As port functions change to act as an economic catalyst and take on a central position in industries engaged in international trade, port hinterland has become a significant component in international shipping. The success of port hinterland as a strategic base of logistic activities critically depends on location selection factor for international distribution center that links elements of global supply chain management. By examining multi-measurement items empirically, this paper analyzed location selection factor for international logistics distribution center in port hinterland, and evaluated Busan new port hinterland from the user's perspective. Employing exploratory factor analysis, the results revealed that the model structured around five factors incorporating geo-location and accessibility, availability, political supports, cost factors, and quality of business environment is valid and reliable in the context of the location selection factors for logistics distribution center in the context of port hinterland operations. The evaluation of Busan new port hinterland provides useful insights for strategic improvement to accommodate the users' expectation. Further, the model offers both a descriptive and diagnostic strategic management tool for port hinterland development and operations, to guide future improvement.

항만선택 결정요인에 관한 선행연구를 정리해보면 매우 다양한 연구에서 결정요인들이 도출되었으며, 다수의 연구에서 주요요인들이 중복적으로 활용되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 그러나 연구자별로 조사대상의 입장과 선호도에 따라 다소 연구결과가 다르게 나타나고 있다. 따라서 화주들의 광양항 선택 결정요인을 도출하기 위해서는 문헌조사와 함께 적합한 실증적 연구와 분석이 요구되어 진다. 본 연구에서는 화주가 항만을 선택할 때 미치는 결정요인들을 선행연구를 통해 도출한 후, 도출된 결정요인들이 광양항을 이용하고 있는 화주들에게 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 광양항 이용화주들의 지속적인 광양항 이용 여부를 종속변수로 설정하였고, 선행연구에서 도출된 항만선택 결정요인인 항만서비스, 항만시설, 항만입지, 항만비용 등을 독립변수로 설정하였다. 독립변수의 주요 요인을 살펴보면, 항만서비스 요인으로는 하역능력, 선박기항 빈도, 항만체선, CFS의 처리능력, 통관서비스, 항만정보 서비스 등을 변수로 설정하였다. 또한, 항만시설 요인으로는 항만의 규모, 적절한 하역장비의 보유, 화물의 손상 및 멸실 빈도 등을 변수로 설정하였으며, 항만입지 요인으로는 항만과의 접근성, 항만의 인지도 등을 설정하였다. 마지막으로 항만비용 요인으로는 내륙운송비, 항만시설사용료, 하역료, 무료장치기간, 인센티브 등을 변수로 설정하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과 광양항 이용 화주들은 항만서비스, 항만시설, 항만입지, 항만비용 요인에서 모두 광양항 선택에 영향을 미치고 있으며, 항만비용, 항만입지, 항만서비스, 항만시설 등의 순으로 중요도가 나타나고 있다. 이는 화주들이 항만시설보다는 항만비용과 항만의 입지, 항만서비스를 항만선택 시 주요한 고려요인으로 작용하고 있는 것으로 판단된다.

Relative importance of maritime transport that takes charge of main current of freight in country' economy is very large. Especially, port and facility carry out important role which treats freight of import and export smoothly and improves international trade as turning point, to achieve key role on connection and association between sea and land. For such reason, enlargement of port facilities or development of port needs to grasp exactly the utilization of port, attributes and selective factors of shipper. On the other hand, the amounts of physical distribution on Mokpo port located in Korean west coast are increasing, with fast economic growth of East Asian including China. This study uses discrete choice model that is measuring to analyze attribute and characteristic of Mokpo port, and analyzes port selection by decision factors of shipper. This paper composed a questionnaire using the result of preceding research, to decide port selection factor among competitive ports. Through factor analysis on a basis of the questionnaire' result, five principal components were extracted. These are resorted out by Logit model, to grasp competitive elements of port. This research fin present direction which raises competitive power of ports in west coast of Korea, especially on alternative and concentration of middle-class port as Mokpo may be useful.

국내 물류창고는 기업에 있어 재고관리 및 상품배송을 위한 전략적인 요충지로써 발전해 왔다. 물류창고는 역할에 따라 보관형 물류창고와 택배와 같은 통과형 물류창고, 이를 복합한 물류창고가 존재한다. 현재 국내 물류창고의 입지를 고려할 때 임대료 또는 지가와 같은 가격적인 요소와 물류적 기능을 동시에 고려하고 있다. 가격적인 요소의 경우 평가요소가 명확하나 물류적 기능에 대한 구체적인 평가요소는 현재 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 국내의 보관형 물류창고 입지선택에 있어 물류적 기능을 고려한 입지요소들의 우선순위를 전문가 설문조사를 통해 추출하려 한다.

According to the Marine Traffic Safety Law, revised in 2009, Marine Traffic Safety Audit is introduced to secure the safe navigation, to prevent the marine accident and to maximize the efficiency of the port. In this audit system, marine traffic safety assessment is the most important scheme because the primary purpose of the audit system is to identify potential risk elements affecting safe navigation. Even though the reliability of audit result depends on the selection of assessment models, there are no independent assessment models for Korean coastal waters and most of models used in Korea currently are developed by foreign countries. Therefore, the development of the independent assessment model for Korean coastal water is required. This study, prior to the development of independent assessment model, aims to provide a basic data by comparing two foreign assessment models in Ulsan port area with marine accident statistics data.

Pressure ripple of hydraulic vane pump results form flow ripple due to pump geometry and reverse flow through the discharge port due to compressibility of fluid and result in vibration and noise of connected hydraulic elements. In a ba;anced type vane pump, cam ring curve is important factor to influence the flow ripple. Therefore, to reduce the now ripple, it has been required that optimal selection of seal region by proper design of cam ring and each port position, and notches for preventing the excessive reverse flow. This paper has been performed analytical study of compression characteristics with major design parameter in side plate and cam ring, and examined into the role of notch and radius reduction ratio.

항만의 역할이 변화하고 그 기능이 다양화되면서 항만배후부지의 역할과 기능은 부가가치 창출뿐만 아니라 효율적인 SCM구축을 위한 국제물류의 거점으로서 그 기능과 역할이 확대되었다. 부가가치 물류활동에 대한 항만배후단지 입주 및 항만배후부지 내 부가가치물류 활동을 통한 이익 창출형 사업모델(Biz-model) 개발에 대한 기업의 관심이 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 항만배후단지 내 국제물류센터의 입지경쟁력 평가요인을 도출하였다. 또한 요인분석 및 AHP 방법론 등 기존 연구들의 문제점을 보완하기 위해 IPA 기법을 적용하여 각 속성의 중요도와 만족도를 동시에 비교하고 분석한다. 분석 결과 19개의 평가요인은 지원정책, 성장잠재력, 시설활용, 시장접근성, 연결성 등을 포함하는 5개의 상부요인으로 분류되었다. IPA 기법을 통한 분석 결과 사분면에 속해있는 세부내용들은 항만과 항만의 배후단지를 연결하는 연결성, 시장접근성, 지원정책 등이 입주결정에 중대한 요인으로 작용하였으며, 정책적인 지원들은 우선 시정 노력이 필요하다고 밝혀졌다. 추가적으로, 연구결과는 사분면 내 세부 내용들에서 중요도는 높지만 만족도가 낮은 영역인 복합운송체계 구축 수준 및 효율성, 그리고 지원정책을 구성하는 인센티브 프로그램, 홍보 및 마케팅 지원, 입주 시 금융지원정책, 자유무역 시스템 및 관련 법규 등에 대한 집중적인 우선 시정 노력이 필요하다는 점을 시사한다.

물류환경의 급격한 변화와 함께 항만을 둘러싼 환경도 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 이와 같은 항만환경의 급격한 변화는 동북아지역을 중심으로 한 전 세계 컨테이너 물동량의 급속한 증가, 정기선사의 경영전략 변화, 부두운영업의 글로벌화, 물류중심화 선점을 위한 경쟁 격화, 선박기술의 혁신 등으로 나타나고 있다. 항만의 운영 관리 책임자들은 이러한 변화를 예측하고 이에 신속히 대응하여 항만경쟁력을 확보하기 위하여 노력을 경주하고 있다. 국내외를 연결하는 항만 간 경쟁은 국제적인 것이 일반적이어서 우리나라 항만뿐만 아니라 이웃나라 항만과의 경쟁에서도 우위를 확보해야만 한다. 특히 우리나라 항만은 전 세계적으로 항만 간 경쟁이 가장 치열한 동북아 지역에 위치하고 있어 더욱 강력한 경쟁력을 확보하지 못한다면 항만 간 경쟁에서 뒤처져 국제무대에서 사라질 수밖에 없다. 이에 본 논문에서는 일반적인 항만을 중심으로 이루어진 항만선택결정요인에 대한 기존 연구들을 살펴보고 이를 재고찰하여 중소형 항만에 적용시킬 수 있는 요인을 도출하여 향후 이들 항만의 경쟁력 확보 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
