  • This study is to analyze the difference of the post-viewing emotion and behavior of the audience at a dance performance by general characteristics of the audience. To attain the goal of the study described above paragraphs, the audience of dance performance located in Seoul and Kyoungki-Do was set as a collected group. Then, using the convenience sampling method, finally drew out and analyzed 280 people in total. statistic analysis techniques were used SPSS 18.0 program. Based on the statistical methods above, we had the result of data analysis as follows; First, among the general characteristics(job, viewing frequency, dance experience, and genre), had significantly effect on the post-viewing emotion(positive emotion, satisfaction) Second, among the general characteristics(job, viewing frequency, dance experience, and genre), all the factors had significantly effect on post-viewing behaviors(researching, respectating intention).

  • This study was conducted to develop and effective strategy for environmental education. At first, the environmental education strategy through personalization of environment was proposed. Then students in a middle school participated the program according to the strategy and its. effect was investigated. The strategy was designed in basis of the role of the limbic system in brain and involved field-oriented experience such as viewing the non-personal environment as the personal environment. Gokneung stream was selected as the site to conduct this environmental education. Students investigated water quality by senses and biological method. The same content was taught for the classroom group and simple outdoor group selected for the comparison by traditional instructional method. The pre- and post-test by the instrument to test environmental attitude, qualitative questionnaire, cognitive test, the pre- and post-interview were conducted to investigate the effect the program. The achievement of the classroom group(personalization group). But the change of the attitude toward environment of personalization group between pre- and post-test was significantly higher than the classroom group. In qualitative questionnaire and pre- and post-interviews, attitude toward environment differed between two group. The behavioral change to discover and to solve environmental problems was demonstrated in case the personalization group, but was unclear in the classroom group. These results indicated the environmental education strategy through personalization of environment was an effective strategy to change the awareness, attitude and behavior toward the environment compared with a traditional teaching strategy.

  • New photopolymers were designed and prepared using the photosensitive polymer binders. Holographic gratings were successfully fabricated in these photopolymer samples by a conventional optical interference method. We also investigated the effect of photocrosslink in the polymer binder on the diffraction behavior of a new photopolymer. The dynamic behavior of the grating formation was monitored by changing exposure intensity in terms of the diffraction efficiency. Particularly, we focused our efforts in observing the variation of diffraction efficiency during a post UV curing process. The surface topographical change of photopolymer layer before and after Vis/UV light exposure was observed by atomic force microscope (AFM). We inscribed the gratings of the glass diffuser on the surface of the photopolymer and investigated their diffusing properties. The diffusers with photopolymer with the main chain polymer binder showed relatively good viewing angle of around ${\pm}30{\circ}$. Two kinds of photopolymer showed similar uniformity of around 47-54%.

Health behaviors and eating habits in people's 20s and 30s according to food content usage level on social media: a cross-sectional study (소셜미디어 음식 콘텐츠 이용수준에 따른 20-30대의 건강행동 및 식습관에 대한 단면 조사연구)

  • Objectives: This study was intended to investigate adults' health behaviors and eating habits according to their levels of social media use. Methods: From May 27 to July 11, 2022, an online survey was conducted of 452 male and female social media users in their 20s and 30s, and their eating habits and health behaviors were compared and analyzed according to their degree of social media use. For each of the three levels of food content use, the frequency of social media content use, and the total score range of average social media viewing time per day were divided into three parts, and a group with a score of less than 2 points was classified as low-use; a group with a score of 2 or more and less than 3 points was classified as middle-use; and a group with a score of 3 points or more was classified as high-use. Results: The use of food content was higher in women than in men (P < 0.001), and higher in those in their 20s than in those in their 30s (P < 0.001). The group with a high level of food content use showed a higher rate of post-use hunger than the group with a low level (P < 0.01). The experience of eating after using food content was also higher in the group with a high level of use than in the group with a low level of use (P < 0.001). The group with a normal or high level of food content use had more negative eating habits than the group with a low level. Conclusions: The study highlighted the need to provide desirable food content to people in their 20s and 30s with negative eating habits and to promote them so that they can use the right healthy nutrition-related content.

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to explore perceived meanings of dating and marriage among well-educated Korean couples who were in optimal marriageable ages. Particularly, an emphasis was placed on finding out where the traditional gender norms and post-modern contexts intersect on the couples' course of dating and marriage. Method: We undertook a qualitative analysis of 8 couples (age: 26-34) dating. Participants were limited to university graduates of upper-middle rank universities in Seoul, South Korea. The rationale for choosing such sample was based on the idea that characteristics of class is inherent in the act of dating and marriage, and that such characteristics lead to different contextual experiences in dating and marriage. This study was based on interviews conducted over a three-month time span. The interviews were first transcribed into research text and then subjects and key categories were drawn from the transcripts for analysis. Results: Participants sought meanings of joy, learning, and self-improvement in dating, and they were free from traditional gender norms in their romantic relationships. They viewed marriage as having a permanent companionship with their partner, becoming independent from their parents, and/or a social norm to be followed. Participants reported mixed perceptions about marriage in such fashion that they described their parents' relationship in terms of a gendered leader-supporter relationship, while viewing their own relationship as being genderless partners. In transition to parenthood, however, they regressed to traditional gender norms dichotomized as women being a homemaker and men being a breadwinner. In sum, participants displayed expectations that were inconsistent with regard to dating and marriage over the study period. That is, during the course of dating and early marriage, they did not hold separated gender norms; however, when transitioning from being a newly married couple to giving their first childbirth, expectations shifted to traditional gender norms and values. Conclusion: This suggests that it is not marriage, but the experience of childbirth and motherhood, which strengthen traditional gendered norms, engendering regeneration of the gender norms in families. The results indicate that there is a need to promote co-parenting behavior among the newly-married couples and to educate gender equality about parent roles or for parents in South Korea so that they can overcome traditional gendered norms in family.
