  • The paper addresses modeling and analysis of a grid-connected photovoltaic generation system (PV system). PSCAD/EMIDC. an industry standard simulation tool for studying the transient behavior of electric power system and apparatus. is used to conduct all aspects of model implementation and to carry out extensive simulation study. An equivalent circuit model of a solar cell has been used for modeling solar array. A PWM voltage source inverter (VSI) and its current control scheme have been implemented. A maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique is employed for drawing the maximum available energy from the PV array. Comprehensive simulation results are presented to examine PV array behaviors and PV system control performance in response to irradiation changes. In addition, dynamic responses of PV array and system to network fault conditions are simulated and analysed

  • The identification of drilling joint dynamics which consists of drilling and structural dynamics and the on-line time series detection of malfunction process is substantial not only for the investigation of the static and dynamic characteristics but also for the analytic realization of diagnostic and control systems in drilling. Therefore, We have discussed on the comparative assessment of two recursive time series modeling algorithms that can represent the drilling operation and detect the abnormal geometric behaviors in precision roundshape machining such as turning, drilling and boring in precision diemaking. For this purpose, simulation and experimental work were performed to show the malfunctional behaviors for drilling operation. For this purpose, a new two recursive approach (Recursive Extended Instrument Variable Method : REIVM, Recursive Least Square Method : RLSM) may be adopted for the on-line system identification and monitoring of a malfunction behavior of drilling process, such as chipping, wear, chatter and hole lobe waviness.

  • Characteristics of electrodelss lamp as a load of the ballast is different compared to normal fluorescent lamp because the lamp includes the magnetics for inductive discharging process. So somewhat different modeling is necessary to make a proper power match between the lamp and ballast. Modeling of an electrodeless lamps, Endura of Osram, is presented in this paper. Simulation with a result of experiment is given for a verification of proposed model.

  • 본 논문에서는 압전 변압기와 CCFL 구동회로의 전기적 등가회로에 의한 PSPICE와 모델을 제시하였다. 램프모델은 최소 제곱근을 이용하여 모델의 파라미터들을 유도하였다 이 모델에 대한 확증을 위해 CCFL 구동회로의 단독모델을 가지고 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과 정확한 모델링이 되었음을 확인하였으며, 압전변압기는 푸시풀 인버터와 부하로써 주로 PSPICE로 모델링한 CCFL을 사용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과 만족스러운 모델링이 이루어졌음을 알 수 있었다.

  • It is a indispensible condition that the simulation and the experiment to improve a efficiency of maglev system. We usually carry out the simulation using the approximate equation, because it is impossible to use a exact modeling such as a practice modeling. This paper proposed a ideal simulation ap to the maglev system modeling by Finite Ele Method. To save the electrical energy, zero p control method is used, and verifying the feasibi FEM dynamic simulation, we make an exper with a TI DSP TMS320F240-based hardware.

  • In this study, we performed a modeling for $K^{+}$ ion-exchanged diffused channel waveguide and waveguide-type optical coupler by WKB(Wentzel-Kramer-Brillouim) dispersion equation, field distribution equation of mode and coupled mode theory, and examined the optical-power-dividing of the optical coupler fabricated by using the modeling condition. The optical-power-dividing was observed at the waveguide-type optical coupler with 3[$\mu\textrm{m}$] line-width, 6[$\mu\textrm{m}$] space between channel waveguides, and 3[mm] interaction length.

  • This paper presents an application of Unified Modeling Language(UML) software technique for developing transmission pricing evaluation package. Also, this paper describes a transmission pricing algorithm applicable to a large-scale power system. The usage-based transmission pricing mechanism is very complex since it requires power flow analysis, fault current analysis, sensitivity evaluation of a transmission line, penalty factors calculation, transmission asset databases, and cost allocation rules, etc. For the efficient and flexible development of the transmission pricing package, a UML. approach is applied, which is composed of a use-case diagram, interaction diagram, class diagram, and package diagram using Rational Rose Unified Process(RUP). The designed transmission pricing package can be efficiently modified and reused as the market environments evolves since it is designed by Object-Oriented Programming(OOP).

  • This paper considers a modeling for the MIMO magnetic bearing system. The rotor is flexible and has a complex shape. To obtain the nominal plant transfer functions, we perform a numerical analysis by using the finite element method(F.E.M.) for the rotor's dynamics, and make a nominal model by reducing the modes from the results. And, we have experimented on the frequency response by a closed-loop identification method, and compared it with the simulation's result on the closed-loop control system.

  • 본 논문에서는 로터 블레이드, 발전기, 로터 블레이드와 발전기에 연결된 고/저속 회전축 및 회전축간의 회전력을 전달하는 기어 시스템 등 다수의 몸체가 서로 상대적인 운동이 가능한 채 연결되어 있는 단일로터 수평축 풍력발전 시스템을 다몸체 시스템으로 간주한 후, 다몸체 역학을 이용한 풍력발전 시스템 모델링 기법을 제안하였다. 이를 기반으로 풍력발전 시스템의 성능 해석을 위한 시뮬레이터를 개발하였다. 그리고 다양한 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안된 풍력발전 시스템 모델링 기법과 시뮬레이터의 타당성을 검증하였다.

굴삭기 작업장치부의 기하학적 동역학 모델링 및 궤적 제어에 관한 연구 (Geometric Modeling and Trajectory Control Design for an Excavator Mechanism)

  • During the last few decades, excavation automation has been investigated to protect the operator from the hazardous working environment and to relieve the cost of the skilled operator. Therefore, a number of modelling and controller design methods of the hydraulic excavator are proposed in many literatures to realize the excavation automation. In this article, a geometric approach far the multi-body system modeling is adopted to develop the excavator mechanism model that contains 4 kinematic loops and 12 links. Considering a simple soil mechanism model with a number of uncertain soil parameters, an adaptive trajectory tracking control strategy based on the developed excavator model is proposed. The improved performance of the designed controller over the simple PID controller is validated via the simulation study.
