; 1) About the value of Fishery and successors to Fishery There have been more positive responses than negative ones to the question on the value of fishery. The main reason for positive responses lies in the potentiality for development of fishery but the negative responses are because of the heavy work. 56.8% of the respondents expected an increasing number of successor to fishery, but 43.2% of the respondents had a negative foresight on that problem. The negative respondents stated that the fisherman that moved from the sea villages to the urban areas are responsible for the none increasing numbers of successors to fishery. Most of the respondents answered that government support is needed in order to increase the number of successors to fishery. 2) Social education for Fishermen Only 40% of fishermen know the Fishing Village Guidance Center as the main institute for social education. 94.17% of the respondents prefer plural institutes to single ones. 5.9% of the respondents answered with opposit opinions. 40.4% of the respondents answered that technical teachings has not often been practised. The reason why technical teaching does not often come into effect are as follows; lack of technical expertise, insufficient concern of staff members of the Guidance Center or the Cooperation Association. Also fishermen answered that the Fisherman Guidance Center does not often practise technical education. The Fishery Cooperation Association with its social education for fisherman takes the role of education for the economical way and carries out financial assistance. The relationship between the Fishery Cooperative Association and fishermen is presented satisfactory. However, the frequency of education is not satisfactory. Indifferences between staff members of the Fishery Cooperative Association does not carry out fishery education very often. Also loaned money matters were not satisfactory. 3) Secondary education for Fishery This study showed that it is desirable that the practical course of middle schools in islets and seaside villages take education on fishery ; however, a few schools only take the practical course fishery. Most of the fishery high schools want computer education as a new recommendable course. The students of fishery high schools want computer education as a new recommendable course. The students of fishery high schools have problems with scientific terms in the text books for the practical of fishery high schools have problems with scientific terms in the text books for the practical courses. Over 80% of the respondents agreed that the principals of schools in islets and sea side villages should be men having majored in fishery. 4) The connection between social education and secondary education for fishery a. It is desirable that the principal and vice principal of secondary schools in islets and sea side villages are men majored in fishery. b. It is recommendable that fishery courses are taken as practical courses in fishery village schools for it is helpful to relate between the vocation and the district's special character, as well as to built up relation between the middle school education and the fishery high school education. c. The teachers of fishery high schools and the officials of government offices which are related to fishery should work together to realize a program on teaching various kinds of techniques and give other useful informations to fishermen. d. The fourth industrial revolution calls for an integrated talent by improving working-level skills within the big framework of creativity and convergence. Therefore, university education focuses on solving the problem of practical ability education by improving employment ability. Based on this improvement in practical skills, this study is based on the field-based design curriculum of Capstone. Currently, the Capstone Design Course is being implemented at most universities, extending its scope to the fields of engineering, humanities, social studies and arts. However, there is a limit to the core concept of Capstone design education and capacity education developed in line with the foreign educational environment and applied directly to our nation's university education. In terms of overseas cases, the core focus is to develop practical, design, and prototype capabilities by forming a team among all grades and multidisciplinary institutions to support the capital and manpower of the industry. However, the nation's industrial linkage and curriculum have difficulties in carrying out multi-disciplinary education. In this study, students were asked to team up and solve the challenges that the industry needs based on the expertise acquired in the lower grade curriculum by applying majors and 3D printing through the first and second semester courses of the fourth grade to address these limitations. In addition, business skills for the process of creativity and leadership experience in our country through a suitable design capstone class to review the efficiency of education by applying a model. In order to achieve the purpose of Capstone design subject, the goal setting, class model composition, class model application, verification and evaluation, and final class model development procedures were carried out. Through this process, it will be used as a basic material for educating design class capstone design.
In this study, we investigated the perception difference of industrial managers and engineering faculties in the engineering education, and searched for a rational solution to resolve this perception differences. Both engineering faculties and industrial managers place strong emphasis on practical training, but they showed a significant difference in addressing the issues on the graduates of engineering education have. This different perceptions are occurred since the industrial managers prefer "the instant(or ready-made) human resource type", the ones to put to work right away whereas professors prefer the ones with the strong basic knowledge, "the potential human resource type", who may in the long run contribute to the development of the industry. We believe Finland Helsinki Engineering School's co-op course and Pennsylvania State University's Capstone Design Education are the good examples of nurturing "practical" human resource although both programs are conducted in very different imaginative ways.

This paper analyzed 'Software Education' of the Practical Arts unit among the six textbooks developed under the 2015 revised curriculum, and provided implications for selection of textbooks, researching curriculum, and developing the next textbook. As a result of analyzing the prior study, it was found that the inquiry analysis was insufficient in the case of the elementary school 'Software Education' unit. the inquiry analysis was insufficient. On the contrary, in the middle and high school textbook research was sufficient. Therefore, we analyzed the contents of the textbook using the Romey analysis method, judging that our children who will live in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution need an exploratory textbook. As a result of analyzing textbooks, there was no ideal textbook with inquiring tendencies in all analysis factors, and different analysis factors with high inquiring tendencies were found in each textbook. In the entire textbook, the analysis element with the lowest inquiring tendency was the text, and the highest analysis element was the activity. The analysis factors with the greatest deviation in the evaluation index between textbooks are data and evaluation.
