The purpose of this study was to develop railroad geotechnical management system using Web GIS and the DB used in system included railroad informations and digital maps. Digital maps are primarily based on a topographical map(NGIS, 1:5000) and by adding digital maps(KRRI, 1:5000) and their spatial database system to NGI code layer, the management system was developed. The system was connected to geotechnical database already developed. The system was able to separate three parts which were layer choice, geotechnical information view and geotechnical analysis and it was possible to save geotechnical and spatial informations using ZEUS DB simultaneously. ZEUS/X was used for usefulness of GIS operation and by offering GUI, user interface for facility was achieved. Geotechnical and spatial informations in this system will provide basic data for plans, design and construction of railway lines in practical use.

This paper is intended to deduce the planning elements of Eco-village through theory contemplation and preceding researches in order to be used as practical data of resident participating Eco-village by contemplating characteristics demonstrated in planning element utilization methods within the village. Resident participating Eco-village aims for residents who will reside in the relevant village to participate from village plans to construction. Unlike other Eco-village, residents of resident participating Eco-village make decisions autonomically through planning direction, planning elements, discussions and meetings, which are uniquely distinctive from other Eco-villages. It appears, however, that analysis on the planning element utilization methods of resident participating Eco-village is inadequate. There are various methods of village resident participation, and the methods cannot rule out the close relationship with planning elements. Hence, programs for resident participation should be devised at the time of village planning. Resident participating Eco-village should suggest measures and guidelines through finding problems in order to implement sustainable and environment-friendly life that prevent a retrograde step.

The present paper extends the idea of tightened-normal-tightened sampling scheme to group acceptance sampling plans under the time truncated life tests. We consider three famous distributions that are widely used in the area of reliability such as the generalized exponential distribution, the Weibull distribution, and the Birnbaum-Saunders distribution in the proposed sampling plan. The plan parameters are determined such that the producer's risk and the consumer's risk are satisfied at the specified median life. Extensive tables showing plan parameters are provided at various values of the experiment time and the consumer's risk for each of three distributions for the practical use. Some examples are given to illustrate the procedure of the proposed plan.

Since the world entered the age called "Smart Revolution", there has also been a lot of changes in the field of education. In educational environment, there is a growing interest in smart learning based on mobile contents, with the development of Smart Devices and ubiquitous technology. This paper is about a research on what effects smart learning has on leaner side when learners make active use of mobile contents in this age of Smart Revolution. First, we embodied teaching plans for some practical classes in forms of mobile contents using M-bizmaker. After the learning process based on the embodied contents for students, we analyzed the survey results on 4 sections-their use of apps, screen composition, technical support, interactions. We also studied the results of a questionnaire on 4 sections-contents, information offering, feedback systems, learner assessment-to evaluate their satisfaction. The research suggests that learner satisfaction can be improved with smart learning based on mobile contents embodied for leaners.

본 논문에서는 지속적인 대형고장 재발에 따른 근원적 고장예방대책으로 실질적인 위기대응훈련과 변전분야 근무 직원의 역량강화를 위해 변전분야 교육과정을 현장실습 및 사례위주 실무중심토론식 수업으로 개편하는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다. 그리고 실설비와 연계된 모의고장 시뮬레이터 실습교육장을 구축하고, 변전설비 축소형 모듈을 제작하여 주요 변전설비를 실제로 조립하면서 설비에 대한 이해를 고취시키고자 한다. 교육내용과 목표가 중복되는 유사교육과정을 통폐합하여 변전교육의 효율화를 도모한다. 또한, EMTP 전문반과 같은 특화된 전문기술교육과정을 개설을 추진하며, 전문자격증 취득을 위한 과정을 개발하여 교육수요자의 요구사항이 반영되는 교육을 실현하고자 한다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between oral health awareness symptoms and academic stress in some high school girls and to find out existing improvement plans. Methods: This study conducted a self-reported survey on 303 high school girls from four high schools in Jeollabuk-do. Results: Higher academic performance, poor subjective oral health, awareness of dental caries, awareness of jaw joint disease, awareness of discomfort during chewing, and awareness of tooth pain significantly increased overall admission stress. The most influential factors were dental pain symptoms, followed by subjective oral health and dental caries symptoms. Conclusions: Effective measures to help high school girls cope with academic stress, a systematic school oral health policy, and practical health promotion activities are necessary to improve their oral health.

Elementary school students have a little awareness of privacy protection since they do not have many opportunities for systematic education on information and communication ethics. Hence, they are likely to expose their own information to others and sometimes bring on a lot of misuses by using others' information. In this paper, we provide an idea for teaching and learning methods which the elementary school students acquire privacy protection and management methods and raise their practical capabilities. We develop a role play teaching and learning model in connection with various Information and Communication Technology (ICT) activities and establish the instruction plans. Moreover, we apply them to the actual classes at grade five and six of the elementary school students respectively, and finally analyze the results. The proposed teaching and learning method shows that the students participated in a series of learning activities have higher learning effects on awareness of privacy protection than those learned with the conventional methods.

The purpose of this study was to examine what factors affect the construction of preservice white mathematics teachers' racial identities and the relationship between their racial identities and Culturally Relevant Teaching (CRT) practices. We examined five white female preservice teachers who enrolled in an elementary mathematics methods course at a private university in the US. We collected data consisting of lesson plans, semi-structured interviews, and reflection of a taught lesson in the 2018 fall term and examined them using qualitative research methods. We found that preservice teachers' racial identities were affected by their backgrounds, K-12 school experiences, and practicum school environment. We also found a relationship between teachers' sensitivity to racial issues and their endorsement of CRT strategies. The findings also revealed that the relationships were mediated by practicum school contexts. Based on the findings, we provided practical implications for the teacher education programs.

Universities that offer architectural engineering programs in Korea are making efforts to introduce innovation teaching methods to cultivate teamwork, creativity, flexibility of thought and practical skills needed for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. However, there is a lack of specific measures to support them. In this regard, this study investigated a method of application development for building construction courses applied with the innovation teaching methods. It mainly focused on 'improvement directions for existing learning management systems' and 'online learning support plans using the innovation teaching method' as research contents. It is expected that these improvement directions can be applied to the field of education through the development of mobile and web-based applications. In the follow-up research, the development of specific software for field application will be carried out.

Co and Eu impurities in the SSCs are nuclides that dominantly influence the neutron-induced radioactive inventory in metal and concrete radwastes (radioactive wastes) during NPP decommission. The impurity concentrations provided by NUREG/CR-3474 were used for the practical range of Co and Eu impurity concentrations to be applied to the code calculations. Metal structures near the core were evaluated to be ILW (intermediate-level waste) for the whole range of Co impurity concentration, so the boundary line between ILW and LLW (low-level waste) has no change for the whole concentration range provided by NUREG/CR-3474. Also, the boundary line between VLLW (very low-level waste) and CW (clearance waste) in the concrete shield could alter a little depending on the Eu impurity concentration within the range provided by NUREG/CR-3474. From this work, it is found that the concentration of material impurities of SSCs gives no critical impact on determining radwaste levels.
