퍼지 평가의 통합특성에 관하여 (On the Fuzzy Approach to Integrated Evaluation of Complex Systems)

  • This paper deals with the evaluation problem of complex systems by introducing a fuzzy approach. The authors are functionally supposing a hierarchical structure model of a complex system and give light on the following problems. First for the purpose of clarifying the characteristics of measures the property and differences between two method such as linear and fuzzy viewpoint are discussed through two level-down evaluation process. Second the integrated evaluation process which keeps reversibility between hierarchical levels is discussed and obtained some necessary conditions for reversibility of fuzzy evaluation. From these results it is expected that the fuzzy approach overcomes partly the limitation of reductionism at the hierarchical evaluation of complex systems.

  • A linear motor based transfer vehicle is significantly focused as transportation systems in marine terminals for the future. We propose a control method for the systems to hence mass reduction and propulsion effects at a starting point by using a lift-force mechanism. This method is newly based on a combined levitation-and-propulsion power by a lift and thrust force of a permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM), which is carried out by a decoupled control. We exam that our proposed control largely compensates the vehicle weight, reduces friction effect of the system, and increases its velocity. Consequently, this result contributes numerous productivity and economical efficiency for the port systems.

  • This paper's purpose obtain information of three dimension using a camera. This system embody to know the height of object using triangle method between reference point of circumstance and object. As I use java program, it is possible to make system regardless of operating system, set up the system. By using comportable USB port camera, we used to everywhere without the capture board. We can use the internet by using the java's JMF and applet everywhere, we regard the camera as fixed.

An Empirical Study on Jitter between Two Servers Port Connections

  • The purpose of this paper is to measure jitter between two server systems. Given 3 empirical models as user and port parallel server types under some conditions of 100 Mbps and optimal CPU temperature suggested by Lee and Kim(2005), our results are shown; jitter was usually measured above 3000 ms in most empirical cases, jumping points were observed around 250 processing traffics, and port parallel model was optimal in our cases.

Situations and its Prospect of Single Window System for Customs One-Stop Service in Japan

  • The purpose of the paper is to analyze situations and its prospect of Single Window System for custom's one-stop service in Japan and to suggest effective application was to improve of in Korea's Customs systems. In response to the growing demand for lower trading costs and shorter and more predictable lead times with the advancement of the international trade supply chain, the Single Window System for import/export and port-related procedures was launched on 23 July 2003 in Japan. The concept of the Single Window System is to establish a comprehensive computer interface system that enables users to complete all import/export and port-related procedures required under different laws and regulations in a single input and single transmission. To realize the concept, the data elements and submission times of the various systems were harmonized, and manual procedures, such as quarantine and immigration, were computerized. Then, all the necessary systems, such as NACCS, Port EDI System, and Crew Landing Permit Support System, were interconnected as a Single Window System. Close cooperation among other governmental organizations and the private sector was a key factor in the successful development and smooth utilization of the System so that it fully met all parties' needs. It is anticipated that operating costs will be greatly reduced and trade facilitation will be enhanced as a result of the simplification of procedures. Korea Customs advocates the Single Window System as a best practice at ASEAN and WCO to contribute to the development of regional and international capacity building.

  • As port competitiveness is becoming more important in the global market environment RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Is also becoming a crucial enabler In implement efficient visible, secure and productive ports. However there Is a lack of practical validated RFID technology acceptance cases in the port logistics industry until now, even though various related projects have been undertaken. In this study, we applied 13.56MHz passive RFID readers, tags, and their applications into existing bar-code based gate systems to improve the port logistics process, and we analyzed results of a pilot test in economic and non-economic perspectives. The main purpose of this study is to develop the RFID based automatic gate passing system in container terminals, and is to validate its economic and non-economic feasibility. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, first, we examined previous researches on RFID technology acceptance in the port logistics industry, second, we Identified and analyzed the business process of existing gate systems in container terminals, third, we build RFID gate systems with 13.56Mhz tags, readers, and its middle-ware, finally we tested the system and its performance. The results were successful and showed the feasibility of the system in real container terminal gates. Economic and non-economic contribution was confirmed. Although the system has technological limitations with short range passive type, we clearly identified its potential capability and its economic validity in the field, which are the implications of this study.

  • Port, one of nation's key infrastructures, is a point of road and sea transports meeting. As a key base of inter-modal transportation systems, the port is of ever increasing importance for realizing nation's vision of making Korea as an economic and logistics hub in the Northeast Asia. At present, Korean ports handle 99.7% of gross trade volumes in Korea, which requires considerable attention on its safety issues. However, due to the critical characteristics of the port and insufficient attention paid to it, the port industry meets more disasters compared to other industries. Therefore, this paper tries to analyze the disasters happened at the port to have better understanding on its reasons, further to use as learned lessons to prevent from potential disasters that may arise at the port.

  • In this paper, web based monitoring systems are implemented using embedded systems. A parallel port connecting parallel I/O is controlled via HTTP protocol and web browser program. HTTP protocol is ported into Linux. A micro web server program and port control program installed on-board memory using CGI to be accessed by web browser. Experimental results of proposed web based monitoring systems can be used in automation systems and remote distributed control systems via internet using web browser.

필리핀 항만정책의 경쟁력 제고방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Competitiveness Improvement of Port Policy in the Philippines)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 필리핀의 항만정책 수립의 경쟁력 제고를 위한 정책적 시사점을 도출하기 위한 것이다. 필리핀은 개발도상국으로서 연 평균 5-6%의 꾸준한 경제성장을 유지하고 있으며, 이에 따라 대외무역거래량과 국내 인적 물적 유통량도 급격하게 증가하고 있는 추세에 있다. 그러나 이러한 물동량의 증가에도 불구하고 항만 등 인프라 시설은 매우 열악한 실정에 있으므로 이에 대한 보다 체계적인 개발계획과 추진실행이 시급한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 AHP 기법을 적용하여 설문을 통한 항만경쟁력을 분석하고, 선행 문헌연구와 현지 각 관련 기관들로부터 획득된 내부자료 및 관계자들의 인터뷰를 통해 수집된 자료를 분석하여 항만발전 저해요인을 도출하였다. 그 결과 항만발전에 필요한 정책적 시사점으로서 보다 강화된 중앙 집중적 관리방식 도입, 항만의 투자와 운영에 관한 분리방안채택, 전국적으로 산재한 대소항만들의 목적에 따른 등급화, 효율적인 항비부과에 따른 수입원 확보 및 시설확충을 위한 선진 금융기법 및 투자유치 등의 정책이 필요하다는 결론과 시사점을 제시할 수 있었다.
