  • 최근에는 기존의 인버터시스템 전원으로 사용되던 다이오드정류기 또는 위상제어정류기의 단점을 개선하고 고속운전에 따르는 제어전압의 부족을 해결하기 위해 3상 PWM 컨버터의 사용이 증가하고 있는 추세이나 3상 PWM 컨버터의 제어는 입력전원이 평형일 경우를 전제로 하고 있다. 그러나 불평형전원은 실제 산업현장에서 빈번히 일어나는 현상으로 입력전원이 불평형이 되면 역상분전압에 의해 THD가 증가하고 직류링크전압에 저차 고조차성분이 나타나게 되므로 인버터의 성능에 악영향을 준다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 입력전원의 불평형에 따른 AC-DC-AC 컨버터의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 효율적인 제어기법을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다.

  • The method for the current equalization of the rectifier diodes in LLC resonant converter is proposed. The method decreases the current difference between the rectifier diodes using the auxiliary winding of the transformer and asymmetrical pulse width modulation (APWM). The analytical reason of the current unbalance is investigated and the operation principle of the proposed method and APWM control loop are explained. The performance of the proposed method was verified on a 480-W, 400-V/24-V dc/dc converter.

  • 양방향 스위치를 갖는 5-레벨 인버터는 입력 전원단이 직렬 결합된 두 개의 커패시터로 구성된다. 5-레벨 인버터를 다단 결합하게 되면 출력전압의 레벨 수를 증가 시켜 보다 정현파에 가까운 출력전압을 생성할 수 있지만 입력 전원으로 사용되는 직렬 결합 커패시터 단이 증가하게 된다. 직렬 결합된 커패시터 전압이 불평형 상태가 되면 출력전압의 THD에 영향을 주게 되어 양질의 출력전압을 생성하기가 어려워진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 직렬 결합된 입력 커패시터 전압 크기의 불평형 상태에 따른 출력전압 THD 변화를 분석한다.

  • This paper deals with the operation of a flywheel energy storage UPS. The ups has good features such as long life-time, improved efficiency, no environment problems, reduced size and space, and low maintenance cost compared with the conventional UPS using battery. The operating principle of the UPS is analysed in each mode including charging, voltage compensation, discharging, and voltage unbalance compensation. Especially, the tracking characteristic of the disturbed phase of the source voltage after outage is analysed. The usefulness of the operation is proved through simulations.

  • A new three phase three-level Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) Switched Voltage Source (SVS) inverter with zero neutral point potential is proposed. The major advantage is that the peak value of the phase output voltage is twice as high as that of the conventional neutral-point-clamped (NPC) PWM inverter. Furthermore, three-level waveforms of the proposed inverter can be achieved without switch voltage unbalance problem. Since the average neutral point potential of the proposed inverter is zero, the common ground between input stage and output stage is possible. The proposed inverter is verified by experimental results based on a laboratory prototype.

  • 본 논문에서는 3-레벨 NPC(Neutral Point Clamped) 인버터에서 상단 커패시터 전압과 하단 커패시터의 전압의 불균형 시 나타나는 출력 상전류 왜곡에 대한 보상기법에 대하여 제안한다. 스위칭 기법은 SVPWM(Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation)을 사용하였고 상단 커패시터 전압과 하단 커패시터 전압의 불균형이 DC-Link 전압의 0% 15% 35%일 때의 보상 전과 보상 후를 비교 분석 하여 시뮬레이션으로 출력 상전류 보상기법을 검증하였다.

  • There are great needs for checking machine operation status precisely in the iron and steel plants. Rotating machines such as pumps, compressors, and motors are the most important objects in the plant maintenance. In this paper back-propagation neural network is utilized in diagnosing rotating machines. Like the finger print or the voice print of human, the abnormal vibrations due to axis misalignment, shaft bending, rotor unbalance, bolt loosening, and faults in gear and bearing have their own spectra. Like the pattern recognition technique, characteristic. feature vectors are obtained from the power spectra of vibration signals. Then we apply the characteristic feature vectors to a back propagation neural net for the weight training and pattern recognition.

  • A battery is the device that transforms the chemical energy into the direct-current electrical energy directly without a mechanical process. Unit cells are connected in series to obtain the necessary voltage, while being connected in parallel to organize capacity for load current and to decrease the internal resistance for corresponding the sudden shift of the load current. The circular-current, however, could be occurred when the system is driven in parallel. As a result, the new batteries are heated by over-change and discharge, and the over charge current makes to increase the rust of the positive grid and consequently the shortened life of the new batteris would be shown. In this paper, the internal resistance of charge and discharge will be balanced, through inserting the resistance into the system by way of calculation of the changed amount of internal resistance.

  • A design method of a current source using 12-pulse phase-controlled rectifier (PCR) is presented. The critical inductance of the 12-pulse PCR is derived and it is shown that the critical inductance can be reduced using a current source. The control circuit of the 12-pulse PCR with an inner fast dynamic loop is proposed to give the frequency synchronism and to reduce the subharmonics due to the unbalance of the transformer of the power line. This circuit is analyzed and its dynamic loop is optimized. The optimal constant PIMF (proportional, integral and measurable variable feedback, and feedforware) controller is also designed using the time-weighted quadratic performance index. It is shown via experimental results that the proposed design method gives high dynamic and static performance of the current source using the 12-pulse PCR.

  • Driving of the engine makes unbalance forces which induces vibration to the engine mount system. Active vibration control must be performed to reduce the vibration and the propagation of structure-born sound. In this study, the engine system is modeled as 3-dim. vibration system including flexible structures and an effective active noise control method is proposed. Also, appropriate actuator and sensor locations and types are selected. The miniature of the engine vibration system with multi-input multi-output is built and an active vibration control with multiple filtered-X LMS algorithm is applied to it. The applied control method was effective to reduce the transmitted vibration power through the rubber mount It showed the feasibility of the control of the engine vibration systems with flexible structures.
