IPTV 서비스의 지속적 사용에 대한 실증 분석 연구 (An Empirical Study on Consumer's Continued Use of IPTV Service)

  • Recently, IPTV attracts great attention along with the digital convergence of communication and media technologies. This study examined critical factors on the consumer's continued use of the IPTV service. Based on the expectation-confirmation theory and the innovation diffusion theory, we derived nine key factors in the research model-relative advantage, compatibility, ease of use, image, diversity of contents, interactivity, monetary value, social influence, and user satisfaction. Using the partial least square method, we found that content diversity and compatibility have a significant indirect effect on the continued use of the IPTV service via user satisfaction, and user satisfaction and social influence also have a significant direct impact on the IPTV use. These findings not only provide practical insights on the consumer acceptance of new technology-converging services, but also help managers to plan their marketing strategies better.

소방공무원의 직업 적성도 도입에 관한 연구 (Study on the adoption of vocational aptitude test in the fire service)

  • Recently, increases in major disasters such as fires, earthquakes and typhoons have raised public expectations for safety. In addition to this increase in expectations of safety, the government continues to push for more manpower and better treatment for firefighters who are operating in the disaster scene. Despite the improvement of working conditions and increased welfare for firefighters, however, the incidence and turnover of various mental diseases continues to increase. It is reported that many of the diseases such as post-traumatic stress disorder and the turnover of firefighters are due to a mismatch in individual's personality and work environment. In this study, 108 firefighters were evaluated for their vocational aptitude in the new curriculum. Based on the analysis results, new firefighters were proposed to provide employment and education training improvements, and to provide job security suitable for the individual's personality type through the introduction of the vocational aptitude test for firefighters who are working in the fire service. In addition, we would like to use the vocational aptitude test as a material for reducing post-traumatic stress disorder and increasing turnover through long-term tracking and observation, rather than from a one-off perspective.

성인입양인의 생애사 연구 (A Study on the Life History of an Adult Adoptee)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 성인입양인의 생애경험을 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여, 이 연구에서는 한명의 성인입양인을 대상으로 한 심층면접, 관찰, 기록물 등의 방법을 활용하여 자료를 수집하였으며, 생애사 접근을 통해 분석하였다. 자료분석 과정은 우선 연구참여자의 생애 과정을 연대기 형식으로 요약한 뒤, 인생 이야기를 구체적으로 서술하였고, 연구참여자 사례에서 나타난 의미 있는 주제들을 파악하여 기술하고 해석하였다. 또한 앞서 분석된 내용들을 검토하여 입양현장에서 고려해야 할 개입이슈들을 파악하여 논의하였다. 주제분석에서는 '옹이 신세', '나비가 되려는 애벌레', '괜찮아요. 아니, 안괜찮아요', '내가 잘못한 건 아니니까', '사랑, 삶을 이끄는 결정적 요소' 등의 주제들을 발견하여 제시하였으며, 입양 시점, 사후관리, 비밀입양과 공개입양, 뿌리찾기, 성인입양인 대상 개입 등의 개입이슈들을 검토하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 성인입양인을 지원하기 위한 정책 방향과 실천 지침들을 제언하였다.

사회적 영향력과 모바일 서비스의 사용-확산, 그리고 지속적 사용 및 상표 전환의도 간의 관계에 대한 연구 (The Relationships among Social Influence, Use-Diffusion, Continued Usage and Brand Switching Intention of Mobile Services)

  • 본 연구는 혁신적인 모바일 서비스의 사용-확산 관점에서 혁신적인 서비스의 사용량과 사용의 다양성에 사회적 영향력이 어떠한 역할을 하는지 살펴보았다. 본 논문의 연구모형에 포함된 사회적 영향요인은 크게 두 가지인데 이는 네트워크 요인과 상표 동일시이다. 여기서 네트워크 요인은 사회적인 규범과 네트워크 효과를 포괄하는 개념이며, 상표 동일시는 소비자 개인의 자아정체성과 서비스 브랜드와의 일치성을 의미한다. 먼저 네트워크 요인의 경우 모바일 서비스의 사용량에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 지속사용의도에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났는데, 서비스 사용의 다양성에는 별 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 상표 동일시의 경우에는 사용량과 사용의 다양성에 모두 유의한 영향을 미치며 지속사용의도에도 긍정적인 효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 사용한 충성도 지표는 두 가지인데 하나는 모바일 서비스의 지속사용의도이고 또 하나는 상표애호도 즉 상표 전환의도이다. 이 두 가지 변수 중 전자는 서비스 카테고리에 대한 충성도이고 후자는 상표에 대한 충성도인데 서로 다른 의미를 갖는 만큼 연구 결과도 다르게 나왔다. 즉, 모바일 서비스의 사용량과 사용의 다양성은 모두 지속사용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 상표 전환의도에의 경우에는 사용량만이 유의한 영향을 주었고 가설과 반대로 사용량이 높을수록 오히려 상표 전환의도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 특정 혁신 서비스를 사용해 본 얼리어답터 고객들이 다양한 사업자의 서비스를 이용해 보고자 하는 니즈가 있음을 보여 준 것으로 이해할 수 있다.

  • 정보시스템의 효율적 도입 및 운영 등에 관한 법률"이 제정됨에 따라 국내 공공기관에서 정보기술아키텍처 도입이 의무화되었다. 이에 따라 정보기술 아키텍처 수립에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있으며 기관별 특성에 따른 성공적 정보기술 아키텍처 구축 사례에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있다. 본 논문은 국내 공공기관 정보기술아키텍처 도입을 주관하고 있는 정보통신부의 우정사업본부 정보기술아키텍처 수립 과정을 사례 연구를 통해 고찰함으로써 정보기술아키텍처 수립 시 발생한 이슈 및 해결방안, 핵심성공요인 등을 제시한다 현재 많은 부처들이 정보기술아키텍처 수립을 추진하고 있거나 도입을 고려하고 있는 현 시점에서, 정보통신부 우정사업본부의 정보기술아키텍처 추진사례를 통해 정보기술 아키텍처에 관심을 가지고 있는 공공기관들에게 사례를 바탕으로 한 시사점을 제공하였다.

간편결제 서비스 사용자의 사용만족과 지속사용의도에 관한 연구 - ECM과 UTAUT을 중심으로 (A Study on User Satisfaction and Continuance Use Intention of Mobile Easy Payment Service User)

  • As the easy payment service is popularized and the competition in the service market is fierce, research on factors affecting users' continuous use of the easy payment service is becoming increasingly important. However, in the existing studies, the discussion of the continuous intention to use the consumer's simple payment service has not been sufficiently conducted. Existing research remains on the way of listing technology and consumer characteristics. To bridge this research gap, this study aims to integrate and modify ECM and UTAUT to consider factors influencing the continuous use of easy payment services. The user's expectations and the confirmation were considered as important factors to decide. For empirical analysis, a survey was conducted for 236 users who had experience with domestic easy payment service. As a result, it was verified that confirmation, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and habit in regard to easy payment services are important for continuous use intention. Through this study, it is expected that the consumer's technology acceptance mechanism on the continuous use of simple payment will be grasped in more detail to develop academic discussions in the field. Implications from the results as well as limitations of the study are presented.

가상 공동체 사용자의 전자상거래 수용에 대한 연구 (A Study on EC Acceptance of Virtual Community Users)

  • Virtual community(VC) will increasingly be organized as commercial enterprises, with the objective of earning an attractive financial return by providing members with valuable resources and environment. For example, Cyworld.com in Korea uses several community services to enable customers of Cyworld to take control of their own value as potential purchasers of products and services. Although initial adoption is important for online network service success, it does not necessarily result in the desired managerial performance unless the initial usage is continuously related to the continuous usage and purchase. Particularly, the customer who receives relevant online services and is well equipped with online network services, will trust the online service provider and perceive less risk and experience more activities such as continuous usage and purchase. Thus, how to promote continued online service usage or, alternatively, how to prevent discontinuance is a critical issue for VC service providers to consider. By aggregating a wide range of information and online environments for customers and providing trust to its members, the service providers of virtual communities help to reduce the perceived risk of continuous usage and purchase. Drill down, online service managers realize that achieving strong and sustained customers who continuously use online service and purchase on it is crucial. Therefore, the research into this online service continuance will identify the relationship between the initial usage and the continuous usage and purchase. The research of continuous usage or post adoption has recently emerged as an important issue in the IS literature. Individuals' information systems(IS) continuous usage decisions are congruent with consumers' repeat purchase decisions. The TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) paradigm has been strongly confirmed across a wide range from product purchase on EC to online service usage contexts. The analysis of IS usage based on TAM has proven to be successful across almost online service contexts. However, most of previous studies have focused on only an area (i.e., VC or EC). Just little research has tried to analyze the relationship between VC and EC. The effect of some factors on user intention, captured through several theories such as TAM, has been demonstrated. Yet, few studies have explored the salient relationships of VC users' EC acceptance. To fill this gap between VC and EC research, this paper attempts to develop a research model that extends the TAM perspective in view of the additional contributions of trust in the service provider and trust in members on some factors that affect EC and VC adoption. In this extension, we applied the TAM-to-TAM(T2T) model, and analyzed the transfer effect of trust between these two TAMs. The research model was empirically tested on the context of a social network service. The model was to extend TAM with the trust concept for the virtual community environment from the perspective of tasks. By building an extended model of TAM and examining the relationships between trust and the existing variables of TAM, it is aimed to explain a user's continuous intention to use VC and purchase on EC. The unit of analysis in this paper is an individual user of a virtual community. The population of interest is the individual with the experiences in virtual community. The data for this paper was made available via a Web survey of VC users. In total, 281 cases were gathered for about one week, but there were some missing values in the sample and there were some inappropriate cases. Thus, only 248 cases were finally analyzed. We chose the structural equation analysis to test the hypotheses and it is better suited for explaining complex relationships than the other methods. In this test, AMOS was used to test the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Noticeable results have been found in the T2T model regarding the factors affecting the intention to use of virtual community and loyalty. Our result showed that trust transfer plays a key role in forming the two adoption beliefs. Overall, this study preliminarily confirms the salience of trust transfer in online service.

미국 위탁아동의 친권상실선고 이후 입양 결정요인에 관한 생존분석 (Timing and Risk Factors of Adoption for Legally-Free Foster Children after Having Parental Rights Terminated in the U. S.)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 미국에서 친권상실이 선고된 위탁아동의 입양률 추이를 살펴보고, 입양결정에 영향을 미치는 주된 요인을 규명하는 데 있다. 본 연구는 미국 위탁보호와 입양에 관한 패널데이터 FY1999-FY2002를 이용하여 1998년 10월부터 2002년 9월까지 32개 주를 추출하여 총 26,895명을 분석에 활용하였다. 사건사 분석의 Kaplan-Meier 분석과 비례적 위험회귀모형(Cox proportional hazards regression model)을 이용하여 친권상실선고 이후 소요되는 위탁기간에 따른 입양률 추이와 위험 입양배율(hazard ratios for adoption)를 산출하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과로는 친권상실선고 이후 3개월-19개월까지 입양률이 급속히 증가하다가 20개월이 지나면서 오히려 감소추세를 보이고 있었다. 입양여부와 관련한 주요 요인으로서는 백인아동일 경우, 나이가 어릴수록, 선입양가족, 도시소재의 위탁보호일 경우, 양부모 위탁가족, 또는 인종적으로 동일한 위탁부모에 의해 위탁보호 될 경우 입양가능성이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 또한, 아동이 지체나 장애가 있을 경우, 신체학대나 성학대를 경험한 경우, 친부모의 양육능력부족으로 위탁보호 된 경우 상대적으로 낮은 입양가능성을 보이고 있다. 본 연구결과 친권상실 이전에 발생한 위탁보호 원인이 친권상실 이후에도 입양에 영향을 미치고 있으며, 입양촉진방안으로 친권상실선고 이후 제공된 위탁서비스 활용과 적극적 지원방안 모색의 필요성이 제기되었다. 끝으로 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 한국사회에서 요보호아동의 친권개입의 정책적 방향과 항구적 보호마련을 위한 함의와 제언을 개괄적으로 제시하였다.

The Effects of Censorship and Organisational Support on the Use of Social Media for Public Organizations in Mongolia

  • Purpose - This article empirically investigated the effects of the socio-political factor of censorship preconditioning, and organizational support, mediating performance expectancy of public sector officials' behavioural intention to utilise social media in a post-communist country, Mongolia. Design/methodology/approach - This study collected 212 survey data from public sector organisations in Mongolia. Using the Partial Least Squire (PLS) method, this study analyzed the proposal model grounded on the UTAUT model. Findings - There are still communist footprints in the form of censorship, which remained as a negative precondition factor, and this has an indirect negative influence, and organisational support mediates to enhance performance expectancy. Effort expectancy and social influence factors have direct positive influence on the use of social media systems in the government domain of Mongolia Research implications or Originality - This study empirically investigated the model of public employees' intention to examine the post-communist countries' cultural, social, economic, and political systems, government organisational environment of the former communist sphere. The cultural factors, censorship and organisational support, to the existing IT adoption UTAUT model were also identified to test the situation of a post-communist country, Mongolia. This study contributes to the new theoretical involvement with social media by testing a new social media-based third-party intercommunication channel, including intent to use in the public service for post-communist countries. This study practically provides the guidelines to promote social media usage for public sector in the post-communist situation.

Social Network Service 수용 후 사용회피에 관한 연구: 페이스북 사용자를 중심으로 (A Study on the Avoidance Intention of Social Network Service in Post Adoption Context: Focusing on the Facebook User)

  • Why people reduce or stop using social network services(SNS), which are regarded as a mean of relationship and communication, unlike the early trend? To explain the phenomenon, this study tries to predict psychological decision making process of users from perspectives of cognitive dissonance theory. From this perspective, this study attempted an integrative approach that reflected 'User's literacy' indicating the ability of individuals to use SNS, and 'negative mass media influence' such as media reports on side effects or the bad experiences of acquaintances, along with the 3 factors used in the SNS Prior research. This study conducted an empirical analysis by surveying 256 facebook users, and the major findings are as follows:- First, Social-overload, complexity, uncertainty and negative media influence are significantly affect dissonance on the use of SNS. Second, Dissonance on the use of SNS significantly affects the behavior that possibly reduces and limits the use of SNS. In other words, the users who have experienced psychological dissonance respond passively by avoiding the use of SNS to resolve the dissonance. Third, the moderating effect of User's literacy wasn't a significant. This study presents a clue to understand psychological decision making process of use of SNS and a guideline for establishing practical strategies. In addition, it is important to note that this study contributes to expansion of theoretical discussion about usage.
