자동차용 스크류형 과급기의 제어성능에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Control Performance of a Screw Type Super-charger for Automotive Use)

  • Boosting of engine power by using Turbo- or Super-charger is a solution to comply with $CO_2$-regulation in Europe. Turbo-charger is now playing a major role in the field of charging system thank to its technical advantages such as no demand of operation power from engine. A mechanically driven Super-charger, however, is now popular due to quick speed response to change of the driving mode-high engine torque even at low engine speed. Since Super-charger needs operation power from engine, it is difficult to improve its relatively higher fuel consumption than that of Turbo-charger. This negative point is still an obstacle to the wide use of Super-charger. This study aims to develop power control concept to achieve the minimization of operation power when it is not necessary to charge at idling or part load driving condition. A screw type Super-charger was modified in design partially and adapted an internal bypass valve and a bypass tube to control charging pressure at part load. The various control concepts show a possibility to reduce operation power of Super-charger and result in improvement of fuel consumption.

  • This paper presents a hybrid algorithm for solving optimal power flow(OPF) in order to enhance a systems capability to cope with outages, which is based on combined application of evolutionary computation and local search method. The efficient algorithm combining main advantages of two methods is as follows : Firstly, evolutionary computation is used to perform global exploitation among a population. This gives a good initial point of conventional method. Then, local methods are used to perform local exploitation. The hybrid approach often outperforms either method operating alone and reduces the total computation time. The objective function of the security constrained OPF is the minimization of generation fuel costs and real power losses. The resulting optimal operating point has to be feasible after outages such as any single line outage(respect of voltage magnitude, reactive power generation and power flow limits). In OPF considering security, the outages are selected by contingency ranking method(contingency screening model). Robust Transceiver Designs in Multiuser MISO Broadcasting with Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transmission

  • In this paper, we address a new robust optimization problem in a multiuser multiple-input single-output broadcasting system with simultaneous wireless information and power transmission, where a multi-antenna base station (BS) sends energy and information simultaneously to multiple users equipped with a single antenna. Assuming that perfect channel-state information (CSI) for all channels is not available at the BS, the uncertainty of the CSI is modeled by an Euclidean ball-shaped uncertainty set. To optimally design transmit beamforming weights and receive power splitting, an average total transmit power minimization problem is investigated subject to the individual harvested power constraint and the received signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio constraint at each user. Due to the channel uncertainty, the original problem becomes a homogeneous quadratically constrained quadratic problem, which is NP-hard. The original design problem is reformulated to a relaxed semidefinite program, and then two different approaches based on convex programming are proposed, which can be solved efficiently by the interior point algorithm. Numerical results are provided to validate the robustness of the proposed algorithms.

  • 본 논문에서는 추적식 태양광 발전 시스템을 위한 고품위 축전지 충방전 컨트롤러를 설계하였다. 제안하는 컨트롤러는 태양광 발전시스템에 일반적으로 사용하는 납산축전지(연축전지)뿐만 아니라 향후 개발되어 신 재생에너지 발전 시스템에 사용될 다양한 배터리를 충전하는데 적합하도록 미세 전류조절기능을 갖춘 새로운 기능을 갖는 컨트롤러이다. 사용자 편의성을 높이기 위하여 LCD 표시기의 기능을 보강하였으며 CAD를 이용한 최적설계를 통하여 대기 전력의 최소화를 구현하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 dual change-sensing 기법을 사용하여 내부 노드 변환을 최소화시킨 저전력 플립플롭 회로를 제안한다. 제안하는 Dual Change-Sensing Flip-Flop(DCSFF)은 데이터 변환이 존재하지 않는 경우, 기존에 존재하던 플립플롭들 중 동적 전력 소모가 가장 낮다. 65nm CMOS 공정을 사용한 측정 결과에 따르면, conventional Transmission Gate Flip-Flop(TGFF)와 비교하여 data activity 가 0% 와 100% 일때, 각각 98%와 32%의 감소된 전력 소모를 보였다. 또한 Change-Sensing Flip-lop(CSFF)과 비교하여 제안하는 DCSFF 는 30% 의 낮은 전력 소모를 보였다.

Multi-Mode Precoding Scheme Based on Interference Channel in MIMO-Based Cognitive Radio Networks

  • A precoding strategy is one of the representative interference management techniques in cognitive radio (CR) network which is a typical interference-limited environment. The interference minimization approach to precoding is an appropriate scheme to mitigate the interference efficiently while it may cause the capacity loss of the desired channel. The precoding scheme for the maximal capacity of the desired channel improves the capacity of the desired channel while it increases the interference power and finally causes the capacity loss of the interfered users. Therefore, we propose a precoding scheme which satisfies these two conflicting goals and manages the interference signal in such an interference-limited environment. The proposed scheme consists of two steps. First, the precoder nulls out the largest singular value of the interference channel to mitigate the dominant interference signal based on the interference minimization approach. Second, the transmitter calculates the sum capacities per mode and selects a mode to maximize the sum capacity. In the second step, each mode consists of the right singular vectors corresponding to the singular values except the largest singular value eliminated in the first step. Simulation results show that the proposed precoding scheme not only efficiently mitigate the interference signal, but also has the best performance in terms of the sum capacity in a MIMO-based CR network.

  • The Distribution System consist of many tie-line switches and sectionalizing switches, operated a radial type. When an outage occurs in Distribution System, outage areas are isolated by system switches, has to restored as soon as possible. At this time, system operator have to get a information about network topology for service restoration of outage areas. Therefore, the searching result of restorative topology has to fast computation time and reliable result topology for to restore a electric service to outage areas, equal to optimal switching operation problem. So, the problem can be defined as combinatorial optimization problem. The service restoration problem is so important problem which have outage area minimization, outage loss minimization. Many researcher is applying to the service restoration problem with various techniques. In this paper, advanced Dijkstra algorithm is applied to searching a restoration topology, is so efficient to searching a shortest path in graph type network. Additionally, fuzzy rules and operator are applied to overcome a fuzziness of correlation with input data. The present technique has superior results which are fast computation time and searching results than previous researches, demonstrated by example distribution model system which has 3 feeders, 26 buses. For a application capability to real distribution system, additionally demonstrated by real distribution system of KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation) which has 8 feeders and 140 buses.

  • This study intends to reduce the weight of structure without changing the dynamic characteristics. At first, the Vibration analysis by the Substructure Synthesis Method and FFM using the ANSYS are performed for the engine speed converter to confirm the reliability of the analyzing tools. Weight minimization is performed by the Sensitivity Analysis and the Optimum Structural Modification. To decrease the converter weight ideally, the parts with low sensitivity are to be cut mainly, and the changing quantity of the natural frequency by the cut is to be recovered by the weight modification of the parts with high sensitivity. As the unique mathematical solution for the homogeneous problem(i.e. 0 object function problem) does not exist, the converter is redesigned with much thinner initial thickness. The goal of this study is to recover the dynamic characteristics of redesigned structure to those of the original one. To say in the other words, the modified structure has the same dynamic characteristics and the more lighter weight to compare with the original one.

유압 호스의 경로 생성 및 피팅 배열각 설계 (Design for Hydraulic Hose Routing Pathes and Fitting Angles)

  • A hydraulic hose is an important part of the hydraulic system which transmits power using pressurized fluids. It allows relative motion between components at each end of the hose assembly, and it is much easier to route a hose assembly than it is to bend and install a rigid tubing assembly. Unnecessary loads, which drop the hose's pressure capability and shorten service life, depend on a hose-routing. Therefore, the Hydraulic system designers must be aware to consider unnecessary load does not affect the here. For this consideration in an early stage of the design process, CAD system must support the hose assembly routing design function which is to generate routing path and design fitting angle properly. This paper proposes 2 methods. One is to generate curves that are similar to routing paths of the real hose assembly using the energy minimization method and the optimization method. The other is to design fitting angles that are important design elements of a hose assembly using the Parallel Transport Frame. To implement the proposed methods above, commercial CAD software, CATIA has been integrated with our program.
