Objectives : This study was to investigate the association of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI), Insomnia Questionaire(IQ), Beck Depression Inventory(BDI) and Diagnos system of oriental medicine(DSOM) in the Insomnia Patients. Methods : For this study, we carried out PSQI, IQ, BDI and DSOM of 37 patients with insomnia who have come to Donguei oriental hospital of Donguei university from November 2008 to May 2009. And Using cross tabulation analysis, verified the association of PSQI, IQ, BDI and DSOM. Results : 1. The most Frequent Pathogenic Factor is blood-deficiency(血虛) in total patients. 2. The score of BDI has positive correlation with sc10 of deficiency of qi(氣虛), damp(濕), kdney(腎) in total patients. 3. The score of PSQI has positive correlation with zp of liver(肝) in total patients. 4. The score of PSQI has positive correlation with sc10 and zp of insufficiency of Yin(陰虛), and the score of BDI has positive correlation with sc10 of blood stasis(血瘀) and zp of liver(肝) in female patients. 5. The score of PSQI has positive correlation with sc10 of deficiency of qi(氣虛) and zp of heart(心), and the score of IQ has positive correlation with sc10 of liver(肝) in male patients. 6. The duration from onset in the group of 22-59years are longer than the group of 60-80 years and the duration of using hypnotics have positive correlation with total sleep time in 22-59years group. 7. The score of PSQI has positive correlation with zp of liver(肝) in 22-59years group. 8. The score of PSQI has positive correlation with the score of BDI in 60-80years group. 9. The score of BDI has positive correlation with sc10 of deficiency of qi(氣虛) and zp of blood-deficiency(血虛), and the score of IQ has positive correlation with zp of coldness(寒) in 60-80years group. 10. The score of IQ has positive correlation with sc10 and zp of dryness(燥) in below 6 Months Group. 11. The score of PSQI has positive correlation with the score of BDI in over 6 Months Group. 12. The score of PSQI has positive correlation with zp of liver(肝) in over 6 Months Group. 13. The score of IQ has positive correlation with sc10 of dryness(燥) in BDI 2nd Grade Group. 14. The score of BDI has positive correlation with sc10 of kidney(腎) and the age has positive correlation with zp of heart(心) in BDI 3rd Grade Group. 15. The age has positive correlation with sc10 of damp(濕) in BDI 4th Grade Group. Conclusions : This study provides insights into the complicated associations of the pattern of insomnia with depression and Diagnos system of oriental medicine. And especially this study showed apparent correlation between insomnia and depression in 60-80years group and over 6 months group.

The main concern of this paper is to study the dynamics of an n-dimensional ratio-dependent predator-prey system with diffusion. We study the dissipativeness, persistence of the system and it is shown that the unique positive constant steady state is globally asymptotically stable under some assumptions.

In this paper, we investigate a discrete-time non-autonomous predator-prey system with the Beddington-DeAngelis functional response. By using the coincidence degree and the related continuation theorem as well as some priori estimates, easily verifiable sufficient criteria are established for the existence of positive periodic solutions.

The static and dynamic phenomena of a model for the metabolic control system with positive feedback are discussed with the static and dynamic renormalization group theory. Then, the explicit results for the static and dynamic exponents are obtained up to the second order of ${\varepsilon}$-expansion, ${\varepsilon}$ being 4-d, where d is the space dimensionality of the system.

The transition from one stable steady state branch to another stable steady state branch in a simple metabolic system with positive feedback is discussed with the aid of the bimodal Gaussian probability distribution method. Fluctuations lead to transitions from one stable steady state branch to the other, so that the bimodal Gaussian evolves to a new distribution. We also obtain the fractional occupancies in the two stable steady states in terms of a parameter characterizing conditions of the system.

Existence results for multiple positive solutions of two classes of boundary value problems for bilateral difference systems are established by using a fixed point theorem under convenient assumptions. It is the purpose of this paper to show that the approach to get positive solutions of boundary value problems of finite difference equations by using multi-fixed-point theorems can be extended to treat the bilateral difference systems with one-dimensional Laplacians. As an application, the sufficient conditions are established for finding multiple positive homoclinic solutions of a bilateral difference system. The methods used in this paper may be useful for numerical simulation. An example is presented to illustrate the main theorems. Further studies are proposed at the end of the paper.

This study examined the effects of emotion inducing contexts on types of infants smiling. Facial expressions of forty-five 11-to 15-month-old infants were videotaped in an experimental lab with positive and negative emotional contests. Infants' smiling was identified as the Duchenne smile or non-Duchenne smile based on FACS(Facial Action Coding System, Ekman & Friesen, 1978). Duration of smiling types was analyzed. Overall, infants showed more smiling in the positive than in the negative emotional context. Occurrence of Duchenne smiling was more likely in the positive than in the negative context and in the peek-a-boo than in the melody toy condition within the same positive context. Non-Duchenne smiling did not differ by context.

The purpose of this study was to investigate that positive and negative word-of-mouth informations getting hairshop customers have influence on visiting intention of potential consumers. Data were collected from 354 university or college women. The results showed as follows; First, positive word-of-mouth informations that consumers have experienced in using hairshop were employee altitude/technique, consideration in customer's situation, kindness, saving of time/additional service, facilities, rational price, gift service/benefit in conditions of location. Second, negative word-of-mouth informations that consumers have experienced in using hairshop were inconsistent service, service focus on non-customers, irrational price/technique insufficiency/ inadequate compensational system, irrelevance of face-to-face management. Third, in getting positive word-of-mouth informations, consideration in customer's situation, rational price and gift service/benefit in conditions of location, consumers had visiting intention, and in getting negative informations, irrational price/technique insufficiency/inadequate compensational system, consumers had no visiting intention.

In this paper, we study a discrete Leslie-Gower one-predator two-prey model. By using the method of coincidence degree and some techniques, we obtain the existence of at least one positive periodic solution of the system. By linalization of the model at positive periodic solution and construction of Lyapunov function, sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the global stability of the positive periodic solution. Numerical simulations are carried out to explain the analytical findings.
