  • In this paper, we set up a vista point overlooking the focus of new research center placed on the existing research literature and point to the selection of books, reports or studies actually suggested focusing on topics such as for landscape simulation evaluation. To re-organize and classify a number of items were presented to spill the evaluation items of this view point selection via the SPSS Statistics. Evaluation items 16 through a professional survey to establish a concrete and systematic plan with selected research results leaked technical characteristics of the view that detailed questions to the factors of technical characteristics and population-specific comparisons through factor analysis in the first, landscapes simulation The views were set out. Second, if you set 16 classified by type of view that considering a similar nature or characteristics depending on the properties of the view that publicity, overlooking castle, the castle was divided into three types of places. Third, the views point for the public good are three items, vista point at which the gender perspective has six items that gender point of view places is set to seven items, was set up to view the most appropriate place to point gender. These results provide a framework for analysis and future system reliability and landscape simulation evaluation study is expected to be used as reference material.

Therefore it needs to grasp the present state of water leisure activities and analyze the actual condition of consciousness. For the analysis. the question survey was conducted on water leisurers in the focus with regulation of the revised so that the degree of relevance and correlation between mutual variables were analyzed by Frequency and Crosstabs. From this study we found that more than $60\%$ of water leisurers thought registration, safety instruction, insurance, and safety inspection necessary and there was a characteristic common inclination to all for necessity to impose legal controls on water leisure activities as the level of dissatisfaction for water leisure apparatus and cognition for necessity of insurance was high.

  • This study was conducted to measure and evaluate the food and nutrient intakes of the people living near the nuclear plant and to investigate the relationship between the household income level and the food and nutrient intake patterns. A total of 552 cases (263 males and 289 females) were surveyed during the period from April 1 to December 21 of 2005. Dietary intake was measured by means of the 24-hour recall method. The data were analyzed using SPSS Windows (ver. 14.0). The household income level of the subjects was classified into two groups : Low income group (LIG; $\leq$2,000,000 won) and high income group (HIG; > 2,000,000). The subjects at large had less energy and nutrient intakes than did the population in town and village who participated in the 2005 National Health and Nutrition Survey. The intake of calcium, zinc, vitamin A, riboflavin, vitamin $B_6$, vitamin C, and folic acid was less than the Estimated Average Requirement in case of $50{\sim}95%$ of the subjects. The LIG consumed less beans, vegetables, fruits, meats, and beverages than did the HIG in male, while the LIG consumed less eggs and beverages than did the HIG in female. The LIG consumed less nutrients than did the HIG in male, except for carbohydrate, while the LIG consumed less nutrients including zinc, vitamin A, riboflavin, vitamin B6, vitamin C, folic acid than did the HIG in female. In addition, the LIG had higher percentage energy consumption from carbohydrate. These results suggest that higher food and nutrient intake is associated with higher income.

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of water fluoridation program(WFP) on dental caries prevention in Ulsan, Korea. Methods: The data of control group were extracted from 2012 Korean National Oral Health Survey(KNOHS). Since 1998, WFP was implemented in Ulsan. The subjects were 670 subjects including 10 to 12-years old children in 2009. The control subjects were 4,871 people in non-fluoridated metropolitan cities comparable to Ulsan. The control subjects were selected from 2012 KNOHS. A self-reported questionnaire was completed by the variables including oral health behaviors on daily frequency of toothbrushing, eating snacks and beverages. Oral health examination was carried out by two dentists who received a training in KNOHS with an inter-examiner-agreement. Caries preventive fraction was calculated by the difference of DMFT and DMFS index. The preventive effects of the WFP program were focused on gender, number of fissure sealed teeth, daily frequency of toothbrushing, eating snacks and beverages. Data were analyzed using SPSS $19.0^{(R)}$(SPSS Inc., Chicago, IL, USA) statistical package. Results: DMFT indices of 12-year-old subjects(n=670) in WFP and control population(n=4,871) were 2.11 and 1.23, respectively with an estimated prevention effect of 41.7%. Conclusions: WFP in Ulsan reduced the prevalence of dental caries. WFP should be recommended for the public oral health program in other metropolitan cities.

  • Abstract The objective of this study is to investigate and analyze understanding of residents living in landslide disaster impact areas to landslide mitigation and recovery projects with respect to develop socio-economic damage level standards of landslide disasters. South Korea is one of the representative mountain-side urbanized countries that cities have been developed through mountain-side urbanization due to high population density because mountain areas occupy 64 percent of the total land proportion. South Korea were recently suffered from the massive landslide disasters with significant causality that overcomes the annual drowned causality of flood disasters. Consequently, the total death toll of South Korea landslide disasters including unexpected Mt. Woo-Myun disaster and Chuncheon disaster in 2011 became forty-three persons. The hugh amount of disaster management budget was spent in landslide mitigation and recovery projects of the affected areas. This research performed facility field research and resident surveys for landslide damage conditions and damage factors for Mt. Woo-Myun, Chuncheon, Pusan, and Dongdoochon that were major effect cities of 2011 landslide disasters.

The population was electricity electronic communication technical teachers, 750 teachers were sampled for this study. A survey questionnaire consisted of teaching competencies scale including 3 domains based on Performance-Based Teacher Education Modules. The professional competencies scale consisted of 5-point Likert-type 30 items for them to rate the importance and also to indicate the teaching competency level. A questionnaire was mailed to the sample and 443 returned questionnaires were analyzed after data cleaning. The educational needs of teachers were calculated by using the Borich's needs assessment formula. The findings of this study were as follows. 1) electricity electronic communication technical teachers perceived all the thirty competencies as highly important ones. 2) They perceived that their current teaching competency level was just beyond the ordinary level but was lower than the good level. 3) The highest needs were 'determining learning level & interests of students', 'applying problem solving techniques', 'reconstructing lesson contents', 'establishing lesson objectives'. 4) They have a different level of educational needs on the competencies according to their gender, terminal education level, year of teaching experience, practical work experience, school type(national public school/private school), and school location.

  • The subjects in this study were 500 students who were selected from a population that consisted of security majors who took courses in martial arts in four different four-year-course universities. After a survey was conducted, the answer sheets from 451 students were analyzed except 49 incomplete ones. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS Ver. 12.0 program. Frequency analysis, t-test and one-way ANOVA were utilized, and LSD and regression analysis were employed to make a post-hoc comparison. All the hypotheses formulated in this study were verified at the a=.05(Chronbach's alpha) level of significance. The findings of the study were as follows: First, as for relations between demographic characteristics and self- realization, the college students investigated were statistically different according to gender in three subvariables of self-realization that included ability development, ability display and attainment of ideal. Age and academic year made a significant difference to their ability development and attainment of ideal, and they differed statistically significantly in terms of ability development according to black lebel test. Second, concerning connections between the degree of martial-arts training and self-realization, training term, one of the subvariables of the degree of martial-arts training had a positive correlation to their ability development and attainment of ideal at the 5% level of significance, and training time was positively correlated to their ability development at the 5% level of significance. Third, training term, one of the subvariables of the degree of martial- arts training, had an impact on ability development, and that exerted a firsthand influence on attainment of ideal as well.
