  • Construction CALS has contributed much to the improvement of construction management. Recently, the ubiquitous technology brings another opportunities for expanding tile business horizon in construction. The government policies to upgrade the information technologies in Korean offer an environment in which practical application of ubiquitous becomes more practical. To maintain the level of competitiveness, construction companies need to pay attention to the chance of ubiquitous technologies. This paper introduces the research movement in the construction industry in an attempt to find out the feasibility of ubiquitous technologies such as RFID, USN, etc. The construction process, which is executed in the natural environment, will benefit from the state-of-are information technologies in terms of improved communication interface.

  • To assure our competition in the stream of international society, nowadays, environmental policy can lead to favorably environmental economy and society. Using a LCA method is authorized as one internationally as one kind of decision factor to accomplish the target of sustainable development and environment policies. It is quick development scientifically and intentionally fair standard of assessment method for pursuing environmental friendly in environment regulation policy. This paper deals with the study trend of practical application of LCA by reviewing of the domestic and abroad.

  • This research studied necessary digital Interior Design education and certification formality for Dept. of Interior Design students' percentage of employment raising and competitive power elevation of industry by the support of 2005 junior college finance support business from the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development. Contents of this research is built from joint research by vender of software, which has the highest distribution and preference rate of digital Interior Design related software in industry, and The Korea Digital Architecture and Interior Association, and Daeduk college. The necessary certification standard and course-ware for employment of graduates were developed. There are descriptions for students' needs on digital Interior Design related practical application ability that can receive authentication, And made out education schedule as well as contents so that execution of authentication and education may be possible.

The Pharmacology of Actoprotectors: Practical Application for Improvement of Mental and Physical Performance

  • Actoprotectors are preparations that enhance body stability against physical loads without increasing oxygen consumption or heat production. Or, in short, actoprotectors are synthetic adaptogens with a significant capacity to improve physical performance. This paper explores the history of actoprotectors' development, their pharmacological properties, mechanism of action, and practical application to the improvement of mental and physical performance. A brief summary of the clinico-pharmacological characteristics of the main representatives of this class (bemitil and bromantane) is provided. Some other synthesized compounds, and even natural ones such as ginseng, also are regarded as potential actoprotectors, and these are treated herein as well. Actoprotectors, owing to their wide-ranging pharmacological activities, high efficiency and safety, can be applied under either normal or extreme conditions.

  • Being aware of the present situation in Latvia and in whole Europe, Mathematics curriculum development is a topical issue. One of the ways how to deal with it is the application of study modules in the study process. The division of Mathematics studies in the Forms and Content Modules allows students to understand better the organization of study process of mathematics, and creates conceptual awareness of Mathematics logics and its practical application helping students to understand causal relationships and to develop cognitive skills. In the article will be present same theoretical aspects and practical experience in Latvia University of Agriculture.

  • Recently, the study for practical construction application no recycled aggregate concrete is actively being proceeded, on the purpose of technical development for recycling on the construction waste concrete occurred at the time of destruction of building construction by the rapid increase of building wastes and exhaustion of natural aggregates. But, the durability of investigation with all sorts of fluidity and engineering property for application recycled aggregate concrete to practical construction must be done at the same time. Especially, because of the real condition for chemical attack of concrete construction by the acid rain, acidification of soil, deepening of air pollution and dirty water etc. being come to the fore a serious problem, the study on the chemical soundness of concrete durability must be accompanied. This study is composed as: I series: Analysis for chemical soundness of aggregates. II series: Analysis for chemical soundness of natural and recycled aggregate concrete against $Na_2$$SO_4$ solution in drying and wet curing condition ($at20~80^{\circ}C$).

선박의 성능 요소 추정을 위한 신경망의 실용화 연구 (Practical Application of Neural Networks for Prediction of Ship's Performance Factors)

  • In the initial ship design stage, performance predictions are generally carried out before and after the hull form design. The former is based on the main dimensions and power information, and the latter is based on the geometry of the hull form and propeller. This paper deals with the practical application of neural networks for the prediction of a ship's performance factors before and after the hull form design. For this, the hull form parameters that affect the performance are studied, and an optimal neural network structure based on the SSMB database is constructed. By comparing the results predicted by neural networks and the model test results, we confirmed that neural networks can be applied to practically evaluate the performance in the initial ship design stage.

  • This paper describes the practical application of Non-Divergent Power Flow (NDPF) solution in power system analysis. NDPF algorithm prevents the power flow solution from diverging due to the arithmetic error in Newton method, and indicates voltage collapse point. In addition to that, NDPF solution provides us with useful information for evaluating voltage profile in such cases.

  • This paper proposes an observer-based method for adaptive nonlinear guidance. Previously, adaptive nonlinear guidance law is proposed considering target maneuver and control loop dynamics. However, several information of this guidance law is not available, and therefore needs to be estimated for more practical application. Accordingly, considering the unavailable information as bounded time-varying uncertainties, an integrated guidance and control model is re-formulated in normal form with respect to available states including target uncertainties and control loop dynamics. Then, a nonlinear observer is designed based on the integrated guidance and control model. Finally, using the estimates for states and uncertainties, an observer-based adaptive guidance law is proposed to guarantee the desired interception performance against maneuvering target. The proposed approach can be effectively used against target maneuver and the limited performance of control loop. The stability analyses and simulations of the proposed observer and guidance law are included to demonstrate the practical application of our scheme.

  • This paper presents the practical pressure control of hydraulic oil-pump system using SR drive for industrial application. In order to get a high performance of pressure dynamics in actual application, a data based PID control scheme is proposed in this paper. The look-up table from pre-measured data produces an approximately proper current reference according to motor speed and oil-pressure. And, PID controller can compensate the pressure error. With the combination of two references, the proposed control scheme can get a fast dynamics and stable operation. Furthermore, the suitable current controller considering the nonlinear characteristics of SRM(Switched Reluctance Motor) and practical test method for data measuring are introduced. The proposed control scheme is verified by the experimental test.
